We use Automatic Air for our business and residential HVAC service. They've been AMAZING!!! They recognized issues with my large business HVAC units that several other service providers, as well as multiple expert engineers missed. They were able to correct these issues and my units have never been working so well. Even before that they've provided such great service and a very reasonable rate. They have a very professional, and personable crew. I'm so glad I found this company! Thank you to Chase and team!

They were professional and on time. Very knowledgeable However I can't say the same about two of the other businesses They recommended to me for other services. They've got some bad apples in their network. However this should not reflect on the work that they provided, and I have no complaints. They return calls and they're very polite. They certainly aren't the cheapest but you're going to get what you pay for with them, and you'll know the work is done right.

This is my first time using this company and they were so great! Arrived on time and fixed my problem. He was very professional and informed me of the services they provide through the maintenance contracts. I am very pleased.

They have performed several task at my home including dropping/installing two natural gas lines for my appliances, HVAC annual services, replacing an A/C and furnace unit, and replacing a hot water heater. The technicians are ALWAYS polite, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. When it came time to replace the A/C furnace unit, there were no hard sales, they spoke fact, presented options, and allowed me time to research before making a decision. I have referred co-workers who have also used their services.

I called this company out to do a consultation. When they came out I paid $105 for them to look at my duplex and list everything that was found from water leaking in my home. Everything that was discussed and seen when they came out was never listed in the invoice that was given to me. They also went to the lady next door to me to see if her unit was leaking also. Whatever she told them & paid to keep from being honest in their report worked. Nothing they found or discussed from the water in the wall to the water marks in the attic was not listed in the report that I paid for. Never again will I use this company or recommend them to anyone else. This was a total waste of money.

Update 9:42am:

Not once did I EVER instructed or tell the technician to lie about what they seen. Not only did he call a 2nd person out to look at the samething he seen, nothing he spoke of verbally was documented on the report. AGAIN I STATE THIS WAS A WASTE OF MONEY IF THE TECHNICIAN IS NOT BEING HONEST AND COLLECTING MONEY FROM ME AND THE NEIGHBORS NEXT DOOR.

We had a pipe bust in our laundry room during this snow/ice storm. They came out the next day and repaired it. They got here so quickly and got it fixed appropriately and we had our water back on within hours! Will definitely be using again!

We received a very competitive quote for a complete replacement of one of our HVAC systems. No hard sell for a lot of upgrades like we experienced with another vendor. Install was scheduled within 2 days of contract. The crew was prompt and careful in our home. They completed the work quickly and the install looked great. Follow-up for the required inspection was timely and efficient. Will definitely call Automatic for future needs!

Last night we discovered our AC unit drain was clogged when our home office was flooded. I reached out to Automatic the next morning at 7:30 and the sweet girl who answered said they could have someone out at 10:30. Told her that worked. She called back 2 minutes later saying she actually had a tech who could come now. Cameron arrived a little after 8 and did an amazing job!! He was so kind, helpful and professional. He even offered to service the unit while here to make sure we were good. He recommended we replace the evap coils in the next year, and we will definitely be calling for him! I was really impressed. I don't remember if I have ever used this company or not or if I had thought about it and never did for what ever reason. But anyway, I was very satisfied. I honestly can't say if price was good or too much because I have no clue to what I had done should run using a certified plumber. At the time I needed this toilet water line and valve fixed pretty quick and Automatic came to my rescue within a couple of hours after I called. The guy who got me fixed up was Jerad. I hope I got the name spelling right anyway. He was very professional, sweet, and had a sense of humor. He wasn't a stick in the mud. I have already called back for them to replace the water line and valve on another toilet before it decides to spring a leak as well. Called them to come out and unclog the drain pipe leading out from my washing machine. The tech was there next day and on time. He was finished in about 90 minutes. He made sure that the clog was clear before leaving. He also talked to me about potential hazards that would lead to clogging and gave me tips to prevent it. If I have a problem with my drains, I'm calling them again.

Chase is just wonderful! We called him for a weird leak with one of the units. He did a great job troubleshooting and solving the problem. He even did a quick check of all the air filters even though he had just done our bi-annual HVAC checkups and cleanings a couple of months before. We've been using Automatic for just over a year and they are amazing. They've maintained our 100 year old boiler, the regular HVAC units, and installed the most awesome minisplits last summer.

They replaced a 26 year old unit and added a couple of new intakes. Very professional, on time, concerned with a good thoughtful installation, good communications, cleaned after themselves and an overall good experience.

On the 2nd morning of a 100 degree heat wave I woke up without AC. I called Automatic Heating & Plumbing and the owner answered the phone at 6 AM! He scheduled a service call and Bill Deering arrived and figured out the problem and had it fixed within minutes! Professional reliable and honest service are what I’ve come to expect from Automatic. Jared Lott was punctual, courteous, respectful, and informative. He showed me the camera's view as it went through my sewer line. Another company sent out by First American Home Warranty sent his rooter through and pulled some roots out and told me I had a broken line and needed it replaced. Jared could not find a broken line. He did remove a few more roots and replaced a cap on the city cleanout. The fee charged was very little more than the $85 I paid FAHW. I highly recommend Automatic and especially Jared Lott. They arrived at my home around 8:30am and worked all morning into the afternoon. They took out my old unit and not only that, they made sure everything was clean when they finished. Replaced my leaking water heater with brand new one. Serviceman (Kris) came around 8AM and gave an estimate and was able to get it installed same day. Its 2PM now and the new hot water heater is already running hot water.

Therefore, I called Automatic. The lady that answered the phone was delightful. She told me that she could send someone out the next day. She gave me the time and name of the person. The company communicated with me through email and text until the plumber arrived. I loved the communication because I knew when the plumber was on his way, etc. Well, Jared (the plumber) came out to fix the commode. He was on time (actually slightly ahead of time). Jared was very polite and professional. As soon as he walked into the bathroom, he told me what was wrong with the commode and what it would cost to fix it. I agreed to the price, and he resolved the commode issue effortlessly. Actually he fixed it better than the original installment. Thank you, Jared and Automatic - Great Service!

We are have been very satisfied with this company for the past 11 yrs. Everyone we have been in contact with have been very courteous and helpful.

We had the pleasure to meet with Sam the owner, who provided us with his recommendations for updating our system. Even though I was skeptical of the higher costing system, Sam took the time to explain the reasons and benefits of the system and the estimated savings on the cost of operation. In the end, I am glad we went with Automatic. The crew was attentive and polite, and minimized the interruption of having the entire system down for as short of period of time while the new components were installed. Have used a/c and plumbing divisions several times recently. Glad I found them. Absolutely top notch company. I cannot say enough good things about Automatic.

Bill from AAC came out and, after some investigating to find out why there was no power to it, he discovered the breaker was turned off for the heating unit, which is necessary for the AC to run. Power Doctors had come out the day before with two guys who looked at that breaker unit multiple times. I noted then that the heater switch was off, but they never tried to flip it. Instead they left to buy a new contactor for the unit, but the unit still didn't work, of course, after that, since it was turned off. Bill stayed to make sure both units inside had clean filters and took time to explain the inner parts of the condenser outside, and how he could tell it had problems prior to this. He's the one who got our AC operating but charged less than Power Doctors, who didn't think to turn it on.

Honest trustworthy people at a reasonable price!

I had two issues with my plumbing and I googled the company’s in Memphis and looked at the reviews. And I ended up calling this company out for my second issue. I was not impressed with the first company I called out, they were overpriced and didn’t stay out here half the time as this company and the price was outrageous to say the least. I was soooo impressed by this company’s thoroughness to get the issue taken care of, their empathy, and kindness, it just overwhelmed me. I was grateful for everything and the reasonable price I tried to tip Bill! He wouldn’t accept it which to me showed even more character. I am so impressed I deleted the other plumbing phone number and will be calling this company if ever needing help again. What a great company at a reasonable price! He was also very knowledgeable of his job and honest. It has been really hard to find a trustworthy company as a woman, that’s not trying to take advantage of my ill knowledge in the plumbing field. You can trust this company to do the job right at a reasonable price honestly! 💖

I rarely write reviews.. like for most, a good job at a fair price is expected. Rarely if ever does that happen in the plumbing world in Collierville from my 15 years experience. Recently my drains were all clogged “again”. I called the most popular service, they came out did their thing, charged me. An hour later The drains were overflowing again. I read the positive reviews about Automatic and gave the a shot. It was the best Plumbing experience is my life.

With cameras and had to get on the roof and snake the pipes. It took 3 guys a few hours but it was done right and at an extremely fair price.

I have gone through many HVAC companies over the years and this is by far the best in my opinion. Their pricing was well below the other 3 quotes I got from competitors, and they were very professional in the installation and walking me through aspects I might not have even thought about. They didn't push up-sales and even talked me out of some things that I thought I needed when it was apparent it would not help in my setup. They were knowledgeable about any items I asked about and did a wonderful job with the installation. They put down plastic and cleaned up after themselves and all of the work was top notch. They were on time, amazingly even early for most of their appointments, which has not been my experience in the past with other companies. I am working from home currently, and I barely even noticed they were here except for the few times when they needed power tools. It was nice that their quotes had 4 levels of pricing so that you could see the difference and decide on things yourself. It even linked to the units brochures and you could easily find reviews and specifications for any of them. Not to mention it was all electronic, no paper to go look at and lose. Just a simple email with links. One of the other quotes I received just said base unit. When I asked they said they would have to look for what the current base unit was, how is that easy for me to do any research on? I am happy that I happened upon this company as it has been an amazing experience for me, and I will be much more strict in looking at companies for other services I need based on this.

The gentlemen that were sent to my residence to repair my outside unit were very professional. They showed up with their valiant steeds and bags on their backs ready to get the job done. I watched as they hoisted the old unit out of it's resting position and strapped it to their steads' back to haul off into the sunset. The job took them all of 30 seconds to complete and I went from living in the awful deserts and back to a somewhat normal existence.

I have used Automatic for my home on multiple occasions. First for some minor repairs and service, and then for a complete upgrade to my home HVAC system, and replacement of my hot water heater. In every instance, they have been quick, on time, professional and thorough. After 6 years, and multiple calls, I've never had an issue, or had to call them back. Jared, my plumbing technician, was helpful, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He quickly resolved my issue and advised me on the best way to avoid future issues.

Chase did the annual inspection and maintenance of our air conditioning unit. He was a member of the crew that installed our heating and air conditioning system last year and he remembered us. He arrived on time and was very friendly but also respectful and professional. He explained everything he did and took the time to answer all the questions I had. I will be requesting him when it's time for our heating system maintenance in the fall.

Technician AUGUST was my serviceman on recent maintenance call.. He was Very (VERY) professional, and worked in a timely fashion. He kept me up to speed on everything happening with my system, which, fortunately, had no issues. We talked a little about filters and the fact that I need to be more diligent. I did not think it would be possible to find an HVAC company that still had ethics. I have been through so much with different companies until I was about to throw my hands up and learn HVAC myself lol but seriously it was bad and all faith was lost in those types of businesses until I googled and found this company.....that statement may sound cliche..... but what my family experienced from this company is far from cliche! They went above and beyond for my family in our desperate time of need! Chris was amazing from beginning to end! He was very patient, very educated about his products, and my biggest highlight was that her was not pushy with alot of upsales. He showed us all of our options and also services that could be added...but no pressure! I cannot say enough how important that part of selling is for a consumers. Pushy is very much so a turn off. The communication was immaculate and the process was seamless. We had a crew of guys come to our home, work very hard and leave without it looking like anyone had been here. They were on time, very well organized, respectful and fast! (They clean up after themselves...wow factor for me!) I have never experienced all of that with one company! My AC went out recently and while I had two people come out the problem persisted. Then my landlord got Automatic to come out and Cameron was amazing. Did a great job installing 2 new heating units, adding small things here and there. Used for plumping services as well,, happy with all services so far. Last summer had some reoccurring AC issues, which I had issues getting resolved with another reputable company. I called to set up an appointment, and next day showed up to do full analysis on the issues AC unit. They took time out to have a conversation with me and walked me through entirely what was wrong with the unit. Automatic fixed the issue faster than any timing expectations I had. I had AC running before no time. The service men were extremely polite as well. Very trustworthy company and does great work. Definitely recommend to anyone in North Mississippi and Memphis area.

I usually go with Conway for any HVAC issue I have, but Automatic absolutely gave them a run for their money. From beginning to end, everything was amazing! Communication was consistently great and they will answer any question you ask. I really can't believe how amazing they were. Also, I never felt pressured to hire them. They were completely transparent and offered a complete picture of everything from purchasing to installation. I would definitely recommend. Chris, who came out to give me the quote, was fantastic. I needed to improve on house-wide air cleanliness for heating and A/C. Called office to inquire. Within several hours, got a call back from Chris Lewellen, Comfort Consultant. We set up an appointment based on my availability. Chris phoned an hour before to make sure I was still OK with the time. Then he showed up On Time! We discussed my needs. We looked at my existing setup. Then he explained the options, what each would do and cost, what it would involve to install each. Then he gave me his recommendation. It was for the LOWEST costing option, which he felt was all that I needed. Wow! We set an appointment for installation based on my schedule. That should be in 3 days. Great experience, looking forward to the new system.

Automatic called me after my A/C unit started reporting terminal shutdown errors. They had someone out the very next morning to investigate. Very impressed at the level of service and that I did not have to call them myself, or have to wait several days to a week for service. Bill Deering is the tech that arrived, and also the service manager. He quickly identified and resolved the issue which was a clogged U-joint and backed up drain. He also went above and beyond to investigate if there were any other unrelated/unreported issues. He found that my reme-halo led unit was no longer working (which was still under warranty). Without any hesitation, he called in to order a new one. He said someone would call me once it arrived to schedule installation, and he would do his best to ensure he came back out himself to install it. Truly loved the personal touch! Maybe I’ve just had bad luck in the past…but I don’t believe I’ve ever experienced such an excellent level of customer focused service from ANY company ANYWHERE. I strongly and highly recommend Automatic to anyone looking for a trustworthy and customer dedicated company!!!

Great job installing the new water heater. Not too interested in answering questions I had...but did come back later with a reply. Scary moment when there was a loud bang which shook the walls and I thought something was coming thru the ceiling. Wish the technicians would keep the customer abreast on what to expect. Unfortunately I had to ask a few more questions in order to understand what was being done.

We truly enjoyed Cameron. He was professional and really nice. He was able to work efficiently and educate me on what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. He even went above and beyond what I expected when he replaced the light bulb in the attic and our air filter. Excellent service!

Best company in the midsouth

I had a home I purchased where a previous HVAC contractor did a horrible job in the install and all my duct work in a zoned system was done improperly, causing my house to never properly cool. I went through several contractors to try to identify my problems unsuccessfully for a couple years. Finally, Automatic came in and determined the only way to fix it was to rip out the poorly done original job and do it right the 2nd time. 3 guys in my home for 3 days. They took great care and did the install properly this time. I finally have a home that cools properly!

Kris and team did pretty good work. I used their service to replace the sewer line. Kris detected the problem quickly and gave me the estimate with multiple option. He also gave his recommendation to tell me what would be more beneficial in long run. They are highly professional and came on time as they promised. I am really happy with the work and will surely recommend them to my friends.

One of the co-owners, Rhonda Mullins, reached out personally just minutes after I left a message to have their office staff set up a time for a tech to come look at my heating unit. They were willing to work with me for the last appointment of the day so that I did not miss much work and I received a text when the tech, Blayze, was on his way to my home. Within 15 minutes, Blayze found the problem was just a simple sensor issue and had my heating unit working again within just a few minutes. Kris Ashby and Chris ? came out to unclog my sewer system on one end of the house. He. Was unable to unclog due to it being a broken main line to my septic tank that needed repairing. Kris and Chris however discovered that I had another septic tank with the use of a camera into my clean out under the bathroom.
Best $199 I have spent, as I wouldn’t have know about the other septic tank that even the previous owner didn’t know she had.

I initially called Automatic Air Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing to come out to help disconnect valves under my vanity. While they were here, I mentioned that there was a leak in my shower that was causing my entire master tile to need to be redone. The technician, Jared, asked if he could check the hot water heater, which was in the attic above the shower. When he checked it, he found that it was bulging and about it split open, as well as leaking. We were on the verge of a major disaster! He and his partner, Chris, came out the very next day to install a new hot water heater for us. They were so professional and kind. They left the house very clean as well. I appreciated that they were also budget friendly when I was shocked at the initial issue at hand. I will definitely use Automatic Air Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing again!

Chase got in removed the old Halo unit and replaced it with a new unit. He show me with pictures that it was operating and show the old unit with the honey coils were building up everything. He was very patient and answered my questions. He was courteous and professional. Thanks, Chase.

A coworker recommended Automatic when I knew I had at least 1 ruptured pipe after our big freeze in Dec. 2022. Here's how it went from start to finish:
• I filled out their online Get a Call Back form and got a confirmation email.
• Kim called, made sure she understood all the info, got me on the schedule for the next day, and let me know I'd get a text when they were on their way. They also sent an email confirming the app't.
• 30 min into my 2-hr window, I got a text giving me the lead plumber's name and letting me know he was on his way.
• When Dustin arrived, he greeted me by name, checked again to make sure he had all the info about the known issue, and gave me a rundown of how they'd proceed.
• At each stage of the process, Dustin let me know what they'd found, what my options were, and what the approx cost would be for each. (He also showed me phone pics of what they were seeing so I didn't need to be a 3rd body in a space built for 1.)
• When everything was taken care of, he walked me again through each repaired item, showed me the work, and—because I'd asked—gave me a heads-up on other items I might want to take care of soon.
• He took payment via app, and I rcvd the itemized invoice immediately.

Note: Accessing this house's crawlspace is NOT a fun thing, and spending a bunch of time in it is, uh, also not a fun thing. For most of this job's 3.5 hrs, 2 guys worked together in that cramped space. A lot of people would've looked at the situation and simply declined to take it on.

Even if this had been a routine job, things couldn't have gone any better from the customer side. Much of the city had been without running water for several days because of water main breaks, and I'm sure nobody at Automatic had a holiday—but they were all super polite and took incredible care with their work. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I found them to be very professional and thorough, willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. The technicians were very helpful and very kind! I would recommend this company to anyone in need of the services that they provide!

Very poor value. Got a quote from them two install two minisplits. Wanted twice the going rate around $5000 for simple install of two minisplits. That's labor. Those should costs max $1500 each to install. Unfortunately we had to go with someone whose rates were more in line with the market.
