PlumbMasters is a life saver! We have had plumbing issues with our house since moving in back in August. Come to find out, the whole house was running off of the ejector pump in the basement, was not up to code, and also not properly installed. After several plumbers telling us that they could not attach our main floor to the gravity line or asking an unattainable amount for repairs, we luckily found Mr. Scott with PlumbMasters. He came to the house on a Wednesday for his initial assessment. We received our quote that very same day. To top it off, he came back the following day to walk us through exactly what he would be doing to ensure we knew what we were paying for. He contacted the city to confirm water lines, drew a permit for the repairs, etc. The following Monday, Mr. Scott was out our house doing a total system repair. He dug and properly placed a new line (in the 90+ degree heat with no complaints, must I add), replaced our sump pump, and got the city here to confirm proper installation. From initial assessment to completion, the process took 6 days. SIX DAYS!! Talk about efficient! Mr. Scott and his team practice professionalism, effective communication, offer fair prices, and are hardworking. I can not recommend them enough!

Myers was quick and 1st to respond to my need. Tim replaced my 1997 50 gallon gas WH, valves, outdoor faucets, and reworked some piping and did a great job for a good price. Not only do we have HOT water but water pressure. When you get someone with 30 years experience, just pay the man and be happy.

I’m filing my formal complaint with the State of TN. I used them for a sewer line replacement in the beginning of the year. Sewer line backed up again in within 6 months. Spent the past two months trying to resolve it with the “warranty”. In some short words Michael’s Plumbing Service’s customer service and warranty are trash. They do not communicate internally or with the customer, you’ll spend your time and energy away from your job as the project manager of the issue you paid them to fix. You can tell the Scheduler what the issue is and they’re not going to communicate it to the tech they send out so it’s all a waste of time when the tech comes out unprepared. The Service Manager is never there to answer the phone so you get the Scheduler who doesn’t know plumbing. The Service Manager, when he answers the phone, may say that something will get done, but then no one shows up, called the Scheduler and it wasn’t even on the schedule to happen. They do not show up or call to say they’re not showing up. The sewer line warranty is trash. Anyway, more words than I care of use here. Also, I now have to find a company to fix what they refuse to fix under their warranty.

11/21 update: I’ve left messages with your service manager and he never returned them. Neither I nor the tenant have any knowledge of you meeting the city out there and he works from home. As I said, the city informed me the line was my responsibility even under the sidewalk. Anything they told me I told you, to bad that didn’t go both ways. I don’t even know who you talked to that day (whenever that occurred). I have since moved on to another company with more knowledge and willing to help me get a clear sewer line. Also they replaced your out of code 4” clean out near the street with a 6” clean out (gives access to the city to use their equipment without digging up the yard). And multiple plumbers said the 4” near the street wasn’t code. Also, they met with the city and I and the tenant saw that. They provided the city with the access to the sewer line I requested you provide, per the city. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

I have used Jimmy and his sons for years. Recently, we had to have a backflow preventer repaired at our restaurant and they did such a good job, I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with others. In the past, they have helped us with leaking pipes, our garbage disposal, and installing a tankless water heaters at our home. I had a huge water leak of 29K gallons in 3 weeks that was getting worse and called a plumber since I didn’t know where the leak was outside with no visible water or pooling. The plumber was able to find the leak was somewhere underground and recommended I call Leak Detection of Tennessee and I’m so glad I did. The owner, Regan, understood the urgency and was able to fit me into his schedule the next morning (Saturday!) and even explained his pricing to me upfront so that I understood the costs prior to his arrival which is amazing when you’re already stressed out in a situation like this. He arrived on time, super professional, knowledgeable, and was very thorough in explaining to me what he was going to be doing, what he was looking for, and how he would be using his equipment looking for it. He worked efficiently in not only locating the leak, but showed me the path of where my water line was in the ground (surprisingly not straight and bent in one area) and that there were not additional leaks. He recommended I video where he had marked my water line with orange spray paint for future reference and used blue spray paint to mark the area with a square where the water leak was. The plumber arrived 10 minutes after Regan left and dug exactly where the area had been painted blue. Bingo!! The water line attachment had broken and was spraying exactly where it had been marked. In times of high stress, an owner like Regan who was able to fit me in last minute on a Saturday was such a blessing to my family. I would recommend this company with an owner that obviously takes pride in his business to anyone who has an underground leak. 24 hours without water stinks, but thanks to Leak Detection of Tennessee it wasn’t worse!
