When I lived in Saint Paul, I had a leak in my third floor bathroom and didn't know who to call. Luckily, I found Jakes through a Google search and was pleasantly surprised with how easy the whole ordeal became! I was able to get a plumber to my residence within a mere twenty-four hours, which was faster then any of the local competition. The plumber that worked on the job was named Stu. He was very timely, extremely knowledgeable, and carried a pleasant attitude throughout the entire service. He got the job done in just a few hours for a very reasonable price. On the website, I was even able to print off a coupon for a free inspection which Stu also performed. He was very thorough and explained everything in the simplest terms possible so that everyone involved knew exactly what was going on. Great service, great pricing! I can't recommend Jakes enough for plumbing problems; especially, due to the fact that all of their work comes with a lifetime guarantee! I definitely won't be looking around for who to call next time I have a plumbing issue, that's for sure.

We had an unexpected back up from our basement drain late at night. I called a couple of places that were either closed or charged a significant fee to come look at it. Roto-Reuter was able to come out to look for a free consultation, fairly quickly for a late Sunday night and took care of it. The cost was reasonable and the service men were friendly and professional. I'd use them again.

I called late on a Sunday evening because one of our bathroom sink valves inexplicably broke and was spraying water all over the bathroom. I expected them to charge an arm and a leg for an emergency visit but Ken calmly talked me through a quick fix that would hold us over until Monday morning when a technician could come during regular hours. Our tech, Corey, came over right away on Monday morning and fixed the issue. Ken saved us hundreds by talking me through a fix instead of sending someone and Corey was awesome and fixed the pipe within 30 minutes. I was blown away by how quickly they were able to respond and help. I highly recommend!!!

I reached out to this company after another plumbing company recommended them. The original company was not able to unclog the tree roots from my main drain line. I immediately called Cutting Edge and I was going on 1+ day with no running water and a baby at home. Joe answered immediately, spoke with the other plumber, and was at my house within about 90 minutes. This was the day before Thanksgiving, so I really appreciated the timely response and service! Joe and his wife were friendly, professional, and really helpful. They were respectful of my home and carpet and wore masks inside at my preference. The cost was extremely reasonable. I cannot thank them enough or recommend them! Will definitely call again in the future for any plumbing/drain needs.

He was honest and professional, and I will definitely be requesting their service again if I need additional work done!

My sewer backed up and I called Dean’s to come and unclog my drain in my basement. A man came out and did clean it out but found through his camera that I had cracks in my drain underneath my home (which I did know about but they became much worse). A supervisor (Adam) was called out to my home that day and he explained everything and my options. He was very knowledgeable, kind and not pushy. He also gave me some discounts which were a blessing in the midst. After my selection he was able to set up 2 other techs to come out in a few days to fix the problem. They were also friendly, answered my questions and worked hard to fix my problems. They found other things and fixed those at no extra charge also. They did an excellent job and I felt safe when they were here. I highly recommend Dean’s as they have proven to me that they can be trusted, not only for plumbing but they also have done electrical work for me too.

My laundry room sink drain overflowed, and I had water in my laundry room. I called Guy's Sewer & Drain and Brad came out the same day and unclogged a drain and sewer. I am impressed at the fast service but also the professionalism this company has. I will certainly recommend them to all of my family and friends.

Can't recommend enough. This was our second time using them within the year for tree roots in our main line. We called Roto Rooter at 2 pm, they said they'd call when the tech was 30 minutes away and they did at 5:30. Dennis showed up before 6 pm and was courteous, professional, and friendly. I showed him where the clean-out was, he explained exactly what he was going to do, how much it was going to cost and how long it would take. No sales pitch, no 'oh by the way I just found x and it's going to cost y much more' no lectures about how we've got bad pipes and shouldn't use them until they do thousands of dollars of repair. He fixed the problem for the cost he said and left with a smile. A real pro all around and a great experience in a trying time. And it was affordable. Thanks Dennis!

Our sewer drain in the basement started backing up last Friday night at 10:30 PM. I called every one of the large companies (national and local) that advertise in the Twin Cities. They all claimed 24 hour service. I explained that we had an emergency and provided detail of what was happening and the best that all could do was to offer to send someone on Saturday morning at an average cost of $189 just to have someone come out. The cost did not include any service. As the backup worsened, I hit the internet again and found Ken's Sewer at about 3:00am. The person that answered the phone said that they could come out right away. He then asked several detailed questions and came to the conclusion that the issue was caused by a backup of the city sewer and that neither Ken's, nor their competitor's, could do anything to help. He recommended that I call the city immediately. Ken's was correct! I called the city and they sent a crew out and the root cause was that the city sewer in the street was clogged. If the other companies would have suggested that to begin with, it would have saved thousands of $ in damage. The person that answered the phone for Ken's (I think that I woke him up) was more interested in helping than billing a service call. I am very impressed and I will absolutely contact Ken's with any future issues rather than the other guys that are all talk and no show.
