Tankersley Plumbing

Tankersley came out to our church to do a simple change...they sent two plumbers and only needed one on the job... they were working with the city and granted the city complicated the matter... but after talking to other plumbers we are definitely sure they way over charged the church. Their original invoice was for $1900 and they lowered it some to $1370.

If you do use them... My advice is to get a bid from them for sure before they do the work... I feel like they tried to take advantage of our church. I wont call on them again and neither will the company that recommended them to us.

I have read the response from Tankersley... very interesting... First they were not out there 7 hours... they did even work 4 hours. The city managers verified this also I came and went on the scene four times and they were not present at times as they had left for a while ... Bottom line they took advantage of us and I will run before I take it back... I have discussed this with several plumbers in our city who are reputable and they all agree. Even the company who sent them to us has discontinued using them and referring them to people. Just take our word and be sure to have everything on paper and keep track of their work.

Also there is no main Central Church ... there are many Central Churches all over...

They responded quickly and unclogged the sewer line!

Tankersley Plumbing has done a fantastic job of working on our leak at our house. We had an insurance claim and they have been here for us every step of the way. Michael and Shad and the people at the office have been very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend.

Told they would show shortly after 1pm. I called back at 3:15pm only to be told they couldn't make it until next day at 10am. They showed the next day at 10:30am after another follow up call from me. The plumber who arrived was very courteous. He unclogged two drains and gave me a quote on a toilet fix that was ungodly. Total bill was $185 to basically unclog two drains. Didn't even have to snake them. Wouldn't recommend.

Super impressed & very happy customer here. Total remodel of bathrooms plus an additional bathroom added. Replaced all plumbing in my house. They were here when they said they would be, no issues - they do amazing work. Great attention to detail & finishing of work. Very honest and actually care about the job they are doing. I would recommend them to anyone! Truly went above and beyond on my house. The owner & all of his crew are incredibly nice, respectful and honest.

Highly recommend! Michael was able to come by the same day I called and replaced the pressure relief valve that was leaking on our water heater. Definitely thankful.

Upon calling, they immediately scheduled me for the next day. Michael called ahead, arrived on time, was conscientious and performed a thorough repair.

Let me say this, when I called their office for a leak in my ceiling, they had a technician onsite within a couple of hours. I was frantic that my ceiling was going to fall in. It turned out to be a stopped up condensate line from my a/c. I really appreciate the office staff for being sympathetic and for the technician for jumping right on the problem and getting my issue solved very quickly.

I am very pleased with the efficiency and service of the Tankersley team. It was a pleasure meeting the owner; and Michael and Brandon was very friendly and professional. They made sure that my first 3 compartment sink was properly installed according to code. Even through all of the unforeseen changes that took place on my part of the project, they maintained a very respectful, professional and accommodating experience for me. I am so grateful for their service; and look forward to being served by this company in the future.

Warren C. was very knowledgeable in his job. He explained everything before he did it, and when he was completed. He tested everything to ensure it was working and in good order. Our main sewer line backed up... We called several plumbing companies and Tankersley Plumbing called back and had someone at our house in less than an hour. Bret was very professional and did a great job! He had the line clear within an hour and the price was very reasonable.

I can't begin to describe how thankful I am that I used Tankersley Plumbing for a recent problem I had at my home. I called them on July 4th thinking that if they were even open, they would charge an enormous service fee for working on a holiday. Much to my surprise, there was no fee for coming out to give me an estimate----not even on a holiday.

They came in a timely fashion (when they said they would), they gave me a free estimate (true to their word), provided an extremely reasonable quote (once again even on a holiday), and most importantly fixed the problem (efficiently and effectively).

I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am with their performance, their professionalism, and their work ethic.

A few weeks ago, all the toilets in my house were backing up. I phoned my home warranty company and notified them of the issue. When the plumber arrived he didn't even walk in the house and assess the situation, he just stepped into the backyard looked around and told my babysitter that it was a septic tank issue and that it was going to cost a small fortune to fix. When she phoned me I told her the septic tank was no longer even active!! We were now on city sewer. The plumber came back out looked at the cleanout next to the house, told the sitter it was going to cost a minimum of $500.00 just to get the right equipment there to clean out the sewer lines. At this point, I was completely frustrated. Fortunately, I phoned Tankersley Plumbing. They made it out to my house that afternoon, unclogged my sewer lines and left my house looking the same as it did before they got there. I was thrilled. Mr. Tankersley is now in the process of a bathroom remodel for me. So far, it looks great! I highly recommend Tankersley Plumbing, no matter what the job.

Tankersley Plumbing should absolutely be involved in your quote process. I received quotes from two very well known AC/Plumbing Companies in Memphis, when Mr. Tankersley provided me the quote it was cheaper than the other two, not just minimally......incredibly! Mr. Tankersley explained he could replace everything and the price would be much higher, but in my particular case it was completely not necessary. Tankersley Plumbing is now stored in my phone and I have sent that contact information to everyone in my family. Thanks for your honesty, you are my plumber going forward.

It’s a rarity to have the person who answers the phone be so friendly and knowledgeable these days.
She called me back in less than 5 minutes from me leaving a message, qualified my needs, and booked an appointment same day. When they had a cancellation, the tech called and asked if I’d like to move my appointment 2 hours sooner, which worked out perfectly. The techs arrived 5 minutes early and after completion off the job, they took the time to explain preventive maintenance to eliminate the problem from reoccurring. Perfect experience. I Highly recommend this company.
