Jared came to our home for an a/c and furnace tune up. He was prepared and professional and a pleasure to speak with as I barraged him with questions. Upon inspection he provided me with some service options as well as pricing. He performed the selected services that day and walked me through how it all went.Great job Jared! For being quite young you were very knowledgeable and pleasant and made me feel our mechanicals were in good hands. Much appreciated.

What went from being an anxiety inducing nightmare turned into a customer service memory I won’t soon forget. We had to get our sub pump working and each step something else was wrong and I was quickly staring a estimate that was making me panic. Our service provider, Jeremy was amazing. Constantly fighting for discounts, calling managers and trying his best to get money off our bill. All and all, management caved in and Jeremy’s convicting came through and saved us a TON of money. Give that man a raise!

Eric came here at the appointed time and got right to work. He listened to our concerns, called his supervisor, then noted that the water pressure had dropped, and turned the heat up. He made adjustments and showed me what he was doing, and how to adjust water pressure should I need to in the future. He also showed me how to set the thermostat to a constant temperature. He was patient and polite and I appreciated the time he took to address my issue.

Jeremy inspected for us. He offered helpful tips and various levels of solution from budge bandage fix to full replacement long time fix. Very impressed from his professionalism and definitely going back for their services.

Josh and Zach did a wonderful job from the moment they walked into my home. Very informative and knowledgeable about what I needed. They went above and beyond! I also appreciated Josh teaching Zach the ropes of the job. JJ was exceptionally charming!! ;)

Luke was very nice and helpful. He explained everything in detail and was very professional.

The purpose of the appointment was to install a new gas range. However, i was told that there was not enough time and it would need to be done the next day. Today's appointment was the second one since the first was cancelled and rescheduled. Now there is a 3rd appointment to finally get the new stove hooked up after a week.

JOSH was very friendly ...he showed me great faucets for kitchen and laundry room...both with sprayers...he had lots to show us....waited for the faucets to be sent over, and then he finished the job...It was nice that he waited, he could have made an appointment for another day, but he didn't.....We always use HOMEWORKS if we something done andright.. thank you so much!!Carol and Bob

Michael was very professional, to the point and didn't waste time trying to upsell products I may not have needed. He worked fast and efficiently, and took the time to explain simple things about water heaters I never knew about that are vital to its longevity. In and out in about 2-2.5 hours, top notch service at high speeds. If only all professionals were as good. 👍

I had to have my main water valves and my hot water heater replaced.Mike came out and he was very professional and friendly. He didn’t try and sell me anything I didn’t need and very knowledgeable. Once I accepted the estimate they were out within two days; it would have been the next day but we needed the city to turn off the water.They did a great job on installation. Hands down 5 stars! This company has amazing customer service! I sent a message and within minutes I got a call back. They had a technician at my house within the hour he found the problem in mins. I wanted to move forward with getting a new waterheater and was surprised they did it the same day. From start to finish was about 3hrs and I was back up and running. Highly recommend!

We noticed a water spot on our ceiling in the basement and were very concerned. HomeWorks responded to my inquiry right away and was able to get a plumber out to us the next day. Awesome repair guy (Adam Renville)! Super friendly, knowledgeable, explained our options thoroughly and did an amazing job! The work was done same day. I also like that they charge by the job, not by the hour. Will definitely use them again if/when we need someone! Highly recommend!!

Friendly and thorough help from Brandon. He took his time to diagnose any issues and explained to me everything he found and what the causes and effects were.

Our combination heating/domestic water boiler stopped working, and we called Homework’s because they were in a local business guide and located nearby. They were prompt in arriving at our home, but then we were told the heat exchanger was shot and we needed a new boiler. It was only 12 years old!We were quoted $18k plus for a new system, 4 times what we paid 12 years ago, but after objecting to the cost, moved forward with installation because we didn’t have hot water or heat. They installed it promptly and it works fine.But; how does a $2500 boiler suddenly become $18k? They blame it on a labor shortage, shop costs, etc.. Really? If you are concerned about cost, shop around. These guys are expensive!

Your technician Josh could not have been better. Extremely nice and very informative. Did not try and sell me on anything while being very thorough in explaining my current needs and possibly future needs and improvements. Will highly recommend

Eric, the technician that did our system check up, was profession, courteous, and timely. He was able to explain to me the maintenance needed and explained it in such a way that I could understand. We have used Home Works for 3 years and I am always blown away by the services and knowledge their technicians provide.

Excellent communication in advance of arrival-from arranging the appointment, to a reminder email and text the night before, as well as a text and call when the tech was on his way. Charles, like all the technicians we have had from Homeworks, was very considerate to cover his shoes upon entering the house. He was thorough and honest, giving very reasonable recommendations, commenting but not pressuring in any way. Excellent all around.

First time customer. Adam the tech was thankfully here earlier than the original time frame. Appreciated that. Work was done and cleaned up in less than two hours. Replaced the valves and piping on the water main before and after the meter.

In March 2020, I called HomeWorks to inspect my furnace. Eric arrived and was great. We purchased a new magnetic air filter and joined their membership program, which essentially cost us zero when we factored in the cost savings given to us on the air filter as a member. I had no idea how much that membership would pay off. Fast forward to Monday, November 30th and our hot water heater had leaked water everywhere; I didn’t have a clue how to fix it. I called HomeWorks that morning and they sent Michael, a master plumber, out to our home before noon THE SAME DAY. Michael was knowledgeable and immediately diagnosed the problem, gave us a solution and an all in price (which included getting the attached pipes/ducting up to code) that was more than fair. The new water heater arrived and he installed it. He left Adam to clean up and get the furnace started. Now Adam was an apprentice or as his trainer called it, “in potty training”. When I asked him a couple of questions, he admitted he didn’t know the answers rather than make something up. By 6pm, he was still at the house as he couldn’t lite the furnace so Josh, a different master plumber, came over to help. Josh ended up replacing the burner and the furnace lit. On Wednesday, I had no hot water, so I called HomeWorks and the same day, they sent Josh again. He saw that the pilot light was out and without wasting any time, he decided to replace the water heater rather than attempt another repair. Adam was being “potty trained” so I jokingly told him not to mess on my floors as he assisted; everyone got a good laugh. Within a short time, the new water heater was installed and we again had hot water. That evening, my wife noticed a small pool of water had collected on the floor. She looked up and found that some corroded pipes which were down the line from the water heater were leaking. I called HomeWorks that night and by 7:45am, Josh and Adam arrived and replaced the copper pipes at no charge. While many might look at this situation as a cluster, I am extremely impressed at a couple of things. First, the response time and proactive communication from HomeWorks. They were at my home in less than 24 hours and texted me when the plumber was on their way. Second, Adam and Josh’s expertise, realism and sense of humor. They didn’t try to upsell me, they were factual in their evaluation and Josh never complained once about having to come back multiple times. Third, I paid only to replace the water heater. Most plumbers charge just to visit and I had a master plumber visit my home 4x at no cost to me. This is a great organization and I’m extremely grateful they have my back!

We scheduled our appointment for later on the day. Greg arrive early and was very professional. He answered all our questions and concerns. HVAC systems are not cheap but we understood all our options and accepted their quote.

We had a leak on one of four air co units installed last summer. HomeWorks came the very next day we called to fix it. Chad identified the problem right away and called for support due to the nature of the fix; Homeworks got a 2nd person to our house straight away and together they fixed the problem. They were thorough in their communication with us and left us feeling confident the problem had been addressed/solved. Great service, great communication, prompt, thorough, friendly, safe, etc.

Quick service, professional, attentive, like anything these days you don't really have a set price so feel free to haggle. After all is said and done things start to unravel. It's been 2 months and I'm greatful I've had no issues with the equipment installed. Two thing come to mind: 1.) I signed up for the $8 a month service plan which is fine but they charged the finance company I used instead of my credit card causing issues 2.) They never submitted the rebates they promised to do as a company policy

I called the 24 hour line because the main water line coming into our house sprung a leak.Initially talked to Jess. She was fantastic and helped me find contact information so I could determine if the issue was the city’s problem or mine. Multiple phone calls later and she remained helpful, patient, and kind. She followed up the next day with a text message to see if the city was able to help (which they were not). She was the able to get someone to my house within 3 hours. Alex the plumber arrived at about 1230 pm.Alex came out to our house today today and was great. Extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional. If his bosses are reading this...you should give him a raise. We would continue to use HomeWorks because of our experience with Jess and Alex.Overall...A+ due to the great people employed by HomeWorks.

Jeff from Home Works came out, gave an estimate and could even do the work the same day! He looked at a few other appliances/faucets and checked our water, made suggestions and recommendations. He worked really hard. He was polite and courteous. Project was a little more than I had planned at the moment, but they have payment options. I loved the house was put back to work together in a couple of hours.

I called right as they opened this morning after searching through several companies as I had an extremely time sensitive repair. A small leak in a water supply to a tub. We sold our house and have our inspection tomorrow. So I needed this repaired today and would’ve kept calling other companies if they said they couldn’t do it. But was assured several times they would be here. When I spoke with the initial intake they said they could get someone to me between 1030-1 and “probably sooner.” 1pm came and went with no plumber. Called at 115 to see what was happening and was told the current job was taking longer but they had 2 plumbers in my area and “one would be to me within the hour.” Called again at 220 because I still hadn’t heard from anyone or had a plumber come out. 245 I get a call “they no longer have a tech available today and would have to reschedule.” The complete lack of professionalism and follow up was astonishing. Because of their AWFUL customer service I’m now paying 3x the amount to have an emergency plumber come out. I will happily tell everyone I know what a terrible company this is.

Michael fixed a gas leak at my home, he was very knowledgeable and informative about my options. He came the same day I called and was able to fix it at the initial appointment. I would highly recommend his services to anyone!

Such an amazing experience. I have used HomeWorks a few times. Each time was wonderful. The office staff is kind and prompt returning calls. The service team is just as amazing. Always on time and respectful in our home. They walk you through each step and give you multiple options at different price points. Very knowledgeable and helpful to explaining everything to us!

Our plumber, Josh, was exceptional, as usual. We have had HomeWorks professionals handle all of our plumbing needs, including new air conditioning and furnace, and have found them to be absolute professionals. When the needs arise, we always ask HomeWorks for Josh -… He is the best.

Charles is a professional from his first comments to this last words. I found him to be able to fluently talk about everything he would be checking and he invited me to watch so I could learn about what is important in my furnace and how to best keep it running correctly.We talked about some additions that we could make to help our system run more efficiently.Personally since I know so little about HVAC systems and what makes them work it was a great education for me. Also I liked the fact that Charles was respectful and did not try to push us into purchasing something that we were not both on board with at this time.I would definitely recommend this company and Charles.

These people were so great. I had called HERO - awful. They came out and were going to charge me close to $1,000 to fix a clogged toilet. Homeworks came out within an hour and fixed the problem in minutes and charged me around $200. I couldn't have been happier with the response and pleasant experience of dealing with this service contractor.

Cole was very thorough in his inspection and evaluation of the HVAC system. He went through a number of steps to evaluate the condition of both the air conditioner and furnace. He found both system working well and within specifications. I was pleased with his thoroughness and work ethic. He did a good job.

Furnace and AC inspection conducted in timely manner. Jared explained what wa needed. The news (probable replacement required) wasn’t good, but delivered in a friendly, professional manner.

Got incorrect pricing from Grace of $49/boiler certification, the day before my appt., they bumped up the price to $328/boiler. I wanted to know why, no manager has called me for a few days now, unprofessional and clearly does not care about their reputation as a business. This has caused stress and wasted time as nothing has been resolved with this company. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Greg, Scott, and the install team at Homeworks did a great job on our ductless a/c system. They were able to begin the project the following week after our estimate, and completed the job in one day. We are very happy with our choice!

Be very careful if using this company. Always get a second opinion and a second bid. It appears that their techs are somehow compensated on selling additional services or products. I requested an inspection of the hvac as it was 6 years old and had not been serviced. I was quoted over $3,000 for cleaning and maintenance services. Homeworks also quoted $1,500 for surge protectors for my furnace. That seemed excessive. After I told the tech I would think about it he finished up and left. After that my air conditioner was not working. I called another company and they determined that no power was going to the hvac system as a wire had been unplugged. Oversight or on purpose? Not sure but suspicious. They new company performed all necessary cleaning and maintenance for $275.00. I was very happy with their work.I did have some plumbing work performed by Homeworks which I was satisfied with however I did not get a second bid which looking back on it I should have done.6-19-23 As a followup I'd like to state that the concern was not the tech's communication of options and that we did not establish a resolution. I would again reinforce that everyone get a second opinion and or quote before committing to services.

It took me minutes to schedule my appt! They came out here very quickly (same day). Communication as to who would be at my door for the service was wonderful and helped keep me in the loop as to who I should be expecting at my door (they even sent a picture)! Jeff was my technician and he was very kind, put his shoe covers on while he walked through my house, and did a quick write up of the services done. Even wrote detailed steps taken to do my repairs, on my invoice. Super helpful and I will definitely use HomeWorks again!!

Explained everything we needed, good financing, price a little higher than another company

I highly recommend HomeWorks Plumbing Heating & Air. They were extremely responsive and quick - the diagnostic and repair to our pluming was done in the same day. Our technician, Rick, was super knowledgeable, friendly, and great with our curious dog. We'll definitely use them again if needed!

I had a great experience with Homework’s Plumbing and Heating. Throughout the process I met with Jerry, Greg, Charles and Eric. They were all knowledgeable, thorough and professional. They quoted, helped finance and installed my new AC and furnace in the blistering heat. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.Update: Eric came back to finish installing my humidifier. He was on time and worked efficiently. Again had a great experience.

Homeworks sent out a tech the day after I called (earliest available appt). Willie was super professional and took the time to explain everything to me in layman's terms before allowing me to approve repairs. The repair cost did seem a bit high, but I am not familiar with these types of repairs and didn't have comparison quotes, so I can't gripe too much about that. Overall a great experience and would recommend if you are in a tight spot and need immediate HVAC help!

HomeWorks is dishonest and will try to sell services that are not needed. For example, the tech claimed the drain was plugged, said he cleared it and showed a 'before' picture. However, the HomeWorks tech did not know the drain had been cleared the week before by my plumber. The picture the HomeWorks tech showed of a plugged drain was not even from my house,The tech replaced the flame sensor on the furnace and charged $347!!! However, the furnace was working fine and I did not ask for the flame sensor to be replaced. The tech claimed it was preventative maintenance. If it was needed, I could have purchased the $4.97 part myself. I asked what his hourly rate rate was and he stated they charge by the job,, not by the hour. No wonder......In summary, HomeWorks hard sells services and plans and will charge a lot of money to fix things that do not need to be fixed. Also beware of Fake Google Positive Reviews.

Very professional, and quality work. Jeff and brad were both very friendly and got, what seemed like a large job, done quickly. They were careful when hauling appliance through our house and made sure to lay protective mats down and wore shoe covers to protect the floors. Jeff explained the job, and what was going to be done clearly and thoroughly, and listed all of our options off to us in a way that made sense. We are very happy with the work, and would recommend Homeworks to anybody who needs work done.

I love that you get a message 30 min before your technician arrives, including name of technician and a little bio. I was able to run errands close to home during my 2 hr visit window, knowing I'd get an update when he/she was on the way. Josh was professional, timely, personable, and listened to our plumbing problem and gave us a variety of solutions to chose from. I would highly recommend this company.

Jerry did a lovely job this morning. Professional, thorough, let me work but then gave me a thorough and transparent report on his findings. Talked to me in a very homeowner-to-homeowner way, which I appreciated. 5 stars to Jerry.HomeWorks - it’s really annoying to have to speak on phone with a manager at the end of every appt so you can tell me about my options. I hate phones and it feels very on-the-spot pushy and sales-y. Please just let us work with the tech, think over the report, and reach out if we need anything else.

Jeremy provided multiple options for us to consider and walked us through each, explaining step by step how we could address the issues we needed taken care of. He was very thorough and considerate of our needs. I highly recommend him and HomeWorks and will call them again.

Transparent, responsive, thorough. I’ve never had a repairman been as thorough as Jerry, and be as transparent. He talked me through every step of the way, took pictures, and emailed me a thorough report. Honestly, the guy who inspected my house when I bought it didn’t have as thorough of a report. My heat went out in the dead of winter and they got me a repairman within an hour! I maybe paid more for their service but it was worth it. I know I didn’t pay for any parts I didn’t need, and I had a functional heater 3 hours from when I called. He gave me a price for the part, and that was the price I paid. No tax, no service charge or hidden fees.

AJ arrived on time, explained in detail everything he did and also what we should look for if it happens again. He was professional and finished the job quickly.

Adam was on time. Looked at the problem from different angles. Was up front about the cost. Gave me options and pointed out helpful solutions. Very friendly and worked hard. Cleaned up the work sight well. I’m happy and satisfied.

Brad and his crew efficiently upgraded our 20 year old AC and Furnace. They were polite and diligently went about their work, respectful of their surroundings. Their final installation was neat and clean which laid the groundwork for a thorough and straight forward explanation on how to best use our system. This is not my first experience with Homeworks but they never fail to convey enthusiasm and a passion for delivering comprehensive top level service. My furnace went out this morning and after being referred I called Home Works. The operator was extremely friendly and helpful. Just 1 hr later Thomas arrived to my house to look at my furnace. He was very helpful and detailed in his review of my furnace. My furnace is 19 years old and I have not kept it properly maintained. Thomas gave me options to get my furnace up and running but also other options if I decided to install a new furnace/air conditioning unit. After some consideration between my wife and myself we decided to get a whole new system and he helped us decide on the best option for us. They are currently installing the new furnace and should have a warm house again by tonight. Highly recommend them

Josh is professional experienced and on time. Got quotes before committing to jobs I needed. Pricing seems high though which is only reason for rating business as 3 star.

I had a a faucet leak that was pretty bad. My faucet was pretty much turned on the entire time while being off. The plumber Josh Eicher came to my home and within 5 minutes he identified the problem and started repairs. The delivery driver twitch was extremely quick. Jimmy John's freaky fast delivery doesn't even compare to Twitch and his excellent customer service. As soon as twitch showed up they both worked fast and my faucet was fixed in a matter of 20 minutes . I will always ask for Josh Eicher and Twitch if I need any more plumbing work done. They were amazing!

Jeremy has installed the water heater, water softener, sump pump, kitchen faucet and garbage disposal! He is going to make my tub into to a walk-in shower next. His work is excellent and he is exceedingly knowledgeable. If grade A+ professional service is what you are looking for call!

He was a nice guy who gave me three options. I went with a new toilet installation and before I knew it I had a new toilet. Hard work always pays off in my book.

This is the third time we have had Home Works to our recently purchased home and each time has been great. They take the time to show and explain what is happening and figure out the least costly way to address any issue. We do subscribe to their $8/month service and it is so worthwhile. It’s nice to have the annual check of things covered.

I got a call from HomeWorks offering a free inspection of my HVAC system. I got curious and decided to see what they would try to upsell. They found several things that were terribly wrong and needed immediate repairs, or my AC and furnace would break and leave me without heat or cooling. I got a second opinion from a reputable HVAC specialist, and none of these turn out to be remotely true, didn't make any sense, or required simple dusting, etc. But my estimate from HomeWorks was for $3,336.00. Never again.

Ryan did an excellent job today! Ryan was able to diagnose exactly what I needed to keep both my air conditioner and furnace in top shape! He was so friendly and efficient! It was just a joy to have everything maintained at the same time. Nadia

Nate did a great job. We had the 22 point inspection performed on our furnace and AC. He answered all of my questions in great detail instilling confidence in their level of quality. He was able to provide quotes for any recommended service, but wasn't forcing the service on me which I also appreciated.

Willie showed the quality of a good professional and his politeness is contagious.

Michael did an excellent job installing a new garbage disposal at my house. Being new to MN he educated me on the labor pricing for a licensed plumber and also offered a budget friendly solution. His friendliness and professionalism will definitely make me call Home Works in the future.

We had Michael out to our Home to replace AC AND Furnace. The level of knowledge and professionalism was beyond out of this world!He worked hard to get us the price we needed to fit our budget and the equipment that will fit our home perfectly. We would suggest Homeworks to our family and friends . Great service ,Timely and personable .

I scheduled an appointment on a Wednesday for the following Saturday. I changed plans so I would be home. One half hour before the service man was supposed to be here, someone called and cancelled. They said they were too busy to make it to my home. I will never, ever use this service again. Why they would make an appointment and cancel on a moments notice is beyond anything I've ever experienced. They even confirmed the day before they'd be here. Be careful when you make an appointment for a service call. Unbelievable!!!!

Water heater stopped working and within 3 hours we had a replacement plus a water softener. Very pleasant and professional!

This is not a reliable com0any! They said that they will send a 15 veteran to do a tune up on my hvac system... Well it was working fine after they took it apart it stopped... They gave me a repair bill of $3700.00After I accused them of a bait and switch, they send a supervisor who came and got it running in 10 sevonds??seconds??? They called me back and said they want to amend my experience and I said ok... Well again a let down, they never showed up!!! Stay away from this company!

Carlos and his team were polite, personable, and available to answer any questions I had. They worked tirelessly on replacing a 60+ yr old boiler and old water heater with a beautiful efficient modern piece of brilliance. I threw his team for a loop when I requested for the setup to be in an entirely different area which was going to add more work than originally expected. Carlos didn't flinch. He made a phone call to verify that the placement of the system in the new requested area was possible and it all turned out beautifully.Thank you Carlos, Lamar, Jessie, Andy and those who I missed during install. You all are the face of your craft and your company.

HomeWorks arrived at our home promptly in the morning after a broken pipe mishap overnight. They quickly assessed the situation, offered solutions, made the repair, then also evaluated our 17-yr old water heater and efficiently replaced it with a new one. They communicated well personally, as well as with courtesy phone calls, texts and emails, wore masks, laid out floor coverings and removed all the debris from the repair and replacement. They were exceptionally professional and we will certainly contact them the next time we have plumbing issues!

Had our HVAC system installed a few years ago. Easy company to work with. Had an issue with system and had HVAC tech out today. Explained the whole process, very efficient and helpful. Great experience overall with company.

Got a call from said company offering complimentary check-up on humidifier purchased in September 2018. The phone call suggesting the check-up did say it was a service they offered, free of charge but we were never aware of such service.We agreed to take them up on their offer.The technician gave us full load of things wrong with our furnace and with to an estimate upward of $500.00.We were to accept their estimate and schedule repairs. A couple of days after he came through, our furnace went out.Called them out to check what’s going on as they were the last ones to take a look at the furnace.Then there was a story of cracked blower and a bunch of mumbo jumbo. He was to replace a capacitor to the tune of $299.00. Even after that was replaced, he said our problems will persist and we we be safer to replace the furnace.We then decided to call HomeSmart. They came in, changed capacitor in less than a half hour, furnace was back working.I hate to make accusations but these are the companies that rip honest and hard working citizens. They ought to be ashamed of themselves.Concocting a story to swindle hard working citizens is beyond deplorable. They need to be stopped somehow.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are WAY overpriced for the value you get. I had been told my water heater was going out. They quoted me a price of $2,500 dollars ridiculous. I was able to buy one for $450 and install at $350. Upon me getting this quote i posted this on Nextdoor to find out if other folks had issues. There were like 5 other neighbors who had them do a furnace clean and tech said they needed to replace furnace and red tagged it. DO not use them they were reported to MN Attorney General for over pricing products. If you hire a service company ask if they charge hourly and for referrals and always get a second opinion.

Appreciate Homeworks scheduling Chris to come out Saturday morning to troubleshoot a NEST thermostat installed earlier that week. Chris did a great job determining what the issue was. Kept me informed as he went thru the repair and stayed to insure the furnace/thermostat was working correctly. Awesome job. I’m a new Homework customer and will continue to use and recommend them.I would also recognize the customer service rep that took my call for the callback and offered to deliver space heaters until the service tech was available.

Larry showed up from Home Works and Plumbing to perform a furnace Tune Up and immediately proved his exceptional customer service skills by being honest about his service right away. He was immediately genuine upon entering our home, saying he has been in this field for almost 40 years and stated that his top priority was our safety within the home. He then took an appropriate amount of time examining our furnace and after he was done, he showed me pictures of everything he examined today. He showed me what was properly functioning and what needed attention. Pictures of both. He did not push the sale of services more than he knew he should have. It was clear his focus was on our knowledge and our safety. It felt like he treated us as friends, rather than clients. I would recommend Larry to any household. Thank you all for your help

I have used Home works before and was pleased with the service. I think for the most part Compaired to other companies their prices are a bit more resonable. Today Rick came out to find and fix a leak. Customer service excellent. Workmanship excellent. Really nice to have a happy friendly person helping me on what was a very bad day for me. Will definitely use their service again.

I was impressed with Homework’s from the initial call. The woman answering the phone was courteous, kind, and walked me through the process of scheduling, etc. After scheduling, a confirmation notice was sent and I was notified every step of the way through out the process.The morning of the service I was given a phone call notifying me the technician was on his way and his estimated arrival time.When Charlie arrived I was very impressed with his manner. He was courteous, positive, and happy. He stated he loved his job and was so excited to tell me all good things about his company. So refreshing! Not only did he do an excellent job, he was so very personable and interesting. I wish there were more Charlie’s in our world. In summary my experience with Homework’s and Charlie was exceptional.!

Charles and Chad installed a furnace and AC. They were polite and informative during the whole process and made sure to let me know everything they were doing. After the work was done, they left the area in better shape then it was when they started.Eric came on 5/7 to finish hooking up the AC from the previous installation. He was on time and very professional, and when done explained everything he did so there were no questions.

Adam inspected our water heater and determined that it is 2 years old.He performed maintenance (drain and flush) on it and also tested our water and made suggestions on filtration and water softening equipment.Jerry inspected our furnace and AC and determined that they are both over 20 years old and are approaching the end of their useful lives. The CO2 readout on the furnace was still within safe limits, but it is approaching an unsafe level.We made a follow-up appointment with the company for an estimate on replacing both the furnace and AC units.

Our main drain was plunged after having a brother week end at the house. I tried snaking my self with no success. Called home work and The girl that answered the phone was very professional and communicate very well about The process of being on the schedule, send me a text confirming my appointment. I got a range tween 7 PM and 10 PM when someone can come out. They thought so we can be there by 830 then I was updated by the technician Phil. he would be here by 920 which is very appreciated knowing he was run late. I showed them the problem he communicate what he would do whatever cost he was in and out in about 40 minutes at $350 very impressed . Would highly recommend them and we called them again.

Homeworks has been very responsive, professional, experienced and nice to work with. My previous HVAC company no longer exists, and I was referred to HomeWorks. My furnance needed to be replaced in December, then my AC in June. I've had the same friendly, experienced installer with both units. I had the same with the technician.I am part of the HomeWorks program, which gives me discounts on services.

Took it upon themselves to affix stickers on my units without my permission on units I did not have them service. Not only that, over top of information that I chose to have placed there that is now covered and ruined.

Very personable, discussed our needs and he provided options based on our level of service desired and within our budget range. Service would have been done same day, but was scheduled a few days later due to the time of day. Jeremy and a colleague both showed up at the time stated this morning. It took a fraction of the time to complete having a second plumber on-site. The job supervisor also visited our home to verify everything was going as planned. The professionals in this company have been helpful, kind and understanding of my comments and questions. I found that my needs were met and many of my wants were answered, even though they were not providing the service, they took time to answer my questions and make sure I actually understood what they were saying. No rush and no hassle, just good solid recommendations and, of course, a good sales pitch to use their company for the next things that may need doing :). Great stuff, all around, would recommend to anyone needing services.

Fast, called at 5pm to make an appointment after discovering no hot water and at 8:30 the next morning I had an estimate in hand. Only a few hours later had a new water heater installed. Very professional in both presentation (from the initial estimate to the final walkthrough) and service (installation looked good as far as I can tell and they cleaned up everything when finished and hauled away the old heater).

HomeWorks came out to my house for a complementary ac and furnace inspection. Several problems needed fixing and the technician was able to explain everything easily and able to complete fixing the problems the same day. The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. Brian did what the ad described as a furnace tune up. He was cordial and explained outce of the service. However, at the end he noted a service need to re calibrate the gas valve. I thought something like that would be included in a tune up. But I guess that is more of a repair service in the HVAC world.

I had a leak in my house that could not be seen. Josh did a great job evaluating how much the cost would be with walls in place. Called back to have Josh perform the work after we had walls taken down from water leak; Josh reevaluated the cost explaining everything in detail what new costs would be. Very professional work!

Excellent service. I was able to schedule a tuneup quickly at a great rate. Eric was very knowledgeable and yet had the patience to explain the basics to me. We’ve had the team from Home Works out several times over the years but most recently needed an assessment for a busted furnace. The sales rep ran through all of our options from repair to replacement, along with financing. Everything was clearly outlined for us and there was never any pressure to make a decision. The install team was excellent, and super fast, doing a full walkthrough on the new unit. From the sales team to the techs and installers, it’s been a really positive experience.

The new ductless A/C works great and came at a great price. The staff at Home Works has been great to work with all the way from front office, to sales, and installation. The guys onsite were professional, courteous, and did a quality installation in one day. I am very pleased!

Water heater went out. Called for repair late Saturday, they got back to me quickly, and were out early Monday. After inspection of water heater, we were presented with quite a few options. It’s a sales pitch to an extent, but Jeremy was totally not high pressure. There were several issues which we could have put on bandaids, but in the end, decided to replace the water heater due to age. Once we agreed on a new one, a call was placed and another tech was out with replacement very quickly. Install was fast and efficient. Old heater taken with them.We had never used HomeWorks before. Communication with all involved was great. Service great. They are a bit more expensive than what we anticipated, but having them out quickly after initial call, and a quick install, we went with it.The only reason I didn’t 5 star it was the price.

I was absolutely blown away with the service I was provided today. Jeff one of their service technicians did such an amazing job. He not only helped calm me down when I was getting anxious about the cost but talk me through the various plans He was amazing. He did a great job at entertaining my dog as well while we waited for the water softener to arrive. I would recommend them to absolutely anybody looking for this type of service and I will only use them going forward.

Josh was amazing. He was punctual in arriving and very friendly.Our German Shepherd who is very protective even liked him!He quickly evaluated our problem (which was more complex than we thought) and was very professional as he explained what he was doing and why. My technician, Adam, was extremely professional as well as compassionate, kind and knowledgeable. He had a complicated job of replacing a stop valve to the toilet. I have an old house and the stop valve to the toilet was rusted, stuck. He added a stop valve to the hot and cold water pipes to the sink in the basement. When he was completed with the job....my main stop valve to the water coming in from the city, it chose to break at that time. He had to replace that as well. This was definitely not in the original plan.It was obvious that the job was not an easy task. But he did an excellent job. I get extremely stressed over things I know nothing about. Also as a single woman, I am not comfortable with people I don't know coming into the house. Adam was very professional. I cannot emphasize enough just how talented and professional he was. He also had empathy for the situation I am in secondary to my health issues and financial concerns.I would recommend Adam to anyone needing a great plumber. Adam is definitely a keeper and anyone who has him in their employ are very lucky and blessed. When our air conditioning went out, I was very grateful that HomeWorks could send someone out same day. However, the experience quickly soured as soon as I told them I didn’t want to jump into their quoted $1700 repair. They specified in their quote that they couldn’t guarantee that the suggested work would fix the AC, and it could need further repairs/complete replacement. Given the high price, I said I was happy to pay the diagnostic fee and I would call them back after getting quotes and talking to my partner. Instead of leaving, they called their supervisor who proceeded to essentially bully me. The phone call went on for an uncomfortably long time, despite my persistence. Over the next week, we shopped around for a more honest service. The second company was able to fix our AC the day they came out with what they said was an $8 part. I called HomeWorks back and asked to speak to someone about what occurred and how I felt rudely pressured by the predatory supervisor, but my call was never returned. Overall, I am out the diagnostic fee and was without AC for a week as a result of their incompetence. The second company didn’t charge us anything, they felt so badly about our experience.

Carlos and Lamar installed a need furnace and air conditioner in our home today. They were very professional. They answered all our questions and protected our carpets and floors from damage. Lamar took the time to show us how our new thermostat worked. We are completely satisfied and would recommend Home Works to a friend.

My 47-year-old central A/C unit finally gave in and needed to be replaced. Through a referral service, I was connected with HomeWorks to give an estimate on a replacement. They were insistent on sending a service tech, at a charge, first before doing a quote for new work. I refused numerous times, I already had another company diagnose, all I needed was a quote for a new installed unit. After I thought they understood, I get an email confirmation for 'my service tech appointment.' Again had to argue not what I need or want. Finally got them to confirm it was for only a new unit quote. The person they sent was quite new on the job, he said been there two weeks, but they trained him well as to how upcharge - walking through the inside he is 'finding' all these things needing replacement, most having nothing to do with A/C unit - funny all the other companies I had give quotes found none of these things.When he was going over the quote and goes in for the close he says Is there anything the would prevent you from going with us? I said Yes - all the bad reviews you have on-line, how do you explain those. His response was, Why did you have us out here if you already knew about the bad reviews to which he left and said he would have someone else call me. Call never happened.

WARNING - Homeworks is not trust worthy. I had them out to identify a leak in my furnace. Homeworks told me the collector box and feed tubing was heavily clogged beyond repair. Homeworks said it will be $499 for the new parts and I provided a credit card. A few minutes later I was told they are unable to get the part. He said all suppliers are out of it and unable to order it. Then said my only option was to buy a new furnace and had their sales person come out. Next thing you know I'm spending $14,000 on a new furnace. After the Homeworks tech (Rath) and sales person left I had a bad feeling, none of this made sense. I called another company and they found the collector box part immediately but only 1 in stock and sent me a picture to confirm it was the same part, and it wasn't. Turns out the Rath the Homeworks tech was calling the drain trap a collector box. Not only did he misinform the name of the part that is needed he lied that it could not be found. The other company I used cleaned the feeding tubes and the drain trap. No replacement of parts needed. Leak was actually caused by something else entirely. Homeworks lied about the name of the parts I suspect because they knew it was harder to find but if I looked for it on my own. Then they tried to cheat me out of $14,000. I spoke with Scott who says he is the manager and he apologized and would speak with his tech and sales person and would refund my $499 I provided for the unneeded and incorrect part. I email Scott (he requested) the write up/invoice provided by the other company exactly what was the issue was. I never heard from Scott after this and its now been 2 weeks and they have not refunded me the $499. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Also, be sure to look at Yelp reviews.

Had a great experience. Had a AC tune up. Great price. Jared was great at his job, and vary thorough. After his inspection and tune up. Went through each item with me when done. Gave me all my options and prices. Did not pressure me to make any quick decisions . Great personality and knowledgeable at his job. I will definitely use them again and tell others.

I had a routine maintenance check done on our AC unit. The service person was knowledgeable and thorough. I learned important aspects of how to care for the unit as well as products that can extend the life of the AC. There was no pressure to purchase. I was left with options that I could get done at any time.

Both Greg and Scott were wonderful to work with. Both explained the process in depth.Technicians, Charles and Chad, were top notch. They both were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Charles and Chad did an amazing job of communicating with me throughout the entire process. They answered all of my questions and did a great job cleaning up.

Our first experience with HomeWorks, who were recommended by the former, now out of business, furnace company that we had used. The tech showed up on time and thoroughly checked the furnace and A/C. He explained, and showed me what he was doing for as to the furnace work. Their membership plan was also explained, and we signed up for that as well. Hopefully any future work will be done as well.

Matt was courteous and very professional. I have had him perform services on my furnace two years ago when I bought my house and he was very professional, courteous and took his time as well then. I prefer to have him come back if I had to have any more services done. Hopefully I won’t!

Great service, the technician Jeff was very good and helpful. They were able to get someone to my home within a day. But the pricing markups were pretty bad. $300 for a $40 anode rod, among others. $2200 for hot water heater install when most others offer $1500

I contacted this place just to get an estimate on installing a humidifier. Although I did not go with their bid, (I still don't have one installed), they still gave me a free AC inspection. Nate, our technician, was very friendly, very conscientious about wearing a mask and putting on shoe coverings, and very knowledgeable about the job he was performing. He replaced my air filter for my furnace for me when he saw that our current one was caked with dust (even though I had my vents and ducts supposably cleaned 8 months ago). He wrapped my air conditioner line even though I just had a new air conditioner installed 2 months ago and that company failed to complete their job properly. I will definitely be calling home works again in a couple months to have my in line humidifier installed. Thank you Home Works, thank you Nate, thank you woman in the office that scheduled my appointment and kept me informed when I had questions.Kathyp.s. UPDATE AS OF 8TH SEPTEMBER 2019: Let it be known that I am finding HomeWorks to be on the mend and up and up! Today's tech, Brent Genz, was punctual, polite, and professional. I liked his performance so much that I requested that he be sent on a regular basis as of now. THAT REMAINS TO BE SEEN because continuity of techs has been an ongoing issue thus far in my experience. So, all said and done, I will increase their rating to four stars. I am sure it is just a matter of time before they are a full five-star business for me!I have consciously raised it from 1.5 stars to 3 ONLY because of Joe V, the technician today. Really impressed with him and wouldn’t want anyone else to service our home in the future. This company, especially their front office, needs to FINALLY learn that one doesn’t get a second chance to create a first impression. Will see how they perform in the future before calling it quits!

I won a free boiler check-up and was a little worried I'd be letting someone come to my house to tell me all the problems I would have to have fixed immediately and quoting repairs for ridiculous amounts of money. Thomas, the technician, was actually really professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Not only did he give me free home maintenance advice unrelated to the already free boiler check-up he was doing, he at one point pulled out a screwdriver and fixed a loose doorknob in my house. He explained everything with the enthusiasm of someone who really seems to care about and enjoy what they do.As expected, he found a couple issues that he recommended addressing, but he never seemed overly eager or made me feel pressured to immediately agree to a repair. Due to past experiences with other companies finding ridiculously expensive and unnecessary repairs, I always try to get a second opinion or at least do my own research, so I won't comment on the repair quotes given to me. But if all of HomeWorks' technicians are as knowledgeable and professional as Thomas, I'd definitely recommend them for at least an estimate on any repairs you might need.

My dad, Jeff had Home Works to his home for a job he thought would've taken hours. The technician, Jeremy, assured it was a job he could do in less than 2 hours, and he kindly listed the options for the job to be completed with value and ease. The team at HomeWoks are true top professionals. We woke up to a failed water heater. I contacted them at 8:00 and by the end of the day I had a new full system way way better than the original installed by the Builder. Jeremy completed a full assessment and presented me with a number of options. I asked them to go with the platinum plan and fully rebuild my system. I have to say Jeremy was a true artist in how he crafted a very space efficient solutions. With the help of Isaiah and Brandon, they far exceeded my expectations and did an excellent and professional job. They were super carful of the house and carpet and kept everting very clean. Jeremy kept me posted as the job progressed and walked me through everything at the end. I will be calling WomeWorks again for any of my needs in the future.

Very disappointed with this company! Made an appointment, someone called to confirm, when I told her it was a group home, she said they do not service group homes. I asked why, she told me it was a 'company policy'. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she told me I could only speak with her. I hung up and called another number and when I asked that person, she told me it was due to 'insurance'. I again asked to speak with someone about the policy/insurance, but was told there was no one for me to speak with. I am not sure why it matters what type of home it is, as it is a residential home, and I made an appointment for a residential furnace. Felt very discriminatory!

Our furnace was 17 years old. It did need some repairs and while we could have done them we opted for a new system so we wouldn’t have to worry about a broken furnace in a MN winter. Did we need it now. I don’t know. Was the cost fair? I think so but didn’t price check and went with what I thought was reasonable. They were great and went over everything. I never felt pressured to buy anything and always felt the decision lied with me. I’m happy with our decision and with their customer service and professionalism. I will use them in the future.

Josh did a very thorough job. He was persistent in looking at many locations to ensure he found all of the leaks. He had to deal with tough conditions because the pipes were very close to the duct work, so he had to be creative to find ways to access and fix them. He was courteous and explained everything very well.7/9 - Josh did a great job of installing and explaining the water softener as well as installing a new garbage disposal. Further, he helped me work with the refrigerator appliance service man to determine what happened to it due to the cold.8/7/19 - Peter did a thorough job of assessing our HVAC system to determine the best system to recommend for our home. I appreciate that he explained why he was making the recommendation.

Brian W. was my tech this time. Have used Home Works for a few years now and all techs I’ve had have been nice, down to earth people who are good at their job. Brian came out for furnace maintenance. Found some problems and told me options without being pushy. The manager he called before he left my house tried to get me to straight up replace my furnace on the spot by trying to scare me with future price increases and assumed I could just buy a furnace like it’s nothing. Aside from this particular manager, Home Works is still a solid choice!

I had A/C installed during winter of 2020. Unfortunately the furnace stopped working during the install, which was likely a coincidence. The heat sensor was bad. We went a night without heat after they spent the day diagnosing the problem. They provided space heaters for the night and had someone come out first thing in the morning. This spring I went to test the A/C and it wasn't working. They sent out a technician and he discovered there was a split wire not getting enough voltage and the refrigerant was low. Despite everything that happened I think they have very skilled techs and handled the situation professionally. Always room for improvement. I'd still recommend their services, though.

Tyler was knowledgeable, personable and professional. He thoroughly explained the water pressure/softener problem, repair process, and cost. I appreciate when plumbers, electricians and other service contractors are good at their job and enjoy what they do.

After being a HomeWorks customer for multiple years, our latest experience left us feeling very negatively about the company.During our seasonal boiler tune up, our technician flagged a variety of issues that needed to be addressed, specifically, that our chlorine level was elevated and that our boiler was leaking carbon monoxide, which led us to believe that the work needed to be done immediately (which it was, prior to them pulling a permit).After having the work done, we connected with several other plumbers/companies to get a second opinion as the cost was high for the work performed. Multiple sources indicated that the cost for the work was exorbitant and that they were skeptical with that work itself was as critical as the technician led us to believe.We contacted HomeWorks to raise our concerns and were continually handed off to different people, each saying they needed to connect us with their manger or other team member. We did not receive calls with the information we were looking for until we threatened to dispute the claims. At that point we were told that the company has taken people to small claims court before for doing so, and the manager would contact us by end of day to discuss the situation. We did not receive a call from him at any point, and when we called to follow up we were told he had left for the day.In the end, we did not dispute the claims and paid for the service, but overall feel the experience was predatory. The tactics used to get us to agree to the service immediately felt dishonest, the pricing unreasonable in comparison to competitors, and follow up experience to be extremely lacking.The work may very well have needed to be done in such an urgent manner and the company may have had good reasoning for the pricing, however the way they handled the situation made us feel that they lack honesty and integrity.

Everything was done as described. Everything is working properly now.
My concerns were assessed and I was given good advice. Michael came back today and fixed a leak that appeared to have been triggered by yesterday's work. I appreciate the quick response!

Luke always gives clear explanations of the checks he's made on my furnace or air conditioner. His recommendations are based on the information about problems he's noted and shown me. Consequently, I feel confident in making my decisions about maintaining my appliances.

I have two experience with HomeWorks within a time span of 1 week. On Monday I had no hot water coming in so I called HomeWorks. Everyone was just awesome, from the receptionist to Jeremy the master plumber who came out. I enjoyed the bio about him that they emailed me to notify that he was on his way. He got here, diagnosed the issue and then fixed it right there and then for 600 bucks (frozen pipe was the culprit). A bit expensive but it got the job done. I was more than happy.Fast forward to Saturday now, I realized my drain in the tub wasn't draining. I tried using a snake and it felt like it was hitting ice so I assume it was another frozen pipe drain. I called HomeWorks again since I had such a good first time experience with them, they sent out Shawn. Shawn came, diagnosed the issue (frozen pipe) but he then told me he wouldn't be able to fix the issue until next Monday and it would be a 750 dollar job. I asked him, Well, youre already here, why cant you fix it now? What was the use of driving all the way here then? and when Jeremy fixed it last time it was only 600 dollars?. He cut me off right away and said he doesn't know who Jeremy is and that Shawn is from 1 hour Rooter who just works with HomeWorks.I ended up paying him 40 dollars for coming out to diagnose the issue only. I just don't understand the point of coming all the way out but not having the time to fix the issue? This wasn't what I was hoping to get when I called. They could've just told me over the phone that they wouldn't have anyone to come out and fix it until Monday instead of sending Shawn over to only diagnose the issue and walk away without working on what I had originally called for. The manager ended up calling me after I made a complaint and offered to bring out someone for a discount. Im glad the manager cared enough because I was pretty heated. Frozen pipes are no fun.

The company on the phone was kind and provided good and quick service, and the process to book an estimate appointment went well. It was especially nice to be able to see how far away my plumber was online before they arrived. However it was strange when 3 trucks arrived for a simple estimate. And then the plumber that arrived was not the plumber both the women on the phone and my text message notifications said would be arriving.The plumber was helpful but I definitely felt more like I was being sold to rather than informed. He really pushed the service plan and even after firmly stating our disinterest he proceeded to add in the plan to our total estimate costs anyway, which I didn’t appreciate.The services were explained clearly and the estimates were easy to understand but the experience as a whole was slightly off. We will most likely be using another company because we have received lower quotes elsewhere.

This was just the first of hopefully multiple services that we will use. Michael did a wonderful job at explaining everything. Was very personable and very honest. It was extremely nice to have someone you're comfortable with. The company from what I see makes you comfortable from the very first text that they send you. Good job a++

Such a great experience. The office calls you every hour during your time window to give you an idea when they will show up. My plumbing issue was complicated and this was my 4th person out. The plumber knew exactly what to do, who was in charge or what between me and my association and was kind enough to talk to both my realtor and my association to explain the situation so I didn't have to regurgitate the information and try to sort it out. Very professional and extremely knowledgeable. So happy I called them.

The entire experience from scheduling to the actual visit is great. Brent showed up on time, completely professional, pleasany and thorough. He answered all my questions clearly, provided detailed and complete documentation of the work, and offered to follow up with me on Service quotes he couldn’t give me on the spot as he had to consult with another colleague. This was a 3 for 1 tune-up special I was able to take advantage of. I have 2 other projects that I am likely going to use Home Works for now.

I had Homeworks come out to look at an overtaxed AC unit at my house. It had overheated during the heat wave and worked intermittently. Justin did a full diagnostic and identified several issues. He encouraged me to reach out to the company that did maintenance work on the system last year as that seems to have directly caused a major issue - that other company should handle my repair for free. I appreciated the honesty and transparency. He answered my questions and doubly encouraged me to push the other company on the repair, making it clear there's no way anything else could cause this issue.

Jerry Soung is the best boiler guy around. He is knowledgeable, professional and always honest. He will never try and upsell you on products you don’t currently need, but will educate you on the options available so when the time comes and you need to replace something, you are better suited to make the decision that is best for you and your situation.

Michael was extremely rude and condescending the second he walked through the door. He was overly domineering, and when we attempted to ask any sort of questions to be steered in the right direction, he was flippant and dismissive. Overall, if Michael is a representative of this company, I will never call back or choose to work with them again. Maybe Michael should take a course in people facing jobs, and how to talk to customers.

Update: our A/C finally gave up the ghost, and because I had such a good experience with them last time, they were the first place I called to diagnose our issue. They were just as friendly and helpful as I remember.They arrived promptly, were very courteous, and relatively quick in replacing our water heater. A very tidy install, and they cleaned up after they were finished.

Michael Eisele did a great job breaking down what needed to be done in order to have a water softener installed into my home. I had gotten a previous quote from a competitor and I'm glad that I got multiple before going with my first option. My only complaints are that Michael had to leave as the installation was starting and his apprentice Chris Oigard stepped in to wrap it up. I'm not sure when or who did it however the laundry drying rack I had in the room was knocked down and broken in two pieces, the handle on the dryer must have been knocked at some point since its super loose now, and the door to that room was never put back on. I just didn't appreciate going back to the room once they left and finding my things broke rather than them telling me.

My technician, Jared, is a personable young man who communicated the issues to me clearly. Very likable and efficient! (He even killed the wasps trying to nest inside my AC unit!) He booked the next service I need in order to complete the job and has impressed me enough to join their program, The Works Plan. I am very glad that I tried this company and will continue to do so. Prices seem reasonable (and fair) to me for the amount of inspection and work that Jared did.

Brian came and did an Evaluation of what I needed as to Air Conditioner and Furnace and went over the possible choices. I'm very satisfied with his Assessment. I believe he understands my position as being Retired and on a fixed Income. Hopefully we can come to a final Price for me and move forward.

After 19+ years of service our furnace quit again, a couple days ago. One call to Home Works and Billy Palm came out immediately. Found a TON of things bad on it. cracked heat exchangers, many out of code gas fitting, no quick fix. Estimates for repair came to 1/2 the cost of a new system. Don was summoned to help use pick a new Carrier heating and AC system within our budget, yes an unexpected investment but I knew it was coming. We were given 4 Temp heaters for the night, they worked great. Brad Claycomb, Dave and Chad were by the next day to do the install and they even let me help, that was fun.HomeWorks are very professional, thorough and a joy to work with. My sump pump failed and Adam was more than handy at resolving the problem and even put me in touch with a restoration company to take care of the water damage. Work was completed expertly and confidently. 10/10 would recommend. I hear their HVAC side is pretty great, too.

I was referred by a friend and I thought they are an honest but turn out they are not honest. First I called them to check on my water softener. On the same visit they told me to replace the water softener and also my electric water heater need to replace. I make a bad choice I hired them on the spot without checking for second opinion pay them $3,743 for water heater and water softener. Then after I subscribe for tune up and they come back to do furnace tune up. At this visit they said I maut replace 9 years old furnace because there was a lokage of CO. He tuned off the gas line and I was told to turn on at my own risk. I was terrorized but I choose to tun on. Then I hired another company to come out and check if it is really need to be replaced. The other company found zero problem with the furnace they turn off the gas line and I was told to turn by myself at my own risk. I was really really very disappointed with their unprofessionality. I will not every let then come to my home even fo free not paying them.

Jeff checked our water heater and gave us lots of options for replacement. Thomas was very helpful and upfront with the issues we needed addressed for our furnace and a/c. Lots of options and no pressure to buy a specific system. Brian and his team did a great job with the water heater, furnace and a/c installation. His team was courteous, efficient, and thorough.

Chad, Dustin, and Cole came out and had my new Furnace and AC installed in 5 hrs. Job was done well and they were very professional throughout the entire time. Overall a very positive experience and I'm happy with the new equipment.

Very knowledgeable and friendly service. They were able to come within a few hours and complete the work in a timely manner for a reasonable price.Edit: I used HomeWorks again to install a tankless water heater. It was the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. The plumber lied to my face about price, which services were included, and aspects of the water heater itself. To top it off, they had to return a couple days later because it was leaking. This is because they had a junior member of their team install it, not the plumber himself who claimed to be the senior expert or whatever.When I called to complain about my experience, the manager even had the audacity to offer me a discount on the service that the plumber said on multiple occasions would already be included in the ridiculously high bill.I'm never using HomeWorks again. Ever. Doesn't matter what for. I don't want to deal with a company that lies, overcharges, and then obviously does not care at all about customer satisfaction.

So far we've only met Tyler and he was great . Can't wait to get installation tomorrow! They showed up first thing in the morning and went right too work all were very professional and efficient kept us posted as to how it was going throughout the day , when they finished they walked us through how everything works . The plumber was very knowledgeable. They gave me options with a breakdown of prices. The plumber was courteous and professional. He showed me maintenance I could do on my dishwasher myself to prevent it from leaking around the seal. I’m having two old hot water heaters removed and they’re installing a new one the very next day.

His coworker assured me that we were lucky to have Lamar doing rhe work because he was the best to do the work.We had Home Works previously do work that they recommended to increase the capacity of the return duct to increase the efficiency and volume of the hvac. After they completed the work, we noticed a substantial increase in volume of air flowing out of our vents. It was amazing, glad we did it. I was skeptical, but these guys know their stuff!Steve showed up on time and got right to work doing the diagnostic work to determine that there were two leaks in our system, fortunately, they were in the e coil? and we only had to replace one piece of equipment.Lamar and Eric showed up on time the next morning and got right to work removing the faulty equipment which was almost 30 years old and fit the new coil into the existing ductwork which required some retrofitting.The supervisor, Billy showed up to help out and double check all pf our settings. Great work from very professional and friendly techs.They recharged the system and when they left, the ac was blasting cold air.

Explained that overall the furnace was in good operating condition, but there were a few items which were not operating at peak efficacy. HomeWorks installed a new furnace 14 months ago. I recently noticed that if the AprilAire humidifier was calling for water, the humidifier water was running even though the heat was off. Water is supposed to run only when the heat and/or the blower is on, so water was being wasted. I called HomeWorks. Two days later Stephen came to our house and changed the wiring to fix the problem. There was no charge to me, which shows they stand behind their work. Stephen was professional, with a pleasant personality. He explained what was wrong and what he did to fix it.

Mason, Anthony, and Adam did a fantastic job installing a tankless water heating system with a faucet repair and valve replacement. They were very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable! Everything only took a day to complete.

The faucet repair was just fine. The up selling was off putting. We agreed to pay 1200 bucks for a new faucet. The attempt to get us to replace our 6 year old water heater made me feel I was being taken for a chump. We are in our 60’s but we are not senile. Sorry but that is how the scary “your water heater may explode “ sales pitch made us feel. I have no problem with you and your employees making a living but don’t care to be patronized.

HomeWorks replaced our furnace and added an AC unit Feb 2022. Willie came for a simple maintenance checkup. He ran some tests and was able to point out where we could use improvements. He explained things with expertise and clarity while offering multiple solutions to fit our budget. HomeWorks always provides excellent service but Willie was particularly helpful.

Michael came in asssed the issue provided options and costs to fix. Once we agreed he completed what I thought would take 5 hours in about 45 min. That is because he had the appropriate tools, parts and most importantly 20 years of experience. Top notch service

I called a different repair company first to look at my water softener and regretted it. The other company was pushing for a sale and spent no time at all actually looking at the current appliance. I decided to get a second opinion from HomeWorks and I am very glad I did! HomeWorks was very responsive, able to come and assist quickly, and did a professional and thorough job of reviewing my current appliance before recommending a move to a newer model. Adam was pleasant to work with, educated my husband and I without talking down to us, and after giving us some time to think through the right option for us he jumped very quickly into the repair , which ended up being less expensive and have a longer warranty than the first company. Adam took time after the installation to educate us about care and settings, and he also answered some questions we had as new homeowners about other appliances and preventative maintenance. Adam was great and I was very pleased with the high quality and quick installation, and the fair pricing. I would work with HomeWorks again any time I needed their help.

They did a great job to diagnose and fix the problem. Zack was very helpful and explaining everything and helping me get the problem solved in a very fair manner. The prices are very competitive and actually were half the price of two other quotes from other companies. It is nice that their dispatch fee is waived if you go with their work as well.

Had Rich out to install a new water heater and water softener today, which he did a great job of. He showed up promptly, walked through what was going to happen, and was kind enough to ask whether he could come and go as needed through the house to get tools, transport parts, etc. which showed he cared about the experience for the customer. He put down rubber backed mats everywhere he was walking and moving parts, and had tarps down around the work area. When he left there was no evidence that any work was just done there, other than the new equipment of course. He did a good job walking me through the work he did, and what the expectations were of me. Overall, it was a great job done, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing repairs.

Dan did the work and was very unobtrusive around the house - I hardly knew he was there. He answered the few questions I had with knowledgeable, informative information, which I appreciated. I could not have have had a better experience - except a few months ago when HomeWorks installed a new furnace for me.

Addendum to my previous review:Today Homeworks installed a tankless water heater and a furnace in my home. They were unfailingly kind and courteous, answered all my questions and then some, and even swept the basement floor thoroughly when they were done.First review:HomeWorks did an amazing job replacing a 33 y/o AC unit that failed, prior to my taking possession of my new home. In this stressful situation they sent an estimator the next day and the installers came a day later. I really liked HomeWorks policy of saving space for emergencies. They are professional and courteous. They send texts with name and photo of the employee prior to appointments, with an approximate arrival time and tracking app. They educated me on how AC works, have a strong warranty, and are cooperating with efforts by my real estate agent to obtain seller reimbursement for this situation that should never have happened. I am very pleased and highly recommend this company.

😳2days before Christmas our hot water heater started leaking on the floor thank goodness we caught it. The valves wouldn’t completely shut off the water so we had to shut off the whole house. I called for service 8am ( the weather was bad, deep snow high winds) they got here around 10am. By 3pm I had a totally new system and up to code. 😊

Our AC went out and we were quoted $500 for the capacitor replacement. We called Marsh Heating & Air Conditioning, and they said the part costs $44. They came and replaced it in under 10 minutes.

Rick and Mason were very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Rick explained what my options were to repair my toilets and faucets and was able to give me a quote quickly for the work I wanted done. They had everything completed and cleaned up in about an hour. I definitely recommend Home Works.

I was impressed with the straight forward no BS approach my technician Michael explained our issue. The bid was more than fair and he gave me options in how to address our situation. The turn time from my initial call to explain our problem was less than 24 hours, it wasn't an emergency so no complaints there. I will update this post once work is completed.

Homeworks administration were very responsive; easy to communicate with via phone, text and email. Darius came in to give us an evaluation on our existing units and he was courteous, thorough and quick. He took photos of issues and gave us various plans to look through for plans. While the repair costs seem a little high I think the evaluation was extremely well done. I will work with home works in the future based on my experience today.

I found a coupon deal in the mail for a three-in-one (furnace, AC, and water heater) tune-up inspection for $44 and decided to take advantage of it.From setting up the appointment to the service, the customer service was excellent. I especially appreciated the advance text and email notifications ahead of the appointment. They even send you a picture of the technician and a map (like Uber) that allows you to track how far away the van is.The service technicians seemed very thorough in their inspection, and went over the evaluation with us afterwards. Although their service was good, the prices they quoted were very high. I think we can find someone else that will charge less for the repairs and/or replacement.

We had Jeff from Homeworks Plumbing Heating & Air to our house to replace our existing 50 gallon water heater. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the products. We would definitely use them again for any of our service needs.

This company pray on the weak.I was quoted $2000 for the same water heater by a different company vs $3400 so why the huge difference.I like their monthly plan where they come out twice a year to check hvac and flush water heater and I want to get it but I don't know if my next experience will be as good as it was with Jerry today or like the previous tech.Update:I signed up for the monthly plan where a tech is suppose to come and evaluate plumbing etc and flush water heater.Since their first visit I have canceled it. It's not what they claim it to be. The guy came in trying to sell me stuff.I followed up for over one week to get details about the water heater they were quoting me, I was not given which make and model it would be what is the efficiency rating etc. They are not transparent with their service.I have canceled the plan since then and will not be going back to this company.

Originally scheduled a tune up for our water heater after moving into our home for about almost three years and found out our chlorine level was really high plus a couple other things thanks to Jeff! Jeff K was very professional and efficient. After wanting to proceed with the new installation of our tankless water heater things moved very quickly and they got the job done and we are very pleased. I recently just took a shower and could tell our water just “felt” better! Now we can run a bath without having to worry about the hot water running out! Total pros when it comes to plumbing, heating, AC, etc. I really appreciate they made suggestions on what was best for me and my home, not just what was the most expensive. Got estimates for replacement shower valve cartridge more than $600 but technician did not want to wait for me to get home and to see he actually change valve cartridge so I have to let him go. Thanks to him, I found replacement at menards and it only costs me $46 for that and now it is good like beginning. Never gonna call you again.

Randy, the plumber sent out to give an estimate, was personable, seemed very well informed, pointed out the situation for the work he was estimating (installing an RO system I bought) clearly including the not-perfect state of my plumbing, and represented his company well. I did not accept his company's estimate because I'm pretty sure I found a better one--not a confirmed rival estimate, but one in a different ballpark so I'm taking the chance with it. I did accept another appointment from this company for an estimate on a replacement boiler I'll need in a couple of years because I liked the way our meeting went.

The HomeWorks team was responsive and helpful when our furnace went out. They explained the situation well and shared their recommendations as well as the other options I had. Tyler was friendly and informative without being pushy. It was a positive experience by the end of the day, especially considering we started our Minnesota winter morning without heat in our house.

It's true that he found some expensive projects that needed to be done for safety issues, but he also helped me find a way to save some money by resolving one issue ourselves. He even went out of his way to go to the hardware store and pick up a screw for the garbage disposal I had purchased that the factory forgot. HomeWorks may not be as affordable as other plumbing/heating services, but I'm grateful for their timeliness, professionalism, and expertise.

After making an appointment the evening before everything ran smooth in the morning and was timely. We do have to get quotes and make some pretty significant purchases but that is simply because we need to take care of our furnace and air conditioner so those things were not unexpected. It was very convenient that in the closing of our appointment with Steve we were offered an immediate appointment to have all quotes made but due to my day I had to schedule a different time. They were still able to schedule same-day for all the quotes to fix everything which I find to be very convenient. I highly recommend Steve and his team at HomeWorks. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase anything. Additionally, I feel I was heavily educated on what is going on with our entire system. He spent a significant amount of time on the phone with my husband as well making sure that we both understood what was going on with our entire furnace and AC unit.

Adam did a great job. Everything is working great. He was punctual. He got a ton of work done really quickly. He cleaned up really well after the work was finished. He really went above and beyond even helping me hang a curtain rod! All around great experience.

Disreputable company. They fixed a leaky faucet a year ago and it cost almost $1000 and they put a big hole in the bedroom wall and didn't fix it. Thought that was excessive. They recommended additional work which we declined. They came back recently for a free furnace inspection. Said the furnace was leaking acidic water and CO and it needed maintenance. Gave us the choice of plans costing $2485 to $5157. The furnace is only 1 year old and still under warranty. Called the furnace company who came and inspected it and said there was nothing wrong with the furnace. They also said that Homeworks is known to recommend unneeded work and not to employ them.

We called homework’s because our water heater didn’t seem to be working as well as it used to, and with school starting up again and four boys in the house someone was going to get a cold shower so my wife made the call!The gentleman’s name was Josh he was extremely polite and very honest, He worked on our relatively old water heater for about 20 minutes informed us that as you probably already know it should be replaced.But he wasn’t pushing the issue, which was reassuring. He gave us a quote for a new one and also a second quote for a larger unit ( which we will definitely be going with!)I told him we had to get some finances in order and will definitely getting back to him, he said sounds great Look forward to hearing from you and went on to the next call.We will definitely be calling homework’s asking for josh to have new unit installed.

The guys were great. On time, prepared, discreet. Hardly knew they were here. Ended exactly when projected. Walked us through, gave some simple maintenance tips. Cleaned up and down the road. Painless. Would recommend them to anyone who asks.

On day 4 after service, one of the 3 inside water shutoff valves failled on the weekend. Called for emergency support to find there is no support available until Monday morning. The suggestion was to turn off the water into the house to avoid my outside faucet from freezing up. Very disappointed. Not what I was expecting.

After a horrible experience with another plumbing company we called Home Works, cannot say enough good. Phil took good care of us in getting our bathtub unclogged. Very personable and professional! Charles Kayeri our service technician from Homeworks Plumbing Hearing Air did an amazing job cleaning up and servicing our AC unit. He was very kind, professional and honest. Cost was of course is always out of the books but his customer service and professional attitude makes the experience great.

Tech was excellent and helpful. The “comfort specialist” felt very slimy. They are quite pushy and seemed to be a lot of wiggle room in their quote - which they never provided me with an actual copy of the quote. Don’t let them rush you into a decision. Go elsewhere with a replacement. They were over $5k higher than other quotes with comparable systems and warranties.

They come into your house to spoil things to get you to buy and spend money on things that aren’t necessary. When you say no, they mess with your hot water so they can come back and fix something else that wasn’t broken so they can bill you inappropriately. They are scammers buys beware do not use them.

Homeworks is one of the best companies to work with when it comes to home repairs. They are timely, professional, and great communicators of price as well as requirements. I’ve worked with them multiple times now and their team has the most experienced technicians available. If they do not handle the work directly themselves (for example electrical work) they have partners that can handle the work.

I needed my water heater replaced. The tech guy was good but...1. They are just too overpriced! 2. Part of the estimate was upselling ie you are not up to code etc. and adding other expenses. The first estimate was $6,000.00!!! Even after negotiating I overpaid but you know...they were already there. That one is on me. My 2 star review isn't for the quality of their work but for the excessive pricing and the emphasis they place on upselling. Jack.

Charles K. Was my technician. He was here at 8am sharp, greeting was professional and friendly. He was here for a system maintenance check. He explained everything he was going to be checking. Found a couple of things that needed to be addressed, we reviewed issues and the pictures and the after photos. He did a meticulous job cleaning the parts and left no trace he had been there.Extremely happy with the entire appointment.

Great communication from staff preceding the visit and their tech Jeremy did a great job. The upfront pricing, while a bit higher than expected when we were planning the work, was still nice as there were no hidden costs or surprise problems to pay for. The price options they give are the prices, which is very appreciated.

Home Works have sent wrongly the Technician Jerry Soung to my home on Sep 9 Wednesday. He told me that my gas velvet and heat exchanger were bad and required to change the new one. Instead of changing those, it is better to invest in buying a new furnace, he persuaded. Then, their technician Peter Perry was sent to explain what kind of furnaces I can choose to. It was also a bad representation. Peter's explanation pushed me drastically to purchase the furnaces no matter what the other reasons I have. Both Jerry and Peter are required to be trained to do as professionals.I reported my issues to my father via Messenger. He asked me to request another service. Actually, it works out!. My dad was genuinely right. The real problem was Flame Sensor, Burners, and Align. It was NOT the issue regarding gas valves and heat exchanger. In fact, the gas valvet was switched off! I didn't even notice it! The other technician from the other service showed me out! Jerry is supported to let me know if the gas valvet was really shut off. It seems like he didn't know it (or) maybe he switched off intentionally! It is NOT his fault. It is the fault of someone who gets him to work for HomeWorks and manages schedules who to send. Now, my furnace's maintenance costs around $800 and get back to a normal running condition! The other inappropriate behavior these guys did was the placement of the advertisement board on my lawn without my notice. I have attached that signboard on this comment as well. I was surprised how that signboard was on my lawn. This was beyond the boundary - cross the line.Their services manager tried to connect with me for follow-up. However, I was so frustrated and upset. I don't wanna discuss with them anymore because my impression and trust on them is gone. When you are in my place, you would probably do the same way as I do.As the result, do NOT contact HomeWorks to do your project and repairs your furnace, water heaters and everything! Their leadership and management have cracks and weakness. Also, they are trying to make money only without providing nice services. If you follow whatever they said, you would have to pay unnecessarily! Your precious money and time will be a lot waste!

I used HomeWorks to install a mini-split ductless AC in our 1914 house. Everyone was very easy to work with, very responsive to questions, considerate and communicative during installation. A water pipe in our basement ceiling started to leak. Our house is 110 years old, so we’re always worried that a seemingly simple problem will become a big deal. Josh was familiar with old homes and plumbing. He was able to fix the corroded pipe and added a new valve and an outdoor faucet. Suspicious professional practice by either employee Zach Evans or business. I ask for a water heater assessment. Employee claims my water heater was older than it actually is leading to his assessment that it needs to be replaced. He pauses to finish gathering his things and tells my wife to leave upstairs when she decides to wait for him instead he rushes back downstairs claiming he forgot something. Before the assessment I had no water leak. During the assessment there was a small leak. After assessment, now I have a big leak. This clearly does not make sense other than I smell sabotage. I will definitely not do business with HomeWorks again. And make sure everyone else steers clear of them. Be warned. Stay away from them.

Jeremy arrived to service my water heater. He and his apprentice were very cheerful and also paid attention to my dogs upon arrival! He briefly discussed the procedure that the service would include and his apprentice executed per plan under his watchful supervision. A worn anode rod was replaced on his advice and my approval before it negatively impacted my water heater. Jeremy also noted that my water softener was not functioning and got it operational again. He further provided advice on maintaining my water heater and softener so I could enjoy many more years of use for those investments. I highly recommend Jeremy for his knowledge, experience and advice in caring for home water management systems.

Our hot water heater broke last night and we were in dire need of getting it replaced since it was 15 years old. We went into this knowing we also need to replace our water softener.HomeWorks helped us out first thing in the morning to get someone out here to take a look. A couple hours later, the sales person showed up and showed us what went wrong and gave us a couple options on replacing it. He was very upfront and informative but not pushy.Not only did we get a quote we were comfortable with, work started about a half hour later when the first of two installers came to haul away our old appliances and replace them with new.The process has been super easy. All the people we were in contact with were easy to talk to.We would absolutely recommend them for anyone needing help with their water softener or heater.

Jeff Kissner, the service tech who stopped by to check my water heater, was polite and professional. Upon thoroughly reviewing all my plumbing needs, he provided me with a list of options of things that I should consider fixing. The great thing about the options was that there were a variety of ways to skin the cat from replacement to repair. He was also helpful in explaining how a repair might not add much longevity to my water heater.In the end, he set me up with a great tankless water heater that gives me never-ending hot water for my soaking tub! Excellent service! Their communication is top notch. When Alex, (repair guru) was enroute I could track his path via GPS. I called them to let them know I was heading home from work and asked if he could wait in case he beat me home. No problem, he was here and then walked me through the repair options. Once the repair decision was made he made quick work of it, even taking photos so I could see the before and after repairs. I will definitely keep their number on my go to list!

Excellent and very professional folks (from sales to HVAC to metal sheet work to electrical folks... awesome team). HomeWorks is a relatively new company so I was reluctant at the beginning to give them a major work in my house. I decided to follow my instinct and take the plunge and I was happy to have done that. At the outset, I was impressed with the knowledge level of Thomas, the sales guy. I was also impressed with his follow up and the ability to match competition prices. There were 6 people who did the installation for me and the post would be lengthy if I talked about each and everyone of them. I had a big job of replacing my old furnace, gas water heater, installing UV light (on the furnace return), upgrading the zoning controller and replacing the air filtration system. During the installation and while chatting with Andy, I discovered my old water softener also needed replacement because the resin was dumping in the drain with gold color beads. The gold color was puzzling me for a while (I thought I had gold hidden in my walls and was raining somehow around the drain :) HomeWorks gave me good price for the additional equipment and added that water softener replacement to the schedule. All the work was completed on the same day and they left the place clean. Thank you guys.

Had my water heater go out over the weekend, called Monday morning to see about a replacement. Within an hour John had shown up and provided a comprehensive list of options and prices. I picked the service I wanted done, and by early Monday afternoon all the repairs were completed. John did an awesome job, was very friendly/helpful, and made sure we got the best possible experience. I strongly recommend not to have your gas dryer installed by them. When they installed the gas dryer, they never tested for any leaks because it started smelling like gas soon after. The gas company came out and wondered if I installed it myself based on how poor the installation job was. They eventually fixed the issue the next day, but didn't care that our family's health was at risk and that we had to have two more people in our home during COVID due to their negligence. They did not take any responsibility for their mistake, only blamed it on the existing valve that they did not care to check before leaving. The manager believed that I should just be happy that the employee will be talked to about what happened. Good luck if you go through this company.

We had to replace our entire HVAC system the summer we moved into our home. Working with HomeWorks has been overall very positive; I appreciate that they text photos of the technician coming to the house for check-ups and give updates on when they will arrive. Charles did our spring check up today and he was friendly, professional and thorough.

Matt was upfront with the a/c diagnosing, and weighed the costs of repairs vs replacement with other factors considered. Decided to replace, and was a bit worried about the costs. Comfort Advisor, Peter, was able to work out a finance plan that was reasonable. Overall so far, the experience has been pleasant. UPDATE: Charles and his colleague installed the units, and the process was smooth and within reasonable time. Was opened to any questions and the work that was done looked great.

Had two shut off valves replaced under kitchen sink. Plumber did a great job. Bit more expensive than I was led to believe by HomeAdvisor.

Water was leaking from a pipe and into the flooring. Help came within 90 minutes, figured out that it was the dishwasher and replaced a valve to stop the leak until the appliance could be replaced. Very nice and honest!

Deceptive Trade Practices and Refusal to submit a Warranty Claim to Carrier. We give HOMEWORKS A NEGATIVE 5 REVIEW!In June 2022, our furnace started leaking water and the AC stopped working. Matt from HOMEWORKS replaced the blower motor & control panel and charged us $3,252. He also said the outside AC Carrier unit was low on pressure and gave us an estimate of $1,257 for that work. We asked him to submit a warranty claim because our furnace was under a Carrier 5-year warranty. He said another dept. was in charge of submitting warranty claims. The furnace leaked again the next day. Matt came and said the tray under the AC coils was cracked and gave us an estimate of $4k to replace the AC coils & suggested that we buy a new system. We declined to have HOMEWORKS do any additional work.A KB Service tech came the next day. He said the reason the AC stopped working earlier was because the blower motor failed, which caused ice to build up on the AC coils; ice melted and dripped onto the blower motor. He said the furnace filter (which was less than a week old) was bent and the blower speed was set to 1700cfm, when it should have been set at 1200cfm. He fixed the blower speed and said the water leaked because the high fan speed caused water to spray off of the AC coils rather than dripping into the tray below the AC coils. He said there was nothing wrong with the AC coils or tray. The KB tech also checked the outside AC unit and said it was just fine. The KB bill was $300.We sent HOMEWORKS a notice of cancellation of the invoice for $3,252 and a notice of cancellation of the $14 monthly charge for their service plan.Despite our requests to HOMEWORKS to submit a warranty claim to Carrier HOMEWORKS has refused. The only reason given for their refusal was because the parts were wet. That is an excuse. I talked to Barb with the Warranty dept. at Carrier. She said that HOMEWORKS was an authorized Carrier dealer & should have submitted a warranty claim & that we could not submit a warranty claim. She said the work needed to be performed by a licensed tech with factory parts. Likely, HOMEWORKS failed to follow proper protocol & did not use factory parts or a licensed tech for the work. If HOMEWORKS had informed us that they would not submit a warranty claim, we would not have had them do any work at all. This is deceptive trade practices, designed to collect as much money as possible from us, the consumer. HOMEWORKS also tried to trick us into unnecessary expensive repairs or replacement of our furnace and AC unit that was less than 5 years old. HOMEWORKS has offered to refund the $300 paid to KB, which is not acceptable.

Matt did a great job doing maintenance on my Carrier furnace. He told me that he found 2 items that needed to be maintenance. He was on time, wore shoe booties and cleaned up after himself. I will be calling back next spring for a tune up on my Carrier AC unit.

I have been a member of Home Works maintenance deal for about a year. They have always been on time and completed what was needed to keep our items running smoothly. We had an issue where our AC was not working correctly. They came out and quoted several different repairs to work on air flow (our AC ended up being replaced through the home warranty). Given how the improper airflow was described to us (damaging our 3 year old furnace) we still wanted to increase the airflow. We decided (financially) that we couldn't do all the improvements they were recommending, but agreed to complete the return air flow as that was the one the tech was saying was damaging our furnace. We called to set up the improvement-- and I talked to the sales guy a total of 3 different times. All three times, they are telling me they will NOT complete the increase of the return air flow without putting in an upgraded blower motor along with it. I explained that upgrading the blower motor was not in the budget at this time as we are expecting a baby next month and increase expenses but we wanted to stop the damage to the furnace. The sales guy told me his manager refused to do the one upgrade without the blower motor. Which tells me-- that it clearly isn't doing damage if they are refusing work. He told me that he would have the manager call me to speak to me directly to see if there was something we could work out-- that was over 1.5 weeks ago and I have not heard a reply. I have never heard of a company refusing to do service/upgrade work that they recommended. Poor customer service, disappointing and not I am not sure if I can trust them at this point.While the president replied to my post, unfortunately the lack of follow up from the manager as well as the fact that I'm the customer and the blower motor improvement was just that. An improvement, not a repair or a necessary upgrade at this point. My blower motor is 3 years old and it was sold to us as an upgrade for efficiency purposes. They also tried to sell us on a home grade medical air filtration system.... But funny how the one thing I actually need because it is causing damage, they won't complete unless I upgrade something that is in property for working condition is baffling.Edit: over the winter we did end up replacing the blower motor for the fancy one they recommend. Unfortunately, it didn't solve any of our issues.Edit again: Ultimately went with a different company. AC was undersized. Homework’s never told us that and just sold us all these upgrades that didn’t do anything. We cancelled our service with them. Stay with Homeworks if you want high prices, sales to fix issues that don’t exist and poor management.

He was able to come out before the scheduled time which worked better for me! Friendly and got the job done with no issues!

My 2nd time working with this company and their technician Josh and had a great experience! He came out to access my water heater which was a free service I obtained from my previous visit. Josh was on time and even waited for me as I was running late due to traffic! He examined & explained what was going on with my current appliance and gave some great options on what I could do. I never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision on the spot. Will totally be using them for my replacement this summer!

The guy who came out to evaluate the job was awesome, and very thorough. However, the company’s pricing was very high compared to other quotes. They wanted $1,000 to pull the electric wires from the breaker box. An electrician is charging me $150. They would have had my business for their thoroughness, if not for the extreme pricing.

The representative was on time very professional and wore booties in the house. He was able to get the job done quickly. He did a great job fixing my water pressure. It did cost $499 to replace the shower part so, I'm not sure if that's expensive or not. I guess you'd have to check around. I'm glad that I can take a shower today

Very thorough and informative. I love the use of modern technology. I got an email and phone call to confirm the appointment, then I got an email and text with the technician's picture and a short bio about him, then I got an email and text when the technician was on his way. There is even a link to a map showing where the technician is while he is driving! The technicians were very knowledgeable and explained everything they found on their tune up.

Prompt and professional. Rates seemed a little high ($699.00 to replace a faucet cartridge that took about 45 minutes to replace) but the tech did a good job explaining what was needed and why. They offered a free hot water heater drain and flush, when they found a corroded part that cost another $479.00. Total cost for the 60 minute house call approached $1200.00, but it was done professionally and on time.

Over the past few months, we have had to replace our water heater and sump pump (+ all of the plumbing to go with the pump). Though never fun to do so, the team at HomeWorks has been great! All of the staff we have interacted with were extremely professional. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and laid out all of the options to fix them at every price point. I would recommend them for anything related to plumbing, heating and air!

Brent from HomeWorks was polite, professional, knowledgeable and all around helpful when he came out to fix my furnace. Would definitely recommend this company and their employees! And the same can be said for Grant and James who came out to install my new furnace the same day as my old one was diagnosed by Brent. No high pressure sales tactics either--just good info.

Mr. Jeff Kissner came right on time. He was very polite and wore a mask. He quickly discovered what was leaking under my sink. Showed me, and then provided me with a very reasonable quote which I approved. He had the parts required and the problem fixed in short order. I had been thinking about proactively replacing my 15 year old furnace before there were problems so I called HomeWorks to give me an estimate on the replacement. I was delighted to get an honest assessment from my technician, who determined that the current unit likely had several more years of service. Lamar Hubbard installed the system (with the help of another guy, forgot his name though), and they was super courteous and helpful. We have an old house and they worked out a logical system to keep us cool.

Darius was professional and friendly, thoroughly explaining how to maintain my HVAC system, giving me options for upgrades with no pressure. For the price I thought it would be rushed but he went over the whole system thoroughly, making sure all my questions were answered. Excellent value and service!

They were able to schedule me in sooner than any of the other companies I had called for an AC tune-up (after Genz Ryan had already cancelled on me 3 times). We needed a kitchen faucet and a toilet tank guts replaced. We had the new parts here. The plumber admitted it would take only one hour. He wanted over $1000. NO WAY! There was no flexibility so we sent him away.

We had HomeWorks come to our home to do a free tune-up for our furnace/AC. They quoted us heavy amount with needing to replace our furnace. After the technicians left, our furnace was not turning on. My husband and tried everything to get the heat to work to no avail. Our house was down to 55 degrees. We called the next day and they did send a technician out, free of charge, to inspect it. He stated the cause was a lose wire. Do their technicians not carefully inspect their work before they leave to ensure that their customer's systems are in proper order? On top of that, the technicians walked to the back of our house using our gates. They left one of them wide open and the latch was also broken. Careless and thoughtless. We have two dogs that could have run away had we not caught that. Had they said something, it would be different.

Was able to book a next day appointment. Office called me first thing in the AM to confirm. Got a text with a photo and name of my service provider, loved that! I was given explanation of the issues and was offered options. My service provider was friendly and respectful. Good experience!

Brian explained things in a way that I could understand and also seemed very trustworthy. He gave me options of repair and replacement with good, better, best and explained the benefits of each option. At no point did I feel pressured to make a decision, which is very important to me.

WAY OVERPRICED, GET A SECOND OPINIONFirst off, our technician and sales guy were great, nothing negative about that part of the experience. The technician was quick and taught me a lot about how my furnace works, explained the things he saw that were wrong, and figured out which ones to fix (which ended up working). The sales guy wasn't super pushy (just a little) and was extremely knowledgeable about technical details.The prices are outrageous, though. I was quoted $2.5k to get the furnace up and running (control board and cleaning), so I called someone else and got it done for much cheaper (the board was only $150 + labor, but HomeWorks quoted $1k for that alone). I understand that you need to charge for labor and a bit of profit, but $850 for swapping out a board that probably took the other tech 10min to hook up the wires to is a little much.

We’ve used homeworks in two homes now for all our heating, AC, water heater needs. Online scheduling is very convenient and they always come out promptly and give notifications when they are on their way. Always very professional and nice. Thanks!

Jeff K provided outstanding service when he completed a water heater and plumbing inspection at my home. He was very thorough and professional and I was very pleased with his work.

One would think I would be on a preferred customer list with HomeWorks after purchasing a new furnace, air conditioning system, a tankless water heater, and an electrostatic air cleaner. I also purchased their $8 per month program that provided for a heating unit inspection and a cooling unit inspection once a year (spring/fall) schedule. The first scheduled visit was booked between 1-3pm, which they canceled on that day, then set up another appt for today 1-3pm, which was canceled around 2:30. I called the customer service person, she was very apologetic and we set up another appt. For 7:30-10:30 on 11/15. This has occurred on, it seems every time, spring or fall we have a check up. What is says, is that HomeWorks doesn’t value their customers time waiting at home during the time they say they will be at the customers home. It’s a bad process that they repeat each year. And then to top it off, the service tech has his service manager get on a call with me at the end of his check up to sell me some other product they have! Maybe delete that sales call if you blow off one, two, or more appts.Update: My 11/15 furnace inspection scheduled for 7:50-10:30 this morning was cancelled according to their Customer Service Rep, but I was never notified of the cancellation. Really, you can’t make up more incompetence than HomeWorks is demonstrating, maybe they are really thin skinned and didn’t like my review, hopefully they will read my update. Well, the service rep did show up in my new appt 1:00-3:00pm on 11/15, and the rep was like all the past reps, very personable and a good representative for HomeWorks. I posted my frustration on the reply to the service notice on the 7:50-10:30 appt, and the person I was talking to was very apologetic. I accepted the apology and encouraged HW’s to review their process on these fall and spring check up! We parted under friendly terms.

Adam was great! He was on time very efficient and cleaned up everything when he was done. I would highly recommend him to do any plumbing that you need done.

Paid $89 for a “service call” that was really a sales pitch for their subscription program. Called about a leaky faucet and was told we needed $5000 in repairs for things we hadn’t asked about and then told “but look how much you could save if you have the subscription!”. Never again. Update: our tankless water heater and our high efficiency furnace condenser pump were improperly installed. We’ve had multiple water leaks and flooding issues as a result, and HomeWorks was unable to resolve the issues without proposing multiple hundreds or thousands of dollars of additional work. We’ve since hired professional and capable plumbers to fix and improve on what this outfit missed.Also HomeWorks didn’t “keep those guys” …Thomas (hvac) and Michael (plumbing) are great professionals. They installed a new furnace for us 2 yrs ago and a new tankless water heater this winter. Both are clean, working and efficient. Keep those guys!

Scheduling was horrible. I was never actually scheduled after being told I was and had to call back after my appointment time had been wasted waiting. I was told someone would call me. I had to call again, long after being told I would be contacted, in order to make sure someone was actually coming. For half an hour of work, it was over $300, even after a membership discount and a service coupon. This isn’t the first or second, or even third, time they’ve gotten me with astronomical rates, so shame on me, but we don’t know any good small business tradesmen. Charge transparency is completely lacking, so we never get told exactly what we’re paying all that money for. At least the call takers are polite. 2/10 for the business.Adam did a great job, offered a third replacement option that saved me a lot of money, and quickly fixed our broken shower faucet. He was kind, pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. I hope to see him stick around for a long time and I highly recommend him. 10/10 for the employee.

On Tuesday, October 7, 2019, Jeremy Petersen along with Austin came to my home repairing a concern that I had. Austin gave an excellent pitch and I was very interested in having two toilets installed in my home. They both installed the toilets in a timely and expertly manner. By the evening I had a concern regarding the height of the toilet in one of my bathrooms. Just got my quotes so still deciding what options I want to go for on a new finished basement but Adam was extremely helpful and professional. The service was so great I probably won’t even shop around for pricing because theirs seemed fair and I’d want the same professional level of service going in.

Had to come out three times and the system still does not work properly. Gave ridiculous estimates for simple repairs that needed done to make the system work appropriately. A complete ripoff. Do not waste your time and money signing up with this organization. They want to sign you onto a monthly deal and then charge unreasonable prices for simple repairs. Should be a review of Zero if that was available. In hindsight doubt we even needed a new water softener. Complete rip off artists.

The guys came over on time,sorry to make them wait a few minutes ,as i fell asleep. Not related. They replaced several turn off valves and inside guts to the toilet, both toilets. Jeremy and Tina, his assistant, brought answers to plumbing problems plaguing me for years. They listened carefully and provided me with a full spectrum of options from bandaid fix to a platinum package covering my whole list. I was able to choose a careful balance for the best quality for the best price, benefiting me with solutions better than I could’ve hoped. It was a long list, but they stuck to it until job’s completion—9 hours. Both my wife and I will not hesitate to request their help for any future plumbing needs. We’ve already started recommending them and HomeWorks to friends.

If you live in the south metro area, look elsewhere for services. The prices for this company are very HIGH. The charge to replace an exterior faucet spigot is $549. Hessian plumbing charges $198 for the same work. Their BBB rating is low, citing overpricing often. You'll see other Google reviews here that indicate severe overpricing. Skip this company and call Hessian, Champion, or other local plumbers.

A business must educate and care for customers, not deceive them. This company is sending “SERVICE NOTIFICATION” postcards in the mail that are advertisements disguised as a bill or official notice. Shame on them.

Brock was great. Professional, genuine, and friendly. He performed a A/C tune up for us and at the end, told me what we need to do to keep it in optimal shape. He didn't force anything on us, I told him thanks for the information and would be letting them know in the near future.

I’ve now had HomeWorks out at my house three times, for two separate issues. The first being an improper tub install (by the builder not HomeWorks) and I couldn’t be happier with the tech and the way that service was handled. She helped get me enough documentation to prove the issue wasn’t normal wear and tear and was super thorough on explaining what she was doing and why. Her professionalism and work made it so I could prove that this should have been covered under warranty which made the builder agree to repair it correctly at their expense.The second time they came out was for a water drain flush. During this visit there was an incident caused by them regarding my furnace. It took a bit of time to get resolved, and once it was resolved, I initially let HomeWorks know that I was unhappy with mistake and how it was handled. I did not expect any real follow-up and was surprised that the owner followed up with me early the next morning.After speaking with the owner, they agreed to come back and fix the furnace issue as well as fix another issue they had found the day before that I had originally declined to have repaired.One the third visit the same tech came back to setup the furnace and other item as promised. This visit went much smoother and was more in line with how I would expect service calls to go.I don’t think there is a company in existence that hasn’t made a mistake before, but I do believe that the way a company responds to their mistakes speaks volumes about the integrity and credibility of the company. The fact that the owner called as quickly as he did to discuss the issue, coupled with the fact that they fixed their mistakes (and then some!) does prove that HomeWorks does care about the overall experience that their customers have. I do appreciate the follow up from the company and what was initially a bad experience was quickly turned into a much better experience thanks to the way the addressed my concerns.Based on the fact that I have had two good experiences with them, and one that was immediately fixed I would recommend them to anybody needing HVAC or plumbing repair work done.

Jeff was fantastic!! On time (even when we weren't), friendly and professional, took the time to clearly explain what needed to be fixed and why and answered our many questions, did the work quickly in the same visit as the consultation (fixed two hose bibs and installed a new water heater) and cleaned up after himself. He even cleaned up a mess of wood shavings another contractor made at our house. We’re doing a home remodel and this has been by far the best contractor experience we’ve had so far. Be aware, this is my first review about any service, on any platform, but certainly warranted here.The job:Okay so I'll admit I should have gotten more estimates for my project prior to service, but I typically trust companies with a lot of local ads to be truthful and do a good job. Plus, I like to support local companies.In my case I needed to install a basement sink quickly because we just bought our house and were going to do a full remodel on our kitchen right away after moving into the house and didn't have a second sink and I didn't have the time to do it myself.We were on a tight timeline - we moved in and I had a demo planned for a couple weeks after and I work full time with a 1year old - so I called HomeWorks to see if they could help get a utility sink installed since we didn't have one.I called on a weekend, described my project, and they said, Sure! We can get someone out that same day.I thought, Wow, I must have gotten lucky with their availability So I agreed. FYI - Didn't need same day, but they offered and didn't explain that was an extra cost.Once they got there they explained that it would cost $2,500 for the install, which seemed pretty steep, but I thought - having just bought the house - there might be more issues than I thought. Plus they told me there would be a $100 charge just for coming out if I said, No to the estimate - despite not telling me that on the call.After the job was done, they informed me that although the job was 'technically' to code, I should check with another plumber about other parts of my overall plumbing installation because what they had done was not what they normally would have recommend. Uh...What? Still can't explain that.I asked why they didn't tell me that ahead of time, and they said they were just doing what I asked - thanks for that, probably would do it correctly (and BTW a larger job for your company) if you would have made the recommendation.Then after he left I looked more closely at what was done...1. Utility sink - $400 (max)2. Maybe 5-ft copper pipe + valves $100 (max)3. Delivery of sink - ($50 max)$550 in parts$1950 labor/install - 3 hrs. That's $650/ hr.Called after the fact to dispute, they said they've checked with their competition and what they charge is fair.... I guess I chose the wrong profession.Please do not use this company - especially if you don't need same day service. The work they did was fine, but $650/hr is completely unreasonable, and they 100% seem willing to take advantage if you are unaware of your situation.Will never use this company again. Just too many other good plumbers out there willing to be fair and transparent.

I had Homeworks come to do a tune up on my furnace and ac. Charles showed up on time and was very courteous. His professionalism was evident right away as he went right to work and was willing to answer any questions I had. He was very thorough in his tasks, more so than any other service person before. Plumber came out and found that my leak was not in-fact a plumbing issue and referred me to someone who could help. Homeworks did Not charge a service fee which is awesome. As a Paraprofessional we make nothing and every bit helps!

Kuo and his crew did a great job with the installation of the new mini split air conditioning system. It was done neatly. They cleaned up everything when they were done. HomeWorks sent Adam out to replace our bathtub faucet. We were notified when he was on his way. He was on time and friendly. He explained the cost up front (ouch!) and what it included. Upon completing he cleaned up everything, “shined up” our new faucet and showed us how to operate it. Before he left he explained the warranty and said to call HomeWorks with any questions.Our Goldendoodle wanted to go home with him and that’s the true testament!To notch plumber and company.

Beware that they may or may not get to you in their appointment time. They were late for mine but they did call and tell me there were running late. It was , however, at the end of the 3-hour window. Mine was 7:30am to 10:30am. Once here , hey explained things well. I still haven't gotten my field report with pictures, so don't count on that. Their prices are ok, and the tech and salesman were both nice and professional.

I replaced a furnace today after a service call yesterday to replace the igniter switch. I was offered a quality American made furnace at a great price and also had the humidifier added as well. The men who worked on the installation were friendly, competent, and went out of their way to explain where they were in the process , when they would be done, and cleaned up and removed the materials they used, the old furnace, and left everything in working order. I was shown how to use the equipment as well. I totally recommend them for any work. Tomorrow the plumber is coming out to take care of a clogged water pipe. They offer a monthly plan that includes yearly check up a d cleanup of heating, air, and plumbing for $10/month. With this plan I will not pay a upfront charge for them just coming out. I have used their affiliate Adams Pest for years for another branch of service for lawn care and treatment. This family owned business treats me as if I am family. My lawn is beautiful!

Update to my previous post giving them 4 out of 5 starts. A little background. I was contacted by HomeWorks offering a free furnace inspection. So I made an appointment, why not free. Yeah right. Well after inspection it was suggested I do $650 worth of work to keep my furnace working. I thought ok, I will do it seeing it might help me get more years out of it. Work was done, and furnace worked fine. Fast forward one week. I wake up in the morning and my house is cold and furnace is not working, thermostat is dead. I thought a fuse, no dice. So I had to call HomeWorks to come out. Guess what, another $350 to get it running. What can I do, I had no choice so I paid it. Fast forward two more days, furnace is not working again. HomeWorks is back out and now they are telling me it is something with my electrical. Previously I thought I was getting good service from an honest company, but I no longer feel that. I have been in my house 10 years and never have I had a problem with my furnace or electrical until I decided to take advantage of HomeWorks Free furnace inspection. I am now in $1,000 after having them come out for that inspection. To me it seems a little interesting how this has all happened. Buyer beware. To top it off when the furnace died the first time I had to wait over 24 hours for them to get out to my house. Seeing it was a recall I didn't have to pay for the call which is why I didn't call another place. In hindsight I should have cut my losses and gone elsewhere.UPDATE- HomeWorks reached out to me to talk thru my issue. The person I talked too listen to my frustration about happened. In the end I am keeping my HomeWorks plan because I thought the tech did a very good job and I feel they offer good service. The person I talked with was very knowledgeable and helpful in regards to my situation. In the end I feel much better, and in no way do I think I was taken advantage of, and will still be using HomeWorks in the future.

Outstanding service today! Luke really stands head and shoulders above just about anyone I've ever had with helping me with home issues. He took the time to answer A LOT of questions i had...an embarrassingly large number of questions actually. He's very logical and very knowledgeable about his craft. We had two technicians at our home for 6 visits that should have been 2 or 3. The first guy couldn't figure it out said to call and book a senior technician. The senior technician was supposed to come before 1:30pm, but never showed despite us waiting around like a couple of chumps. I called and rescheduled him for the next morning. Guy shows up, calls the first guy and pokes around only to declare AC works, and then leaves. Well, our cooling & heating were still bonkers. He did not take the time to diagnose the issue. It was 87 degrees upstairs and 50s in the basement! The dogs can't handle that and nor could we.On top of having issues with heating and cooling during this hot, hot summer, I am having to call off work so someone can present with the technician. I was having to call out of work 6 different days to make sure someone was present, and we paid $2000 for all this! I understand you are likely serving thousands of homes with complex HVAC issues, I understand that our issues were hard to diagnose, but I live with chronic illness and had a severe pain flare up due to the stress and high temperatures. This was just flat out not OK. It is not fun having your AC die in the summer time, and it is even more unfun that we have paid money and have these folks keep coming out and scratching their heads. I would contact another local company, folks.

I obtained an appointment immediately; Mike diagnosed the problem and gave me a price quickly. He was friendly, professional and made some further recommendations. I felt that he was fair and honest and didn’t try to get me to commit to expensive services that weren’t necessary right now. I’ve added this company to my contact’s & won’t hesitate to use them again.

Good customer service. The tech was a smoker and all I could smell the whole time he was here was cigarette smell. Not sure if he had a few before coming to my house then when he went to his truck for a bit but now all I smell is the smoke everywhere. It’s ok if you are a smoker but maybe don’t do it before you go into someone’s house or when you run back out to your truck. Sick to stomach from it. I know it’s typical when you have a free time up they always suggest other stuff. My system isn’t even a year old.

Josh and Jackie Boy were super effective and nice. Josh especially laid out the requirements and needed repairs in an easy to understand fashion and work with me to be able to get them done in one visit. I truly enjoyed meeting the repairman and the job was finished professionally and with industry best practices.

They are scammers. The technician spent less than a minute looking at my leaking water heater and 30 minutes sharing anecdotes while supposedly preparing an estimate for replacement. The estimate to replace my 50-gallon water heater was $3,000 for a standard tank version or $10,000 for tankless. When I said I'd need time to look over the offer, he called his manager on his phone, who immediately took $300 off the estimate. This is a big red flag since it merely confirms their estimate is inflated to begin with.I called half a dozen other plumbers and got estimates for the $3,000 option from $1,600-2,400 and for the $10,000 option for around half that. The only reason I used Homeworks was because they were the only plumber with same-day availability. Frankly, the $89 service call fee was a rip-off, but at least I didn't get scammed out of a thousand bucks.The technician also lied to me by saying it would cost me more if I didn't do the work the same day because he would have to be paid twice for coming back out the next day. This was a lie because later when I declined the service and paid the $89 fee, he told me that if I change my mind and have them do the work in the future, they will credit me back the fee.Note that one of the first questions the technician asked me while chatting me up was what I do for work. I suspect they ask that to calculate how much they think you will be willing to spend. He also asked if I had been aware I needed a new water heater, likely to gauge whether I would have any idea what a fair price was.Also, as others have said, it seems obvious that most of these reviews are fake. They have 3 times as many reviews as the next most for any plumber in my area.

We needed a gas line ran for our new stove. Homeworks and one of their plumbers Adam came highly recommended. We called them to schedule and they were able to arrive next day. Adam was very knowledgeable and thorough with his evaluation. They could do the work right there and we decided to move forward with the work. Adam worked quickly and efficiently and everything turned out great!

Mason plumbed in a new natural gas hookup from the outside. He was professional and did quality work, and went above and beyond. I didn't put good value because everything seems so expensive, and I don't know. But I think it seemed like a good value compared to the electrical work I just had done.

The technician, was professional and polite and more than helpful. He did a great job explaining what it would cost and what would need to be done to have a waterline hooked up in my home. He also was able to fix a problem with the toilet running while he was here. And pointed out some important issues with my water heater that I was not aware of.

Jeff Kissner with HomeWorks showed up to my house to inspect an issue I was having with my water heater. I knew it was going to need replacement considering it was 14 years old and leaking. After Jeff and I went through our options we made a decision and Jeff even went out of his way to get me some money off of the installation cost which was huge for me. The work was quality and done in a very timely manner. If I ever need any other heating, plumbing, or ac issues in the future I will be calling HomeWorks and requesting Jeff again. Couldn’t be happier with the service.

Jeremy was incredibly professional, thorough, and upfront about the entire process. I needed a toilet fixed and it ultimately needing to be replaced and the pipe needed repairs. He showed me several options that included installing a water softener and filtration system that ultimately we decided not to do for the time being due to finances. We will likely revisit this next year though. Jeremy did an excellent job with the repairs and installation and was incredibly courteous throughout the duration of the appointment. I would wholeheartedly recommend him and Home Works.

This morning the temperature in Lakeville was -20. Our furnace was not performing as well as it should have been. I called and within an hour Chris was ringing our doorbell. He repaired the furnace quickly and efficiently. It is a GREAT benefit being a member of Homeworks. This is the second time we've used its services since joining and have been completely satisfied both times

Tyler came out to give me a quote to change from an electric to gas stove. He was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and such a great technician. 👍I ended up using this company for a tough installation of a new gas line. They were excellent! They always checked with me before going ahead with the intrusive part of the job - cutting into the ceiling and wall. And did a great job - even bringing in the new stove and hooking it up. Great experience.

Josh arrived at our home today and worked extremely hard to diagnose the problem(leak in basement ceiling from upstairs sink) accurately and fix permanently. He minimized the potential for mess and cleaned up after himself. He is cheerful, upbeat and professional. I highly recommend this company and am so grateful to have joined their club. Very good experience with this inspector who came very well prepared with sufficient knowledge experience and enthusiasm. Explained what he found and what condition the HVAC system was in followed by what improvements were very necessary as priorities and what was optional improvements plus broadly estimated costs .Mr. Peterson handled my questions and concerns very agreeably. Our technician Jeremy did an awesome job. He was on time and quickly diagnosed what the issue was. Charged $4000 for water heater and softener but didn’t replace the piping and wanted us to spend more money so it would properly work just months after we purchased it. Very dishonest company. We had to have someone else get it venting efficiently which was such a bummer.

My experience with HomeWorks has been nothing less than amazing. They have gone above and beyond my expectations. They where very direct and professional when it came down to explaining what they where doing. They broke the terms down to make it very detailed. I have used them two times already in two different homes. One was with my mother and she was amazed on how well her new furnace works. I had them install a furnace and A/C in my personal home. When the technician arrived he explained what he was going to do. He told me he was going to install the furnace like if it was in his own home and he was not lying. The vent work was redone the area he worked in was left cleaner than what it was when he got there. I was just amazed on how nice it looked. After he was done he explained how all of it worked along with the peace of mind that HomeWorks would submit the rebates on my behalf! The quality of the work was worth every penny and for what I paid for to get both a furnace and A/C it was well worth it.

Mason did a great job doing the annual draining of my water heater and check up. He also found a water pipe pinhole leak and repaired that. I had spent nearly 3 weeks getting very high estimates and many sales pitches to replace my failed 40 year air conditioner. I was close to finding a suitable price but wasn't quite satisfied so found this company in google search. They called me almost immediately after I requested a quote. Scott (from Homeworks) called me back and asked me a few questions and beat the competitors price by $ 100.00 but only if I installed it that same day. Initially, I was skeptical looking for tricks or sales pitch of some sort but after his quote I accepted and they started installing a couple of hours later. There were 4 trucks and many employees They did a great job and cleaned everything up very well. I am very satisfied with this service. The link that was texted me afterwards for google reviews did not work after repeated attempts so went to the actual site. You might want to look in to that (invalid URL error) Thanks all.

The people at HomeWorks Plumbing, Heating & Air are great. Jerry, the technician that came out to our house, was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He inspected our boiler gave us maintenance tips to prolong its life, informing us on how to properly bleed, fill, and monitor the PSI of the system.He didn't start any work without talking with us about it first and similarly talked with us about issues that may arise and when to possibly expect them instead of insisting that something had to be replaced that day.Honestly, it is a breath of fresh air to deal with a company that values their clientele and doesn't try to take advantage of them. I will definitely be using and recommending HomeWorks going forward.

Thomas was so prompt, knowledgable and detailed in his work. He answered all my questions and provided me with lots of technical information about my furnace and air conditioner - he is so educated not only in the (furnace) heat inspection I hired him for but also in air and was able to help me see the connections of these components in my home as a system rather than someone who can only offer 1 area of expertise or specialty. This ability to help me see how the whole system connects allowed me to make the best decision for my home and future finances. I am so grateful and will definitely reach out to him for all my future needs.

This is a ex-family member from Hero Plumbing and is ripping people off!!!I am extremely dissatisfied working with them! Would NOT recommend!!! Call them at your own risk or if you have an extra $1K you want to blow.First, they charged me $300 flat fee to find the leak, which took less than an hour. The plumber told me the leak was caused by a clogged drain, but as informed they DO NOT FIX clogged pipes. You need to call another company for that. I thought that is what plumber do? So instead of another $300 house call, I was able to unclogged the drain myself for $30 worth of tools. I also fixed a small section of pipe where the leak was for $45 in PVC and a coupling. Then I called Homeworks to cancel the repair which I prepaid $899 for, which is the minimum charge for work even if it is just tightening a fitting. After talking to them about fixing it myself they would only refund half. They said the other $450 is for the expertise in determining the cause of the leak, which they DID NOT OR WOULD NOT FIX. Remember this plumbing company does not fix clogged pipes. Also they do not fix the holes they put in your walls because that is not the plumbers job. All told it cost me $750 for this hole in my wall and for them to remove, with a screwdriver, a short section of pipe in a about 15 minutes of work. I had to do unclog the drain, replace a small section of pipe, repair the walls myself!I am completely frustrated and do not recommend using HomeWorks!

Replaced sump pump and dealt with related pipe issues. Excellent service. Explained options for dealing with my problems without pressure to select the most expensive solution. Would definitely call again for future service.

I have posted the exact same content below for my Yelp of HomeWorks. I suspect they are manipulating their Google reviews. See the terrible Yelp rating. I also received a postcard from HomeWorks thanking me for my google review BEFORE I left one! I think these 5-star reviews are fake.I contacted HomeWorks and two other plumbing companies for an estimate for several plumbing projects. I had no experience with the company and didn't know anyone who did. The estimator made a big deal about putting on his shoe protectors when I said he didn't have to. He said, Oh, we HAVE to wear them. Everything was focused on how much they cared about their customers and took care of the customers' homes as if they were their own. Then he proceeded to quote me $12,000 for my projects. Other well-rated, reputable plumbing companies' estimates were less than 10% of that (less than $1200). Really? Just how dumb do you think I am? Today, I was flushing my water heater and noticed that he'd slapped a sticker on my water heater that says, DO NOT REMOVE and has their number on it to call for maintenance. We never even hired these people. They want 10 times the amount I should have paid. I guess they have to charge more for their expensive marketing campaigns and vehicle wraps. Sorry, your marketing budget is not my problem.The estimator also turned the heat down on the water heater to the mininum setting. Hmmm. Maybe he was hoping I'd call them to say it's not working without bothering to check it? Beware if you're female and/or have what appears to be an expensive house. Also, I can't believe the difference between their Yelp rating and their Google Reviews. Something seriously hokey going on with the Google reviews. Shysters.

A guy named Rip came out to my house and was extremely professional, courteous, and intelligent. He was able to identify the problem and resolve it in 1 visit. I will have this company service my house going forward.

Great experience with Michael. FIrst off, the scheduling for him to come out was super easy, and they followed up twice letting me know when he was going to be out. That alone is an amazing step up from most other service type places we deal with in our lives. Once here, he was very friendly, and knowledgeable...told me about the company and his background to set the stage, then got to checking things out. He quickly identified that not only was our water heater likely in worse shape than we had figured, but our water softener that we've been mindlessly putting salt into for however long wasn't actually working at all! So, bummer for the pocket book, but glad that he was so thorough. After the inspection, he clearly walked through some options, gave some recommendations, and asked how I'd like to get the info. Very shortly after he left, I received a detailed quote to figure out which direction we we will be going. Overall very satisfied with the interaction, no we just need to make a decision!

Great customer service, every technician that has ever come to our house has shown us the utmost respect and been extremely thorough and detailed in their explanations. I never feel rushed or pressured into buying extra services or products, but feel they do make recommendations that would best benefit our home. Special shout-out to Tina and all the work she did last summer in our basement. Great sense of humor and extremely detail-oriented (she was so so good with our baby and our pup who just wanted to follow her through the house), and to Jeremy who we worked with just recently but was very personable, friendly, and put me at ease as he took the time to make sure I understood everything he recommended and that he was meeting every expectation I had for him that day. Jerry was great! Super informative and took the time to go over everything with us. Careful attention to detail and explained what was wrong with our old AC. He even stayed with us until we got the estimate and financing sorted out with Scott in the office, who was also super helpful. We aren't rolling in the dough, but these guys were willing to help us figure out how to finance a new system so we can properly maintain our home. Both were super personable and great to work with and I'm appreciative!

He taught me a lot of things about my AC that I didn't even realize, so I am thankful to him and his patience in trying to help me learn. He did not try to sell us things we didn’t need like the last guy. Joe had recommendations for us, but did not push or put pressure on us. We will be asking Joe to come back.

I have nothing but praise for Josh, the plumber that did the work. He was on time, professional, and very skilled. For all the work I had him do he finished it in 3 hours and when the water was turned back on there was not a single drop of water leaking. Again excellent work. My only complaint would be the cost. It was quite expensive but I need the work done since I had some other work I needed to do and I had to have a functioning main shut off working. If they got the price down I would not hesitate in recommending this service, in the meantime be aware you will pay a premium for this this company's service.

I contacted Homeworks regarding the specific Mitsubishi heat pump I was looking to install. I confirmed over the phone that they installed this P-series Mitsubishi equipment before their visit. Greg from Homeworks, upon arrival, had no knowledge or understanding of this Mitsubishi equipment and was not familiar with what a manual J is. If an HVAC contractor is not familiar with manual J or how to appropriately size equipment, then they should not be installing HVAC equipment. HomeWorks is listed as a Mitsubishi “diamond dealer” but poorly represents Mitsubishi. I don’t trust these google reviews; they all look fake or paid for.

I had contacted 2 other plumbers; the first did not return my call and the other was a no-show. HomeWorks was very responsive and gave me updates on when the tech would arrive. The appointment was scheduled for 8:00-10:30 and he arrived at 8:01 and was finished by 8:40. The only negative was the cost; almost $500 for replacing a gasket. Otherwise, HomeWorks provided a great experience.

Chris did a great job on his service visit to our house to check our furnace! He quickly found the issue, and he also fixed it quickly. Everything was covered under our warranty, which was also nice.

Steve from homework’s came by my home for a free furnace tune up and made the process very easy. The initial scheduling was easy and quick. I had to reschedule my first appointment though because the weather reports were forecasting a winter storm that day. So I don’t fault the company at all for wanting to reschedule.The appointment office called before the visit to see if Steve could head over at the start of the window and I said yes. Steve showed up at the start of the window a few minutes later. He was in and out within an hour. Didn’t pressure me into any additional work but went over what he did and gave me a few recommendations. The overall process was great and I would work with the company and Steve again.

I had a Service tech come out today for a Complementary AC tune up. I was under the impression that a tune up was to make adjustments or replace part’s needed. We’ll what I didn’t know was it was a Complimentary inspection, and I was told I needed many repairs to my older furnace and my 2 year old Central air unit. I think I’ll get a second opinion, on my repairs. I’m writing this review hoping they didn’t do something to my furnace or AC to make me have to repair sooner than I planned. Something just didn’t feel right about this experience today with (Homework’s) the service tech (Jared) was Nice and very polite, but this whole experience seemed a bit Fishy to me. Again I pray they didn’t do anything to my Furnace or Central air unit.🙏🏿

Our water main burst before the shutoff valve about 6pm. The town was out within 15 mins to turn the water off at the main. HomeWorks was here first thin the next morning and we had running water by 10am. Needless to say that it’s not fun to have issues like this but in the end the response from everyone was exceptional. The overall experience, quality of work, professionalism, speedy service and reasonable pricing was far better than any other service we have tried in the past. Mason is terrific! HomeWorks is fantastic. We have them on speed dial now and they will be our first call when we are in need.

The final piece to this five star review is that when I was letting him into my home, I had told him that my door knob fell off of the front door and I couldn’t fix it. He then proceeded to fix it. My furnace went out since 11/9/2022 and I brought insurance for my home appliances thus xcel Energy, I have been calling them multiple times and they kept telling me from their repair team will call me but have not get any responses from Xcel Energy. and when I finally get to talk to xcel Energy responses telling me the same and they are not gonna pay ti replace a new furnace even I have insurance with them. So I decided to look online and found Home Works, on the internet and call. Home Work was able to provide service for me within the 5 hrs to give me a new Furnace and complete the installation. Especially Mike (sales man , Jeff the technician and ScottNorstad the production manager) take their time to work with us to explore the cost options without making us felt the pressure to buy. My ac unit stopped working and with google's help, I came across HomeWorks. They were on time BUT I learnt not to work with them again. Ever! First, their technician came and I told him not to do anything as i need second opinion from another company and still he goes ahead replaces froen gas. I was distracted with my meeting and i signed the approval thinking I was acknowledging his visit. So i thought it was miscommunication maybe and I gave it benefit of doubt.I thought of giving them second chance but guess what! Their sales guy ( Peter ) force closes wired thermostat and bent the wire all the way back. Then he tells me call his boss Scott to call a technician to fix it. I called Scott 2 times - he didn't answer. Called Customer service and she said someone will contact me. It has been more than 10 days and still no call. ( Fixed the wire on my own after waiting for 1 hour). But they should have taken the responsibility to fix what they messed up.I learnt my lesson and been telling my friends also to STAY AWAY from HomeWorks !I worked with other companies since then who were much more caring and professional !I would AVOID HomeWorks based at all costs ! All they want is money without care or professionalism.

On the coldest night of this spring, our furnace went out. It was the middle of the night. We weren’t going to freeze so I could wait until morning. In the meantime I had shut the circuit off and rebooted it. The heating system came back on seem to be doing just fine. I had left messages online for this company. They responded right away in the morning and asked if they could come out for a free inspection just to make sure everything is OK. There were a few minor things that could use some attention, and they were able to do the maintenance on the spot.

Had a great experience with Josh and team. Really good problem solving, offered great advice and were honest and informative throughout the whole process. Will definitely be using Home Works for all our needs going forward!

The CSR on the phone was kind and provided good and quick service, and the process was easy to book an my free tune-up and cleaning appointment. Technician text messaged me when he was on his way. Jerry, the Technician, was very thorough and great at communicating the tune-up. Due to the cold weather, I didn't get the AC looked at. When Jerry was done with the tune-up inspection, he said there would a mark up on the cleaning itself, which was not was communicated over the phone and I assumed it was free as stated in the initial conversation. When Jerry called his boss Bill, they walked me through there process and were extremely helpful in explaining everything.After we worked everything out, I was pleased to say, that I would recommend their services and will be using them again.

My furnace was out and it was getting pretty chilly around here. Brock came in less than 30 minutes and got the problem fixed. He took lots of pictures and a video to show us what was wrong and to document what he did. I then signed up for regular maintenance from this company. They are great.

Haven't decided if I am going to have the whole system replaced yet, but both of my appointments (tech with Jerry Soung and replacement bids with Tyler Heitmann) we very professional and I got the exact info I was looking for. I especially appreciated that they wore masks and booties while they came through the house. HomeWorks also does a great job at keeping you updated with appointment scheduling, and they text and call you when your tech is on your way. Seems like a very well run company at first glance!

HomeWorks has turned out to be the most unprofessional company I've ever hired to do a job. They sent out a plumber whose behavior was nothing short of that of a bully, who was combative, argumentative, and pushy when we dared ask questions any consumer should be invited to ask, like Why so expensive? His conduct in front of his younger, less experienced colleagues was atrocious and I have zero confidence in the quality of work they performed. The company's customer service was no better. We had one conversation for which the company didn't even offer to come up a with a remedy to the very serious complaint we made regarding this plumber's demeanor and attitude. Their statement was Yeah, I'll have to have a talk with him. This doesn't come close to providing satisfaction when I literally felt afraid of this man and have regretted not daring to speak up and send him right out of my house. I left it to my partner (as I was tending to the 10 guests in our home, many who were visiting from out of state and needed hot water to shower!) who attempted to work with this plumber to no avail--when my partner stated to him that he was just trying to ask him questions, the plumber sneered at him and asked whether he was even the homeowner (he is) insinuating that he doesn't have to tend to his concerns, and he also made it crystal clear that he would rather be at his cabin than have to do work in our home. No consumer should ever have to be treated so shabbily by a person performing work at their residence. It created a really miserable experience for us and I have no confidence that management in that company care about the consumers they serve. I have yet to hear back from upper management per my request to discuss this with them. They literally blew me off. What a shameful situation for which a shameless company does business. And don't get fooled by their 100% satisfaction guarantee-the owners of this company must delight in charging $2300.00 for a water heater in a pinch and likely think it is okay that their workers treat people in a cruel and demeaning manner. Think twice before you hire this company to do work. It may be equally as disturbing to you as it was to us.
