Incredible service and highly recommend! Our AC system stopped working literally 3 days after we moved into our new house—right before the start of a heat wave. I called SJT and they sent somebody the same day. They quickly diagnosed the problem (broken blower motor), express ordered the necessary replacement part, and fixed it all ASAP. Steve and Mikey were fantastic, and they communicated with us the whole time--they told us exactly what the issue was and what the costs were to fix it. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely use them again.

I requested an appt virtually and had one scheduled 3 days later. Rich came to my home on time for my 8 am appt. He was fantastic! Number 1, he was nice and professional. Number 2, he explained everything going on and went over prices before doing anything. Number 3, he cleaned up before he left! So glad I finally found a good plumber for my home.

Our water heater broke on a Sunday evening and SJT was able to make it out to fix it within 24 hours! I recently purchased a new dishwasher through Home Depot - Home Depot was supposed to remove my old one and install the new one, but were unable to. I reached out to Stephen J Tant Plumbing LLC on a Friday afternoon (after Home Depot left the new dishwasher sitting in my living room) and they were able to come out on Tuesday to install my new dishwasher. They were quick and professional and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they were also going to dispose of my old dishwasher as well (I thought I would need to handle that separately). The cost was very affordable and fair. For any future plumbing issues, I will definitely be reaching out to them!

I have done a few reviews and really out of words at this point. I will say that it will be to your detriment to not hire them for plumbing issues. This team knows their plumbing, they are reliable and fast. Even though I'm not about rushing through jobs. They are just efficient overall and fair.

Fix a clogged shower drain issue that a previous plumbing service vendor did not fix. They were professional, courteous, called me to discuss the problem directly as I have tenants in the home, and as the homeowner not living there, its very helpful to talk to the technician directly rather than going thru my tenants. He gave me the cost upfront and fixed the problem within the hour.

I have used them a few times and have always been happy with them. All of the guys who have been out to my house have been nice and professional and able to fix my problem/compete the work. Most recently I had a leak in my hot water tank and within like 3 hours of calling them they had the new one installed. And that was on a Saturday. They also do HVAC work.

My drainline started backing up the day we were hosting people from out of town, and in a panic, called Stephen J. Tant Plumbing. In a matter of a few hours, Brandon was at my house to resolve my issue. It ended up being a clog due our overuse of the garbage disposal combined with an illegal pipe fitting that the previous owners of my house put in. Brandon was patient, friendly, professional, and didn't take any shortcuts in making sure my issue was resolved. He even took out some egg shells that were sitting in our garbage disposal for us, just trying to save [us] some trouble. He could have price gouged me since I was at his mercy, but his price was fair considering his time and labor, let alone the day-of service.

Happy to count myself as a new dedicated customer. I'll be going back to Stephen J. Tant Plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

Very responsive. Walkthrough the property, check all faucets, showers, etc. to discuss what I wanted vs needed, as well as timeline and pricing. I needed a new water heater, sink, faucet, fixing the outdoor pipes from the sump pump, and a couple other items. I can't say enough good things about our appointment with Stephen. Our AC stopped working during a string of 90° days, and I frantically called on a Friday afternoon and was able to get an appointment for Saturday morning. Even better, he showed up earlier than the allotted time (after calling to let me know, of course) and had thought ahead to bring specific parts with him. So many contractors waste your time and money, but Stephen was profoundly professional, honest, and straightforward with the pricing. Our AC was fixed quickly without any jerking around, and we are absolutely saving his number for any future issues.

Dishwasher installation - above and beyond.

I have a Bosh tankless water heater that started leaking on 12/3. I spent 9 days working with and talking to 8 different plumbers trying to get my problem resolved and ultimately replaced under warranty with Bosch. No one else could help me. I was finally put in touch with Stephen J Tant plumbing they responded to me immediately via Facebook. Explained that they worked directly with a distributor that Bosch had suggested I use, and they could fit me in the very next morning!!! I had been stood up by Len the Plumber for almost a week at this point Wu countless calls in returned and the run around from every person I spoke to telling me something different and that they couldn’t help me even though on the first call to schedule they said it wouldn’t be a problem. Enough about the bad competition. SJT did the job with a smile, immediately, at half the price quoted by Len, and with amazing unbeatable customer service, I’ll never call anyone else again!!!!! They saved our Christmas as we were about to cancel hosting with no hot water, no dishwasher ability, etc etc!!!!

I own an old house with old plumbing, and I have called SJT on previous occasions to fix leaking copper water lines and to replace a large leaking pipe that drained two second floor bathrooms. Most recently I called them to replace my water heater and to upgrade several old washer based water shut-off valves to the much better 1/4 turn ball valves. They are the most responsive plumbing company that I have ever dealt with, their people are courteous and knowledgeable, and all of their work to date has been superb.

Rich took pictures and thoroughly explained everything they did to make sure I was satisfied. We didn’t get other estimates, but pricing seemed fair for what needed to be done. Prompt arrival on the early end of the projected arrival time window. The service technician that showed up was professional and courteous, and thoroughly explained all educated suspicions and suggested work. The service technician conducted a number of tests to try to narrow the possible causes. The service technician was able to replace a faulty condensate pump after a trip to pick up the part. I was also provided with a referral to someone who could suggest some restoration work, should I decide to pursue that.

SJT was called out to repair a toilet that was both constantly running and leaking water onto the floor. Technician only repaired the toilet flapper and did not address wax seal, which caused water to continually leak into the apartment below. When I followed up, the representative was rude, abrasive, and unwilling to work with me to address the remaining water leak. This is not the type of Customer Service you'd expect from any service provider at any price point!

Scheduling a technician was easy. They do charge $89 for a visit, but will put it towards your invoice if you end up hiring them.

Issue: tech came out and completed the visit but never sent an estimate. Still charged the $89... called and got a refund with no apology for the lack of service.

Very prompt service, called at 9pm the night before, they had a plumber out at 8am the next day. Fixed my toilet seal that was leaking down into my kitchen and fixed the shower drain that was leaking as well from a previous bad plumber job 2 years ago.
