Royal Flush plumbing installed a hot water heater with a lot of nonstandard issues and complications. They were on time, courteous and professional. Initially they had hooked one of the nonstandard pipes incorrectly, but when they were informed of they came back within a few hours to fix it and now everything is working perfectly.

We would HIGHLY recommend Royal Flush to anyone looking for fair quotes, integrity and efficiency. We received a very competitive quote from Mike for a sewer line replacement. He called back in 5 mins, and made it out to the house same day to assess the work. He gave us a detailed explanation of the problem and process to replace. We were sold on the quick turn around and 10 year warranty. While the line was being replaced we found the water main was rusted out and leaking. Mike cleared his schedule for the next day and completed that unforeseen job in a single day so we could get the house on the market. While the issues we faced were upsetting, the assistance Royal Flush provided made the process as painless as possible.

On time, on budget, and professional. Plumber did great work. I would recommend them to anyone.

Royal flush had great customer service and we really felt that they wanted to help us find the best, long term solution for our home. They had great ideas to turn a emergency sewer repair into upgrading the basement to be the most functional. They answered all of my questions very patiently and throughly and helped us understand our entirety homes plumbing. Their price was very similar to two other estimates we received, but their work was all inclusive (which others didn’t offer). MOST IMPORTANTLY they did all of the work in 1 day!!!! It was incredible! They left our yard looking great for the size of the hole they dug. Our only disappointment was that the next day the tree next to where they dug the hole fell over. I understand the hole had to be dug, but wish they would’ve communicated that the tree roots were damaged and it might’ve been a concern.

Overall we were happy with their speed, quality and affordable service. Would definitely recommend!

I had Royal Flush Plumbing put in a new sewer line. They were pleasant and easy to schedule with, came out, got the job done and collected their payment.
My only advice for anyone thinking to hire Royal Flush Plumbing is to follow up on the permits! I followed up a month after the job was complete only to find out that they never scheduled any inspections or uploaded their sewer line scope video for City review. I made 5+ calls to get this taken care of, only to be passed around and told that they frankly don’t have the time to deal with the permitting issues or City requirements. Of course, this is after they have been paid in full for the job. After the Building Official denied the inspection that I scheduled, they reluctantly emailed a sewer scope. They never rescheduled the inspection so I had to upload the video myself through the online permitting system and reschedule the inspection.
I was really disappointed by their lack of office professionalism. I understand they are very busy but that is not a good reason to not schedule inspections and leave permits open. Doing such can put the homeowners in a bind when it comes time to selling their home or filing home insurance claims.
Long sorry short, be prepared to follow up on your permits with your local jurisdiction and hold Royal Flush accountable for their work.

Royal Plumbing is the BEST! I called desperately trying to find a company to replace a gas line so my new range could be installed. I had grandchildren coming to make Christmas cookies and all other companies I called couldn’t do it until after the holidays. Kim worked her magic and had Rick coming back from another job to help us. He was professional as was his apprentice and both saved the day. I will forever be grateful to Royal Plumbing , and cookies were made.

l feel so lucky to have picked Royal Flush for my plumbing issue. I discovered I had a water leak at my main water line coming in from the street to my house. I got 3 quotes and Royal Flush was by far the best price with the best customer service. They were the only quote that I received where they did a complete assessment of the problem by crawling under my house and really giving me a clear picture of what needed to get done. The other plumbers just did a street level inspection without bothering to look any further.

So I called to confirm that I wanted to use them and by the next day, they had a crew on site at 8am ready to get the job done. They were on time and very professional. There was a small problem that I discovered later that day and they rushed out with a complete crew to get it fixed. And they did. It was great. I appreciate the owner, Teddy, responding to me so quickly, coming over to my house to check things out, and then getting the crew on-site. I couldn't ask for anything more. I called about a water main leak and Royal Flush was there that evening to provide a quote. The work was done quickly and professionally, I would definitely recommend Royal Flush.

We have used Royal Flush Plumbing in the past, and we were satisfied with their services. May 29th, 2020 we needed a water pressure regulator replaced . I expected the cost to be around $350, but received a quote for $550 or less, but 1/2 hour later, the quote became $725.

We suggest you don't take a gamble with this company - it will be costly if you do.

We are remodeling 3 bathrooms necessitating drain relocations, new shower/tub, new shower installation, washer connection relocated. Additionally we had our home completely repiped.

Ricardo came out to do our plumbing job today. He was so friendly and upbeat, a really nice person to have working in our home. He took his shoes off every time he came in and out of the house, and was very polite. The job took less time than I expected, and I was very happy with that. He cleaned up, explained how the new parts work, and went on to his next customer.

I had a 2 hour window in which he was expected to arrive, but a half hour before that window closed, I had a call from the office saying he'd be a little late. I wish I had known earlier so I could have done something more with my day, but overall, that wasn't enough to take away a star from my rating.

The office scheduler was very friendly. We both had forgotten the date and scheduled the job for a holiday. She called me back and got me in the first available time slot on the next day they were open.

I am glad I found a plumbing company that I can call on if needed.

Excellent service. Eric arrived on time, did excellent work and left areas where he worked cleaner than he found them. We will call them back in a couple months to update our dated faucets.

The service itself was fine, they came out relatively quickly and did the job, hence the 2 stars. The cost and value are atrocious however. They were here for 30 minutes and charged me $450. I get that things are expensive these days, but almost $1000 an hour seems ridiculous. I could've understood $200 an hour with a one our minimum or something, but this was over the top.

Neither the scheduler nor the guys that came onsite mentioned anything about the cost being so high (or anything about cost for that matter) even if the job was super short/easy. Obviously shame on me too for not asking, that won't happen again. Lots of plumbers out there, I would choose another if I were you.

I called Royal this afternoon for an issue we were having with our toilet not draining. Right away they were super friendly and helpful on the phone, I told them the issues I was having and they told me they would have someone out to check it out. Not even an hour later and they were at my door! Ted promptly looked it all over and told me what he would do if it was his and I agreed. I thought then I would be then scheduled for a later time but instead they jumped right on it and had it done in less than two hours and had us back up and running! I highly recommend Royal Flush and will use them from now on for any plumbing problems!

A father left this number as an emergency contact on his sons paperwork for a sports program I work for. When I went to use it, I thought it odd but some parents leave their work numbers. I was rudely talked to by a woman who answered. When I explained why I was calling, and asked if there was a man who worked there by the name he had given me, she chewed me out. I understand that sometimes, it’s an inconvenience to be called when someone seems to have the wrong number, but really, if you are getting paid by a business to represent them on the phone and to the general public, you need to maintain professionalism. Sadly, this woman has neither and it’s unfortunate that your business which is probably great, is so poorly represented on the phone to a total stranger.

Ted and his crew installed a new water service line in a tricky location. They bored a path through tricky terrain for a long distance. Not all plumbers had the equipment needed for this job but Royal Flush had the equipment needed and added us to their schedule in a timeline manner, understanding the urgency for the job. Royal flush came out to do a small shower-piping repair. Good experience overall, scheduling was easy and communication ample. The gentlemen who did the work were professional and thorough.

I just bought an old house with galvanized steel water pipes and I needed the whole house (kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, outside hose) repiped with PEX and a water heater replacement. Ted called me back right away and came out the next day to do a thorough walkthrough and explain all that they were going to do. He gave me a very fair estimate and we scheduled the work for about a week later. The crew, Weston and Austin, arrived on time for the job and were communicative throughout the process. They finished the job on schedule and on budget and they cleaned up the job site before they left. Eric and Casey were so wonderful! I needed some hose bibs installed for my garden and they came the next day and had them installed in a flash! They even pointed out how one of the previous hose bib was leaking and I'm grateful it is fixed now and I can save on my next water bill!

Weird place. When they come, the service is usually lovely, if rather expensive. However, making appointments is a nightmare and some of the receptionists are extremely rude, refusing to do basic callbacks or acting like you are a bother. They often claim that plumbers are too busy even for scheduled-out projects. Like, they're all busy, forever, I guess? I would have stopped dealing with them long ago but our landlord has some kind of attachment to them. The service is nice if you're always willing to wait at least three weeks and feel like you ruined the receptionists day by calling.

The team at Royal Flush fixed out sump pump issue in our basement. The term they used for the old sump system was it was a homeowner special. Ted and his team installed a sealed sump system that properly vents outside, I couldn't be happier!

This crew repaired a basement sewer line on our duplex that was pending for sale and closing in 6 days. They were prompt, efficient, and their estimate was accurate and very reasonable. The property was very clean when they were done. I would recommend them to anyone.

Helpful yet way over priced.

Absolutely terrible. The workers were fine but the woman answering the phone was snarky after I made the appt. I asked what the charges would be and she said she could not give me an estimate until the workers assessed the problem. I understood that. She didn't disclose the basic callout fee however which in my experience is normal. It was a simple job as it turned out. The callout fee was $325, total bill was $425. Their location is approx 3 miles away from my location. It was not a holiday and I offered to wait another day because of a pretty heavy wind. I have a heavily forested lot and didnt want her workers in danger. She said that was not an issue. I think my (outside) pipe had broken several days before during an extreme cold. I had the water company turn the water off at the street so I wasn't in any huge rush. I made 3 phone calls in 2 days. One to schedule the service the first day, the next day to ask if they wanted to reschedule due to the high wind, a second one to ask if they were still coming as the appt was for 1 ish and they weren't there at 3pm. She was very snarky on that last call. Nasty lady.

Cannot say enough good about Eric and this company. Had a problem that another plumber completely screwed up. Royal Flush, though busy, had an opening and came out sooner than we expected. Eric was late because of a problem at another job, but found a problem that had literally just happened, diagnosed our original problem, and stayed late to fix it all and clean up the mess the other company made. When he needed supplies he did not have on his truck, the owner of the company brought it out to him so they could finish up that same day, plus cleaned up after themselves. Excellent people. You cannot go wrong with them.

Had an issue with a utility sink pipe that made it so we could not use our washing machine, so we were hoping to get the work done ASAP. I called Royal Flush and Kim was extremely helpful, telling me that she would contact her workers in my area to confirm they could stop by - two plumbers were at my house within the hour! They were able to both replace the pipe as well as make some necessary upgrades and provide some insights as to why they were needed. Both gentleman were incredibly nice and personable. Highly recommend Royal Flush!!

I had a broken outside faucet, water under my sink and a leaky hot water heater. Ted and Casey fixed all in a few hours. Great service.

I have had 2 negative experiences with Royal Flush, particularly with regard to professionalism.

Last year, we called them for replacement of the water line to the house: The new water line initially failed inspection because they did not use silicone at the entry into the foundation. They addressed the issue, but we experienced significant leaking from this hole, causing our sump pump to fail and flood our basement. They then patched the hole with globs of hydraulic cement, which stopped the leak.

Recently, we called them to repair a leaking cold water shutoff valve on our laundry sink and to permanently remove the toilet in the laundry room:
- The plumber arrived 30 minutes late; we were charged for 4 hours, though work was only done for 3.5 (and much of the time was spent replacing the hot water shutoff valve, which they recommended doing, and it turned out to be more difficult than expected).
- After running out of time, the plumber called someone else to finish the job. The guy finishing the job apparently used one of our towels to clean up the cement he poured where the toilet was removed, and then tossed the ruined towel behind the water heater.
- Although I warned the first plumber against it, one of them let out my indoor-only cat, who needs insulin injections twice a day. She could have died if I had not found her and brought her back inside.
- For some reason, they turned off the circuit breaker to the hot water heater, which we didn’t realize until we all got cold showers the following morning.
I was given a small discount afterward, but I won’t be calling them again.

I reached out to these guys because my real estate agent highly recommended them, and they gave a quote that was nearly half the other quotes with more information and a clearer scope. I felt like I was back in the Midwest working with my neighbor. These guys were honest, very responsive, no nonsense, and did excellent work. They also worked hard to avoid as much damage to my landscaping as they could while replacing the entire sewer line from street to house. They explained everything to me in laymens terms, gave me options, and we're super respectful (no mansplaining). Also good humored. I'm definately hiring them back for a list of other needed of plumbing work. Thank you Royal Flush!! And love the clever name!

The plumber was on time, professional, and honest. I trusted his diagnosis, and his recommendations. But I am VERY upset that I was not informed in advance that the service call would run me $385, for what in the end amounted to tightening some seals with a wrench for an outdoor spigot that was leaking both outside and inside. I relayed this to him and told him I should have been informed by the person who scheduled the appointment, who simply told me that they would not give free estimates. When I tried to call her back to complain and was upset, she refused to hear me out and hung up on me. Very bad customer service.

I was forced to use Royal Flush approximately 3 years ago when my water heater went out on Thanksgiving. The owner of the company was easy to deal with and ultimately installed a water heater for us the next day. When he left everything worked fine, but he made some comment saying something like “it would not pass inspection from the City.” That left a weird taste in my mouth.

Over the next couple years random things happened in our house, and various water/heating companies were called into help. Almost all made a comment about the way the water heater was installed. Fast forward to this week...I noticed my water heater was leaking from a fitting and causing damage to my sheet rock. The fix seemed easy, but I’m not a plumber and I know my limitations. I contacted Royal Flush and spoke to “Kim” who I’ve always thought was less than average at customer service and she again did not disappoint. When I talked to her I explained the issue and she told me the water heater was covered under warrant and they could not help me out. She provided me names of other companies to use and got off the phone before I could really take everything in. I called back an hour or so later to get the names of the companies again and she acted as if I interrupted her game of solitaire. She provided me with the information and got off the phone.

I ultimately called another company out and they fixed it in 10 mins. The plumber again commented on how poor the installation was and specifically called them a “bunch of dummies.”

I guess my big gripe is in today’s climate, why wouldn’t they help me out since they installed a new tankless water heater 3 years prior? In my opinion they clearly didn’t care about my business or helping me or my family out.

I’m not trying to be a jerk. I really wish them the best and hope they continue to have success, but they lost a customer in me, my family, and my friends.

We've used Royal Flush for years, ever since we met them at a Home & Garden Show. They've always been on time, did good work, and resolved any minor issues in a fair and professional manner.

Ted and the guys were simply fantastic. Not only was their price the lowest of the 4 bids we received, they knocked out the job (and several additional tasks) in less than a day. They were friendly, attentive, and exceptional. We had them replace our sewer line, main water line, and pull out an old water heater from our basement . They left our yard looking better than they found it.
These guys will be our “go-to” from now on. Having just moved to Portland, we needed a new plumber. I’m thrilled we found Royal Flush.

Ricardo and his assistant came out yesterday to fix my plumbing issue (formerly my biggest concern in our new house). He pinpointed the problem, fixed it, and also checked out all my other plumbing concerns in the house(and fixed a few things). They were in and out in less than 35 minutes and my final bill was slightly less than the low end of the estimate for just the initial problem, which was a nice bonus! I don't know if all plumbers are like this, but it was like watching surgery ('Glue.' 'Pipe, 3, 3 and an eighth', etc) . They really had a system down to get things done quickly and didn't mess around! I would recommend.

The owner Ted is very dishonest! Do not believe anything he says, he does not honor the promises he makes.

These guys were great. Timely response, fast, friendly service, reasonable price. They were great at troubleshooting a leak, took video of what they found, and quickly fixed it on the spot. Would definitely use their service again.
