I called L.J Bulter Plumbing because I was hearing a loud noise when using the water in my home. DPW was contacted several times to resolve intermittent noise. The water meter was changed but the problem continued. Finally I decided to call another plumber. Wes was professional, knowledgeable and exceptional. He diagnosed the problem and repaired quickly, PRV. Thanks Wes for performing a quality job.
Prompt response time and service, friendly and professional employees, and excellent work! I am very happy with the repairs they did around my home. Reasonable prices charged for the work done.
Wes did a phenomenal job. Another company gave us an estimate of $10K and two days work to fix a pipe. Wes did it in a few hours and at a fraction of the cost. Cannot recommend enough.

Friendly, prompt, professional. I couldn't be happier. I called one of the bigger companies that couldn't come over for a week, but when I contacted LJ Butler, they sent someone right away to inspect the problem. After I returned from Home Depot where I bought the new device, the man returned to complete the job - all in one day and at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend this company. A+

I have been using L. Butler plumbing for several years now for my home and business. They have been great to work with! Punctual, quality work, have helped us in a pinch several times with emergencies such as hot water heater and sump pump going up . Highly recommend for your home or business!
I called LJ Plumbing in the late morning of the day that my sump pump broke. They responded and replaced the sump pump that day. They are very professional and honest.
Wes Butler was able to come out and do the repair the same day I called, which was nice. He cleaned out the trap under the kitchen sink, put it back together, and reinforced the seal. We've relied on L.J. Butler for years and appreciate that they're knowledgeable, responsive, do quality work, and share some helpful tips.

I've called them on two separate occasions, and both times they were able to come same day and help me out! Wes even called the next day to make sure we had hot water again! The service is great and prices are very reasonable. Definitely my go to plumber!!

After doing plenty of research on plumbers in Baltimore, I called this company because of their customer reviews. I called on a Tuesday morning because my basement flooded Monday night. They said the soonest they could come was Wednesday morning and would be here between 9 and 9:30am and would call when they were on the way. at 9:15am I hadn't heard anything so I called. When I called they had no idea what I was talking about. No idea of the appt or the project. So the EXTREMELY RUDE man on the phone (I think he said Mark Butler) told me he would try to find out IF someone was coming. I said IF???? He responded that there were a lot of people there and he didn't take the order so he doesn't know if someone is coming. He was rude and nearly yelling at me because I was questioning IF someone was coming and not when?? He called me back and said someone would be here around 11:30am. That time was not as avail for me and the fact that the company was so unorganized no one knew what anyone else was doing and especially because I have never been talked to like that from a vendor - I decided to start from scratch and look for someone else. I am disappointed and upset that I did my research, waited with my basement in this condition so I can work with this company and now I am starting all over again - but I think better then that then enter into a job with a company that does not have their stuff together and then yells at the customer when they ask questions. I don't have a company I recommend yet, but I don't recommend calling this company.

Our water heater needed to be replaced after 20 years. L.J. Plumbing was recommended by Perry Hall Heating and Air and we are so happy they told us about them! Wes Butler and his dad
were awesome! I called on Tuesday afternoon. Our old water heater was a big tank, but Wes was able to find the new one despite shortage of water heater tanks (our size) due to the pandemic. They were at the house the next day. Everything went smooth! Also fixed our toilet. Highly recommend!!
I called LJ Butler plumbing earlier today because I had a toilet, sink and tub linked to the same pipes that were not draining. LJ Butler came in after about only 20 minutes or so and took care of all three. My bathroom is back to working again. What a relief! Thank you LJ Butler!

We woke up to no hot water and could not get the pilot to light up. My husband called several place but it was Wes from LJ Butler that was able to help us out that same day. It was decided that we needed to replace our old water heater. Wes came out and installed it in a timely manner. Not only do we have hot water but now we have better water pressure. Thank you Wes for all your help.
Put in a service request due to the toilet constantly running and signs of water leakage in the ejector pump room. Wes called the next morning, arrived within 20 minutes, and successfully repaired the damaged valve. Highly recommend this company!
Beyond satisfied. The French drain in my basement decided to back up after Wednesday's storm and I needed assistance ASAP. LJ Butler has fantastic reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Wes picked up immediately and I explained the situation. He gave me a window when he'd be out and frequently contacted me with updates on my situation and when he'd be by the house. I honestly thought I wouldn't have anyone out the same day but Wes went above and beyond and was at our house within a few short hours.
He quickly diagnosed the situation and was able to plug and seal the outdated French drain, seeing that it was of no use. He also showed me damage to the drain leading into the street, which was probably the cause for the back up.
After all was completed, I expected to pay dearly for same day service but was pleasantly surprised with the low (but fair) cost. I really can't thank Wes and LJ Butler Plumbing enough for the quality of work and professionalism I received. I certainly plan on using them for future repairs and installations.

I called LJ Butler early Saturday morning to come take a look at my dishwasher that wasn't draining. The company was extremely responsive (esp. on a Saturday) and came out to my house within 30 mins. The technician diagnosed the issue, did a quick repair, and drained the dishwasher. I am very pleased with the service. Would call again for any plumbing needs. Tech also educated me on the issue in case it happens again. Fair price for Saturday service and for how responsive they were.
Hired them to install a water heater and they did a great job! Was quick, knowledgeable and personable. He's already been back to take care of other plumbing issues (not related to the heater) and he is very reasonably priced! Definitely my go-to plumber from now on! Hopefully not too soon though! Thanks guys!

If you need a plumber, this is where you go. Quick, efficient, flexible schedule, willing to tackle any job and a good family company! Once you give them a call you'll never need to go anywhere else.
Kitchen and laundry line clogged, needed a secondary line unclogged on a Sunday so we could eat and clean. He was near the area and came in 20 minutes also fixing the problem in just about the same time. Very professional, friendly, and well-priced.
As a new homeowner I was afraid to call a plumber. A friend recommended L J Plumbing and I am so happy she did. I had a leak in the kitchen and they were able to fit me into the schedule quickly. While he was here I mentioned another issue with a utility sink. I was told I needed a new sink but he said I only needed a part. He had the part of his truck and I got 2 plumbing issues fixed. If needed, I will be calling L J Plumbing again !

We woke up to find a water heater leaking in the basement. I called Called Wes who was responsive immediately. He had me text him some pictures of the situation and determined we needed a new water heater. He arrived about 1.5 hours later and installed a new water heater and removed the old water heater. The job was complete in just a little over 1 hour. Wes was professional and got the job done! I highly recommend using his services.
I guess there are two Butler brothers. In the past, one of the brothers fixed a leaky boiler. That job went fine. This past weekend. our boiler would not light so I called and got the other brother. I was relieved when he said he would be able to come out within the hour. When he got here, he seemed to have no idea as to what the problem was or how to fix it. I saw him disconnecting some wires then reconnecting them. After a few minutes he said he couldn't fix it and left. Before he came the blower on the boiler was working fine. After he left, that no longer worked. A subsequent repairman, said the wires were all misconnected. When Mr. Butler came to our house he commented on a political sign that was in our yard. I can only surmise that he is either incompetent or malicious. In either case, I will never use them again.

I had an emergency and this company was amazing. First and foremost, I called them on a Sunday and I was glad it didn't go to voicemail. The gentleman was transparent from the beginning, both about his availability and the price range so I knew what's the most it could cost. It took hours to clear my situation and he was very professional, patient, got the job done, and most importantly, sticked to the price range. I cannot stress this enough because it is very important for me to know the upper range of costs when it comes to this kind of work. Imagine you call people to fix something, they keep adding it up and you end up selling the house to pay if off. Haha this is what I fear. I would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs. Thank you again!

My hot water pressure dropped to a trickle on a Saturday evening and Wes Butler was at my house the next morning. These guys are super responsive, timely and most importantly transparent about pricing. Which was more than fair. I would recommend LJ Butler plumbing to all. 5 stars IMO.
Wes is a very trustworthy plumber. I had a leaking pipe running from my second floor bathroom. Two other plumbers quoted me $1,500 - $2,200. Wes told me the other plumbers were quoting unnecessary work and he could do the whole job for $900.
He came out to look at the job on a Friday evening and was able to complete all of the work the following Monday. I highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs.

It is 9pm an mr. Butler just left my home! He came to my at night! With an amazing attitude ready to fix our problem! He truly was amazing fixing a toilet clog effecting 2 of our main toilets! He was honest with his prices! He fixed our issue in a nice amount of time! He also gave us advice on what we should and should be doing!! We greatly appreciate him and his service! I know that the Butler Plumbing Company has been around for many many years Started By My father Lionel Butler and his brother Brice Butler. They have been very well recommended and have been a family owned and operated business. When my father retired the 5 brothers took over the business. Thomas and Jeff started a Butler Plumbing in Florida when they relocated. David Butler retired.The company today is still that way with two of My Brothers running it Lonnie and Mark Butler. We called LJ Butler for an emergency sump pump issue at 8pm (Rotorooter had cancelled on us last minute without any notice...and honestly we're kinda glad they did because we were forced to find an alternative and found LJ Butler). Wes Butler was immediately responsive, showed up 12 minutes after our phone call, diagnosed the problem and worked on it right there and then. He was extremely professional and friendly, and explained everything to us clearly. We were very impressed with his work and definitely recommend him.

We called this company late at night (11 p.m.) with an emergency plumbing issue, after calling 3 major companies that advertise 24 hour plumbing service, yet had no one available. LJ Butler Plumbing was friendly and professional on the phone. He came to our house quickly. He fixed the problem neatly and his pricing was fair. I would call him again for future plumbing needs.

LJ Butler Plumbing has serviced and repaired my steam boiler, replaced spigots, repaired faucet, reset toilet and addressed pipe leaks. Always professional, prompt, and very reasonably priced and always leaves the area clean. I wish I knew of them when I bought my house 20 years ago. I highly recommend them for all plumbing needs.
The exhaust venting from my furnace and hot water heater had rusted and fallen off. LJ Butler set up an appointment right away, and came on time. Great service neatly done and friendly repairman. The job was done quickly, and the price was less than expected. I would recommend them and will use them for other services.
