We managed our expectations with Smith’s Plumbing given that we’ve been stood up by HD Plumbing two days in a row. We would’ve wanted to be scheduled days earlier but Smith’s was pleasant but firm in setting and keeping our appointment with them - arrived at the last hour of the given schedule today. Hunter wasted no time and did a wonderful job with our kitchen drain stoppage, and was clear and cordial from start to finish. Very satisfied with the work, a little pricey but well worth it having our kitchen sink back working after a long week. Highly recommended.

Smith’s technician went above and beyond. He not only did a great, thorough job repairing a broken pipe, replacing the original sub-par materials and updating the not well thought out design, but also left the area -- a muddy patch in our backyard -- tidy and ready to be replanted. AND he showed up exactly when you said he would!!! Completely satisfied and impressed and will definitely use Smith's Plumbing again.

Steve called before arrival and arrived at exact time he previously stated. He then gave me 3 options and pricing for the leak and garbage disposal. After choosing an option,Steve got the parts from his vehicle and replaced the garbage disposal and repaired the leak. Steve cleaned the work area and then showed me the work performed and then showed me how to adjust and reset the disposal. Top work in a timely manner! Thank you Steve and thank you Smiths plumbing!

I noticed a water leak near our water meter when I arrived home from work. MLGW stated the leak was on the service end. I called Smith's Plumbing and they arrived within 3 hours and worked until 9pm to repair our water service line. This company is outstanding.

Smith plumbing does a fantastic above ground re-pipe. Surgical precision with drywall cuts. Great easy to follow water heater install and piping around it. Passes all inspections and then some. Smith plumbing does not cut corners. They are not the most expensive but the best quality in town. Smith supports the local schools and that is how I found them. That and word of mouth. Smiths Plumbing Services is now my plumbing company going forward. I have had two service calls from Smiths Plumbing Services. One for an installation of a new water heater and the other for leak detection and repair. I allowed 3 different plumbing companies the opportunity to provide quotes for installing a new hot water heater. Of the four plumbing companies that I contacted on a holiday weekend after our washing machine drained into our kitchen, John from Smith's was the only technician to call me back the same day. Or at all for that matter, as it's been around 24 hours and I still haven't heard back from anyone else. We were attempting to resolve the problem ourselves, but he still saved us a spot to come out on a Sunday to help if needed. He was courteous and very up front about costs and scope of services, and he provided detailed answers to the many questions we had. The cost was a little higher due to an after hours call, but it was more reasonable than we honestly expected. Our home tools weren't enough to get the job done, so he came out as promised and was able to clear whatever unfathomably nasty things that were stubbornly keeping our kitchen and laundry drains at a full stop. He was professional and easy to talk to. We hope we never need to call him again, but we won't hesitate to do so if the situation arises.

I had a pipe that broke, and flooded my garage. Clothes were ruined. I called Smith and they were very kind and professional. A knowledge man think named Johnathan came and fixed the leak in a quick time. Also, was very kind with his time to return due to another leak, luckily they have a 6 months warranty. It was covered and repaired with no cost to us.I would recommend that you give them a try. You won’t be sorry.God bless

The plumber came very quickly after we called. He was very thorough and explained everything. We also needed electrical work, so John called an electrician to come give us an estimate. We really appreciated having everything done at the same time. The price for water heater and installation was more than a previous estimate but we felt we got a great job and excellent customer service.

The plumber called and came in a timely manner. He used foot covering and floor covering to protect my floors.He was very courteous while he remained professional. He did the job very quickly including stopping a leak in my toilet. He gave me an estimate on another job. I will definitely be using this company.

We have been without hot water heater for four days and dealing with home warranty & another plumbing company. They have been terrible to deal with. Got frustrated & called SMITHS PLUMBING. Ethan is very knowledge. He called to tell me his ETA. It took me a little longer to get home. Ethan greeted me and started working immediately. Ethan explained every step of the process to me. I called Smith Plumbing to remove 2 existing toilets, install 2 new toilets, and dispose of the old ones. Carl (?), the technician called at least 30 minutes before arrival to let me know he was on his way. He arrived when he said he would, assessed the situation, and immediately got to work. I was amazed at how quickly he was able to get the job done and with the highest quality.This was one of the absolute best experiences I have had with a service provider. My technician John took his time, fixed some small problems, inspected everything a previous plumber had done and notified me how many code violations there were and how they shouldve pulled permits. Will was the rep/estimator with whom I discussed my plumbing concerns and things needing to be addressed. They coordinated a time for me to meet and get the estimate so that I didn’t have to miss work. Will was direct, knowledgeable, and kind. Excellent customer service and information about how to quickly execute the logistics of our plumbing repair needs. On the scheduled day, German was our primary contact. They arrived early, worked all day, and were in constant communicating and had a stellar attitude of service and professionalism from 8:30am-6:30pm. I received before and after pictures and was asked at each step of the day when a change needed to be added. Pricing was fair and within my budget of what I could spend for these repairs. I arrived home from work when they were wrapping up and German walked me to each of place they repaired and reviewed the work. When an item was forgotten - he took the time to call the estimator and confirm it was missed and they immediately made note to arrange and come back to fix that remaining item. I would absolutely recommend and call them again!

Ryan Nelson was knowledgeable about my problem and after he checked everything out he sat down with me and told me about 3 options to how Smith’s Plumbing could fix all my homes problems. Steven Reeves was a professional. Called 30 minutes prior to coming to my house and looked at the corroded hot water valve. I told him I wanted to replace both hot and cold water valves and he agreed. Asked if he could back his truck into my driveway and got the tools he needed and had the job done in a little over an hour. The price was a little high but it needed to be done and Steven took the old washer outside and moved the new one in place. Steven was very plenty to have in my home and showed me where the water shut off valve was going into my house and how it works. This was a blessing if I need to use it in the future. They evaluated my problem in under 15 minutes where a plumber chosen by Choice Warranty could not evaluate our problem in 90 minutes. Smith's master plumber discussed our various options concerning a main water line leakage and we felt comfortable and at ease we choose the right company. Chad and his fellow colleague came out and fixed our main water line with little to no upheavel in the amount of time stipulated during consultation. Smith’s Plumbing is excellent! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for answers to basic plumbing questions to performing major repairs. I recently bought a “fixer-upper” condo built in the 80’s that needed a new hot water heater. The technician, John Stephenson, was prompt and courteous. He called ahead to let me know when he would arrive. Before he started he gave me a time estimate for the repair and kept me updated as he was working. He also kindly answered a lot of random plumbing questions I had about other things I had noticed about my “new” home. All in all, I was very satisfied with my experience and would not hesitate to call them in the future should the need arise.

Smith's has been incredibly reliable and professional. I needed a repair done quickly and they worked very hard to accommodate. Jeremy and Chad were incredibly professional, even when they realized that the work would be much more difficult and involved than they initially thought (they had to dig a 15 foot trench by hand). They showed up early, worked all day, and didn't leave until the job was done perfectly. The work was well done and extremely affordable. I will definitely use them in the future.

Everyone is charging high prices. Smith is not the highest, and likely not the lowest. However, the service is superb. John (I didn't catch his last name) came out to replace two faucets in the master bathroom, and also replaced shutoff valves under one sink. He couldn't use the faucets we provided, but found us an alternative - which turned out to be far better quality and better looking, and better value. John was personable, professional, calm and reassuring, very responsive and helpful, knowledgeable and confident - in short, he was awesome! I'm very satisfied with his work. The price quoted was the price charged, too (no surprises). He's my guy from now on! : -) (The office at Smith too was great - When the winter storm hit, our appointment was moved TBD while they addressed emergency calls for broken pipes, but they called to keep us updated, and when we were rescheduled, they called the day before to confirm. John was spot on time.)

Called in the morning and Jeremy was at my house before Noon. Very fast and professional. Took care of the issue in our sink quickly.

This was our first time working with Smith's and we were so glad to find them because we had a leak in our house that had soaked into carpets and walls in multiple areas. Their response (after hours) to our emergency was better than expected. The source of the leak was not obvious and required significant leak detection efforts. The team worked tirelessly to solve the problem through minimally invasive means. We (and our insurance company) REALLY appreciated how they approached the diagnosis and the fix to be as economic as possible. Through the process, we worked with technicians Tyler and Will, supported by Amber in the office. Smith's is very lucky to have them all - they understand what customer service is and maintain a customer-focused mindset. They always had our best interest in mind. These days, finding service providers who care as much as they do is getting rarer and rarer. Thank you to the Smith's team for having our back through this whole ordeal. We'll definitely use them in the future and tell friends and family about them.We had a leak in our carport and learned that part of the drain pipe running underneath our slab and kitchen was cracked and leaking. We were able to dig down ourselves and find the cracked pipe joint only to realize that not just that joint but the entire pipe was rotten and falling apart (and likely had been for years).We had four plumbers come out, and Smith's offered a solution to replace all of the drain pipe without pulling out a downstairs bathroom, and their quote was a couple thousand cheaper than everyone else. John talked us through the project and what all we would need to do to prepare the house. He was very kind and detailed.When the project started, Chad and Tyler came out to dig up the rotted pipe and spent a week at the house getting the old drain pipe out and replacing it with new pipe. They worked hard and got the project done a day early. We were thrilled!We had a few loose-ends requests that we would need after we had completed rebuilding/remodeling our downstairs (like hooking up a new sink and dishwasher), and Tyler came back out to complete those tasks. Not sure if Smith's wants this public, but they didn't even charge for those tasks. Seriously -- they said we had a few hours of credit from where they had finished the drain pipe a day early, so they lumped these in with that invoice we had already paid.You can't beat that level of honesty, expertise, and availability. Love having reliable service companies like Smith's in my contact list.

Called Smith’s Plumbing at 6am, regarding a leak due to to the cold weather. Hunter arrived by 9am and within the hour he had detected the source of the leak and repaired the pipe. This has been the most positive experience Ive ever had with a plumber and on the weekend no less! Brock and partner came minutes after he called and diagnosed a very serious leak around my toilet that was emitting sewage gas. We have these fancy toilets that came with our house. One plumber told us to completely replace the toilet that was running all the time, but Smith’s plumber said we could Replace the guts and that should work. Way less expensive to rebuild the inside workings of the toilet.! His work comes With a 6 months guarantee. Plumber was neat, cleaned up any mess he made, and was very polite. My only negative comment is that it took a while to get an appointment but it wasn’t an emergency so I could wait. Another positive for Hunter, the plumber, is he called 30 minutes before he came, which was in the timeframe I was given, so overall, this was a good experience. I will use Smith Plumbing again.

My ceiling fell in because of a burst pipe. I called three different plumber and their rates were astronomical! Smith’s was the last try, and they charged a very fair flat fee to come see my issue. Mr. James Looney was my first contact, and he was awesome. Saw the problem, told me how much it would be to pull out the damaged parts, and explained very clearly how to proceed from there. He explained what the insurance company would be looking for and made sure I had the photos and video every step of the way. When he came back to repair my pipes, he brought a helper, Cody, who sealed up things from the roof to the shed housing the water heater. He explained how to maintain my new plumbing, and spoke to the property owner as well. Extremely professional, while being personable and friendly. Great experience. Smith Plumbing is not the cheapest service on the block however, i believe their prices to be fair. Tyler and another associate have come to my house twice this past month for different issues (once today and once a few weeks ago), and both times they have been honest, courteous, professional, quick with repairs and assessments, and saved me a ton of money. The first time I used them was after being on hold for over an hour with a different plumbing company for an emergency plumbing leak. When I hung up and called Smith’s instead, a rep answered immediately and set me up with the earliest appointment available. I am new to Memphis and needed a new hot water heater and a variety of other plumbing needs. After reading all the 5-star reviews of Smith’s Plumbing, my decision on a company was made. The experience from the quote to install was as expected (based on the reviews) - absolutely professional. The installer - Cody - showed up on time and inspired confidence from the start. Each portion of our job was done professionally, including a hot water heater replacement in a pull-down attic above the garage. Cody and his team did a terrific job!! There is more to the story, however. Part of our extensive quote involved a new vent through our roof, which required another contractor and additional cost. This cost was included in our original quote, but they found a new vent that did not require any roof modification - good news. I called Will, who provided the original quote, to discuss the fact that this roof work was not necessary. He whole-heartedly agreed and refunded that portion of the job within minutes...single digit minutes. Actually, I believe the money was refunded less than 2 minutes, and I am not embellishing. If you are new to Memphis (or not) and want the best, call Smith’s Plumbing. I have owned a multitude of homes in many different states over the years. I used Smiths Plumbing to repair busted pipes in my front yard. When I knew I had a problem I called them and they had a guy come out in the next 24hrs to get a camera down there to see what was going on. Everything was disconnected, pipes were completely collapsed. They immediately scheduled a crew to come out and do the 2 day job. Wow do they have incredible service. We had what turned out to be a main line blockage discovered at midnight. Tried finding an emergency plumber. All were booked up for the night already. Only Will with Smith’s plumbing offered to help at least trouble shoot and identify the problem over the phone to see what we were dealing with. After he helped me diagnose the problem, he apologized for being booked through the night but promised to call me in the morning, which he did.Not only did he come by to take a look for himself, but he got the job done that day - on a Sunday! My entire house was without water because of the blockage and now it’s up and running in time for our Christmas party. He even helped arrange a specialist to look at the water damage.Five stars is not enough. Should be 10 stars. I know who to call from now on.

They ran into some crazy issues with our pipes and they kept me up to date on what was being done, in addition to working until there was temporary fix for us to have water, till they could come back and do the permanent fix. They were extremely friendly and personable and knew exactly what they were talking about and doing when working on our pipes. Sorry it took me so long to write a review. I called to get an estimate to have a toilet replaced, it was a corner toilet so it had to be done right. Ed was sent out, by the way everyone I talked to was extremely courteous and helpful. I also wanted to Change fixtures in the shower. Ed arrived and at the door the first thing he did was put booties over his shoes so not get our floor dirty, I told him that he could stept inside and put them on but he refused to do that (awesome). Can in check everything and gave an honest estimate, he is extremely knowledgeable and didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. Went to his van, made a phone call found what I needed (corner toilet) within 10 min. We scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. He showed up on time Monday did a great job, I even forgot he was here at one time. We had a very complicated sewer line issue that John and the whole team at Smith’s handled wonderfully. The Smith Company was recommended by a close friend that had previously used them for repairs to their home. We can say that we were very please with his promptness, professional and honesty. We thought there was a possible leak coming from our son's restroom from his toilet, however; it was coming from his shower and the water he was getting on the floor that was leaking through the cracks we couldn't see around the edges of the wall. He told us what to purchase from any local store to put along the side of the shower to stop the water from leaking that showed the water stain on our ceiling in our entryway. The L shaped piece cast us about $25 to $30 dollars. While there he recommended we change the drainage in the shower and we did. Yes, we would use the Smith Company again for our plumbing needs.

I had a slow draining sink that I had not been able to diagnose. After snaking the drain, Hunter determined it was grease build up in the drain line. After snaking the line the sink drained and he suggested I buy and use bio clean to make sure the buildup of grease was cleaned out. Hunter was completely helpful and professional.

We had a large puddle in our living room from our kitchen on a Sunday morning. We called Smith’s because they’re open 24/7. We were blown away by the service we received from John! He called us right away to set up a quick appointment on Sunday and explained they do charge a little extra for “off hour” work. He showed us other plumbing related things around our new house too that we didn’t know about. He was able to replace some valves quickly and was very personable and fun to talk to. What a fantastic company! I called on a Sunday to get a pipe unclogged and someone was out in a few hours! We also have been looking to get a new water heater and we asked John for a quote. We agreed to set up a time to get a new one. He made a few calls and they said one could be installed today if you like. I was blown away! In a short time , Tyler and Matt were here installing the hot water heater. All 3 of these men were very professional! I felt very comfortable having them work in my home. Completely amazing!!! They haven't even finished the job yet, but I feel confident in their work to leave this review. The thing that I love most about them is that they listen to the customer. They know that we're not plumbers and that we're asking questions without the full bank of knowledge, but they take their time to understand and decipher what were asking/ saying. It's great! I just asked them a plumbing question completely unrelated to the work they are doing for me and they stopped for like 5-7 minutes to ask follow up questions and talk out what the possible problem was. We had an emergency plumbing issue with the hot water in our home on a Saturday night. We called Smith’s Plumbing, spoke with their after-hours rep, and within 15 minutes we were speaking with John, a Smith’s Plumbing technician. John was very courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt in responding to our situation. He ultimately arrived at our house earlier than expected, and most importantly, was able to resolve our issue quickly and efficiently. Overall, we were very impressed with John, and our entire experience with Smith’s Plumbing helped to make an otherwise harrowing situation much more tenable. This was our first time to need professional plumbing expertise at our house, and John with Smith’s Plumbing did not disappoint. While we always hope it doesn’t happen, should any other similar situation arise in the future, we will not hesitate to call Smith’s Plumbing again.

Exceptional customer service! It's really hard trusting reviews these days but I am still blown away from my experience. I called Tuesday after 4:30pm. The customer servers rep was VERY friendly & understanding. I was very panicky bc I had to cut off the main water to avoid my bathroom potentially overflooding. Within 10 mins, I received a called from my service tech, Tyler. He was exceptional. He understood the assignment! He made it out at 5:30 & repaired the issue by 6:05p all DURING a severe thunderstorm of 65 mph winds. I was expecting us to delay but Tyler was so committed. I am so amazed. This company is timely, responsive, professional and they were the only company I had in mind when I needed a repair based on my previous experience with them. The only hesitation I would have with using Smith's Plumbing again is the labor costs. I think the labor cost to install a faucet was quite steep. However, all the people I talked to on the phone, as Corey, were very nice to deal with.

After dealing with another plumbing company that came out for less than 10 minutes, gave an outrageous quote, and still wanted a $100 service charge, I decided to give Smith’s a call.Technician Ethan S. came out and immediately let me know the situation, explained it to me in terms where I (non-plumber) could understand, and gave me a price that fit my budget and felt fair and reasonable. He also let me know that if anything were to change, he would stop work and let me know of any price changes. Ethan went right to work and got everything done in about an hour. After my deteriorating sewer became clogged with tree roots, Jeremy worked tirelessly to restore service to get us through the holidays. After the freezing weather cleared, Brandon and Taylor installed new sewer piper (in one day!) all while having to dodge stubborn tree roots. Called at 7:45 am this morning regarding our leaking water heater. The plumber, Will, called me at 8:15 telling me he was on his way. He arrived on time and told me what I suspected, that our water heater needed to be replaced. By 11:15 am he had removed our old water heater and already had us up and running with a brand new water heater! Highly recommend Will- really nice guy, professional and honest. We received excellent customer service from everyone I spoke with, and was impressed with the fast response time. Smith's will be our go to for any plumbing needs in the future.

My first call to Smith...spoke with Angie regarding leak in bathroom. Floor was soaked. She was so sweet and wanted to be sure water was cutoff, took my info and assured me Brenda would call in 30 min to schedule appt. Water heater quit working late in the evening and called Smith Plumbing early the next morning. Kevin arrived within an hour and quickly inspected the non-working 50-gallon gas water heater as well as another 50-gallon electric water heater. Kevin was very friendly and polite, knowledgeable, and patiently answered all our questions. We decided to replace both water heaters because of their age and Kevin assured us that both could be done that very same day. Brendan and Jerry arrived at scheduled time and were very diligent and efficient in removing the old water heaters and installing the new ones. Both were very courteous and careful about not tracking mud into the house, and cleaned up afterwards. The work was completed that day as promised. We are extremely pleased with Smith Plumbing and highly recommend them.

John came out on a Sunday when we had water leaking under our floorboards. He was super professional and friendly. Did an instant fix to unclog our shower head, and then gave us some options for the bigger issue. While he was out, I went ahead and had him quote our bathroom remodel bc I will likely go with them again for that. John did a great job.

John was incredibly courteous and extremely thorough. After investigating a number of possible locations for the leak, he quickly found it with very little cutting of the drywall. Once he found the leak, it was repaired and he left his work space totally clean. The only way you could tell there had been a repair was the new brass on the exposed pipes through the small hole in the wall. Great job by John, he’s a pro!

Our technician, Hunter, was knowledgeable and very polite. He took the time to explain the work he was doing and wore shower caps on his shoes to keep our house clean. He finished the work quickly as well. He helped repair a toilet and two faucets in roughly two hours. I would definitely call them again with any other plumbing issues.

Will and Matt were on time, polite, professional and courteous. They wore masks as requested in the home to help prevent transmission of asymptomatic COVID as our family is at risk. They allowed me to pepper them with questions for plumbing maintenance as we are new homeowners. I now know where the location of my water main is and have a properly working faucet installed and the dripping faucet parts were replaced. Smith Plumbing installed our tankless hot water heater and did a great job! Yesterday there was an issue with a clogged line that was causing water to backup into the tankless drip pan. Calling Smith's was a no-brainer when I saw the perfect score reviews, and so many reviews too. Expectations were met and exceeded. Guy named Hunter showed up and was super nice and professional. He was real clear on what he was going to do and what could happen, so even in a worst case scenario situation I had a good idea what to expect. Everything went great though with no issues whatsoever, and considering the amount of work that was done, I was surprised at how fair the price was. If I ever need plumbing work again I know who to call.

I called Smith’s plumbing after hearing great things about them and seeing them out in the community. I needed an estimate on some renovations we wanted done to our master bathroom. Will was very patient with my many questions and did a great job at explaining everything. We actually called to schedule and then called back the next day because we changed our minds about what work we wanted done and needed a new estimate for the changes. Will came out again and was once again great at explaining everything and answered all my questions. I went ahead and scheduled the work to be done. My schedule is kind of difficult to work with but they were great at accommodating my schedule! I’m excited to see the end result of the bathroom and will update when it’s finished.

Will and Dakota went above and beyond for us today. They responded immediately and got right to work. They are extemely professional and efficient. We look forward to using them for the repair of our sewer pipe. They also referred us to Dry Fast for water mitigation post flood which also responded immediately. We are extremely satisfied with both companies.

Will was such a Blessing!! I had absolutely no idea my dishwasher was leaking under the kitchen floor. Will stopped the leak and immediately contacted a water mitigation company to come out right then, to asset the damage. That company referred by Smith Plumbing walked me through the process of filing a claim with my insurance company.I was in an absolute panic attack. I had never dealt with any type of flooding/water damage. Both men were so calm and patient. Completely calmed me and explained everything so clearly.

Corey was very professional and walked me thru the leak detection process for an exterior wall faucet. The leak was detected behind a wall and he carefully cut open the wall just enough to complete the repair. He managed my expectations for time, cost and gave me replacement options for the faucet plumbing to minimize future freeze problems. Overall, I am very pleased with Smith Plumbing’s services, follow up calls and emails. Corey was so helpful he even helped me bring in a large box that was delivered to my house while he was working here!

Allen and his crew did an excellent job. They were here 4 days doing extensive work. Of course they completed the job. But, they were very friendly, explained what was happening each day, insured cleanliness and in the end went the extra mile (on Friday late afternoon in 95* heat) to insure satisfaction. On Nov. 16, 2021 I had an appointment scheduled to diagnose a water stain on kitchen ceiling. German was the technician who came to look at the issue. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He thoroughly troubleshot the issue finding no problems. Since he was here I asked if he could fix a rocking toilet I had. The repair was made promptly. I'm pleased with the service I received. The leak was under my bathroom sink and had been evaluated by two other companies. Smith’s Plumbing was the one who finally was able to repair it successfully. The work was done quickly, and when it was completed, the area was left clean and dry. Tyler was very courteous and made sure I inspected everything before he left. I had heard wonderful things about Smith Plumbing, so I decided to give them a call. Even though it was a Sunday, Steven called me right back and scheduled to come to our home that day to repair our shower faucet, as the cartridge had gone bad. It was spewing water in my shower, and I was unable to shut it off. They were respectful of our home, and thorough with the repair. They left the area clean and the faucet now works perfectly again. He was very nice and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

Smith's plumbing does excellent work. They are always on time. You cannot get better plumbing services anywhere in the Memphis/Shelby County area. They have repaired my toilet and kitchen faucet. Also, in the past, they repaired a sewer leak in my lawn. They always have the parts needed to do the job. If you want the job done correctly, call Smith's Plumbing.

I called them at 8 am needing same day service because drain line needed to be cleaned and blockage removed. They were there around lunch the same day. Very nice, explained everything they would do to solve my problem and wore shoe covers in the house. Would highly recommend!

Excellent service! Will and Jeremy came to my house, they explained everything that had to be done to replace my water heater. They were very professional and personable. They got me scheduled the next day which I really appreciated. I will definitely call them with any future plumbing issues.

After dealing with plumbing and hot water heater shananigans for about a month and spending over $500.00 with no results, I was livid. I was told about Smith plumbing by a friend and she recommended them solely on their advertising which I had never seen, nor heard of. She said to let her know how the services were, if I used them. Although the actual work has not been performed, I am so impressed. I was so afraid the cost would be astronomical but Will is the negotiator. Initially I left a chat with my information, within a 24 hour I was called by Ms. Brenda. She was very thorough, concerned and documented detailed information about our plumbing and heating issues. She showed such care and was most patient because I live with my 77 year old mother, who is not happy at this point. Brenda told me she had two leak specialist and I could get an appointment the next day. As promised she sent Mr. Will, who came in the door with a positive “tell me all about it” attitude. After we told him our woes, he immediately said well let’s just start all over and I will start my investigation on the issue with a clean slate. That was more than fair and no money was even mentioned thus far. He was kid friendly and had excellent people skills. It did not take him 30 minutes and he gave us detailed information with a plan of action and he is a negotiator. Will was very professional, I believe him and no services have been completed but a plan of action is in place for next Tuesday. I wish he could do the job himself as his knowledge and expertise sounds very convincing. He offered and we negotiated prices which we agreed upon and down payment was taken as a deposit to confirm our day. Thanks Brenda and Will two great people at Smith plumbing who have a heart for the people they serve. Hopefully after next Tuesday we will not be boiling hot water to survive. We are impressed and hope to be happier. Of all goes as planned, we will become acquainted for future jobs and tell our friends about Smith plumbing . We have had Smith's plumbing service working on a solution to fix our plumbing issues. They had to do some extensive work to find out the issue, bit they did so with minimal evasion on our privacy. They were very professional and upfront about everything that they encountered during the process. They wore PPE equipment in lieu of the pandemic and cleanliness. Any mess they made they cleaned and everything that they dug up they put back in a way that it can barely be seen where it was . I really appreciate how they handled business and I would definitely recommend them.

Jeremy was fantastic! He came out after hours when my sewer backed up. He addressed the issue promptly by clearing the main line and then checking each drain in my 3 bathrooms. Smith's plumbing has always been great. They have worked with my work schedule to provide convenience. I have had my hot water heater replaced by them and recently needed an expansion tank placed. He gave me options for the repairs and thoroughly explained warranty information.He made arrangements to take care of all repairs the same day as the service call. It’s not fun having to call a plumber on a weekend, yet a holiday weekend, but it was worth it. Within a few minutes of talking with the call service, I received a call from David who was polite and customer service oriented from the first moment. He arrived shortly afterwards and did a great job of diagnosis and repair. Along the way he gave me some great tips to keep the kitchen sink from backing up again. I will absolutely use Smith’s Plumbing again in the future. I feel like I can trust them not to play me like other companies try to do.

Smith Plumbing had been out before and we were happy with their service, so we called them again. John came out and installed two new faucets. He was really great - easy to talk to, personable, timely and professional. We are happy with the work he did and will ask for him again.

We called Smith’s Plumbing when the sewer backed up into our master bathroom. The dispatch immediately called back and Ethan was at our house in approximately 30 mins. He couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful and within 45 minutes the sewer line to the house that was clogged had been flushed. Thanks to their quick response it did not back up further into our bedroom or closet. The cleaning service arrived about 30 minutes later.What started out as a worst case scenario was made much better and manageable by Smith’s Plumbing. We couldn’t be more grateful or pleased with Smith’s Plumbing or Ethan’s work and help!We are definitely saving their number and recommending them to others.

Steven came to check our vented fireplace's dante valve to make sure it was working properly. He verified it was and took the time to show and explain to me why it was. I had Smith plumbing install a new tankless water heater. During the process, they had to get a new electrical outlet and new gas line. Up front, they made it clear what needed to be done, why, and what options we had. they arrived on the set date and let us know about 30 minutes ahead of time that they were on their way. The install process was painless on my end. I let them into the attic and they kept me up to date as the process went on. Naturally, installing a tankless water heater is pricey, but the estimate they gave me was the same price at the end. Overall, the setup, install, and estimate process were great and accurate!

The service took a few hours but it didn’t seem long because the workers were quiet & efficient. One of the gentleman was very thorough with keeping me posted with their progress and the step by step process and also walked me through how to detect issues and it’s other functions. He was extremely polite, intelligent and very professional. Highly pleased.

What an awesome experience, I had a water heater go out on me and they quoted me the best price out of 3 vendors for conversion from 2 - 50 gal hot water tanks to a singular tankless system, even honored my military service with a deeper discount on the job. What appeared to be an easy job turned into 2 days and a mgr on site to complete it; not entirely on them but where it was they owned it professionally; They didn't charge me a single cent more than the original quote. I got a steal of a deal on the unplanned upgrade and Tim, the manager, leads his team to care about customer service indeed... zero buyers remorse, will call Smith Plumbing when I have any plumbing needs without hesitation.

Corey Reagan was Excellent. He called in advance to let me know he was in route and then again when he arrived.I told him the problem we were having, which the sink filling up when the washing machine drained and when I filled it up to wash dishes, the water would just stand.He looked at the situation and immediately went to work at what he thought the problem was. In about an hour he called me back in to the Kitchen and showed me the problem was resolved. He said he ran it through several tests after he was done (including washing machine) and there were no problems.My daughter had recommended Smith after they had repair plumbing issues at two separate homes she had previously rented and gave them high marks!I TOTALLY agree with her. I initially got a quote from Smith's plumbing based off of the google reviews. Not only were they the best price, their quality and knowledge were top notch. From the beginning, Will came out and explained everything in detail that they would do to replace my old water heaters and install a tankless system. Will was extremely knowledgeable and made sure that the install worked with my schedule. Brandon and Jeremy were very punctual and did an excellent job installing and explaining to me what they were doing and how to work the system. As long as my new tankless last 20+ years I will be a VERY happy customer.

Being in the service industry for over 42 years I am highly critical of service people that come to my home to make repairs. I was also highly suspicious of the 5 Star ratings for this company! But they are as good as the ratings indicate and more!!! From the call agents to the service people and the manager were all professional and easy to work with. Needing to know where my outdoor drains were clogged (after the weekend flooding), I happily paid Smiths to come out on a Sunday (they replied within one hour of my call for help). On Sunday, March 20, 2022 sewage at our house started to back upin our tubs when the toilets were flushed. We also had standing water in the shower. This problem had occurred in the past; however, the water eventually drained out. We did not think there was a major issue.This time the water did not drain and every time the water was turned on in the tub more standing water with sewage remained. We had read very good reviews about Smith Plumbing; however, it was already late in the afternoon on Sunday and they were not available to come to the house. John, who was on call, did return our phone call promptly and was very helpful. He advised me on what to do and even gave me names of others to call if we needed service immediately. On Monday morning March 21, we were called first thing and Ethan was at our house by 10 AM. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained our options with prices. Because the job was going to take specialized equipment to either place a cable in the cleanout pipe or use a jett to clear the pipes, Ethan called two other employees, German and Daniel, who came to the house a couple of hours later with the equipment. German was very knowledgeable as well and explained the problem in detail in terms we could understand. Using the jett was more powerful and expensive than the cable; however, German did not pressure us into one or the other. We ended up using the jett and the problem was fixed. We even saw video of the newly cleaned out pipes. We were extremely pleased with the service we received from everyone at Smith Plumbing. They seemed genuinely concerned about getting us back to normal and making sure we were satisfied. We will definitely use them in the future.

Carl Owens and the entire staff at Smith’s Plumbing have been FANTASTIC to work with. They are very friendly, show up on time and are extremely knowledgeable/professional. I have used them on everything from a major sewer line re-route to tightening up my kitchen faucet. I called Smith’s Plumbing for help to remove a leaking dishwasher and install a new one. To say that the removal was a challenge would be an understatement…but Hunter, the technician they sent, was fantastic. He got creative and was able to remove the old dishwasher without damaging any of the surrounding structures even though it required a lot of manipulating. I’m so grateful! He will return to install the new one next week after the dishwasher space has dried out. I highly recommend Smith’s, who accommodated us so quickly, and kudos to Hunter, the young man who was our technician. He was extremely professional.

I recommend Smith Plumbing for all plumbing needs. The city said we had a break in our sewer and Smith made the process simple and stress free. When they came to replace the lines, they ran a camera and found our sewer wasn’t the problem and the break is in the street. They were honest and told me and saved me thousands of dollars. All very nice gentlemen and the office staff was wonderful too.

I have had two different plumbers from this company come to my home. Brock and Will both did a great job and were very kind and patient in explaining everything to me. Will took the time to show me that my sewer line has several small breaks so I could feel confident that the work he recommended was necessary. I have scheduled them to replace my sewer main in about a week, and Will said that they will come back out to reopen my sewer line if it becomes clogged again between now and when they replace it.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT OVERALL. My scheduled time was 12-4pm. My guy got here at 4:45. However, he was extremely courteous and professional. And bottom line, he fixed the problem and helped my family. I really want to give solid 5, but for time delay. Thank you

From a very professional first contact on the phone setting up an appointment to a long day of excellent work from their plumbing experts, German and Danny, I had a fantastic experience with Smith’s Plumbing from start to finish.I had an extensive list of repairs ranging from dripping faucets to replacing a hot water heater and German walked me through everything that needed to be done as well as keeping me updated on any potential change in the scope of work.The finished work was excellent and right on budget!

I wish I could give six stars. We had a wonderful experience with Smith’s Plumbing. We had a major blockage in our kitchen plumbing line behind the wall. Me and a friend tried to fix it on our without any luck. We called Smith’s Saturday evening and they were at our house the next morning. John S., our tech, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Not only did he fix the issues with our plumbing, he took the time to discuss the possible issues and possible solutions for this specific issue and any issues in the future. Luckily for me John was to put everything in layman’s terms for me. I highly recommend Smith’s plumbing and strongly suggest you ask for John S.

He arrived promptly the next day on a Sunday morning to fix a broken connection at my elderly mom’s house. I needed some work done under my kitchen sink disposal and faucet replaced as well as some leaking issues. Was able to get an appointment the next day between 10am-2pm. My technician Will called and was pleasantly surprised that he could make it earlier. After agreeing to the price quote, he got to work. Will was very efficient and got everything done in no time. I was concerned about the faucet not fitting as our counter layout has very little leeway between the counter ad where the faucet head butts up to the counter. Will was able to make some adjustments so it would work. He also talked to me about different things to keep the function of everything running smoothly. Thanks Will and Smith Plumbing. We had a tankless water heater installed when our old one began leaking and a drain unclogged. They were very professional, friendly and and responsive every time we called. The work was performed on schedule as agreed upon at the agreed price. They even performed some extra work while on site without any extra charge and made a special after hours trip when a drain pipe started leaking. We were very pleased with the work and would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Smiths Plumbing (Ryan specifically) totally saved the day. After completing a pantry upgrade on a Saturday, we detected wet drywall on the following Monday. Tuesday evening we cut out some drywall to find that we had put 2 screws through a pipe. We had to turn off our water (not ideal with a preschooler) and scramble to find someone who might be available. Ryan was 10 minutes away and came straight here. He had the repair done in less than 2hours. He was professional and so personable. We enjoyed talking with him and he gave us an estimate before starting and explained everything along the way. He gave us quotes in a very non-pushy way for a couple other things we mentioned and a referral for the drywall repair. The price was extremely reasonable and we were SO satisfied with the service. Cannot more highly recommend. Will absolutely call them again for any plumbing needs.

Steve at Smith Plumbing came out to help us after we discovered a burst pipe in a concrete wall during snowmageddon. We called Smith Plumbing on a Saturday and they sent Steve out the next day, which was amazing considering that all of Memphis was having these kinds of problems so every other plumber was booked days out! Because the wall was concrete, he was unable to fix it that day, but he was able to recommend a contractor and a water damage restoration company to us. The contractor came out on Monday, uncovered the pipe, and Steve was able to come out the next day on Tuesday and found the leak, fixed it, and did a very nice looking job on the pipe repair and hose bib replacement. He also insulated the pipe so it hopefully will not freeze in the future. He was so pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable and helped answer a couple other questions as well. He also wore shoe covers in the house, which was a big deal to me as we have had plumbers not wear shoe covers while working in our house and I don’t love that. I would definitely recommend Smith Plumbing to anyone having burst pipe issues, and we would call them again for other plumbing issues!

We had an unexpected issue that ended up being a multi part issue. The first day, Steven came out and got us up and running and then did part 2 literally the next morning(way faster than I thought). Brock then came out ON THANKSGIVING(ugh) after us experiencing another issue and finished us up and even came back the next day just to check that we were 100% good. Was not our week in the plumbing department, but Smith’s Plumbing was amazing to work with, made it so much easier on us and their employees were beyond nice! Before showing up he also called to give me a heads up on a specific time. The technician answered all my questions and explained everything he did, which I appreciated. Once everything was installed he tested the pipes and made sure the disposal functioned as intended. Overall a good experience, I'll be calling Smith's for future needs.

Loved the service we got from Smith’s Plumbing Services. And John, the technician that came out to my house, couldn’t have been nicer and professional. So what had happened was all of our toilets, tubs, and showers were backing up. We just googled plumbers and started calling everybody. It was a weekend and holiday weekend at that, so we knew it would be difficult to find someone. We thought we had a technician from a different company coming and we waited for about four hours until we finally got a call. Unfortunately their machine “broke”. It was 8:30 pm and there was no way we could live in our house with no plumbing, so we started calling more places. It was Saturday and no one could help until Tuesday. River City Plumbing could not help, but they recommended Smith’s. We called Smith’s and got a call back in 5 minutes. John was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. And his kind and happy to help attitude eased my stress. I will definitely be calling Smith’s Plumbing Services again in the future for my plumbing issues. The price may be a little higher, but with such a dire issue, the quality of service and responsive time is worth it.And John has a really cool flashlight!

Says open 24/7, nope. Waited 4 hours to be told that. When sewage is coming into your house, the last thing you want is to be told a dispatcher will call you in a few minutes. And 4 hours later you get a text saying, sorry, I'm not going to come tonight. I never even heard from a dispatcher, even though I called and let the answering service know after the 1st hour.

I am so impressed and completely grateful for Smith’s Plumbing! I woke up to gurgling coming from my master bathroom on Friday morning, the start of Labor Day weekend. When I entered my bathroom, I found an overflowing toilet, a tub and walk in shower full of standing water. After looking at my other bathrooms and kitchen sinks, I realized I had a serious blockage. We had no working toilets and obviously could not shower or bath. I immediately called Smith’s. They were able to get a technician out to me within a few hours to repair the problem. My technician was Tyler. He was extremely respectful! He wore a mask and shoe covers inside my home. He assessed the situation and explained everything he was going to do. He was able to repair the problem within 30 minutes and we were back in business.FYI… flushable wipes are NOT flushable!!I’m very grateful me and my family did not have to spend the holiday weekend in a hotel. Tyler, Tim, Travis and Lars (I think) were all very professional, prompt, knowledgeable and expert technicians in evaluating and repairing the original shower valve issue as well as the shower drain issue (not their fault) discovered after the repair. I am so impressed with Smith Plumbing! This company visited every school in my district during teacher appreciation week and served us all a fantastic breakfast! I remember thinking, if I ever needed a plumber, I would call them. Well, was luck would have it, the following weekend I discovered a major plumbing problem. I called Smith at 2 pm, and I had a plumber in my house an hour later! Ethan was wonderful. When their crew came to work on my sewer, I was SO impressed with Austin and Jeremy, who were willing to help me save my plants and flowers. Even more impressive was this company's concern for my neighbors and how the dig ( and excess dirt) would affect them!
