I did not use this company and for good reason. I had a leaky tub faucet and they recommended a complete replacement of all the tub faucets and valves. This would have required them to demolish some new bathroom tiles i had put in. The estimate was $1,800+

I called another company to get a second estimate and they fixed the leak by simply replacing the tub faucet cartridges. The cost was $300.

If you are using Sutherland and feel something doesn't add up, TRUST YOUR INTUITION and call someone else. DISHONEST!!!

Just recently moved to Portland from Seattle, and Best Portland Plumbers did all the plumbing work in the new home we built. They were very professional & finished everything according to schedule. I plan to call them should I need any emergency repairs in the new home!

Overall good experience. Tech was prompt, kind, and experienced. Was careful in the house and left the place clean. Leaving 4 stars because of the pricing discrepancy. They lure you in with a reasonable price on the website, then hook you in for much more once the tech is on site. Website said $129 for drain clearing, ended up being either $450 for basic or $650 for the water jet that clears out majority of the blockage in the drain. If they had advertised the actual prices, I might have spent more time self-diagnosing the problem at hand.

Mike came to our home and replace the part in the toilet tank, along with replacing parts in the shower. He was professional on arriving, he identified myself and was appropriately dress with protective footwear. He was knowledgeable about his profession. I rarely post reviews; in this case they came out within six hours of calling to fix a leaking water heater. The water heater was 16 years old and needed to be replaced; they gave a very competitive quote to replace it. After the work was done, their actual cost came in several hundred dollars under the quote. All of the people were great to work with.
