Had our residential sewer line scoped and found it needed to be replaced along with our water line. We had a fairly major repair job. Out house is over 100 years old and both the main drain line under the house as well as the waterline to the street both needed to be replaced. Besides the normal plumbing work, this required the team to jackhammer a trench across our entire basement to replace the line.

The job was done on time, on budget, and there were no surprises. They also left the worksite totally clean. Everyone I worked with in the process, from the initial plumber providing the estimate, to the installation coordinator at the office, to the workers completing the concrete work, were professional, polite, and patient in answering all of our questions.

We reviewed startling news from City of Hillsboro that we had a water leak. Then we received our monthly billing at 3x the normal amount. Cornel sent out Justin to our home. Justin was very professional and patient with all our questions. After much time and trouble shooting it was determined that the leak was coming from our Sprinkler system. We were able to have a landscape professional fix the problem.

Cornel’s did not charge us anything for the visit but they have earned a lifelong customer. Justin and Cornel’s showed integrity and honesty in dealing with us.

Nearby tree roots had located, and intruded into, a sewer line where a joint had failed. Megan, the scheduler, answered the phone (yes!) each time I called and coordinated the project. Tony scoped the line and diagnosed the issue on Monday. The online bid process was easy to finalize. The price was reasonable. The three-man crew arrived on Wednesday. They were efficient and professional, finishing the excavation, repair and fill-in (including replacing a concrete section of the driveway) before the end of the afternoon. This is my first time dealing with Cornel’s. It was a great experience!

Cornel's re-piped from the water main to the entrance of every building in our condo complex, replacing our corroded pipes with PLEX. This involved digging up asphalt and cement in multiple places, boring under the asphalt (while avoiding utilities), installing pipes, then re-paving and re-cementing and cleaning up. They were responsive and took initiative -- getting the utilities marked even while we were still receiving bids from other companies. They did the work according to plan and communicated clearly with us. Kudos to Alex for working with us from the start, Cain who oversaw the plumbing project, and Edgar and his team for the excavation and cleanup.

We took the time to research companies and search through the various platforms offering direct feedback from customers to find the right plumber. Hot water heater will quit on a Friday afternoon. Called Cornel's and Jordan arrived within 30 minutes for assessment. A 20 year old tank would obviously need to be replaced, but had to wait until Monday to install. They quote a set price with everything included, and a much appreciated military discount. I didn't bother to call any other companies since we just wanted to replace this without hassle of going through many calls and delays. Steve and Jordan arrived Monday within the window they scheduled, had the old unit out, new unit installed and everything cleaned up within an hour. I have a 100 yr old house, and the sewer line from our kitchen and laundry was starting to backup. Though not yet an emergency, Cornel's showed up the next day. They were very price competitive as I initially called around.

An important benefit of using Cornel's is that they send a camera down for an inspection after they cleared the line to confirm that there are no other concerning issues (roots, corroded pipes, etc.).

We recently had our house replumbed by Cornel Plumbing. They did a great job. They were professional and nice. We had a few things that didn't get done and they came right out and fixed it! The only thing that I would have liked better was a more detailed estimate in writing. It seemed like we talked about things that were not included in the estimate. Thank you for your good work, we are really excited about the improvements to our home!

A couple of years ago, our water heater malfunctioned & caused a carbon monoxide alert. The gas company gave us a list of plumbers to consider calling. I googled, and learned that Cornel's Plumbing is family owned & operated. My husband & I felt that since they are family, they would care about us. True to this thought, when I called for an appointment, a kind young lady immediately answered the phone and gave us a very timely appointment. A young plumber came, gave us an agreeable estimate (along with a senior discount) & a new water heater was installed in a few days. Now, we needed a water bib replaced outdoors. We didn't hesitate to call Cornel Plumbing to come replace it. They are quick to help us; arrive on time, communicate well with us; and their work is very well completed.

Cornel came out and did a huge overhaul of what we thought was just a simple fix of a tub diverter. Well, it turns out that the manufacturer of our home used incorrect pipe sizes, and set it at an angle.. Nothing about the setup was correct.
With Cornel’s experience, he was able to fix the pipes, stabilize them, created an access panel for us, AND fixed the diverter. The work Cornel performed was superior quality.

I clogged my kitchen sink after putting too much down my garbage disposal. After trying for two days to unclog it myself, I decided I needed help. I called later in the afternoon on a Thursday, and they were at my house first thing Friday morning! The woman that got me scheduled was friendly and informative. The man that came to my house was prompt, professional, extremely knowledgeable and communicative, and got the job done very efficiently. I even had questions about another job that needed to be done, and he was really helpful and gave me information so that I could fix it myself, because I’m on a budget. it was so wonderful to have excellent help, and not feel like I was being taken advantage of since I didn’t know what I was doing! I will refer this company to my friends, and definitely call them again if I ever need assistance!

Having a toilet replaced can be a real pain in the a$$, but Justin and Earnest of Cornell Plumbing were not only polite and professional, but fast and efficient! I hardly knew they were upstairs…. the worst part was waiting for the caulk to dry. Excellent work and professional courtesy!!!

Had my hot water heater die on a Friday morning. Called it in and and they sent out a tech within an hour or two. He tried to fix it but it came down to needing to be replaces. Scheduled me for the following Monday and they had the tank in within a couple of hours. Professional and clean. I highly recommend Cornel's Plumbing.

Cornel's plumbing has done a bunch of work for me at my house, as well as a rental. They've done drain clean-out, as well as 2 significant remodels. They are on time and on budget, and extremely clean and professional. I strongly recommend them.

Our water main pipe broke, erupting in our yard in a way you never want to see as a homeowner. After the water district turned off our water service, Cornel's was on-site in less than a day. However, the plumber that responded said the problem required a digging crew and fix team that was beyond what he could do. So we were out of water for two more days (I assume waiting for the crew to be available). The issue was fixed within a few hours of the crew's arrival. The cost for the main line repair (and replacing surrounding pipes) was about $2K. Cornel's did a good job.

These guys are the only plumbers I would ever consider calling. They have installed a tank hot water heater, a tankless hot water heater, and they repaired my water main. Every single time, they were on time, they did the job well, and they honored their estimate. They back up their work and they mean it. They’ve even come by to check up on the work to make sure that it’s still quality. Who does that anymore? They are the effing best.

Can home at 7:30am on Monday, March 27. Found water leaking from the water heater. Talked to Cornel's Plumbing receptionist. Technician called me within 15min and came to my home soon after. My heater was >18 years old, so replacement was recommended. I got a quote for the job, and another technician came in around 9am and replaced the heater in about 1.5 hrs. I was under a lot of stress, but Cornel's crew made my day. Thank you! Highly recommend to anyone.

I had a simple job but one that required a plumber. They had an appointment available the following week and he arrived on time. He was very nice and did an excellent job. Five star work. I was very happy with service. I had an issue with the pricing and the company resolved and worked with me. I do recommend getting the job bid when the plumber shows up on site so there is no surprise in pricing. I will use them again.

Needed a second opinion on a sewer scope that was done on a home inspection.
On time (early actually). He was prepared with City records and was very detailed ( and patient) describing what needed to be done, what the ramifications might/might not be and the price. When he was finished he showed me the results and how to access and forward them online. I was lucky that I don't need further work but if I did I would have them do it based on the tech's (wish I could remember his name) presentation, ease in scheduling and overall professionalism and knowledge. Tech wore booties indoors which shows respect for my property.

I initially had Cornel's plumbing remove and replace two bathtubshower faucets. I was amazed at the way the plumber did the job. So very neat and precise. I then made arrangements for the same man to return and install my new single spigot on my new granite countertops with a new disposal. Once again, very quick and super neat, wiping and sweeping up after the job. He did the jobs in under the estimated time saving me money. We used Cornell Plumbing in Portland OR and are very happy with the results. We had two rain runoff drains that were clogged and were dumping water into our yard by the foundation. We were afraid that we might have to have them dig up and repair or replace pipes in our yard. Tony from Cornell came and brought a pressure washer machine. He was able to clear both drains very quickly and we’re relieved.

Time to replace the original 75 gallon tank water heater the builder installed from 1997. Alex came to our home & explained our 3 options - tank, hybrid, or tankless. Replacement scheduled for a few weeks from now. Based on our past experiences we know they’ll do a clean, efficient job for us.

I used Cornel's last year to replace a major water line to my house. Their bid was slightly below the other two I received. They were friendly and prompt and did a great job. Then two days ago, right before Thanksgiving, I discovered that the trap under my kitchen sink had rusted out - a big mess right before Thanksgiving. They came out the next day, as scheduled, and went the extra mile, actually replacing all of the pipes under the sink since all of the pipes were old. They are my go-to for plumbing work and I highly recommend them.

Very satisfied. I was able to get an appointment on the same day I called. Technician (Dylan P.) showed up on time, quickly assessed the issue, got me an estimate and started the work to solve my problem. He was friendly, answered all my questions and even gave me some additional tips on keeping the water system in my house running trouble free. For reference, the builder for our house had used disimular metals (bronze and iron) and this had caused premature corrosion. The technician only replaced the bad iron part as the others were basically still new since the house is only 3 years old. I will call this company again in the future.

I am very pleased with the work Cornel Plumbing did in replacing my broken drain pipe. Josh did the initial scoping and when the scope brought up sludge, he completely cleaned up the area. Josh also gave me an immediate quote and scheduled everyone from the demolition crew (Edgar and Eddie), the plumbers (Alex and Eric), the inspector, the crew who filled in the trench (Edgar and Eddie again) and Slab Works (Derrick and family) who replaced the concrete. Everyone was on time (and even early in one case!), the work was done as promised, the site was left very clean, and there were no additional costs. Megan in the office was very helpful answering questions. I am happy to recommend both Cornel Plumbing and Slab Works, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I spent a week trying to diagnose a backed-up sewer with other companies and finally got connected with Cornel's, turns out I needed a full line replacement all the way to the street. They jumped on the install right away and explained everything to me thoroughly throughout the course of the three days it took to complete the job. Couldn't have been happier with the crew ...Edger, Fredy, Eddie, Landon and Daniel ... they really seem to live with they do and have a good time doing it. They went out of their way to make sure we had water over the weekend in the middle of the project and they even saved my rosebushes and re-planted them once the work was completed!

Had a leak that was outside the house and we had to shut off the water. It was the next day before someone could get to us, but Jake was available a few hours early and got the repair done quickly. He also explained a lot about how our system works and some things we could do in the future. We were able to pay on the spot, and got an invoice by e-mail.

Justin did a great job on fixing my 2 faulty shutoff valves and 1 broken (and leaking) spigot. Friendly, professional, and communicated his work and the pricing well.
And he finished quickly even though the space was very cramped.

I'll be using Cornel's Plumbing again for any plumbing issues, and I'll recommend them to everyone.

5/5 stars for them.

I would however advise doing your research if you need an additional drying service, since the company they recommended was overpriced.

The first guy didn't solve my drain problem. But it wasn't clear that he hadn't solved it until he left, it was after hours, and my shower backed up when I tried to use it. I called and left a message with Cornel's answering service. At 7:40 the next morning, they called and arranged to have Tony come that morning. The solution involved clearing the drain and replacing a 23 year old toilet, which he managed to do that morning. It wasn't cheap, but it was effective and we love our new throne.

After our toddler flushed something down the toilet that got stuck down in the pipe we called Cornels & they got Tony out quick and on time and fixed the issue in good timing too with reasonable rates. Highly recommend and will be calling them for any future needs!

Great customer service from the initial call until the tech, Vinnie arrived. He called me while on his drive over with an ETA and when he arrived he was polite, professional, and even put on a pair of booties. Thomas was great! It was a simple issue, but I hadn't been able to figure it out myself. I didn't end up using the services of Cornell Plumbing, but that was a limitation of their insurance not covering stacked apartments - instead they got me a recommendation to another business they trusted. Both Cornell and the recommended service have been excellently responsive.

Got appointment in a week. Courtesy call and showed up on said time. Checked it, took video of the issue and explained me, gave quote which is $500 cheaper than other provider and did the job right away and gave 3 yr warranty for the work they performed.

Called to let them know I have an emergency flooding situation. The lady I was explaining my situation to could care less and kept cutting me off. Told me to get a restoration company first, I said I am keeping it clean and vacuuming it, that the water is shut off but water keeps leaking in constantly. She then told me it will take weeks for someone to get out here, after hearing my emergency. I talked to several other plumbers after and every single one was able to send someone within the week because of my predicament. Terrible customer service.

I needed to replace an angled stop valve to the toilet. Tried DYI via YouTube. It looks like I did everything right but I made a mistake. So I needed a plumber right away. After calling about 7 to 8 other places first(none could come out that day), I called Cornel's and the lady who answered the phone was most helpful. She made a few inquiries of her plumbers and found one who could help us that day. She told me when to expect him and he was on time. DYLAN showed up and assessed the situation right away. Gave me an estimate(and let me just say plumbers are expensive) but it was within the monetary parameters I had calculated beforehand what the cost might be. So, I accepted the estimate and he got to work. Well our home was built in 2007 during the housing boom and some shortcuts were taken including the plumbing and plumbing support. To make a long story short, while removing the angle valve, the pipe got bent a little. So when I went to install the new valve it didn't seal properly. Dylan replaced that section of pipe and installed a commercial grade shut off valve. I watched and asked questions and he was willing to answer all my questions. THANK YOU CORNEL'S PLUMBING FOR SAVING MY BACON! So yeah, it was an expensive mistake on my part but I found a really good plumbing company for any future plumbing needs I may have.

The sewer pipe that runs from my house to the street was damaged by Ziply Fiber pipes that were pushed thru my sewer pipe. Eddie and Freddy were so awesome that day. I chose Cornel's Plumbing because of their good reviews and was not let down. All their communications and arrangements took place on time, as expected, and professionally. I dealt with Megan, the office administrator, Josh who did the sewer camera scope, Cody who made the repair arrangements and estimate, and Eric and Alex who fixed the plumbing. These guys were great. The Inspection/estimate/bid for a new sewer line, was very clear, with no hidden costs involved. Edgar, Freddy and Jordan were a very personable crew. Very fun to work with. Generally, I do all my plumbing myself, but I plan on contacting Cornel's, if the projects I have planned for this winter become to much for me.

Our water heater quit a few days after my husband had surgery so hot water was a necessity. I called late on a Tuesday afternoon, got a service appointment on Thursday. They were on time and were able to install a new unit that day. They saved the day!

Our water heater blew up on Sunday evening. We called and left a message for a repair. Got a call first thing on Monday morning and a tech was at our home within 3 hours. He said we needed to replace our water heater and had one in his truck. We told him to do the replacement. He was done in an hour and a half. He cleaned up and took our old water heater away for us. Very professional.

Update: Yesterday was the 4th time I've used Cornell's Plumbing. This time, it was to replace the faucet set in my 17 year old bathroom sink. The work took close to 2 hours, and cost $350. The new faucet was a twin handled Moen set that I purchased from Home Depot. Cornel told me the price before he began work. He left the sink spotlessly clean and (at my request) removed all packaging and the old faucet. Yes, plumbers are expensive, but if I have to spend the money, I at least have the satisfaction of knowing that it's done by a reliable, trustworthy company.

My new washer couldn't be hooked up to the water supply because my house has horrible PVC plumbing. The PVC pipe had become brittle and fused to the hot water valve. It was late in the afternoon when I called Cornel's, and they sent a plumber out the morning of the very next work day. Yay!!! Although he warned me the pipe could very likely break when he tried to remove it, it didn't, thank goodness. I was only charged his $150 trip fee. Double yay!!! Cornel's Plumbing will continue to be my preferred company in the future. I highly recommend them.

There is a long drain along the side of our house, that connects the gutters from the rear of the house, to the sidewalk gutter at the front of the house.

When that drain clogs, the drain overflows and floods everything along the side of the house.

Cornel's did a great job of clearing that drain. The drain is about 60 feet long, and it is not a DIY job.

They ran a camera through the entire length of the drain so I could see that it was now clear.

I hired Cornel's plumbing to fix a leak and clean some pipes under the kitchen sink. Cornel himself did the work. He also installed a new kitchen faucet. He was polite, courtious, on time, and did great, quality work. He was happy to advise and provide his guidance and opinion on other matters, too. No pressure, no upsells, just honest work and communication. He's a friendly guy I enjoyed having in my home! I won't hesitate to hire Cornel's again for the next job.

Had Cornel Plumbing come out and bid 3 different plumbing projects in my home. I asked the scheduler for pricing before coming out, but she would give no indication of pricing. She said they would have to come out and bid the job. To do this there would be a $40 fee. The plumber came out when scheduled and was very nice. The problem was the outrageous pricing. When I questioned the plumber, it came out that bids are based around an hourly rate of $400/hour. When I declined the bid, the plumber was very nice to wave the $40 fee which I was thankful for. My rating is based solely on the pricing. I wound up hiring another plumber and was able to get everything done for a third of the price.

The technician explained the problem, gave me my options and gave me a price before doing the work. I will call them again when I need a plumber.

One of our pipes broke. Cornel, the owner of the company, was able to come out quickly for the repair. He was able to identify the problem quickly and explained what had happened. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I would HIGHLY recommend this company!

We had an outside faucet replaced (major leaking). From first contact to the job being done, communication was fantastic. We were also given a hint to prevent this happening again anytime soon. I really appreciated the responsiveness, as I had actually scheduled this work with another company earlier. They had trouble just answering the phone. I am glad, because now I have a go-to plumbing company that is quite good!

Recently had our home repiped with PEX due to aging CPVC that was beginning to fail in addition to replacing an aging hot water heater. Requested bids from 4 highly rated and very experienced plumbing companies. While all could have done the work, Cornel's price was very competitive, their timeline to complete the work worked for us and there were no requests I made that they could not/would not accommodate.

Once I accepted the bid, Meagan scheduled us quickly, and the team was here a week later. Our install team was Steve and Justin. They did a great job of communicating and when necessary, making sure we were happy with the location of new fixtures, etc. before doing the install. They were on time (each day), had a very positive attitude, spoke highly of their employer and worked well together to professionally complete the job.

As a testament to their focus on customer service, we needed a minor item fixed the day after the install team left, and there was a Cornel's Service Tech at our doorstep a few hours later.

I feel like I now have a plumbing company I can trust and whom I can rely on to be quick, efficient and professional. Well done!

Replaced my neighbor's sewer. Since they had to dig a deep trench for the job, we let them put the dirt on our concrete driveway. They protected our driveway and landscaping with plywood, cleaned up after themselves, and were extremely friendly and professional throughout the three day process.

We wanted a tankless water heater and called several plumbers. Cornel’s was the only company that responded promptly and gave us a heads-up that we would also need to replace our gas line. We’re so glad we went with them because our inspector definitely would not have approved the installation otherwise! They showed up on time, removed the old water tank AND the massive supporting concrete block, which we were not expecting but so happy to see gone, and installed the gas line and tank in just a few days. The town inspector was nearly giddy with the size of our gas pipe and was impressed with the work. Everything works great and we’re happy.

Cornel's Plumbing did a great job diagnosing a leak from our hose bib on the front of our house. They repaired the leak and cleaned up everything nicely. The appointment system is excellent and they communicate very well. This is not the first time we've used them and will continue to use them.

While i appreciate the work on one hand, I also have feedback on the other hand: Andrew, the technician, gave me no other option than to replace the heater because the unit was too old (1994), and “as soon they started leaking, they had to be replaced”, which i believed and trusted in good faith. But i’m getting pointers of other people who only had to tight a valve and that was it. If i was given this information, I would had gone that way, but Andrew didn’t say that to
me. Halso didn’t inspect the unit tho. This also leaves me with a feeling that i was sold a new unit rather than actually assessing if the unit was repairable.

I’m not saying that tightening the valve was the solution, but now i can’t ever know that. I knew replacing the unit was an option, all I’m saying is, that was the only option given to me, there was no assessment based on actual inspection to collect the facts

Thank you to Cornel's plumbing for the amazing work and customer service they provided throughout a sewer line repair project at our new home. From start to finish, they were extremely sympathetic, efficient and professional. Long story short, my partner and I had just purchased our first home and, a few days after moving in, we noticed sewage water backing up from our downstairs shower. It turns out a newly installed grounding rod had been driven right through the sewer line. Based on other reviews, we contacted Cornel's to assess the problem and ultimately repair the sewer line. As first time homeowners, my girlfriend and I were very stressed and overwhelmed with the situation, but Cornel's handled it with grace. Since the sewer line came out of the basement, they needed to dig an 8' deep hole to access the line. Because of the equipment and scheduling needed for the job, they weren't able to come out same day, but scheduled the repair ASAP. They provided us with a Honey Pot in the meantime (not ideal for your first week in a new house, but let me tell you it was necessary and thoughtful). When they came out for the excavation and repair, they were efficient and professional. Edgar was the excavation lead and he explained everything they were doing, was super friendly, and obviously cared for the safety of his team. The job was completed in one afternoon and they took care to not damage the lawn surrounding the repair site, refilling the hole and sprinkling grass seed when complete. Shout out to Nate who first diagnosed the repair (and also fixed our faucet that same day - unrelated problem) and Mario and Megan in the office who were super patient and helpful. Cornel's even allowed us to wait until we had been compensated by the electrician's insurance before paying the costs. The whole experience was smoother than expected and, a few months later, everything is still tip top. Thank goodness.

Very happy with the whole process in our semi-emergency situation. We have an old house and the kitchen sink drain pipe developed a leak. The repair was tricky with little maneuvering space but they developed a plan, estimated the cost and delivered. They provided better locations for cleanouts and made sure we were happy. Excellent service - we had a large leak in an angle stop that was flooding the bathroom floor (due to a water supply line that had gotten corroded and caused failure in the angle stop when removed). We are currently dealing with another water leak problem that caused extensive damage and so this was causing great concern that we would have another part of house with severe water damage. Vinnie was able to come within 45 minutes and diagnose the problem, he quickly did a cutout and determined no internal leak and that the insulation and drywall were intact and repaired the problem and got the toilet working. We then had him service a second toilet which he was able to do quickly and got us a discount and threw in a couple of extra supply lines at no additional cost. I highly recommend Cornel, they are very professional and quick and their work comes with a 3 year warranty.

With that said, consumers may find their pricing to be at a full retail level but, with a $49 refundable (if you proceed with the work) estimate fee the option is entirely yours as to whether to proceed or not. Having worked with numerous Plumbing companies over the years as a Real Estate Broker getting an estimate is not always a given.
I would recommend Cornel’s as resource for any of your future plumbing needs.

Tony and J. came out the other week to unclog my underground drains. I had my gutters cleaned previously and the technician told me I needed to contact professional plumbers to do the job since he couldn't. Cornel's was very responsive, professional, and did the job quickly. They unclogged all of my underground drains so now all of the rain from the gutters is re-directed away from the home again. CORNEL'S=INTEGRITY. I recently had a HUGE job done- Interior and exterior sewer and water supply lines replaced (scoping showed problems in the 80 yr old piping). It was a two week job. From Megan, the scheduler, to the 10 employees that worked on the job, it was nothing but positive. Josh did a thorough and thoughtful job inspecting, scoping and answering all of my questions. Edgar, Freddie and Eddie did the exterior digging and pipe replacement - positive energy even at the tough moments. Cain was the main plumber and worked diligently also answering any questions. The whole crew was respectful. Even the folks they contracted with to do the replacement of interior cement work were excellent.

Fast and professional Service. Our 18 year old gas water heater went out on friday. While they weren't able to see us the same day, they came out early on Monday and removed and installed a new system within 3 hours. Jordan was respectful and kept the walking area clean by laying down mats on the carpet. We will definitely be using their services again if needed.

Cornell replaced the hose bib outside my house to repair a leak for me. He tried the less expensive option first, but when it became apparent it wouldn’t solve the problem, he did the more complicated option that required access through the drywall in my home. He is the cleanest and tidiest plumber I could ever imagine, performed a flawless replacement of the faulty parts, and explained what he was doing and why at every step. I had to have my entire sewer line replaced under the house, and outside to connect to the main line. Additionally, I had my water line completed at the same time. I cannot say enough about how happy I was with Cornel's. The folks doing the work took their time to do a great job, and communicate everything with me very thoroughly. They were incredibly professional and I felt so good about the quality of work they they did! It was a big project for a small residential home that required a lot of digging under the house. The whole project timeline for both water and sewer was about 2 weeks and I was happy to have been able to work with them over that time. There were many folks doing great work - Juan, Mike, Frankie, Freddy, and Landon were all excellent! I know there were others, please know that I appreciated your work as well and just don't remember everyones names. Additionally, they worked with me to make it more affordable. We realized we had a plumbing issue with our kitchen drainage in our crawl space and called Cornel plumbing. They had a plumbing technician named Justin come out that same week and give us an estimate. We were put to be on the schedule just two days later and got it done that same day! Justin was very professional and knowledgeable. He made sure to answer every question I had and did a great job overall. I definitely recommend Conel’s plumbing.

Outstanding service and workmanship from Justin at Cornel's Plumbing. We had two leaking drain pipes in the basement. He was on time and promptly diagnosed the problem and prepared a quote. Then he cut out the leaky pipes and installed new pipes and fittings (from his well stocked van). Finished within 2 hours with a test to confirm no leaks. Upon completion, he handled invoice, payment confirmation, and even emailed photos and videos of the before and after from his tablet. Very impressive and professional customer service.

I've used theirs services twice now and they will continue to be my go-to plumber! Cornel has showed up both times and was polite, quick, and seemingly efficient. The prices have been very reasonable. Their staff who helps coordinate the appointments have always been helpful as well.

Great service and communication, very professional, on time, honest and transparent with the real service needed. In my case I was 100% sure would have to change the garbage disposal, and Cornel just told me I didn’t need to. Quickly replaced our old leaking water heater.

They showed up early. Finished quicker than projected. Were super clear with the options we had, about scheduling and were very friendly (even with our very curious cat). Would definitely recommend them.

We had tried to install faucets ourselves in our 1970's home right before Christmas and were unsuccessful. With guests on the way, Cornel was able to get us onto the schedule and complete our job. Even coming back early the following morning when it was discovered that the faucet we had bought from Lowe's was missing a vital part that we had to go get. Above and beyond! Cornel saved Christmas! We will definitely be doing business with them again.

I called Cornel's Plumbing to investigate a knocking noise I heard when using different fixtures. They worked diligently to identify the issue (pipe knocking). In addition, they serviced a toilet that had worn rubber washers. Each person who worked at our place was courteous and professional. Will use them for any future plumbing needs.

The underground gutter drain at one of my gutters was clogged and overflowing - I removed the gutter downspout and tried to clear the blockage myself with a cheap gutter snake I had on hand but no luck. Cornel's was able to get out in one day and jetted the gutter drain from the back of my house to the curb outlet and cleared a huge root ball clogging the drain exit by the curb. Luckily, the drain pipe was not damaged as the root ball was starting to grow into the pipe from the exit point.
Tony the tech who showed up was awesome! He was quick, efficient and kept me in the loop as to his progress on the drain. (Thanks brah!)

What a great experience I had with Cornels Plumbing...start to finish. I called them and a REAL live wonderful sounding lady answered the phone. I even made a not to myself on my calendar that a 'very nice lady' answered. Every other call I made was answered by a machine.
I explained my situation, I was looking for someone to come out and diagnose my water heater and why it took soooooooooooo
long to get hot water to my shower. We made an appt.
Got an appt reminder by text a couple of days before.
Day of, my time was 8-10am, Justin called about 8 said he was 1/2 hr from my house. I won't go into every detail, but Justin listened to me describe the situation. He checked everything he could to try to figure out why my hot water was taking to long to show up. Water heater was fine, and I had had a recirculating apparatus installed several years ago, but that hadn't seemed to do much. I had asked him about a tankless water heater, he gave me a 'ball park' idea of cost. He looked again at the water tank and he indicated he turned a knob on the recirculating piece to on. It had been on time. Unfortunately that wasn't the easy fix we both hoped for. It has given me an idea however of doing more research on the recirculating device, is it programmed correctly? Justin was the one who brought the idea of whether the device was working properly to my attention.
I was very impressed with Cornels Plumbing (I can be pretty particular at times!) and will definitely be calling them again.

It's always refreshing to find a company who checks off all the right boxes! While our water leaks weren't extensive, the age and access to the pipes was a challenge. Juan, our technician, was professional, communicative, and honest as he carefully reviewed the work involved. He was extraordinarily patient, focused, and thorough to complete the job and was always respectful of our home. His willingness to engage and answer any of our questions or concerns was a real plus! Had a leaking section of kitchen drain pipe replaced, where I had done all the prep of opening up the wall for access. Two guys got the job done in less than two hours, very efficient and good work. However the billing rate was too high for this job, over $500/hour per plumber. Seems very excessive, will look elsewhere next time.
Edit: they did come back in following weeks and refund some money after review of bill. Result reported as billing error.

Vinnie provided an estimate for a new gas water heater on Thursday based on the specifications I provided and the following Monday Thomas arrived and made the installation. I felt the quote was fair and Thomas provided an excellent installation. I highly recommend this company.

A friend has a busted water line, and so I quickly recommended Cornel's. I had a great experience with them on my house last summer -- posted a review on another site, and so wanted to repost that here now.

These guys are fantastic! Cornel's plumbing is *exactly* the kind of company you hope to find when you need help. Our job this past summer took an unexpected twist, but they stuck with their original bid and got the work done well.

We were moving out, and the inspection's sewer scope showed an issue somewhere rather deep (~14 feet deep) towards the front of our property beneath the sidewalk. We needed work to be done very quickly to meet the target closing date, which put us in a position of need of which a lot of companies may try to take advantage. Not Cornel's. They made my problem their problem and saw it through.

With services crisscrossing the area, it was difficult to pinpoint the repair location (same from all contractors we had bid). A very friendly young man (Joshua) came out, went over the knowns and unknown aspects of the job, and gave us a very competitive bid.

Edgar led the work crew and was very helpful in explaining everything that the team would do to our property, how they would do it safely, and how they would clean things up when done. If we ever had another job that needs to be done, I know that I want Edgar running that crew.

The deep location of our spot repair ended up requiring an additional hole to be dug under our neighbor's yard. They worked with the neighbor to gain access and were very courteous and careful with the work they did. After the repair was completed, they buttoned up the hole nicely, cleaned up the dirt and laid down new grass seed. They even took care of repairing a segment of the sidewalk in front of the neighbor's house while they filled in the first hole for us and poured the concrete. Our neighbors were impressed!

And not only that, they completed all of this work and didn't charge beyond the original bid amount! I am sure the other companies that bid would have charged me extra for the extended time and the additional hole to be dug. Cornel's stuck to the price and stuck to their word.

I never once had the feeling of getting screwed over or taken advantage of while in a vulnerable position of need like moving out. I've told all my friends about these guys, and they were all impressed. Friendly, courteous, professional work with great value. Exactly what you want.

Sewer scope was very thorough and it confirmed I had a non comforming sewer line. Requested a repair bid and received same day.

The short review is that this is an extremely professional and competent company -- there is a reason they have so many good reviews, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I had them replace a failed sewer connection to the city after having multiple companies bid on the job. They did an excellent job of explaining what needed to be done and providing evidence for it. They were great at listening to my concerns and ideas; on the day of the job, the team walked through what needed to be done, and together we came up with an alternate plan that saved most of my yard and a substantial amount of money. While the job was being done, they kept me well informed of what was happening and of what would need to be done afterwards, and they worked hard to make sure things were cleaned up and I was happy. You might find a plumber who will quote you a lower price, but the peace of mind that things are done right and won't fail was worth the small premium.
