I had a pretty major water leak outside of my home recently where water had started leaking outside and coming out from under the sidewalk!! I was beside myself thinking what am I gonna do now? From my first meeting with Tyler A. the plumber that was dispatched out to my home, I have nothing but good things to say about Mr Rooter plumbing! I'm a new homeowner and also a female who doesn't know anything about this type of home maintenance. Tyler not only fixed my water leak, he took care of me like family😊 He worked tirelessly over a period of 3 days to find my leak and did this in triple digit temperatures! It cost a little more than I thought it was going to cost at first, but it was worth it. If you want quality, you have to pay for it. I will and already have recommended Mr Rooter Plumbing of Memphis to all my friends and family for their plumbing needs

Very fast and very good work.

Our plumber, Chris, was able to quickly diagnose and fix a pipe issue that TWO previous plumbers (from different companies) were unable to resolve. I'm very glad we went with Mr. Rooter--I just wish we had called them first! I had never used their services before but they will be my first call from now on.

Professional and courteous techncian.

So I called for help. The rep told me the $115 service fee would be waived if I let the tech do the work. It was just a small cvpc repair. $618 with no itemized receipt. Nah fam...I would like my $115 back. A commercial company I called before them said they'd do it for $400 but couldn't come till the next day. I couldn't be without water. I want my service fee back please. That's definitely not good business.

In the beginning of the service everything sounds great. The job will be completed and everything will look the same. Not the case! My flooring is concrete and had to be broken up for the job. The concrete was put back only to fill the hole . When asked can it be place back like it was originally I was told we are plumbers we place the concrete back to the best of our abilities. That wasn’t stated up front. They only specialize in the plumbing and that should have been stated up front. For the amount of money spent for the job they could have hired someone to place the concrete down correct and do a better clean up job! Because only the plumbing work is cover under warranty. The concrete work I’m going to have to hire some one else to come out and complete a job that I in trusted Mr. Rooter to do. Sorry, for minor repairs but never for a major repair like this! I was charged for a professional job and finish but only got a professional plumber.

The serviceman moved our set of gas logs to another fireplace. He also repaired a bathroom faucet. Very efficient and professional.

Courteous and professional services both during the appointment process and execution of requested work to be performed. Plumbing technician that showed up was clean and very cordial. Did the work and involved me in the process by showing me on his camera what the drains looked like in the inside. Was honest about what didn't need to be done and what would be helpful to do. For example, he suggested we raise our cleanout to be so that it was above grade to make it easier to find the next time we had a drain issue. That was very helpful and we had him do the work since we thought it was a good idea. He was so careful about putting all the soil back and even hand arranging the mulch we had around the cleanout so it looked like it was always that way. I was impressed!!! Highly recommend for any plumbing work based on this experience with them.

Nice guy, showed up on time. He tried real hard to make my clogged drain more complicated than it was. He wanted to open up the wall and install clean out and see where the pipes go. After 45 to 60 min talking about it I insisted he snake it. He didn't want to but I said enough of this, snake it. Took him 10 min and the drain was clear. Charge me$375.00 I pushed for discount and paid $325.00. I'll never use them again.

I live out of town from where the house I rent is ,which had the leak. When my tenant contacted me about the leak around the hot water tanks on a Saturday morning I immediately contacted Mr. Rooter. I had someone there in 2.5 hrs. The technician was able to fix the leak within the hour. He was in contact with me by phone prior to the fix and afterwards. I even received photos of the problem before and after. Great Service !

Bob with Mr. Rooter is fast, friendly and on time. We had a hot water heater go out at 4pm on a Saturday. He called and said he was on another job but should be to me in 2 hours. About 90 minutes later he called and said he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem quickly, gave us our options and took care of the problem. We were back up and running quickly. He also recommended a restoration company. All in all, a horrible situation made a little more bearable by a professional. Will use again!

I had a bathtub full of what looked like black potting soil. There was concern that the pipe had broken under the slab, but they got it cleared an it works great!

My husband decided to remove the bowl, he found what was lodged sideways in there, removed it and put all back together. Did p/u a few parts and a new seal, and we are good to go…….literally!! My mother and I had a sudden mishap. We had a burst pipe that was extremely hard to get to under our home due to the small crawlspace. We called Mr Rooter Plumbing, and instantly experienced awesome customer service. Michelle, and Tanisha were both extremely empathetic, and made arrangements to send the best plumber out to assist us with our unique issue the next day. The dispatched plumber Tyler was beyond polite. In fact, he too was awesome! He surveyed our issue, and explained to us our plumbing issues in its entirety. On top of that, he had us up and running again in less than 45 minutes after his initial arrival! Mr Rooters Plumbing was by far the best decision that we made.

Outstanding service-timely arrival, great customer service, care to be sure I was pleased with finished product, polite and respectful at all times, care to be sure I understood why had to get new commode instead of repair.

I called on Mr.Rooter to repair or replace my sewer line. The estimate was $ 3200 for a partial pipe replacement and $5,458.00 for complete plus they charged me $99 for service fee and 14 for fuel surcharge a total of $114 for what they call membership. I was warned by another plumbing company to be a where of their sales tactics. l called Hugo Plumbing Co and they quoted and repaired my sewer line for much much much less than this rip off company. Mr Rooter is getting rich on service call and fuel charge. I now have found a GOOD and reliable Plumbing Co called Hugo Plumbing.

I have now utilized the services of Mr. Rooter Plumbing at my home twice and my business once. Each occurrence has been exceptional regarding the quality of the work performed, the responsiveness of the staff, and with the flow of information from the service technician. Our technician, David Cummings did a great job! Due to the original construction design replacing the shower valve was quite invasive, but David communicated everything in a timely manner and completed the job to our satisfaction.

Usually I only write reviews for positive experiences, but this experience was so UNPROFESSIONAL and UNACCEPTABLE, that I had to write about it. I could write pages on this experience, but I will just talk about the highlights. First, they were TERRIBLE at communication. They would just choose an appointment time without calling to ask if it would work (which I was told they were going to do). Then, when the job replacing part of our sewage line, was done, the yard was left a COMPLETE MESS that my neighbor had to call and complain since it affected his yard as well. Also, we had NO COLD WATER running through the house. When we had someone come look at it from Mr. Rooter, he told us that the workers must have not connected something properly so they would have to come back and dig everything back up and connect it back. However, I got a call saying that they weren't going to fix their mistake until they were paid. I was HARASSED for a payment for a job that WASN'T DONE CORRECTLY. We needed the cold water to do laundry and flush the toilet (which they knew) so we had to give in and pay for half of the project. I told them I would pay the rest when the job was fixed and done right. They came and fixed it. I waited for the call to pay for the second half of the payment, but they never called. So I called them and they said that the payment already went through. They charged the card I used for the first half of the payment for the second half which I NEVER AUTHORIZED. I planned to use a different card for the second half of the payment. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. I had the WORST customer experience of my life with this company. No one ever APOLOGIZED after the multiple mistakes they made. We went without a working toilet and laundry for a few days which was miserable and was THEIR FAULT.

Originally gave me 2 quotes, one to replace the drainage pipe for my washing machine which was $1200, and the other quote was for the washing machine piping and some piping under the house that he found was sagging and it was $5000 to do them both. A different technician came out and performed the $1200 repair and upon completion he told me that after reevaluation of the pipes, he could save me $2000 and complete the whole job. I agreed after paying him the $1200. A different technician came out a couple of days later to finish the job and stated that my balance is $3000 as if I didn’t just pay the last technician $1200. He called it a miscommunication but I call it unprofessional misleading price gouging.

I had a great experience with this company. Tyler was the one who came out to fix alot of things i needed fixing in my home. He was very professional. He also took his time to make sure everything was working properly once fixed. He discussed with me wat needed to be done once something needed fixing. He cleaned up after himself once he was done fixing wat needed to be fixed. If something else needed fixing on like a sink or toilet he would let u know wat else needed to be repaired including like tubing. He was very friendly and polite. I was amazed by this service! Most Plumbers take forever to come out and are extremely pricey. This company however was very professional came out quickly and was extremely helpful and nice to deal with. I will definitely be using them again in the future!!

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is by far the best plumbing company around to work for. The technicians here truly understand the value of teamwork. At most companies your coworkers are your competition but not here. The apprentices are helpful and eager to learn. And the office staff is excellent at making sure the techs and customers are taken care of. Hands down the place I've worked for!

After returning from vacation, my hot water heater was not working. I called MLGW to come and light my pilot light. However, there was an issue with some material left behind from an old water heater. MLGW didn’t provide me any direction on my next steps, other than telling me it needed to be sealed off. I called Mr. Rooter and they came out on Monday. Kevin was one of my technicians. He did an amazing job. He fixed the problem and answered all of my questions. He also shared some information with me to keep in mind when it does become time to invest in a new water heater.

Every person I dealt with at Mr. Rooter was professional, knowledgeable, helpful & polite. They checked for the cause of the problem (a broken sewer line) and came up with several suggested solutions. They were very clear about the costs and pointed out ways of getting the best work at the best cost and savings. As we might guess, with plumbing being under ground and an older home I was not sure where the sewer line was. They figured that out. They have the equipment. They got the system working again. Yes, I do recommend This company & would call upon them again if necessary.

The mainline drain of my house was clogged and water was coming up into the tub! Thankfully one of my kids happen to walk past the bathroom and heard an odd bubbling. That allowed for me to react with enough time and to contact Mr Rooter to have a plumber come out within two hours of discovering and reporting the problem. They may look professional, but my experience with them was quite the opposite. Mr. Rooter quoted a price and scheduled a time to replace a section of sewer pipe, which I paid in full before the job took place. The next day, I got a call saying they screwed up the quote and the job would be $1,000 more! I asked for a compromise since it was their error, and the best they could do was a $150 discount. The last straw was when they dug up my yard, they cut my internet cable and didn’t bother telling me about it! So much for paying the “membership” fee…it’s really not worth it.

As an owner of a service business that strives for excellence at each service I realize that sometimes things don't go perfectly. It is then that a company can show how really exceptional they are at service. Such has been the case with Mr. Rooter. The first visit did not address the plumbing issue at my mom's home. After reporting my concerns, Mr. Rooter immediately assured me they would resolve the plumbing issues promptly. They came out and did a preliminary diagnosis, and then came back out again on a snow day to do a more thorough inspection of my mom's plumbing pipes. I have a quote for the repairs and the earliest, weather permitting, scheduled appointment to resolve her plumbing problems. So while things did not go perfectly the first time out I must say I am very impressed as to how Mr. Rooter has responded. This is how a company retains a rightfully earned great reputation.

I had a great experience starting from when Beth answered the phone. She was super sweet and helpful. She was great to talk me down off the cliff, as I was very amped having water seeping up under my floors and backing up EVERYWHERE. She got the crew on the way almost immediately. They were at my house within 30 minutes of my call. David C and Modi were very professional and got right down business. There was a lot of blockage in my main sewer line. Paul showed up and we were looking at the camera footage to see the issues. They laid out all of my options and were very patient with all of my questions. They gave me a quick fix to get me back up and running until we get the line replaced next week. They were very helpful and assisted me in working with my insurance agent to get things ironed out. Very easy to work with. I would recommend this team to anyone out there that is in a bind. 100% AWESOME!!!!!!

I was initially impressed with the setup, service and communication with Mr. Rooters reps and technicians.Our assigned technicians, Cole & Mr. Donald did their best in explaining our plumbing setup and I truly felt they were empathetic to our major plumbing issue.However, I think the company’s pricing should fairly quote the labor, parts and overall SUCCESSFUL completion of the job. In a sense I felt robbed, considering we paid the amount we were told it requires to fix the issue. However, we still have major routing issue they were unable to locate, and charged for additional feet we did not use. I appreciate they have quality people dedicated to the job but overall I’m disappointed the assignment was not completely resolved.

I am never disappointed with Mr. Rooter. In addition to my problem being solved, I learn the why, how, possible solutions to prevent or eliminate, all with great customer service. I used to use random people to help, wasted money, and the issues persisted. I do not have to worry about that with Mr. Rooter.

I had an initial pipe repair and my clog was resolved by crew. However, 5 days later something else went wrong. The staff was kind and sent an emergency professional immediately on a Sunday night. His name was Chris Ungren. He was terrific. I was very concerned and had a lot of questions. He was patient and worked hard on a cool night to help figure out what issue was. He alleviated my concerns as soon as he got here and assured me the company would take care of it quickly. Mr Ungren found the issue and made arrangements for an additional repair urgently for the next day. He got our pipe working effectively enough until problem could be totally fixed. He instilled a lot of confidence in me and the company. I really appreciate his courtesy, patience, responsiveness, and professionalism.

The company was very professional and easy to schedule with. Scott went out of his way not only to diagnose the problem but to assist us in communicating with MLGW in our attempts to resolve the water leak. He was generous with his time and explained the plumbing problem clearly which helped us deal with the utility company.

Wonderful Experience!!!! Scheduled my initial visit within 24 hours. Diagnosed and fixed my pipe in less than 3 days. Wound up being less expensive than anticipated. David and his team were honest, and made sure I understood all my options. I will use Mr. Rooter for all my plumbing needs going forward!

Our kitchen sink stopped working on a Saturday morning, but they sent a technician out by lunch time and got everything fixed up enough for us to use, then came back and finished on Tuesday. They did great work!

Rob Daum came to my home to work on my dryer that was making a terrible loud noise when running. Rob was extremely professional and was not only able to fix my dryer but he also cleaned it for me! Dryer is working like new and I couldn’t be more pleased. He was very personable and friendly. Office staff is also so polite and pleasant to schedule with.

We had some major plumbing issues and Mr. Rooter was amazing. Their manager Chris Terrazas has the most amazing work ethic of anyone I can imagine. He and his team were kind and trustworthy, professional and honestly really fun to be around. The plumbing issues we had were so severe that nearly 1/2 of our house needed to be re-plumbed, and we needed to replace two water heaters. They worked so quickly... we thought we'd be out of our house for weeks, but instead it was just a couple of days.Chris even helped me navigate how to get the gas company to come out and upgrade our meter so we would have upgraded (better) flow for efficiency. He came to the house to wait for the inspector because I had scheduling conflicts! WHO DOES THAT? He's just amazing.He was responsive and helped me even after the job was officially done. I'm BEYOND impressed, and for me that is saying something.Hands down, use these guys.

I called Mr. Rooter in a panic when a clogged sewer line was allowing water from the storm drain back flow into my bathrooms and flood my house. David Cummings and crew came promptly in the ice storm to clear the clog and even recommended a remediation company that could immediately come clean up the mess. Mr. Rooter will be the only company I call for plumbing needs in the future because of their responsiveness, empathy, and quality of work.

i was very pleased with my experience on the first service call. i would recommend mr rooter with one note. i neglected to ask the price of a service call. when i used them a second time, i got severe sticker shock. the problem was a valve that was in the wrong position, requiring barely any effort on the part of the tech. no complaints about the service but do ask the price of the visit before you set it up.

Disorganized and unprofessional. I originally scheduled an appt friday evening for saturday to replace the hot water heater igniter that had gone out. They were going to call 30 mins before they came out but called 3 hours ahead which I would be great, but I was at work and couldn't answer so they just didnt show up. Called back sunday and was told it would be $186 for an emergency trip so I scheduled an appt for monday between 12-4 with their weekend scheduling service only to not have anybody show up again. Called back and was told it would be $186 for an emergency visit again though nobody came when I had an appointment. The technician was rude on the phone and nobody seemed to take any responsibility for their disorganization in scheduling. I cant even speak to the quality of work but know that I will recommend any other service before them again.

We have an older home so nothing is ever straight forward but he was able to see the issue and fix it.I highly recommend you call Mr Rooter with any plumbing issue and ask that William be sent out.In my case, our shower stopped working. I called on a Saturday around 10 am and I was set up with an appointment that day. William came and diagnosed the issue. He got the right parts and installed it.I got very clear estimates on how much it would cost and what was wrong. It was all clearly explained by William.Our previous plumber had retired so we just didn’t have anyone. I am so thankful that we do no now!

Best plumbing service ever.

I had recent service done with Mr. Rooter (Macon RD. location) and it was problems from the jump. The tech that came out had I-pad issues, and only gave me the choice of replacing the kitchen sink faucet because he could not put my old part back on even though he stated he would return the next day. No prices were discussed up front as they always state should be. He stated they did not have the part in their warehouse and it would be purchased from Lowe's or Home Depot. He did however come back that afternoon with a faucet and after replacing the part stated I owed $956.25 with no breakdown on the receipt which I had to get via email later that afternoon because his I-pad had blacked completely out. I have called into this location numerous times and spoken with Ameilia the receptionist. The supervisor Danny contacted me last week getting my side of the story and stated he would speak with the tech Sean and their GM and get back with me. I am still waiting almost a week later for an itemized breakdown of my bill so I can know how the total was summed up instead of just saying kitchen sink with an amount. Still waiting for info til this day which should not be hard to get. Actually I am on hold with them now while typing this complaint to the BBB. Very poor customer service in this regard. I would not recommend their service to anyone nor will I ever use them again. I have begun telling all my friends and family about about this as well.

Mr. Rooter (and specifically Chris Anderson) has solved several plumbing problems for me. It seems the older the house the more challenging the plumbing problems. Chris and the other Mr. Rooter technicians meet to discuss plumbing issues that they have been contacted to fix, and they come up with the best technique(s) to use. I am completely satisfied with Mr. Rooter's service and Chris Anderson. I wouldn't consider using another plumbing company.

Excellent service. Called for an appointment and received a call back 5 minutes later with a technician on the way. Brett was fantastic to work with. He was personable, knowledgeable and thorough. He walked me through all available pricing options beforehand and let me know he’d never recommend anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary. On top of fixing my clogged sink drain he also inspected my hot water tank and suggested some things I’d be wise to address. Will likely have Brett back out to work on my bathroom plumbing soon. Terrible! Call someone else. I waited 8 hours and no one showed up! No customer service skills. Every person I spoke with told me I was next in line.

I had great service from Luke and his coworkers, and I feel very confident in their work. Luke kept me updated and showed me all the problems and thoroughly explained what needed to be done. It was quite a project, and I paid a fair price for all their work. I am pleased and would use them again.

We have been a client of Mr Rooter for several years. They have always quick to respond and get an appointment set up. Mr Rooter sends an email introducing the Tech that will be servicing our home, prior to the tech's arrival. Their techs have all been friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and efficient. Worked until they found root of problem

The folks at mr. Rooter were fast, professional, and efficient. I would give them a five star review except it is an extremely expensive service. So my advice is call your local person first and if they can't get the job done Mr. Rooter certainly can.

Josh came out to our medical facility and was able to figure out our drainage issue , on time professional and couldn’t ask for a better tech.

We had a major plumbing event with a leak in our main water line. After seeing the good reviews and high standing with the BBB, I had them come out to give an estimate. Luke Haggerty worked with me to explore several options of varying costs. He also cleared the leak area to allow for a better understanding of the leak. I appreciated Luke’s explanations and promptness when we met. I will consider Mr. Rooter for my next plumbing problem.

I have never experienced such terrible customer service and work (or lack thereof), as I did from the Mr. Rooter company and its technicians. They did not take the time to properly investigate, didn't listen to my concerns or what I wanted them to do, and inevitably made the problem worse. To top it off they did not fix the issues they made worse to at least get me back to where I started when I called them. Their managers were no help, I was unable to get someone on the phone and they left my family and kids without running water for more than 48 hours. I never got a call from the manager who was supposed to call and rectify the situation. This company is appalling and needs to get their act together. I will not be using them again and definitely not recommending their services to anyone I know or meet.

Update: Customer Service during the week is a bit difficult to deal with.Ive been put off for 5 days now (as of 10/11) and my plumbing is backing up again. Noone has returned as promised. I still appreciate the evening weekend response but not the current response. The emergency service charge was way to much to be put off for so many days.Finding a plumber on the weekend is no easy task and it is not wallet friendly. I called multiple local companies and a few had a lower service rate BUT the customer service was my deciding factor. From the original phone call to when the tech left, everyone was nice and patient. Totally worth it to me, especially in Memphis! It's hard to find good customer service any where.

I called on Mr.Rooter to repair or replace my sewer line and install a clean out. The estimate was $5,458.00 plus they charged me $114 for what they call membership. I called another local Plumbing Co and they charged me $1,000. I have now found a Good and reliable Plumbing Co.

I call Mr Rooter around lunch Saturday and had an emergency with plumbing stopped up in my house. They were the only 24 hour service that was truly 24 hour the other ones said they could come Monday. Bob called me and let me know exactly what time he would be at my house so I didn't have to sit around waiting for him. When he arrived he found a major problem with the city sewer over flowing in the street. He explained that I needed to call them so they would get out and fix that right away. He didn't charge me to come out and left me his card so if I still had problems after that was repaired. They have the best customer service ever he said they just want to be honest. When does that happen these days.

I called Mr. Rooter to check on a kitchen faucet with low, cold water pressure. After 15 minutes of looking around the sink and taking parts of the faucet apart to clean them out, the technician couldn’t detect the problem and suggested that we replace the sink faucet at a cost of $1,237.75. I told him that his suggestion was out of my budget and asked for an alternative solution at which time he called his supervisor, who asked him to check on the cold water supply hose. This in fact turned out to be the cause of the low pressure. After replacing the cold water supply hose for $226.00, the technician then informed me that the hot water supply hose was now leaking and needed to be replaced. This problem wasn’t there before he started working but the technician insisted that it was, even when the area under the sink was completely dry.In order for both the cold - and now the hot water to work in the kitchen faucet and to avoid water damage, I now had no option but to let him replace the hot water hose for an additional $226.00. When he finished and was ready to leave, I noticed that the faucet was now leaking. He took some parts of the faucet apart, again, and finally left the faucet working. His final advice to me was to “replace the whole sink the next time”.Although the company came the same day I called and they showed up to the site on time, the technician wasn’t professional nor knowledgeable about the situation and was clearly set on up charging me.I won’t be contacting this company again for any of our building’s plumbing needs and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Rather pricey did not use services.

I initially had a bad review for Mr. Rooter due to some unexpected scheduling discrepancies occurring. However, I would like to say they have done an excellent job and the Manager, Mr. Avanti allowed to speak to him personally and apologized for the miscommunication. He was extremely sincere and offered his expertise knowledge on some of the other plumbing issues that are occurring in the home. Overall, ABSOLUTE EXCELLENT SERVICE and I look forward to future business with them!

Came out and charged an obscene amount of money but did not fix the problem. The next day another plumber had to come out and fix my toilet and sink. Mr. Rooter left me with a stopped up toilet and sink all night.

Scheduled an appt for the 8-12 window. At 12:30 I called them to ask for an update on arrival. I was told they called me to reschedule at 8:06. There was no missed call nor voicemail. I asked who called and what number they called. Zero integrity or honesty. Horrible customer service. Wasted 4+ hours I could have used finding a professional service provider. I will never consider this company again for any reason. Don’t tell me you called when I can easily check my call log and immediately determine I did not receive a call as you say. Be honest and admit your mistake. I will forgive that. Liars don’t get a second chance.

David and James From Mr. Rooter Plumbing came to the rescue after I lost my treasured wedding ring, down the drain, right before Christmas. Not only was it my wedding ring, but it was passed down from my grandmother and had a lot of sentimental value to me. After I called them asking them to come over, they retrieved my ring in record time. I was so relieved! Then something happened that I wasn’t expecting. After going over the various payment options, my husband and I knew it would be a challenge to pay for the work they did so well. Just then, David told us that once a year they do Secret Santa. And that this year he decided to choose us. It was completely covered. My husband and I were absolutely shocked, and so grateful. February 19, 2019….What an exceptional company with great customer service. I had a water emergency (flood in my in my front yard 3 pipes bursts, leaking into my neighbor’s yard). I was impressed that when I called Mr. Rooter I received same day service for them to come out and consult to determine if you would like them to complete the work. The technician Tye Santana was definitely my blessing. I was really in crisis mode and his temperament and attitude was just what I needed during my emergency. Great Job done! But, quite expensive to just have a Faucet replace. The cost was like buying a whole new sink.

The service has always been outstanding, and the same was true yesterday when CHRIS UNGREN came to my house on an icy day. He took his time, answered questions, provided helpful feedback, and even inspected other areas to be sure that everything was in proper working order. Highly professional and knowledgeable! Horrible experience! I paid $600, and when the guy left my problem was exactly as it was before he came. He said for an additional sum of money they could bring the big machine out and solve all of my problems. I called a local plumber the next day and for $175 he fixed my problem in less than an hour.

Garbage Disposal wasnt turning on. They came out next day and were prompt and personable. However I was charged $220.75 for them to press a red button on the bottom of the disposal unit and stick an allen wrench in the bottom and jiggle it a few times. They then tried to sell me a new disposal for $500-600. I know this because I had the plumbers I usually use come out a week later for a 2nd opinion and they showed me how to fix it next time and that it is very common and they would have only charged me the $59 trip fee. Also stated my unit was fine and did not rec a replacemen .I never leave bad reviews or even send food back at a restaurant but this was a little much.

I had a minor issue in my toilet where water was leaking into the bowl intermittently. I called up Mr.Rooter for help. They showed up the next day and tightened a knob to fix the issue. While I appreciate the quick turnaround, they charged a bomb of $186 to get this fixed. They refused to give me a price estimate which was another annoying part.Stay away from them as they are notoriously for robbing you with insane prices for trivial stuff!

William was on time and very professional. He provided me options to deal with my issue and then performed superior work. He cleaned the site and left it like he found it.

Very conscientious plumber. Had a sewer line plugged with roots, and he had to go get the special equipment, then worked until the line was clear. Verified it with a camera.

My appointment time was from 8-12, but the technician did not arrive to my home until 5pm. However, Tyler was very kind and polite. Although I think the estimate was expensive, he was fast and efficient.

My first experience with Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Memphis was a positive experience. Jacob was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He found the leak under my sink, explained the situation, and corrected the problem. He even gave be good advice about monthly maintenance to keep My drains open by using baking soda and vinegar rather than caustic chemicals that will cause rusting. Most importantly, there is no leak under my sink!

We noticed a large water spot on our ceiling Friday evening around 7:00pm. After searching for the cause ourselves we decided to call Mr. Rooter a little after 8:00pm and Luke was at our house in under 30 minutes on a Friday night of a holiday weekend! Luke was extremely professional and helpful the entire time he was at our house plus he fixed the issue quickly. We were also impressed that he showed us what was going on and walked us through the process he was taking so we felt comfortable with everything that he did. He answered all of our questions and even offered us easy solutions to help maintain our plumbing for years to come. The next time we have an issue or any plumbing needs in our house we will definitely be calling Mr. Rooter and requesting that they send Luke back out to our home.

Had a water line burst. And called Mr Rooter. First they say they are going to send someone out. After waiting all day no one shows up. I call back and they say they can send someone in the morning. Next morning someone finally shows and gives me a quote. I accept the quote and the guy who did the estimate comes out in the morning for a signature saying the guys with the equipment will be there in 30 minutes. 3 hours later no one shows. They later tell it will be another hour.If you decide to go with Mr Rooter in the future just understand they may or may not adhere to the time schedule that they give you. And be prepared to change your schedule at a moments notice. Or have a secondary company on standby in case they don’t show up all together.

I needed a wax ring replaced on a toilet. The technician said it would be $680! Insane! I politely said no thanks, paid their $99 diagnostic fee, and called another company that repaired it for $250.

Refused to use a snake saying the drain had to be cleared with a water jet and it would cost $900. When I refused to be ripped off the plumber said his program messed up and it would only cost $700. Wasted 3 hours waiting for them and couldn’t get any other plumber out that day because it was too late at that point. $30 pipe auger from Lowe’s and I had it cleared in 15 minutes.

Chris and Emilia were efficient and personable. They made me feel comfortable right away. They explained to me exactly what they were going to do, and what it would cost in terms that I could understand. This was my first time to use Mr. Rooter, and I now consider you to be my plumbing company. I will definitely call your company again if needed, and I will ask for Chris! We tried to help our grandson repair the faucet on his bathtub and quickly found we were in over our heads. I called Mr Rooter and they scheduled someone to come out the next morning. Their service man, Luke, could not have been nicer or more helpful. He recommended the least expensive way to repair our issue and had it all in working order right away. We could not be more pleased.We joined their Members Plan for future problems which we hope NOT to have, but it allows us a nice discount for a year.The receptionist was so, so helpful and so pleasant on the phone. All in all we will use them again in the future.

Installed a new clean out in the front. It was placed neatly in my flower bed in the front yard. All my hedges remained in tact. Edging, mulch and stepping stones were all removed and then replaced just like nothing happened.Very clean and professional job. Friendly and polite guys. Bob came in addresed one more clog in the tub and checked that everything was running properly . Very thorough .Thanks.

Brett and Javarion stuck with a tough plumbing situation to find our main line in a 80 year old house that has been added on to 3 times. I have used them on 3 different occasions, one for routine and two for urgent repair! Excellent staff to work with, quick scheduling. I have dealt with them at all times of the day. I have felt very comfortable with the plumbers I have worked with and had no problems with them in my home and with my family. They were honest with the quotes and transparent with the work to be done. They have all been very courteous, polite, and considerate to keep the mess to a minimum as well as cleaning up after themselves. They actually saved me some money on the quote because during the job they found out the situation wasn't as extreme as originally thought and instead of charging me what I agree upon they adjusted the quote to be accurate with the work done and saved me almost 50%! (excellent surprise) I recently worked with Jamey and he was very easy to talk with and he made sure I understood the problem and took the time to answer my questions.
