Attempted to DIY a leak in my very old shower. Unfortunately the DIY led to a discovery that the old parts were bad/corroded and even with new parts by the same brand, the old parts had caused serious problems. Called Catons and with 30 minutes a technician was at my house diagnosing the problem and coming up with a solution that would ensure I never had a problem again. He did it fast and for cheaper than quoted all on a Sunday night. Truly a great service!

Easy to set up convenient appointment. Kiangte [7909] arrived on time. Getting set up spreading tarps to keep the area clean was done before he started work. He solved a longstanding difficult drain problem; explained the work and gave us tips on preventing recurrence. The work area was clean when the job was done. Totally professional, friendly technician. On time, professional, great work is a great combination. We know what to expect the next time.

I've used Ben Franklin a couple times and have had Israel as the plumber each time. He's prompt {called at 8;30 am and he was here an hour later] ,professional and efficient. Prices do seem high ,but they tell you what it will cost upfront so it won't be a complete shock.To date they have replaced a shower cartridge,fixed leaky pipes and replaced a sump pump

He came in ON TIME. Punctual. Calm. Professional demeanor. Respectable and Respectful, both. -- My sink had been leaking profusely underneath, for quite some time. I tried to have my son fix it, he couldn't. I looked at it, seemed simple --- wouldn't didn't stop pouring out the drain pipe. He came in, simple fix (for him) and was in and out. I paid his whole fee, plus a tip. -- I didn't pay him for how easy/how quick it was (for him) -- I paid him because I tried to fix it and couldn't do it; I paid him because he provided professional peace of mind. I'll be using him again if we have another leaky problem.

Nick was recommended to us by our electrician. Nick is very responsive and can always squeeze us in. We first used him to hook up our new dishwasher and ice maker. The installation guys wouldn't because of my pipes were considered 'old'. Regardless, Nick came over in the evening and had both hooked up quickly. He even moved my old dishwasher out to the garage.

Recently, we used Nick to clear our clogged kitchen sink drain. He came out the same day and was done in under an hour. He is great to work with and I will definitely recommend him.

I guess there are two Butler brothers. In the past, one of the brothers fixed a leaky boiler. That job went fine. This past weekend. our boiler would not light so I called and got the other brother. I was relieved when he said he would be able to come out within the hour. When he got here, he seemed to have no idea as to what the problem was or how to fix it. I saw him disconnecting some wires then reconnecting them. After a few minutes he said he couldn't fix it and left. Before he came the blower on the boiler was working fine. After he left, that no longer worked. A subsequent repairman, said the wires were all misconnected. When Mr. Butler came to our house he commented on a political sign that was in our yard. I can only surmise that he is either incompetent or malicious. In either case, I will never use them again.
