Best Sump Pump Service in Minneapolis MN
I had a great experience working with MN Plumbing and Heating. I first had them out to fix some plumbing issues on two of my sinks---switching from flexible piping to regular piping. The plumber was on time and taught me tips and tricks throughout the process. Later in the week I had my furnace inspected and an estimate given on a new furnace. Scheduling was easy, the guys were prompt, and the installation went smoothly. No complaints! Would definitely use them again.

Jason M. replaced a pipe in my home that wasn't up to code. He also improved the angle that the kitchen sink drained into the pipe that should keep the pipe from freezing up again. Jason was so pleasant to work with. He was friendly, yet professional. He was very happy to answer my question about repairing or replacing a drippy faucet which was really helpful. I'd be happy to have him work on any plumbing issues I have in the future.

Our basement sump pump went out recently, so I called John Anderson to come out and evaluate it. After checking out the area in and around the sump pump, he replaced the broken sump pump and then showed me why it had stopped working. The previous home owners had taken a few shortcuts in the sump pump and bucket installation process. John pointed out what the proper equipment should have been and detailed two long term solutions for us. I was happy to know that John's options were NOT short term fixes at the lowest possible price. I would recommend John Anderson for his outstanding plumbing work and his straight-forward approach to high customer satisfaction. Our minds are now at ease!

This place also goes by the name Ken's Sewer Services.
Right off the bat when talking to the scheduler/operator I had a feeling this place was not at all professional. When the tech arrived with tools in a bucket I didn't feel any better.
And then the time came for the fix...
The tech didn't have a handle puller to pull my shower faucet handle off. I stupidly agreed to pay a visit fee of $80 on the weekend. I regretted it right away because the tech had no shot to fix the problem, not having the tool to get past step one.
Don't go with this place. Absolutely no reason to pick them over an Eric Nelson Plumbing or Athena or Burnomatic or Uptown Plumbing.
Didn't get the refund I was after either,
A week later (Saturday) I called them to ask for some sort of refund. The person on the other end said it was busy that Easter weekend and told me they'd look into it and call me back on Tuesday. It's now the following Monday and I never got a call. Called them and ranted as politely as I could. He offered me 10% off my next plumbing job with them. Ha.

I called Paul Bunyan Plumbing late this morning to see if they could come out to look at some problems we have with our sink and some obnoxious noises with our dishwasher. They were able to come out early this afternoon, provide friendly and efficient service, and fix the problem in less than an hour. Andrew ran through a few options for me so that I could choose the solution that best fit my budget. The real person taking my initial call combined with the same-day service was so appreciated. Would recommend this company to anyone!

Update, 08-05-2022Jaymeson Smart was a pleasure to have over to complete additional work on our ductwork. He was prompt, observant, and attentive. He explained steps in advance, completed them to our satisfaction, and reviewed to ensure we were happy. Thank you for the continued customer support!Update, 06-08-2022Jeremy Dixon performed preventive maintenance on our air conditioner and heater. He showed up on time and did a thorough job.Jeremy had a positive attitude and answered all questions we had. He even went out of his way to clean up our air conditioner which saved us the effort of having to do so.Genz-Ryan and their staff continue to impress.Update, 05-03-2022Mark was out to perform an electrical inspection of our home and quote some work we will need to have performed. He was prompt, courteous, and professional and gave a thorough assessment upon completion of the inspection. It was a pleasure getting to know him during the visit.Genz-Ryan continues to exceed our expectations and provide excellent customer service, and Mark is a valuable member of the team.Update, 01-21-2022Joey Frechette was prompt, courteous, and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our furnace and determined it was the main circuit board. Joey had to drive to get the replacement board late in the evening from a local parts supplier and returned quickly to finish the work. The service performed was a positive experience, as was the fast response to the after hours call we placed. Genz-Ryan employees all do a great job managing customers and challenges of their jobs.If there was a negative point to be made…it would be failure of a circuit board on a Carrier furnace that is two months old at most. I’m curious about the root cause of the problem on a piece of equipment that is so new.Original PostAaron provided our initial, after hours emergency consult when our furnace stopped working in the middle of the night. He expressed concern and a sense of urgency, as it was the first very cold night of the winter season. Aaron did an excellent job explaining all options, providing great advice, and even arranging financing on the spot. He gave us space heaters to use in the interim and scheduled install first thing in the morning. Our service technician, Zach, showed up early and was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain the installation process and time required for completion. It is obvious he has pride in his work and talked with my wife and I about what was replaced, proper maintenance and replacement part intervals, and answered all of our questions with confidence. The rest of the team worked together like a well-oiled machine, were friendly and considerate, and ensured smooth workflow without delays or errors. Many thanks to Aaron, Zach, Joziah, Steve, Taylor, and the rest of the team involved for a quick turnaround and stress-free experience!
