If I could give them zero stars I would, very unprofessional and a waste of time. I contacted this company in hopes to get a water heater fixed for my business, The first lady that I interacted with was super friendly and easy to work with. However I was then called by Mike one of there Estimate guys and he had an attitude while on the phone with me. He then asked me to send him all these different pictures and I was told he would send me an estimate asap.. 3 days later (Yes.. it took 3 days) I got a very unprofessional email from Mike Hiefield who represents MP Plumbing btw... with a short email stating We are going to pass on this one .... That was all I got in that email, zero explanation, zero reasonings, NOTHING! So not only did they waste my time but they took 3 days for them to simply reply with a NO..

I manage a business as well and I would never waste a customers time nonetheless be so unprofessional.

MP Plumbing Co - Please retrain your employees to know how to properly interact with potential customers. They are the face of your company, You need to do better!

Hot water in the tub ran in a steady stream and wouldn't turn off on a Sunday night before Labor Day. Most places closed for the holiday, but got a referral to MP, which has a plumber on call arrangement for emergencies. A plumber, Gene, was at our house within an hour, came up with a fix for the antiquated bath fixture, then -- because we were paying a two-hour minimum -- proceeded, cheerfully, to fix several other little plumbing problems around the house. The only great plumbing experience we've ever had.

My property management company uses this Plumbing Service and the gentlemen they sent out of repair our dish disposal was quick, kind, and respectful. He called about 40 minutes prior to let me know we was on his way and made short work of the task at hand. He also was kind to my pet which I thought was very nice. Would recommend if you have a very old disposal that's acting up.

As a contractor, I've been using MP for years. I've found that they're straight shooters, on time and for the most part affordable plumbers. You get what you pay for when it comes to hiring these types of services. Highly recommended.

Good service

Jordan Trinh is the best plumber ever. He repaired a really complicated plumbing situation with minimal opening to the wall, he was in communication with me at all times while he navigated the issue and the tenants waited for the repair, I will be asking for him pretty often. Thanks.

This company came out to do work on a unit in an apartment and turned the water off in a 4 unit building without notifying residents! And when speaking with the talking head on the other end of the receiver to complain it had no concern or regard!

Recently our water heater blew a cork ... literally all over our garage ... luckily it was in our garage! 50 gallons of water makes quite a mess! When trying to decide our next step, MP Plumbing was suggested as a company that could come to our rescue. I called and talked with Kim. She asked a few questions and got us on the schedule for first thing the next morning! Weston showed up right on time. He was professional and had a great personality! In no time at all our new water heater was installed! I would highly recommend Weston and MP Plumbing !!!

Had a main water line break on the property. A headache! Kim in the office was very helpful in getting us prepared for the work at hand. She sent out Seth who is hands down one of the best plumbers I’ve dealt with. Very knowledgeable, patient, efficient and a great get-the-job-done attitude. I’ve call many plumbers out to my property. Hoping I can request Seth by name, if needed. I am glad my big emergency was handled by these guys. I see some negative reviews for MP, just wanted to say, sometimes one bad experience with one tech is not a reflection of a whole company. Haven’t you ever had that one co-work that made everyone look bad... I know I have! I’ve had more postive experiences than negative here. Again, thank you Kim and Seth, from Halsey Station Apts!

Great place to work

Great technician, did excellent work. Disappointed with pricing ie. Charging 3/4 hour extra for travel time when we are 10 min from shop.

I had the plumber come out to repair my toilet. The plumber worked on it and when he left he said “it’s fixed, I flushed it 5 times”. I said great! About half an hour later I went in and it wasn’t fixed at all - it was exactly as it was before. I called the company and the woman who answered the phone, who was not at all sympathetic, said that because he mentioned they might need a part as he came into the house (before he had even seen the toilet) they can’t be held responsible. I repeated that he said it was fixed when he left and it wasn’t. She didn’t care as he said as he entered it might need a part. I really feel that I was ripped off. But luckily there are many good plumbing companies in this area and I’ll never have to use this one again!

Highly recommend this company. We have been dealing with an issue with our master bathroom toilet for years. Cameron came out today and finally resolved the issue. He cleared all of the drains. Cameron was highly professional too!!

I left a message about a job and they never called me back and promised they would, not impressed

I had an appointment for a “drain specialist” to come over to our home today about 12:30pm. I knew that he would call on his way. What I was NOT told was that if I missed that call, they would send the “drain specialist” to a different job and I would not receive service today. I have re-arranged my day to be home for this appointment and have been waiting for this man’s arrival. Only to find out, I now don’t have an appointment. They did offer me one tomorrow morning, no thank you. I find this policy… and the policy that wasn’t clearly communicated very unprofessional.

My family has used MP Plumbing several times over the years and they always do a great job. I recently used them for a drainage issue and I called close to Christmas. They said it would be about a week, which isn't bad considering how busy things are around the holidays. They said they would put me on a call up list if an earlier opening came up and they called me twice to see if they could provide the service sooner. Unfortunately I wasn't available, but what a great service to try and squeeze me in. Their staff are always professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend MP Plumbing!

They are amazing, they helped install a new water heater on Saturday. They were quick and professional. I highly recommend this company. Got a water heater replaced within a few hours.

Never returned my call, so I found someone else.

We were having drainage issues with our washing machine. We called MP. They said they could have someone out the next day but we had to work so they worked with us and had Ryan come out on a day that we picked. Ryan did a fabulous job and fixed the issue. He also fixed a leaky faucet in our bathroom. He was knowledgeable, professional and understanding of our needs.

Wes did a fantastic job on fixing our guest bathroom toilet blockage. He was on time, fast, and hard working. We had some special requests in working with our home warranty company - which is not a pleasant experience if you've ever been through it - but Wes had a good attitude about it nonetheless. We are so grateful that MP plumbing was able to help us and appreciate the workmanship and professionalism of their licensed plumber Wes. Thank you MP plumbing!

I am beyond pleased with the responsiveness and quality of work of MP plumbing. We had them out to install bathroom fixtures and they did an excellent job.

Sure, you could find a cheaper plumber but I prefer to work with a professional company that is organized and efficient. I highly recommend MP Plumbing. We've used them for a few years now and never been disappointed.

I rarely post reviews; in this case they came out within six hours of calling to fix a leaking water heater. The water heater was 16 years old and needed to be replaced; they gave a very competitive quote to replace it. After the work was done, their actual cost came in several hundred dollars under the quote. All of the people were great to work with.

My garbage disposal was plugged, and big time leaking. Jordan came over and assessed the situation. He was polite and sensitive to my cats. He showed me the rust and leaks. He had the same model on his truck, so no need to wait and reschedule. He had it installed quickly. Price was good, my sink was back in business and I am very happy.

The guy that showed up walked into the house with a lit cigarette! He also started using my extension cord and drop light without asking. Someone else was paying off site he didn't even let us know what was wrong or how much it was going to cost the other person that was paying! You didn't leave a bill all I did was leave a business card in the stink of cigarettes behind!

Came in, same day service, fixed my leak, profesional, no complaints. Thank you MP

Great customer svs

Called and showed up early!! Repaired leaking plumbing under the kitchen sink, cleaned the filters on our tankless water heater and fixed a leak on an outdoor faucet. Invoice was very reasonable. Plumber was polite, considerate, communicated clearly. We really appreciated the service!

While another plumbing company said they would have to replace our entire toilet just to fix the flapper of one from 1963, MP came in & took care of it easily, updating the insides. Thank you!

I manage apartment building in SE. I have used MP plumbing for some of my vintage buildings I have worked for in the past. Their pricing was always equal to or cheaper than other bids I had done. Friendly staff. The true reason of this 5 Star Review was the amazing customer service I received on 12/01/2020. Called in because my property has an issue with a commercial water heater. Talking with the associate over the phone she grabbed all my information and realized for me that my machine may still be under warranty. She referred me to one of their competitors who could probably do the work for little to no-cost, just to save the property money. 5 Star reviews goes to those who look out for others.

After working with a handyman and rotor rooter, I gave up and called MP plumbing. They were careful to do only the necessary work, after the others wanted to replace a whole lot more. They were polite and professional, and came to do the work the morning after I called.

Were able to come on the day we called. Which was great. This is the second time they've done work for us and we've been pleased both times.

I called July 27, 2020 to have an estimate for completing a new bathroom. On Sept 3 after 13 emails, a site visit, and several phone calls, I was told they would definitely get a quote within 3 business days. After 4 days, I called and told it will likely be another week before they could provide a quote! They are missing several people this week and uncertain when they could get me a quote. This what I have been told since July! Another plumbing firm came out and provided a quote in 30 minutes.

I called the day before to request a service for a business that had issue with a leak in a public restroom toilet . I first spoke with Kim who was very helpful. I told them we did not want to pay for after hour calls but would need someone out asap in am. Needless to say if you don't answer the call then they skip you and move on to the next. I called to from home the morning of to inform them that I would not be able to answer the call and that I need to have them call my cell number instead. Not a good way to do business. This needs to be addressed by your management you will end up losing customers if you treat calls in this fashion. Doubt I will ever call this company again. Just because I was not able to confirm a call at 7:30 am then you lose your turn , that would have been helpful information the day prior when I first attempted to schedule repairs, since the toilet did not magical fix itself overnight . If a customer calls for asap then you need to schedule the service next business day and train your staff to not hang up on customer then not even call them back. Customer service is a dying art and more companies need to focus training staff how treat your perspective customer and insure they will be return customers.

These people are the best! They have the skills, the know-how and the honesty and integrity to back it up! Amazing company! I will be calling them for all my plumbing needs! Dean was very knowledgeable to talk to and Mason was very helpful and courteous. Michael our technician is definitely management material. He’s a hard worker and honest to a fault. He saved us lots of money.

Ethan did an amazing job. Very professional. Quickly fixed the blockage and left everything clean. Have used MP Plumbing a couple of times and they always do a great job for a fair price.

Eric from MB was at my home to install a dishwasher. Instead of doing what we were quoted for, he stayed for an additional 4 hours (I was at work and the friend sitting at my house didn't know to stop him) we-routing my pipes. Now, no one asked him to do that, it wasn't necessary, and he didn't bother to ask anyone if he could triple our bill above the estimate amount. He just came into my home, and decided for himself what was best for me, and expected to be paid for it. When I was notified that he was still at my home hours after he should have been gone, I called him immediately. At that point he proceeded to speak to me as if I were trying to rip HIM off. When I refused to pay a cent over the amount of the estimate for THE WORK I ASKED FOR, he contacted my mother, a contact for this project. And convinced her to pay it. This I'd robbery and I'm reporting this company to every outlet I can find.

Found a leak late on a Saturday night and called rescue rooter, mr. rooter and roto rooter, all said they couldn’t send an actual plumber out until a weekday morning despite all three having “24 Hour plumber” on their website. Called MP and had someone here in an hour. Cut open the wall and replaced a copper section all within the minimum 2 hour charge.
It wasn’t cheap but it was we needed it done NOW and got every penny worth of value from the speedy and effective plumber who showed up!

Would not recommend. Overpriced and they are not truthful with the time spent on labor. They do not inform clients of charges prior to service (they apparently charge travel time, which was not communicated to us). Costumer service poor. Many other more affordable and honest choices in town.
