I recently had a pretty large leak in my kitchen wall and was referred to TJK Plumbing in Maple Grove from an uncle that uses them for all of his plumbing work. I was very impressed by how quickly they were able to come to my home and the communication of the time they would be arriving. I want to thank Sid and David for being incredibly respectful of my home, putting large coverings down on my floors and entryway and covering large areas where work was being done. Sid explained everything going on and everywhere he would have to access in my home to repair the leak. Both Sid and David were very kind and my home was cleaned before they left, it looked like nothing had ever been done. I appreciate companies like this and I highly recommend TJK Plumbing!! Lisa K

My husband and I had a floor drain back up in our basement. We called TJK because we saw they had great reviews and they definitely delivered on that. The individual they sent to help us (I believe his name is Ruben, I can't read it too well on the receipt) discovered that we had roots blocking the main line out of our house. He wasn't able to fix it because of the way our pipes are arranged in our 1970's house, but he was able to recommend somebody that could help. That person came out the next day and blew out that line. But, after that, we found that the floor drain was still backed up! So we called TJK again, and Ruben was sent back to our house within an hour. The layout of our pipes was confusing and it was difficult to find the blockage, but he kept trying, found it, and cleared it out. We can use our shower, toilet, sinks, and dishwasher again! Will definitely call TJK in the (hopefully distant) future if we're having plumbing problems again. They're so timely, friendly, and reasonably priced! Thanks TJK, and especially Ruben!

TJK Plumbing replaced my kitchen faucet. The technician was cordial, prompt and talented. He helped me problem solve issues from the original faucet being improperly installed. I am very happy with my new faucet. I will definitely call them again.

The Short of It: TJK was easy to communicate with, didn't up-sell, arrived on time, seemed honest from the moment they picked up the phone and were competitively priced. They came recommended by several friends and neighbors. They will be my first call for plumbing needs going forward. I'd highly recommend.
The Long of It: I called TJK plumbing last Sunday morning after my tenants called me to report the water pipe above the meter was spraying a mist into the utility room. On the phone they were helpful and informed me of the weekend cost vs. waiting until Monday and offered appointment times both days. I chose to bear the weekend price which was still very reasonable.
The plumber called when he was on his way and then called me a short time later to explain he'd found a pinhole leak near the shut-off valve and told me the cost to replace it. He was very personable on the phone and he was done within an hour.
It was refreshing to have a service provider simply explain the problem and the costs without trying to up-sell me anything.
They emailed me the invoice so I could pay online, and also sent a bid for a recommended service in the future that seems in line with preventing a similar leak from happening.
I would highly recommend TJK - Such a dramatic difference in service compared to the big-box plumbing companies I've had the misfortune of throwing money at in the past.

We've used TJK (and their drain cleaning service, Augie's) several times and always been happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism/timeliness of the employees. Kyle and Josh came out this morning to clear a shower drain and take a look at the main line. We've often had root issues, but they used the camera to show us that we didn't need roots cleared — but did need to address some growing cracks in the line. They were helpful, friendly, and worked quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend.

I had a outdoor faucet that was leaking to the point that we had to turn the house waterline off to stop it. We were able to get it fixed the next day professionally and punctually. I appreciated the quick response and have used Tjk for a number of years now with great results

I called to set up an appointment. 15 minutes later Brad called back and said he would be there in 15 minutes. He knew exactly what the issue was when he arrived. It took less time and money than I was expecting. Brad's humor and explaining what and why he was doing what he was doing made the time go by fast and calmed my nerves. I would call TJK back again if needed. Five stars don't do justice.

Great experience with TJK plumbing and specifically the plumber Josh who came out to my place. He was nice, thorough and helpful walking me through the process along the way. He is super experienced and made the whole process a lot less stressful! Super timely and great communication.

Kyle was on time and started working right away. He explained what he was doing and the cost involved. He could not fix the issue at first and then went above and beyond to go ahead and continue to work on it until it was fixed. He cleaned up great and was very professional. Called TJK on short notice and they were able to come out the next day. Brad was great. He was on-time, professional and walked me through everything that needed to be done. I don't think there is any reason to call another plumber.

We called TJK for a leak in our water softener. They sent a plumber out to take a look, and he did a great job of explaining our options. We ended up purchasing a new water softener due to the age of our existing water softener and the issues we were experiencing. I appreciated David's attention to details and how he walked us through what we would expect with the new water softener. We shopped around and found that TJK had a really competitive price point compared to other local plumbers,. TJK was timely and make quick work of switching out the water softeners. We also found that one of our drains was clogged the night before they came out to replace the softener, and they quickly took care of that issue for us as well without any hassle.

We had a cast iron toilet flange that needed to be replaced. He ended up cutting a couple feet of the pipe and replacing it with a new PVC pipe and collar, attached to our existing pipe with a mission band. We also had him replace the shut off valve behind the toilet. He did good work on that and worked pretty fast - a couple of hours of work. The part that we didn't like was that he was very pushy when he tried to sell us a new toilet. He said ours would leak (it never has and still hasn't since). The problem is that the toilet he offered us was an American Standard Cadet 3 for $695. That toilet runs around $200 at home depot. We said no about 4 different times and he was clearly annoyed that we weren't buying it. He even wrote it in the invoice that he highly recommended a new toilet and that if he had to come back to put it on, we'd be charged even more, $795 plus the trip charge. All in all we ended up paying $60 for the trip charge, $100 for the new shut off valve, and $595 for the pipe work/new collar (saw off and remove 2' of old solid metal pipe and replace with pvc). He set the old toilet back on for no charge, no warranty. We're happy with the work, but the whole overpriced and pushy toilet interaction was weird and made us question whether the other pricing was fair.

It's really tough getting someone out to service your home appliances as of late, I appreciated being able to have someone come within a week! Josh just installed our new gas dryer for us, he was speedy, professional, kind and very patient when explaining everything to me.

This place is easy to work with and their prices were better than a lot of other companies. Very pleased with their work. They have installed a hot water heater, water softener, and inspected some gas lines for me.

They did a great job and were very reasonably priced. They listened to our needs and did everything they could to make it work how we wanted. We will be hiring them again for our basement bathroom rough-in in the future.

We noticed a leak on our ceiling one morning. We called and TJK came out that afternoon. David was quick to diagnose the problem and a way to fix it. He explained what he was doing and was quick with his repair.

Josh was very up front with the estimate and gave us an accurate idea of how long the job would take. He cleaned the area well when finished and now we have a working tub/shower faucet! The person on the phone setting up the appointment was very helpful and friendly as well.

Our hot water heater died sometime during the night. Within 5 hours of contacting TJK Plumbing we had hot water back in our home, and on a Friday. Dan and DJ were great to work with. They gave us 4 options, explained each, and answered all of our questions. We will be keeping their contact information handy for any of our future plumbing needs.

We had a flooding in the basement form one of the pipes. Called next day and they were able to come out that day and fixed our problem in great timing. I want to thank Rubén for excellent service and for helping me understand what was going on and how to keep it from getting so bad again.

I called TJK last week for a non emergency service, I needed my water heater moved to a different spot for an upcoming basement remodel, and they scheduled a time right then for the next week. The day before they texted a confirmation and the day of they were right on time and got the work done quickly. Would definitely recommend.

We recently purchased a house that we knew needed some repairs. We were getting some insane quotes, so when it came to plumbing we were prepared for the worst. Our realtor recommended TJK. If everyone there is like David, I will only ever use them.
David was very transparent and communicative. He was able to get all the work done in the day and when a new issue arose, he filled us in and helped us determine priorities. He even cleaned up and we never knew he was here. THEN, he had to come back because I broke something in the toilet 10 mins after he left. AND he was super sweet to our attention seeking dog.
I have no idea is the pricing is reasonable, but we could easily afford it and loved the service.

David from TJK was fantastic! Had TJK come out to install a new water spigot on the outside of my house. David gave me a price with a couple options and then after I agreed to the price he started the work right then and there. David didn't make a mess, left my house clean, and did a great job on the actual plumbing work. He checked his work after it was done and found a minor leak (that I probably would have never even noticed) and went ahead and fixed it. Would highly recommend and would use again.

Our water heater went bad and flooded our utility room on a Sunday when my wife was home with the kids. Josh helped her through it and scheduled to fix it the following day. He was punctual, polite, extremely knowledgeable, and fast. He even walked me through how to maintain it. Such a great guy, I can't recommend Josh enough.

Had a leak at the water meter, called TJK Plumbing and someone was here 2 hours later to fix it for us. David W. was great - professional, conversational, polite... He had the issue fixed very quickly and left the work area clean.

Our sump pump stopped working and the water started filling in soaking our basement floors. I called 7 plumbers and left messages. TJK was the only one to return my phone and did so after 9pm. They worked us into their emergency only list and arrived by noon the following day. The technician, DJ, was friendly and efficient but was also very patient with answering questions and explaining the diagnosis. Benson assisted him on the installation of the new sump pump. They ensured we knew how to operate the new pump and provided manuals. And they cleaned up their work area and disposed of trash and materials. Additionally, DJ made sure I knew who and how to contact someone if we have questions.

I called to get an estimate on a gas line move and they were able to send someone over the same afternoon. I have always found them to be friendly and knowledgeable.

I wanted to get my sump pump discharge changed from tubing to hard pipe outside. They wanted to charge $60 for a driving fee, $250 for “diagnostic fee”, and then charge whatever the work is.

Diagnostic fee on what? Nothing is broken. I need some PVC installed. They don’t even credit the diagnostic fee towards a repair, they just rob you of $310.

What a joke.

We had a water leak and needed emergency repair. Adam from TJK was at our house in under and hour(on a Sunday). Adam was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and did a fantastic job. His recommendations were solid. We've scheduled more plumbing work with TJK as well. We will always call TJK for our plumbing needs.

Tim P. came out within two hours of my call requesting service. On a Friday morning, during a snowstorm. I had a leak in the cold water line in my kitchen faucet. Tim P. was able to remove the old faucet, replace the shut-off valves and install my new faucet in an hour. It took a little work to remove the old faucet. The anchor nuts wouldn't budge. Tim did a great job. Friendly, good guy.

Rarely do I write reviews, but I felt like I should do it here. I really appreciated all the work Tim and TKJ Plumbing has done for me. When I called, they scheduled a visit within 2 business days. Very pleasant and easy-going phone manners. I appreciated no rush and no sales pressure. Tim called me 40 minutes before the visit, just like they promised. Very easy-going guy as well. He explained everything really well, gave me options, and never pressured to make a purchase. Came up with clever idea on how to install my reverse osmosis system without drilling a hole in the sink. Great guys, quick service, fair prices. I already have another project lined up for them.

They came, they conquered and they were GREAT!!!! Had TJK plumbing fix 4 different items in my house. A faucet, a garbage disposal, shower head and my toilet. The guy they sent (Sidney) was very professional. He explained what my options were and how I could save money, Sidney was very thorough. I gave him the green light and he went right to work. Got all the stuff fixed in no time, very professional! he explained what he did, I paid him and I'm good until something else breaks. David webber came out to repair a bad valve and was speedy and very nice to me and the dogs 😃

I turned the valve at the main water off so I could replace a few fittings for a bathroom remodel and the valve broke in the off position, so I was unable to open it back up leaving us without water. This happened late Saturday and TJK was able to get Adam on Sunday when everyone else I called couldn’t get anyone out until Monday or later.

Adam was super knowledgeable, friendly, and got the valve replaced in no time! I’d highly recommend!

Brad J did a wonderful job replacing my outdoor spigot and water line inside the house. Very through with his explanation on what he needed to do. Perfect job!

TJK is always my first call for help in plumbing issues. I know they will do a great job. You may want to ask for Brad, but I think everyone that has helped me from TJK are most likely as superior in their field as Brad was on my project today.

Installing a dishwasher was more expensive than I expected ($545), but I thought Josh was great. After he completed the work, I got an estimate from him for some other work. He said that there was no point in doing some of the work - which seems like an honest move.

Lost hot water during the recent cold wave and snow. TJK was out here and repaired within 24 hours despite being swamped with calls!. The repair required knowledgeable and professional plumber Curt to crawl up on our snowy roof and install a vent despite 10 degrees below zero weather! TJK is the best in Maple Grove!!!

We had TJK out to our house to clear some stubborn drains. Jake did a great job explaining what he was going to do and how he would do it. He also made some additional recommendations for an additional cleaning of the sink drain to help keep the system running as smooth as it can in a house built in 1964. Just got a customer for life! DJ is a plumbing ninja. He managed to cap off a leaky diverter to an upstairs tub with very limited, difficult ceiling access. Having Josh over was stellar. He arrived on schedule to fix two gas leaks that were identified in my home. He worked with me to decide on changes around one of the leaks, identified some options, explained them fully, and proceeded with what I chose. He also provided thorough consideration of some additional quotes I asked for regarding some other plumbing projects in this house. The quotes came back quickly (next day since he was over near the end of the day) and were detailed and attractively priced.

We had a leak in our metering horn that took a couple days to discover, damaging some of our carpet. When we did, we contacted TJK and they sent Brad to fix our problem. Brad was prompt, courteous, professional, and did great work.
I wish I could say the same about the City of Maple Grove as our main gate valve is worn and needs replacement. However the city decided not to answer our calls to shut off our water service so the main valve couldn't be repaired.

TJK is the best! In addition to our faucet replacement listed below, TJK also replaced some deteriorating piping near where the water main enters our home. It was a major job! Brad J and Jake S were familiar with the work that had to be done and completed it superbly! Brad J (the lead on the job) was very familiar with the type of repairs we needed. He didn't just do the work and get out; he stayed around to test the new connections and make sure everything was sealed properly. I'm really impressed by Brad's, Jake's and TJK's commitment to quality. If you need repairs, I could not recommend them more highly!

PREDATORY PRICING PRACTICES:
We had a sink drain assembly that was leaking and completely stuck so we couldn't DIY. TJK stated upfront that the cost would be a small service fee plus parts and labor.

When the cost to fix the assembly (parts: $43 at Home Depot) came out to ~$400, the technician THEN told us that there is a $250 minimum for every job.

When questioned about this policy, the tech offered to cut off the stuck lug nut for us at the cost of the service fee, which was very nice of him.

However, it is not me that I'm worried about, but the little old lady down the street who may get taken advantage of by a VERY expensive service that is certainly not advertised as such.

Called TJK Plumbing with a kitchen drain issue, the day before a long, holiday weekend. They fit us in and provided comprehensive, skilled service to repair and replace the faulty plumbing. Brad was very knowledgeable and helped us understand how to keep the system running smoothly, in the days, weeks and years ahead.

Our home had been experiencing extremely low water pressure for a number of weeks. I assumed air had gotten into the pipes since the issue manifested shortly after I drained the water heater. I tried multiple times to remove the air without success, so I called TJK to see if someone could come out and take a look. They originally scheduled someone to come out on a Tuesday, but they called the Saturday before and said they could have Adam come out that afternoon. Adam identified the problem quickly, plus he noticed a bathroom sink had a cracked flange and replaced it while he was here. Adam did a great job and was very professional, yet also super nice and personable.

I called TJK Plumbing for a clogged drained. As a first-time homeowner, I didn't really know what to expect. Tim was very nice over the phone and was able to schedule me in quickly. Overpriced, I was told that was because they're master plumbers and therefore charge way more. I was charge almost $1,000.00 to install a faucet.

We had a pin hole leak in the copper pipe right above our main line above the meter as weeks ago. I called TJK plumbing and TJ was out to our house within about an hour to make an emergency repair. He suggested replacing the old copper tubing from the meter to the softner and to the existing outside line. A few days later, Brad came out and completed the upgrade and also added a new ballvalve shut off above the meter! I could have been more impressed with the quality and efficiency in which the work was completed. TK and Brad were both super knowledgeable and friendly! I would NOT hesitate to recommend TJK Plumbing for any plumbing needs you may have. Thanks TJ and Brad!

I had a leaky shower, and they were able to schedule an appointment for the very first time that would work for my schedule. David worked on my issue, and he showed up right on time, found the leak quickly and fixed it. He was very thorough about making sure it was fixed, and gave me multiple options to address the issue based on my budget. He also was able to find the leak and fix it by creating an access panel in the back of a closet rather than in a more visible spot in the ceiling of the downstairs bathroom, which is where the water damage from the leak was showing, which saved me having to go through the trouble of paying someone else to fix the ceiling. Everyone was really friendly and polite, and very transparent about pricing even from when I booked the appointment, and David did an awesome job!

Well , This time I was having trouble with my kitchen faucet. TIM came and he didn't seem like there was much wrong. But when he checked some more found out that yes there was a problem and he fixed and put in a new one for me. The black rubber washers had broke apart and were blocking the flow. Fixed and helped again with the tub. Now every thing is working great. I have been pleased with every worker TJK has sent to my house. THANK YOU AGAIN.

My Wife and I have used TJK Plumbing before to install a sink garbage disposal and that was a great experience. Monday March 23rd, Brad from TJK came out to help with a pin hole pipe leak on our copper piping that brings in the city water supply. Maple Grove water is very hard and this is the second time we had the same piping our builder installed that sprung a pin hole leak. The builder also had the shutoff valves on the back side of the piping and against the laundry room wall. That made it hard to get to. Brad repaired the leak on something called a meter horn, re-positioned the lever shut off valve to the front of the pipe for easy access. He made some other great suggestions on the configuration to help prevent further leaks. After that I mentioned I would like to have him come out and replace our two inside shutoff valves to our outside hose valves, (spigots). He said he had the time so he took care of that too. Again he made suggestions on the replacement of the old shutoff handles to lever shutoff valves by placing them farther into the laundry room for much easier access for us. Again our builder placed them right up against the outside wall in a place that was hard to get to. Well, I thought we were done until my wife complained about how hard it was to turn on the water handle to the shower. He said it was a Moen brand just by looking at it from a distance!! He had a new valve in his truck and had that replaced in 20 minutes. He had this really nice van with everything he needed in it. He never had to run to Menard's once. Totally a great guy, very professional and would highly recommend Brad and TJK Plumbing in the future.

I have had TJK Plumbing address over the last few years older plumbing issues in our Maple Grove townhouse to great success. All three times the plumbers have been professional, straightforward about pricing before starting the work and offering suggestions for other improvements and estimates. Work has included new water heater, water hammer arrestors, garbage disposal and misc piping replacements.

TJK has been to my house half a dozen times for things like clogged drains, tub spouts, garbage disposal, and installing a water softener. Each time he's done a great job, and the costs for the work done are very reasonable. I would highly recommend for anything plumbing related in your house.

Last week we had what we thought would be a simple plumbing fix, but it turned into an emergency. The water leak in the basement was getting worse by the minute. Our plumber Kurt went above and beyond to get our situation fixed. In order to correct the problem, the water to the house had to be turned off under the driveway by the city. It took Kurt explaining that this needed to be done now, that it was an emergency, then the city sent out 2 trucks.
Kurt stayed with us throughout the process. he and the city worked together. I don't know what we would have done without Kurt!
The basement is now dry. The next time we need a plumber please send Kurt if possible.

Very positive experience. i received a response to my online request in less than 24 hours, with two options for timing for a visit. The technician was prompt and worked all day long to install two sumps in my basement. Josh gave me an overview of the costs and there were no surprises. He was communicative throughout the process. And he answered my questions and offered estimates on other queries.
The only point of dissatisfaction that I have is that there was nothing put in place to hold the 4” guide piping connected to the sump discharge line; while away from home, it slipped off and the sump was discharged close to the house until I returned and checked on it. In my opinion, there should be some way to ensure that this pipe stays in place. Nonetheless, all else was well- done and cleaned up, and I have updated, functioning equipment and greater peace of mind.

I called and wanted to use this company TJK Plumbing Inc., because they were not Hero, Deans, or Bonfe, you know...the places that rip you off. And I also wanted to use TJK because I was told this was a family owned and local business.

We have had so many issues with our house that I know and have used many contracting services and how they operate and we have been taken advantage of many, many times. This is why I post my reviews on Google to warn others.

My kitchen sink faucet broke/leaked and needed replacement, so after replacing the sink on my own (DIY mission) four times, four different sinks because nothing is compatible with old plumbing, mission accomplished. New faucet installed however the sink fittings were leaking and then original cheap drain pipes fell apart after faucet install, I finally gave up. I had TJK come out and they quoted me $375 to fix this, after looking at it. I was very apprehensive on price but after the explanation that the plumber needed a flux capacitor (yes I am making that one up) and a pipe expansion tool that cost a thousand dollars I assumed the services are worth it but I still complained about the outrageous price. I also asked if they provided a Military Discount and the plumber said no! FYI: The website says they do? Hmmm. I also think the plumber's first time customer discount (30 bucks) was added to my repair not discounted....375 plus 30 discount, is 345, total cost was $405. I guess his math is not good. After what felt like 40 minutes the job was done. Two connections to new faucet install, two steel braided lines to water supply and two shut off connectors. Cost $405.00 buckaroo's!!!! I waited to receive invoice from plumber and saw that nothing was itemized on the billing invoice to show labor, parts, or...the explanation of costs for services rendered. I called TJK and explained my situation and how I was not happy about the price after not knowing what I was charged for and mentioned this work should have cost about 120 bucks. Instead of them, TJK working with the plumber to solve my issue, the original plumber called me and tried to explain the services. And of course NO follow up from TJK company as of yet. I was still not pleased after our discussion and it was extremely impossible to try to talk to this plumber, during and after repairs, as he is a very fast talker, doesn't allow you to talk, and talks over you.
I am only assuming this but I think TJK is the company of course representing the plumbers that are self contracted by the company and they work independently under their name, that is my assumption however. I was told by my plumber that I was at $310 dollars just for him showing up. A $60 fee to get here, have the appointment, and rest was his labor cost. So I assuming this plumber is charging 250 bucks an hour for labor if my math is correct? Wow, I should have been a plumber. The pictures below will show you that these parts would have cost maybe 40 bucks at Menards, with 11% discount of course. So if I continued on my DIY journey I would have saved more than 365 dollars. I will provide pictures below for your review and people still wanting to use TJK I would advise and ask a for detailed explanation on every part, labor, and extra fees cost on the project you are having issues with. For me; I personally will not be recommending them to anyone unless they reimburse me 300 dollars as that job to me for the plumber was simple, fast, easy and once again I have been taken advantage of, yes for those wondering.... it was the flux capacitor and pipe expansion tool, which I do not have that got me. God Bless Everyone!

Found this company using an old yellow pages phone book. Not many plumbers are licensed to do gas line work in Minneapolis, and many of those are booked out more than a week. Josh from TJK came the next day, bid the job for a new gas turn-off and stove hook-up, and he was able to do the work a couple of days later. I called TJK Plumbing Inc (and some other companies) at 7 AM on a Sunday morning to get an electric water heater diagnosed and up and running again for a family of 4 with 2 young kids. The owner himself answered, based on what I told him said what he thought was the problem and gave me a clear idea of the charge to come out if I wanted same day or during the normal week hours.

He came out same day, checked things out, it was the issue he mentioned over phone. He told me the total cost before he started the repair. We agreed. He fixed it. The fix has solved the issue. He answered a lot of questions I had to learn what may have happened, how to prevent it in the future. He was very kind and made me confident in what he did.

We noticed a leak coming from our downstairs ceiling when our upstairs shower was running. We called TJK the next morning and within an hour Kurt was at our house. Just had my water heater installed recently. The technician/Installer was great, so nothing to complain there. What i am disappointed at is that TJ (Owner), didn't do what was in my best interest as a customer, and get me an energy star complaint, rebate eligible water heater unit. What really hurts is that the rebate eligible unit cost only $20-30 more than my installed unit and i would've saved in excess of $200+ from gas and electric company rebates. Again, these are the things that gets overlooked and disregard and it hurts customers in the end because at the end of the day, aren't we all trying to save money and get the best value for our hard-earned dollars? Small things and attention to detail makes a big difference. I hope the owner of this establishment put customer first going forward.

TJK is the Best! We had a plumbing emergency occur late at night and there was a technician in my house by 8 AM the next morning. Less than 12 hours from the time i called. Amazing! I talked to TJ the owner who told me they were full but they would fit me in. Incredible customer service. I was very impressed with DJ the technician. Friendly and professional, he explained the problem and covered all the options. DJ made the repair and was done in less than an hour. Thorough and clean, DJ did a great job. Adam was fantastic! He came out on a holiday weekend to fix our water heater and was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. We were very happy with the work he did.

Our water heater went out unexpectedly in the evening. We called the the next morning and they picked up right away and scheduled a window for someone to come out in a couple hours. They were very friendly. I think the technician was named Dan. He was wonderful, very courteous and considerate of our home. We had a main drain clog around 5:00pm, couldn't flush, shower, etc. We called a couple of plumbers we've used in the past and no one could come that night. Saw TJK Plumbing reviews on NextDoor neighborhood site. We called and they said they had to finish up a project and would come after that. We didn't have to wait too long when Rupert called and was over in 5 minutes. Rupert was very friendly and polite, explained what he was going to do and he had us unclogged in less than 30 minutes! He cleaned up and said he would come back in with our bill. He came back and the entire bill was LESS than what another large plumbing company was going to charge us just to walk in the door! Tim came out on short notice to reconnect our kitchen sink faucet and sprayer after we had new countertops installed and handyman was unable to complete the job! He called ahead of time to let us know his ETA. Once he arrived, he quickly identified that the installers had taken a few integral pieces needed (such as flange, sprayer bracket, faucet under mount screws, sprayer top housing unit) and…the new sink mount bracket has been placed too closely to the sprayer opening. Unfortunately, because of this, we were unable to use our faucet/sprayer as originally planned. He provided replacement/repair options along with price estimates prior to proceeding with any work. We would definitely use his services again! A+

I was completely happy with the service Brad and Benson provided. I thought they would come and see what needed to be done and then order supplies. They were able to complete my entire job on the same day! They were very professional and personable. They kept me informed the entire job. They even found a issue I was not aware of. He showed me the concern and gave me a quote immediately then left it up to me if I wanted to repair it. I never felt like he was trying to “up sell” me. As a matter of fact he talked me into a cheaper option that would fit my needs. I will for sure be contacting them again. I felt like they both went above and beyond to make sure I understood how to work my new hot water hear, water softener, repaired outdoor faucet. Brad even walked me through winterizing it for the winter. No this was not a cheap visit ,but the quality and attentiveness and knowledge they showed was well worth it. They even cleaned up and vacuumed before they left.

Overall I had a very positive experience with TJK. I called them in the morning around 9:00am to repair a few plumbing issues that had built up over a few months. They were able to accommodate coming by later that day if I was flexible with timing. The technician, Josh, arrived around 1:00 pm.
Josh was very professional. When he saw I was wearing a mask, he offered to put one on for himself, which made me feel better given my newborn in the house. He was clever; he figured out the source of one of my plumbing leaks was not what I thought it was, but rather something much simpler. This saved me money on what would've been a costly repair. The other items he repaired were well done. The area looked spotless when he was done and now that a couple weeks have passed, I can confirm that none of the issues have arisen again. Will definitely use TJK again.

Daniel M was at my home on March 26 to unclog a floor drain in my basement utility room. On March 27 Josh was here to replace an old toilet that kept running. On April 29 Brad J. was here to repair some leaky piping in the basement and Brad was back on May 4 to replace my 12 year old leaking water heater with a new one. I have used TJK many times since I moved to Maple Grove, I wouldn’t call anyone else. Dan and Jake came today and replaced my outside faucet. I highly recommend them. I have friends that use TJK because of my positive experience.

We had just replaced our furnace. The company tied into the main water line for the humidifier using a Shark Bite valve. This valve failed and the pipes separated when we were not home. A phone call quickly had Brad to our rescue. He promptly repaired the faulty part and notified us we may have issues with the water heater because of this.

The next day the furnace company came back and agreed with Brad's assessment that I needed a new water heater. However, the furnace company would not be able to do the replacement until the next day at the earliest. They were not able to get anyone on short notice in the late afternoon. I suggested in seeing if TJK could do it and they agreed.

After a phone call Brad was back to replace the water heater as well. We had hot water by dinner time. Considering how horrible this experience could have been.... TJK Plumbing and Brad made it as painless as possible. Thank you very much. I would highly recommend.

TJK Plumbing is a great company if you need emergency service! We had a leaking water meter under our stairs in our split level home and the who downstairs area under the stairs and bottom of the steps was full of water. I called the typical big names first (the rooters) and they either didn't answer or I was told it would be a 3 day wait! I explained I couldn't get the water shut off and then just hung up. I called TJK and they said they could get someone out the same night and 10 minutes later I get a call from their guy saying he'd be over in like 15 minutes. He came when he said he would, looked at what was going on and then wrote up a quick estimate and when I looked it over and approved it, he got right to work. He had all the parts he needed in his truck and got it done in no time. He took the time to show me the busted pipe and explained what happened and what likely caused it. Hint: Minnesota = hard water. We paid via our bank card with his portable card reader and gave us a receipt and he was on his way. Super nice, friendly guy who clearly knew his stuff. Their magnet is on the side of our fridge for future reference!

We called TJK plumbing because they were highly recommended by Nextdoor (neighborhood app) and our Realtor. TJK came out the next day on time. Kurt was very gracious, gave us a price up front for the work that needed to be done and finished the job in a timely fashion and cleaned up after the job was done. Let's face it, calling in a plumber isn't cheap. But, TJK Plumbing is reasonable. They have fair prices and do great work. Tim was awesome! He took the time to explain how he would make the repairs (a burst water pipe from over the winter and replacement of both shut-off valves for the main water supply.) He called on his way, as promised, and was on time. If you need plumbing service, call TJK, you won't be sorry.

Our sump pump failed in the middle of a huge rainstorm, which was rapidly turning over to snow. TJK was able to schedule us same-day and in fact Josh arrived on site within two hours. He competently and thoroughly completed the work and then patiently walked me through the new features and basic functionality of the new pump. He did this while the weather was transitioning to a blizzard! Would recommend these guys any time!

TL;DR: A great experience getting a new water heater. We'll be using TJK for all our plumbing needs going forward.

When our water heater developed a significant leak, it was time for a new one. I filled out the contact form on the website, and I had an email response within an hour!

The email response was clear that there was a minimum $55 travel charge, and then the plumber would go over our options once they had seen the situation. They were able to get someone to us the next day, with an 8 am -2 pm window. We were told we would get 30 minutes notice when the plumber was due to arrive.

We only got 20 minutes notice, but he arrived by 8:45 am! I appreciated his care in wearing a mask properly and removing his shoes. Fortunately, it was pretty straight forward. He did some math and showed us the price for the new water heater. We decided to upgrade to an 8 year warranty. Quick, clear, simple.

I was very impressed to learn that the new water heater would arrive in less than an hour! By the time I was free of my meetings at 11 am, we had a new water heater, the space was spotless, and we had an email receipt. I was working in my home office 10 feet from the water heater, and my calls were never disrupted.

As the cherry on top, Kurt even made sure to properly close the yard gate, including using the snap lock we use to keep the dogs from opening the gate.

My standards for a plumber are high, as we used my uncle until he retired. Kurt, you've met the family standard!

I’ve had the opportunity to use TJK Plumbing three times now, and they have been stellar! First, they repaired a botched sump pump install job from another company, and were speedy and efficient.

Next, they tackled a major sump pump winter reroute and the work was done flawlessly. DJ worked up the quote, coordinated with city of Plymouth, and then knocked out a great job.

Yesterday, Adam responded immediately to a broken pipe within my house and had it fixed the same day. Wonderful work, personable, & had it done in two hours!

We had a pipe burst and contacted TJK Plumbing. Adam came out on a weekend emergency call. He diagnosed the issue immediately on arrival. He was able to fix the pipe and leak in a professional manner. Did not rush and did a very nice job. After the work was done he gave us helpful information to avoid such a situation in the future to avoid water bursts that split a line from leftover water in an outdoor faucet pipe that expanded when frozen over the winter. The cost of repairs was very reasonable! Highly recommend this company as this was the 2nd time we’ve used their services over the years.

After having a leaky water pipe from an appliance installation, TJK was the only company who responded right away and also had someone arrive to my house within an hour. Not only was DJ super fast but he also walked me through everything and pointed out other improvement opportunities which are all very reasonably priced. I can't wait to continue using them!

They were responsive and on time and the work was good. But they are VERY expensive. $290 for a simple kitchen faucet replacement and we furnished the faucet. The repair took one hour. I should have trained as a plumber.

Called TJK Plumbing because one of the water supply valves on the toilet started to leak. Turns out when the home was built, the builders installed inexpensive, plastic push/pull water valves on all of the sinks and toilets.
After looking at all of them, they recommended replacing them to avoid future leaks. David and Benson did an incredible job of explaining what needed to be done, worked quickly to make the repairs, and when they were done, I felt assured that I won't need to worry about leaks.

Our kitchen sink started to break away on one side from its mounting and adhesive seal. They were able to send Kurt the next day. The leak was made more complex due to a Reverse Osmosis tank shut-off valve that has what I imagined was a rare/proprietary fitting for the R/O tube going to the filter. Not only did he somehow have a part in his van that would work for this, but he made the whole configuration much easier to access and overall better and stronger. I will definitely use TJK again.

Josh from TJK provided a great plumbing service. Quickly came to our house early in the morning, fixed the problem within the hour and had the piping fixed and payment was easy. Kind, professional, great service. Highly recommend.

On Thanksgiving Day 2021, our kitchen sink drain pipe broke where it connects to the base of the sink. TJK was able to send someone out the next day (thank goodness!). The next morning Josh called when he was 30 min. away and showed up on time. Once here, he installed a new basket strainer, tailpiece and dishwasher wye and adjusted the existing piping so that it was properly pitched which improves water flow. He siliconed everything, but also vertically zip-tied the pipe to help keep it in place. That will help. Josh also cleaned the outside of the pipes as they got splashed by dirty water from the leak and checked for a possible clog in the trap. He had quoted prices to us prior to starting work so that we knew what to expect. All in all, a great job and our plumbing issue was resolved quickly.

Our drain stopped up before we left for the weekend. Our property manager got an appt for monday and the guy couldn't make it. He called in sick again on tuesday so they sent Jake instead. I have used TJK Plumbing 3 times in the last 4 months.

In April 2021, I had them replace my water heater that went out and replace a malfunctioning and botched DYI (previous homeowner) water softener install. I called them around 7:30 am, and they were out by 9:30 am that same day. They installed a Rheem Professional 50 gallon, electric, hot water heater and a North Star water softener. I was so impressed by their prompt and professional service, that I have used them for all of my other plumbing needs.

Daniel has since been out to my home twice. The first time he was out, he repaired a leaky trap and drain assembly on a bathroom vanity. The second time he was out, he replaced the single-use, plastic water shutoff valve for the water/ice maker for my fridge. He is very professional and personable. He is on-time and works efficiently. He is incredibly knowledgable, not only answering my questioning, but in guiding me through related plumbing needs.

Just used them, very happy with the outcome. Called around 7am and needed emergency visit because of leaking pipe. They said someone would show up between 8-4, and would call 30 minutes prior. We called TJK Plumbing to help with some old, shot shower valves. We have previously used them for a drain cleaning. Our tech was very prompt and communicated clearly before arriving, so we knew exactly when he would arrive. He quickly diagnosed the problem and provided an accurate quote. Most shockingly, he told us it would take about 3 hours to complete the job and he was nuts-on correct. Combine that with very friendly service and that's a win! We will definitely use TJK again!

I had TJK install a new water heater. I called early in the morning and had the water heater installed by about 3pm the same day. Good customer service. Their prices are in line with some others that I called and lower than a few. The quality of work seems to be good. Haven't had any issues in the 2 weeks since it was installed. All in all, a good, easy experience.

I had an unusual toilet leak where the water was leaking at the base . I only noticed it because there was a darker shadow showing thru the lenolium. Also, there was water dripping from a chase in the bathroom below.
Josh was able to determine why the water was leaking in the basement bathroom and it was from the upper toilet.
The upstairs toilet is old and it was a wax ring failure. He found the problem and solved both issues.
He was outstanding with his knowledge.
He was very courteous and kind and cleaned up any messes that occurred.

Our main drainage had a block causing our basement drains to back up. Daniel was able to clear it, and spent time explaining to two plumbing novices what he was doing and what we can do to minimize problems in the future. Thank you so much!

All the tech that were on site were fantastic. David was especially great covering all details once he was finished with install. If it was just the techs I was dealing with I would have given 5 stars. But the fact that they charged me two $60 trip charges in the same day I think is ridiculous! After they came out to give me an estimate I wanted to get a second estimate. Less then two hours later I decided to move forward with TJK. I nicely asked if they would wave the second $60 trip charge.
They declined.$120 in trip charges is ridiculous.

If we could, we would have given 0 (zero) star. TJ was brought in to our house by a seasoned contractor who was renovating our laundry room. The initial estimate that our contractor set aside for this work was $562.50. All TJ’s folks had to do were to bring in the washer and the dryer from the adjacent garage to the laundry room, set the water connections to these two units, install a new DURATUB laundry sink, set water connections to the new laundry sink, and connect the dryer vent to the existing vent. TJ also provided some materials including braided supply tubes. The bill for the work that TJ provided was $1398, a whopping 248% increase! We thought we were completely ripped. When we complained to our contractor, the contractor did understand our frustration and he took a hit on his profit margin.

David was prompt, friendly, and fast. Ge explained what he was doing and how long it would take. I would recommend!

We had TJK come out and add a new line for our outdoor irrigation system to be replaced. Our service tech, Tim, noticed a leak on meter horn and recommend replacement while he was there. He shared that with maple groves hard water these were known to go bad and cause major headaches. Glad to have fixed a minor problem before it became a major issue!

These guys were fabulous! We had a nasty leak from a recently replaced shut off valve. They were able to come quick, within 1 day and charge us the normal rate. Other plumbing companies (Benjamin Franklin and other bigger names) were going to charge us nearly double to come within a day. They were timely, friendly --- and so far, a job well done !! Thanks to Sid who was very polite and professional. We will definitely use you in the future if needed. They also do 1 year parts/labor warranty. Pricing was comparable to a few others, but as mentioned, lower than several and they were able to come within 24 hours! Quote was nearly spot on. Sid also explained a few additional helpful details (backsplash plate, info on why the first fix wasn't successful...) JUST AWESOME!

7/26/19 UPDATE: my wife and I had a break in 70-year old cast iron pipe. Daniel stopped the backed-up water, located the break, and coordinate the excavation and replacement all within a week. The cost was more than reasonable. The entire team at TJK have been a great asset for my wife and I. These guys are personable, timely, hard-working, and transparent. What else do you need to know!?

Within 30 minutes of my mom calling, Brad showed up in the pouring rain to fix our entire sump pump set-up as it was failing and water was pouring in at an alarming rate!! Brad assessed the problems and communicated them without trying to ‘push’ us into purchasing/fixing anything. He respected that children were napping at the time, was efficient in replacing the pump, explained all he did to resolve the issues and even cleaned up after! Very satisfied and would recommend!

Stayed 15 mins, took two screws off of my dishwasher and told me the hose was leaking and that they can’t help. They charged me $120, $55 for the drive over and $65 for 15 mins . The guy that came even felt bad.

Our water heater broke on a Friday evening and, thanks to TJK Plumbing, in less than 24 hours our old water heater was removed and a new one was installed. Adam and Kyle came out on a Saturday and worked efficiently to get the job done. Adam then walked us through all the work that had been done and even gave us handy tips that every homeowner should probably know but we didn't! Adam and Kyle provided great service and we would not hesitate to have them work in our home again.

I came home to a wet basement when my sump pump failed. Josh came the next morning and installed a new sump pump. He reviewed the setup and gave me a quote which was reasonable and I knew necessary. While he was here I asked about a quote for a water heater as well since my current water heater was old and needed to be replaced. He gave me a quote and was able to install it that morning as well. Needed to replace leaking water heater for 93 year old mother. TJK willing to come out on a Saturday but indicated much cheaper to wait til Monday. Came Monday exactly on time after promised phone call to give notice of arrival. Technician Joshua was efficient, professional and friendly. We accepted his quote (he did not pressure us in any way. Simply said if you choose us this is what it will be). While more than expected the job was also far more complicated. He was replacing a 30 year old heater that was so far off code he basically needed to restructure the whole setup. In the end, the price was more than fair. The workmanship was exemplary. He followed up with checking with my mother about temperature and adjusted it for her safety. He was very respectful of her and what she needed. I can’t say enough good things about the service he gave us. TJK and Joshua are now my go to plumbers!

We had Danny M as our plumber from TJK and he was fantastic. We called TJK for help with drainage issue with our sink and to clean out our sewage line. Danny actually called out a fix for down the road that will save us a lot of money for an issue that was missed during our sewer line inspection (by another company) when we bought the house last year. How do I select 6 stars? TJK is the absolute best in plumbing in the Twin Cities! We have been using them for years now and would not think of calling anyone else. From our very first time with them to our appointment this week, they have been wonderful to work with, are a tremendous value, and more importantly -they do what they say they will and more! We had Benson in our home installing and removing an old sink and faucet (while disconnecting and reinstalling our garbage disposal). What I thought was just a consultation visit to the house ended up being same day service (yes! Same day in this era of COVID's impact on businesses and long wait times!) TJK has came out to help me last year when it snowed 18 inches and no one else could make it. Ever since then I've trusted them to be my go to plumber. This week Kurt did an excellent job replacing some hard water copper piping with Pex, replaced a water softener and water heater. Now things are much better and I felt the price was reasonable. Kurt is extremely friendly and does an exceptional job explaining everything.

Our water heater gave up the ghost on a Saturday. I called TJK and I spoke to a great representative who shared that a technician was available to come out to our home in about 2 hours. Being that it was a Saturday, I didn't really expect such prompt service, Our technician, Sid, called before he came out and told us within the minute of when he would be arriving. By the way, it was under 2 hours. Sid was professional, courteous, and explained the installation process. Sid shared that he needed to go back to the shop and pick up a water heater and told us what time he would be back. He came back at the exact time he told us. Sid was very careful and thorough throughout the whole removal and installation process, placing blankets down on our hardwood floor and carpeting. Sid also set up the temperature setting, explaining how to turn it up or down. The area where Sid removed our old water heater and installed the new one was left extremely clean.
While the removal and installation wasn't cheap, it was well worth the price as this was certainly an emergency job.
Thanks to Sid and TJK. I will certainly be calling them again for future services.

I had a weekend plumbing repair pop up, and they were easy to get ahold of, asked detailed questions about my plumbing problem, and had a tech out to my house within 2 hours of my call.
Kyle was my repair tech. He called ahead to let me know he was 20 minutes away. Kyle was professional and explained the possible causes of the problem, which services/repairs to try first (and follow up services/trouble shooting if it was needed) and the cost of each service. He was able to quickly repair my problem, double checked to make sure everything was working, and left the area clean when he left.
Calling, scheduling and receiving the service call were all top notch. I would definitely recommend this company to others!

We're brand new homeowners and needed a plumbing company that seemed trustworthy and affordable. There were two issues that needed addressing: one was our kitchen sink would drain slowly when washing dishes for a few minutes. The other was our basement bathroom's faucet had a slow drip when turning on the hot water. Two technicians were sent over to fix the separate issues. Larry worked on the draining issue and Dan worked on the bathroom faucet. Both technicians were professional, friendly, and hard working.

I was especially pleased with how the drain problem was solved: At first Larry tried jetting, but it didn't solve the problem. He then used a 100 drain snake machine that successfully cleared the pipes. Even though the jetting was at a higher price point, we were only charged the lower price for the snaking. As for the faucet, solving that issue would require replacing the unit, so we declined the fix for another time, even though Dan could have made the replacement on the spot. There was no pressure to make the fix, which was greatly appreciated. So the only cost for Dan was the combined $60 travel fee for both technicians. Not bad! We'll likely use TJK again for our plumbing needs.

I've had to use TJK several times in the last few years. You never want to need a plumber, but whenever a plumbing issues has occured, they always provide service beyond my expectations. They have done at least half a dozen jobs for me over the years and i cannot thank them enough for helping me in a timely manner, they have even helped me short notice on holidays. TJK was recommended by a friend because she felt they were fair and honest - a not so common characteristic now-a-days. I needed to find someone right away since we had a major pipe leak from our kitchen into our basement. I made an appt and they were accommodating of my schedule and showed up when they said they would. Brad was up front about all pricing and fixed the problem, along with a second one he found when I asked him about something else. Plumbing work is not cheap, but I found TJK to be reasonable given the project and when I asked about other work Brad gave me ideas and didn't try to sell services that weren't immediately needed. While traveling we had a hot water heater fail (nightmare). I emailed TGK and with in 10 minutes had a response. They were able to send out a technician in 2 hours. Brad did a great job not only with the installation, removal and clean up but he took care of the warranty exchange for a unit they did not even install! This not only saved us over $1000 but the headache of dealing with the manufacture ourselves. By the time brad had finished the installation we were on the flight back home. Not only did we have hot water when we arrived, they took payment the next morning. Just a great experience! We will use in the future. Thanks to everyone who was involved.

Brad was great - showed me exactly what he was going to do and why, plus the area was cleaner when he left than when he started. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Over the past weekend we experienced some minor flooding in our basement. Minor flooding when it's raining pretty hard makes things difficult to figure out whom to call for resolution. I did make a wrong call. I called a couple of plumbers but apparently our flooding was caused by an obstruction in our main. Ruben came out from TJK and evaluated the situation and not finding the 4 pipe talked of committing himself to the time in pulling off a toilet to be able to clear the obstruction. With our flooding filling bathtubs and shower basins, we'd probably need to get a bigger shop vac. Yikes!

We have access to the main in the driveway and I mentioned we have it; he said, let's have a look. Turns out we were able to use the driveway main access but it was damaged, presumably upon installation. The damage prevented the use of the bigger cutting blades but he was able to use the smaller 3 blade. Within five minutes of using the auger he was through the soft obstruction. Keep in mind it was raining pretty good and we were both getting soaked. Heck, there was probably a quart of space available around the access pipe and it filled in a couple of minutes (we have gutters on the house).

After the the obstruction he used the endoscope and verified the cleared blockage. We then confirmed the filling bath tub and basins drained along with flushing the toilets. Yay!

The folks from TJK were very responsive, from Thomas the person I talked to on the phone to Ruben who came out. They did a fine job of managing our expectations while being responsive to our concerns. Thank you the crew of TJK. I was afraid we'd be spending the next few nights at a hotel and talking with insurance folks. Thankfully we're comfortably ensconced at home. I would highly recommend these guys. And we didn't need to get a bigger shop vac.

Prompt service. Josh and Jake were able to replace the shower faucet in a tight space without having to cut through the sheetrock on the sidewall in order to get at it.

We discovered a pinhole leak in our main waterline on a Sunday morning. I called TJK Plumbing and their Tech (Brad J.) arrived within 90 minutes of the call. Brad was very conscientious and demonstrated concern and effort to help us keep our costs down for the emergency service call. Brad also found that we had a faulty pre water meter valve that would need to be replaced during a 2nd visit as we would need to contact our local Department of Public Works to coordinate a water shut-off at the street so the valve could be safely and properly serviced. I also asked Brad for a quote of some additional work on a leaky outdoor spigot when he returned to replace the pre meter water valve. Brad's Scope of Work/Price Quote was detailed, clear, and accurate. Although plumbing service/repairs are never cheap (especially on a Sunday!), I felt TJK's pricing was fair and competive. I will definitely use TJK Plumbing, Inc. again for any of my home's future plumbing needs.

We recently had the floor drain in our basement back up and cause some flooding. We texted TJK Plumbing and got a response within 30 minutes to schedule a service - amazing! The scheduler was kind and got our appointment scheduled quickly for the next day.

Kyle came out to help us fix the issue. He was very respectful, did a thorough investigation of the area and gave us a couple of options on how to proceed with our backed up floor drain - all while being very transparent about the amount of time it could take and what the cost would be. He then put a camera into the floor drain and helped us determine why the issue happened in the first place! The service was quick and Kyle is great at what he does, polite, and professional! TJK is our go-to for plumbing needs and we recommend them whenever the opportunity arises!

We've used TJK for 3 projects at our home now, each time has been with a different tech/plumber and each time we have been entirely satisfied with the professionalism and quality workmanship. This time Brad and Dan came and within 4 hours they had the old water heater out and a new one installed and running. I am an idiot and cut a gas line while trying to replace a drain line. After calling several plumbers, TJK was the only one that could get me in within 48 hours. The price they quoted was fair enough that I even let them finish the work I was doing on the drain line and everything was completed the day I called. David seemed to be working hard with little to no breaks and communicated everything well. My last plumbing job was by Dean’s and was overpriced (as I later discovered) and seemed less competent.

I had noticed a miscellaneous leak coming from around my laundry tub for awhile. I finally decided it was about time to get it fixed. I called TJK Plumbing and they came out that same day! DJ and Kyle located the leak and also noticed a lot of corrosion on my 20+ year old laundry tub. After explaining everything they found, they fixed the leak and were also able to replace the laundry tub. About 2 weeks later I had another plumbing problem. I noticed orange stuff coming from my softener. I called TJK Plumbing again and they were able to get Brad out same day on the weekend. He saw right away that my softener had blown and was starting to leak resin. He was able to install a new one same day and made sure all my lines were clear. Everyone who I had out was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and clean. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing issues.

I had Josh from TJK Plumbing come out to provide estimates on a laundry list of plumbing repairs I had at my home. TJK was able to come out quickly and had a very affordable trip charge compared to others I researched. Josh explained everything to me in a way I could understand and also provided insight on what needed to happen first/what was most important to resolve quickly. I scheduled TJK shortly after comparing quotes with other companies and they were back out to complete the work quickly--they even had an appointment the same week!

We've had no problems with the work done (replacing 10' feet of pipe, installing a new outside hose connection, and replacing the pipes/valves before and after my main shutoff valve) and everything looks great.

He even warned us of potential expenses that could incur (didn't end up happening but it was nice to know before hand of the risks in the project). I found a pipe fitting on the water service to my house that was leaking at 11:00 pm, so I contacted TJK via email and had a response right away to set up an appointment. DJ came out at 9:00 am the next morning and fixed the issue within an hour. I was very impressed with DJ's knowledge and professionalism and will absolutely work with TJK in the future. TJK came out the next day after I called to replace my outside faucet shut off valves as I was having a problem getting the water to shut off. I ended up having 4 valves replaced, including both of the main shut off valves. They also coordinated with the city to have the water shut off. Due to the scheduling with the city they ended up having to come out 2 days, but they communicated to me every step of the way, got the job done quickly, at a fair price and they do great quality work. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly and professional. Josh and Brad were both great and I would not hesitate to call TJK again if I need plumbing services.

I’ve been using TJK plumbing since 2013 and been very happy with the quality of service. Dan J recently replaced my water shutoff valves. He’s very knowledgeable and always does his job with a smile and great service. The trip charges should be condensed per job instead of adding it up per trip, this would show that you value your customers. This is my only complaint with the business side of things. My 87 year old mother scheduled them for a small plumbing job. First they were very late for the appointment and never called her to tell her they would be late. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate.
Second they charged her over $500 labor for something that took 1.5 hours. Outrageous! Don't use them. I will never use them and I would never recommend them.

Water heater started leaking on Sunday 10/10/21. Called TJK at 1:45pm to inquire about the removal and installation of water heater and water softener. TJK's technician David was here by 10am Monday(the next day) and done by 3pm. David did a fine job of installing and clean-up and hauling all of the old equipment away. Very pleased with the response time, quality of work and pleasant nature of everyone I dealt with at TJK.

We had a gas leak surprise and TJK responded to us right away with a great technician, DJ. DJ came out and fixed our problem with new piping and was kind and courteous during the whole process.

We have used TJK Plumbing several times and have always been very pleased with their service. While it's never fun to have to call the plumber, TJK makes it a less painful experience. Their prices are fair and they respond very quickly. Most recently, they replaced the shut off valve to our outside water and also replaced the outside spigot. Our technician, Josh, was prompt and very respectful of our property (inside and out). He completed the repair in a timely manner and then did a great job of walking me through what was repaired and how it works.

GOOD to see a lot of 5 star reviews for their service the very 1st time. This is also how I called them. You will know them more only when something fails which they installed. I am sorry to say that I will not recommend TJK plumbing to any one. I have used their services twice in the last 1.5 years for installing my sump pump and also my backup sump pump. They did a good job with the setup but when the backup sump pump failed again their reply back is I need to go and find another person and they are booked for the next 2 weeks. As you all know backup sump's never run unless and until you have a power failure. I haven't had a single failure in the last 1.5 yrs and now $1500 which is paid on my backup sump is a thrash. It appears like TJK plumbing wants new customers and leave the existing loyal customers like me who called them twice and paid almost $2500 in total for their services. They do a good job but won't come back when something which they install fails.

I have worked with TJK Plumbing for many years and have never been disappointed with their service. Today our 11-year-old water heater went out. I called and Brad was out to the hours within only a couple hours. Within four hours of my initial call, we had a new water heater installed.

Very easy to line up an appointment. Josh was the plumber who came to our house and he was friendly, efficient and quoted me a price prior to completing work.

We had a burst pipe and they were very quick to get a tech over to fix it, and he fixed it in no timel Josh did a great job and was very professional, nice solid work!

The initial call was to fix the water shutoff valves, I was told (by another party) that they weren't working properly. I also had been dragging my feet at replacing the old sump pump. Sierra handled my anxious call confidently and professionally and worked to get me a next day appointment.
Tim & Jake were at my door within their appointment window. They thoroughly checked the shut-off valves and to my surprise said they did not need replacing. They educated ne on the different water valves I have and what may have not been done to shut the water supply off.
The estimate given to replace my old sump pump and back up battery was well within what I had researched and close to previous estimates I already had if not slightly lower.
My experience was such that I would recommend TJK Pumbing Inc to family. That says it all.

TJK came highly recommended as a quality plumbing company at a reasonable price from numerous people in the neighborhood.

We told them we were available all day, so we didn't have an exact window that they should be arriving, but Tim called about 15 minutes out from our house to let us know he was on his way.

We walked through everything together and I had a quote up front with no up sale. After agreeing to the estimate, Tim started and finished the work within 3 hours: finding and repairing a kitchen drain leak which included replacing a length of pipe, replacing an outside faucet, and fixing an intermittently running toilet.

After everything was complete, we walked through again so Tim could explain exactly what he had done. Price was spot on to the estimate.

We had a great experience with TJK Plumbing with replacing our water heater! Kurt was knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to work with. He was able to come out the next day after we inquired and finished the job more quickly than we excepted. Will definitely be using them again!

TJK Plumbing has always done a great job for us. This time it was removing old gas lines we found while remodeling. The techs listened to what I wanted done and gave their advice when I asked for it. Professionals that get the job done fast. We have used TJK for many projects and always satisfied with the work done. I even got a quote for our next project, a water line for the new refrigerator. I will see them again soon.

Several pipes of mine were damaged / burst during this past cold winter. I was recommended TJK by a family member and they were able to come out within 1 week. Tim and his crew showed up ontime and was here for 8 hours straight as we hunted for burst pipes one after another. He was super fast and efficient with on-the-spot soldering and repairs, and has impressive knowledge in his domain. I was with them the whole time and after 8 long hours we were able to troubleshoot the areas and put my house's pipes back in working order. Still need to replace a faucet but almost there. Will def keep these guys on my rolodex!

Our water heater was leaking from the base. Called TJK Plumbing and they were out here within an hour on a Saturday. Adam let us know we needed to replace it, went back got a new one the same day, and installed it after already been working for 11 hours. He was very careful around the house setting down drop clothes and a super friendly knowledgeable guy! Let us know everything we needed to know about our new water heater after the installation was complete.

TJK repaired a gas line that was originally installed incorrectly by a different company. TJK was able to schedule an appoint within 24 hours of calling and the technician Kurt was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional! Very fair pricing as I had received a quote from another company for more than double the price! I plan on using TJK for future work!

I had a pinhole leak in our main water line and after a brief call at 7:00 am TJK Plumbing answered my call, explained they see many of these issues in my area. Provided me with an estimate of price and what to expect as well as a window for service for 8:30 am. Plumber arrived within that window and walked me through the whole solution options. All work was done within an hour and half. Very responsive, timely and glad we went this route to give me the peace of mind it was done correctly.

I had an issue where my Moen bathtub/shower handle was really tight to turn off and then eventually quit working causing me to turn off the main water supply to stop the water. I called TJK Plumbing and they were able to make an emergency stop within 4 hours of me calling them. They did charge me a $100 emergency fee on top of their $60 normal service fee. However, Josh the service person took off $40 in a coupon. Total cost came to $440 for parts, labor and service. It took him about 1 1/2 hours to repair. In looking at the cost of the parts replaced it would have most likely cost me about $100 if I did it myself. But that's assuming I did everything correctly and I'm sure if would have taking me several hours more. Most importantly I wanted to make sure it was done correctly so I didn't end up with an unexpected water leak. Its the service and labor fees that are expensive and I don't know that anywhere else would have been any cheaper. All in all I would recommend them and I will use them again. Next time I won't wait and will call as soon as I know there is an issue. Josh was very professional, explained everything to me, and didn't make a mess.

Our first winter in our new house, a pipe burst in the unheated garage that leads to an outdoor spigot. TJK came out and replaced the pipe and located a shut-off valve for future winterizing. Over time, the pipe began slowly dripping and eventually lead to a huge ice dam in the corner of our garage. I called TJK and they responded back quickly and had Josh come out within an hour on a Friday night. We had a stingy backed up drain, which we tried to fix ourselves, but ended up calling in a pro. I submitted a request through the online portal and heard back shortly afterwards. Ruben arrived ready to deal with the backed up drain, and was professional and helpful from start to finish. He was respectful of our space, cleaned up after himself, and worked hard to fix the problem while explaining what and why he was doing what he was throughout the entire process. Quick response…based on many reviews reached out to TJK Plumbing for a faucet repair. They were very quick to send a technician out and upfront pricing …however totally overpriced. The parts (cartridge replacement) cost less than $100 and I was charged 8 times the parts cost for labor for less than an hour repair. As I had the main water shutoff I paid this atrocious amount to resolve issue.

I had a shower leak through my ceiling. I called TJK and Josh call out the following day. He spent 20-30 mins assessing the issue. Once he figured out the problem he recommend a tile guy that would help mix my issue with the shower membrane leaking. He even resealed my shower head and knobs with a fresh cast of water proof sealant. Very helpful!

I have hired TJK/Augie’s four times for various old-house issues. All the technicians have been great–Adam, Larry, Dan, Benson. They come when they say they will come, they bring the right tools and supplies to do the job, and they show no fear of old pipes. Very little cleanup is needed after they finish.

Fantastic service & cheap rates! Daniel made a point to go out of his way in a snowstorm to take care of us as the last appointment of the day. Only disappointment is we are moving away and can't use this service again.

I reached out to TJK Plumbing, Inc, when I had a finding from a maintenance call with another company. DJ and Connor were great; they answered all of my questions and showed me directly what they were doing in checking to see if I would need to have work done. They showed me that the finding from the other company was wrong, so that saved me a good chunk of money.
Their professionality will make me very likely to reach out again when I need plumbing service.

I wrote a review a day ago and TJ called me because it was not a good review. He explained why they didn't call when they realized they would be late for the appointment. They had one number of my phone number wrong so that is why I didn't get a call. Mistakes happen.
Secondly they had two plumbers at my moms for this job when originally I thought they just had one, The job took longer than I expected but they were up front with my mom on what they would charge. This system doesn't allow retracting my bad review from a day ago so this review is a revised one.

I have to say TJK Plumbing being a family business is pretty good. Tim being the technician was knowledgeable and a good manner professional, he trouble shooting our water main and the pipe leading to the faucet outside that has been leaking. Workmanship is good and pricing is reasonable.

Excellent service! Came in on a Sunday night to fix a minor leak!

We called TJK during the January cold snap to deal with a frozen pipe. Despite receiving hundreds of calls that day, TJK was able to send out a plumber in less than two days. Kurt was on-time, professional, courteous, and explained what needed to be done at every step of the process, including explaining the associated costs. He identified the issues and had them resolved in a couple of hours for a very reasonable price. We have already recommended them on Nextdoor!

TJK scheduled my appointment quickly, showed up exactly when scheduled, and was very responsive. David was the plumber that did the work in my home. He was skilled, thorough, polite, efficient, and clearly explained everything to me. There was no pressure to do additional work. He was just about to leave and I asked him to look at something else. He grabbed his tools, which had already been loaded, and readily came back in to do one more thing for me. I would call them again, and ask for David!

We needed a new water line as part of the process of buying a new fridge. I called TJK at 11 and Josh was there by 1pm the same day. He did a job explaining what we needed, giving us an accurate quote, and working efficiently to get it done. I'm going to keep TJK at the top of the list for the next time we need a plumber.

I have used TJK plumbing several times now and it has been a great experience. I had technician David come to put a new water shut-off valve for my dishwasher. I appreciated that he came out so quickly as we were having issues with our dishwasher. David arrived right on time and did a great job for us. Then, I had Josh come out to replace the plumbing under our sink. He was able to resolve a long-standing issue that no other plumber had been able to fix correctly. Again, very courteous, arrived right on time, and did a great job. I know who to call when I need a plumber!

TJK sent an awesome tech out to us same-day when our bathtub began to turn itself on due to a worn out cartridge. DJ laid out several options and fair pricing for us in a way that I easily understood! DJ did an awesome job replacing both the switch, faucet and shower head in one bathroom, and a switch in the other. We cannot say enough about how great TJK Plumbing has been. They performed over $20,000 worth of work (full plumbing stack replaced, concrete jackhammered up and removed to access/place dozens of feet of drain lines under the basement slab, 2 full bathrooms' fixtures replaced, backwater valves installed and laundry room fully replumbed, new water lines throughout, removal/repair of old gas lines...) We had a complicated, difficult job for them, and they did a stellar job. The city inspector even commented on how detail oriented and organized Josh was. DJ, Josh, and Daniel went out of their way to make sure we had everything taken care of in a timely manner, and to make sure we were happy with the work.

TJK Plumbing does great work, and they stand behind it. On top of this, their pricing is fair (much better than certain large national/regional companies), and they send coupons to their loyal customers. We have also used their drain cleaning services, Augie's Drain Cleaning, and will absolutely be using them again in the future for routine maintenance of our sewer line. We are customers for life.

I have included before and after photos of our master bathroom plumbing (top of our plumbing stack). The former owners of our house had left us with no venting whatsoever and improperly branched water lines. After TJK Plumbing's work, we are no longer getting sewer gas in our master bathroom, drains are running much better (no burbling, traps aren't emptying), and we have much better water pressure.

We experienced a water leak in our home plumbing. Based on other reviews we called TKJ at about 7am on a Saturday morning and almost immediately receive a call back. After realizing we could probably make it through the weekend, we made the appointment for Monday morning.

I had TJK out to replace an outdoor faucet and add a whole-house shut-off valve after the water meter. They were great, especially because the city just changed the water shut off procedure with permitting. I appreciated the time DJ spent walking me through everything and doing the least damage to the walls necessary.

Tim from TJK went above and beyond to solve my gas dryer dilemma. He was polite and professional and took the extra time to move an existing dryer from an upstairs location to our main floor laundry. He did this all on his own, making sure to protect our floors and carpeted stairs, cap off the upstairs vent and ensuring the dryer was installed correctly in our main floor laundry room. I would highly recommend TJK. Added bonus was the fact that they were able to get someone out to help me the day after I called!

Calling a plumber to my home is usually a traumatic experience ie; last company flooded my basement! So, after a new washing machine couldn't be installed due to a corroded a hose connection I hesitantly called TJK Plumbing due to the great reviews. I'm thrilled to report that Kurt and his apprentice came on time after calling to say they're on the way. Kurt was was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He fixed the problem quickly and left the area clean. Checked and double checked that the repair would not leak. Plumbing repairs are never inexpensive, but I didn't feel he was trying to gouge me like previous companies have done. Did I say I was thrilled to find a competent and reliable plumber? Well I am very happy with my experience with this company and definitely recommend them! Believe the great reviews they're legit!

Had new kitchen counter tops installed and needed a plumber to come out and perform the reconnect of the sink, disposal, and dishwasher after the installation.

Tim was punctual, thorough, and performed great work. He discovered a small crack in my garbage disposal and recommended a replacement (which he had in his truck).

The only downside is they do not provide a quote or estimate prior to arriving at your residence. However, based on my experience and other reviews it appears that they are fairly priced and middle of the road so to speak.
