I hired Ace Handyman Service to replace my doorstop. While setting everything up was easy, the install didn't go as planned. Yesterday the contractor came out for the install. I paid what was agreed upon, an hours worth of work for $160. Steve delivered a third of the doorstop. When asked if he was replacing the entire doorstop he told me that he hadn't brought enough material. He left the old nail-ridden doorstop on my front porch, in cutting his materials he used the exterior of my house. My house is nearly 100 years old with the original woodwork, Steve thought it would be appropriate to drive screws in the trim instead of finishing nails. To top it off as he was leaving, he suggested I buy a new sexy door and told me how much he would charge to install it. Offended I wrote to the company offering them the chance to make things right; at least offer an apology for the off hand remark. The contractor did call however he was not remorseful, he kept saying it was a misunderstanding. I asked for the work in writing, you didn't deliver.

The surge protector on my A/C blew leaving fire damage on the side of my home. I called this morning and a technician came out within a couple hours to check for damage to the A/C and Furnace, which thankfully was none! I am grateful to the technician who advised me to get the surge protector when the unit was installed which I 100% believe saved my home!

JT came within 30minutes of my call! I was in a panic. Washer hookup faucets were so corroded I needed new faucets installed for the new washer and dryer scheduled to be hooked up in 4 hours. JT was very personable and professional. Connelly Plumbing does not charge extra for emergencies. I will definitely call them again.

They pulled out toilet to fix the drain. They splattered my walls with sewage, tore up a piece of molding and spread the wax ring all over my floor and carpet. They also scraped he rest of the wax ring from their boots or something on the brick planter in my backyard. I learned that when I sat down on it. They did take money off my bill but my house was just remodeled and the damage and 2 hours we spent cleaning up after them was ridiculous. The owner told us that Mr. clean would remove the stains but it didn't. The bathroom will have to be repainted and a piece of trim replaced. It will cost more than they took off of the bill.
