We recently had a gas leak on the valve to our gas stove. I had no idea what type of a professional handles that sort of thing. When I found out it was a plumbing job I was excited because a friend of mine had recently recommended River City Plumbing. These guys were amazing. They called to let me know when they were coming. They showed up on time. Everything about the experience was professional. They went over and beyond what I would have expected. Needless to say, I was impressed. Tankersley came out to our church to do a simple change...they sent two plumbers and only needed one on the job... they were working with the city and granted the city complicated the matter... but after talking to other plumbers we are definitely sure they way over charged the church. Their original invoice was for $1900 and they lowered it some to $1370.

If you do use them... My advice is to get a bid from them for sure before they do the work... I feel like they tried to take advantage of our church. I wont call on them again and neither will the company that recommended them to us.

I have read the response from Tankersley... very interesting... First they were not out there 7 hours... they did even work 4 hours. The city managers verified this also I came and went on the scene four times and they were not present at times as they had left for a while ... Bottom line they took advantage of us and I will run before I take it back... I have discussed this with several plumbers in our city who are reputable and they all agree. Even the company who sent them to us has discontinued using them and referring them to people. Just take our word and be sure to have everything on paper and keep track of their work.

Also there is no main Central Church ... there are many Central Churches all over...

I had NEP come out in June to fix a leaking toilet. Gus came out and was very unprofessional. I let him know we have an elderly in the home so please wear a mask and he laughed in my face. I thought he fixed the problem but it leaked within a few weeks. They sent another person back to try to fix it and still couldn’t leak. I’ve been trying to get them to come out and fix the issue. The Secretary was suppose to order a part. I called every week to see progress for the gasket because they had been working on the toilet and I didn’t want to have someone else touch it. 6 weeks later, I got a hold of the secretary again (she was never there when I would call) and she told me she never ordered the part because there’s no part to be had. When I asked when did she know there was no part to order, she responded that she knew when she was trying to order the part 6 weeks ago. I would not use this company. They don’t stand behind their workmanship, have unprofessional plumbers, and will put you as the last priority when they have to come back to fix things they didn’t do properly in the first place.
