Tim from TJK went above and beyond to solve my gas dryer dilemma. He was polite and professional and took the extra time to move an existing dryer from an upstairs location to our main floor laundry. He did this all on his own, making sure to protect our floors and carpeted stairs, cap off the upstairs vent and ensuring the dryer was installed correctly in our main floor laundry room. I would highly recommend TJK. Added bonus was the fact that they were able to get someone out to help me the day after I called!

Just had Jake The Plumber over to fix what we thought would be an easy leak in our sink drain. Plumber Paul came over and was very cordial and transparent about estimated costs, he definitely had his work cutout for him as our issue had to do with a newly installed vessel sink. Overall I was very impressed with the service and professionalism and would highly recommend Jake The Plumber to family and friends.

My biggest complaint is John Anderson did not decline the call when I told him what was wrong. Once he got here he stated he do not work on appliances and he classified a water softener as an appliance. He should have declined before taking the job since it was very obvious that he had no clue how to fix the softener and were not prepared to repair it.

John stated he would be arriving shortly after noon he arrived after four (after noon but not shortly)

He did not have me turn on the water to diagnose the problem he made an assumption it was an O-ring ( I think it was but not the one he thought)

He had me disassemble the water softener

He did not replace the O-ring you returned the same O-ring.

He needed help reassembling the unit I am not sure what he would have done if I was not there.

He was more interested in apparent low water pressure in the kitchen sink than fixing the leaking water softener.

And after all that he had the gall to charge a $150 service charge. That was a least part my fault since I did not ask about the fee. But I also think that fee is steep especially for the work or lack thereof he did not do. I don’t have a problem paying service fees but for what you did I would have expected a discount on that fee.

I had a clogged kitchen sink and tried everything until I finally gave up and called Discount Plumbing. Brendan came, he saw, he conquered. The only thing I didn't appreciate was all of the advertising saying this was gonna cost $94. Well, $169 does not equal $94. They hit you with a service fee too. So, be ready for that.

Right away is right!!!! Fast, courteous and clean service. Fixed the problem!
Of course we had to sanitize after but no big deal.
I picked them over RR as I like to give business to independents.

Rob is FANTASTIC! I'd give 10 stars if I could. He has a problem solver mindset and clearly enjoys what he does and helping people. The clean out in my basement was covered by previous owners during a remodel. He inspected the plumbing and the stack, theorized where the clean out was and called the city of Mtka to get the floor plans and confirm! (He was right - it was where he thought it would be). Talk about going above and beyond! 1 in 100 plumbers would do that, in my experience. Then he and his crew got after it and did a quality job. I was in the other room while he was working and I could hear him talking to his crew mate, saying things like I want to be sure we do this right. So rare to find someone this good, thorough, and vested in his work. Thank you, Rob! You are a true gem!

TJK Plumbing did a same day conversion from our old water heater to a high efficiency power vent water heater, which is a lot more time consuming than a basic change out. Super professional.
