We just had our system replaced by someone else.System was underperforming and Anthony came out to diagnose. They put our previous system in 10 years ago. They offered a full system leak check. Based on the conversation and price (almost $500) seemed like it was going to take a while and require a lot of testing with specialized equipment. Technician just used a simple leak detector you can get online and it took less than 10 minutes, so I’m already feeling ripped off. The A coil was bad. 5000 to replace according to them which seems crazy or like they are just trying to push you into a new system.They sent out a sales guy the same day and offered to put the cost of the leak test toward the system which was good. Even with our “discount” of being a customer for over a decade and an ASAP member the whole time, their price was 70% higher than 3 others we got within a couple days for the exact same equipment. Yes, 70% higher…I can’t recommend Anthony to anyone now because it feels like they tried to take advantage of a long time customer just because our system was not working.If they are giving you a quote at least get 2 others.

Recently had Alex come out and help us with our AC unit. He was really helpful and got us a solution to our problem! We’ve had KB come out a few times. Each service has been great, I’ve had my questions answered and no work was done without my okay. All the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful!

AB May is the best company for emergency service! I called in at 6:45pm on a day we had a heat advisory. No fuss, no oh we'll get back to you or after hours fee. Our tech Nate was at our home within the hour, which we felt fortunate given the the amount of emergency calls they were probably getting. He found the problem with our A/C, and even though it's rarer than other issues, was able to take the time to figure it out wha the issue was. We are so thrilled that AB May truly operates a 24/7 emergency service whereas other businesses have it but it is very limited. I'm glad I called our service man from AB May 😄

Labor Day morning awoke to no hot water and a steady stream of water running from the bottom of my old water heater. I called several well known plumbers in the KC Metro Area but none could make it today. Then i got ahold of Chase with KC Water Heater. Not only did he bring out and install a new water heater on Labor Day but his price was about 40% less than the nearest estimate from other plumbers. He was very professional, immaculate in his workmanship, very neat and clean but he also explained the why's to a lot of questions i had. I can not say enough about the quality paired with affordability that is so rare today.

Chris came to my house on January 10th to repair my Aprilaire Humidifier -- it was not allowing water to flow through the humidifier. Chris fixed my problem by cleaning calcification out of connections. He was very friendly, professional and explained what he was doing so that I could understand the problem. I would recommend him again for a similar service call.

I just want to say Thanks for this company coming out to the rescue for my sump pump PIPE before the freezecome in! Bryan did an awesome job in fixing it, had another company out yesterday and said they COULDN'T Fix it and said you can go get this part and that part and I'm like ok, I'm NOT a plumper myself so I had to make a call to the professional....
