Moore and More Plumbing was called out yesterday to provide estimate for replacing flange at toilet connection and very politely proposed a ridiculously aggressive estimate of $968. When told that the estimate was out of line for a 1.5 hour service with virtually no materials involved, they promptly lowered the estimate by $200. When told that the lowered estimate was still considerably more than their competitors charge for the same service, their plumber became indignant and stated that he would not accept criticism. Okay. The job was performed excellently by another company this morning for $477. I would never call this company again, nor would I ever refer them to anyone. Well worth the $89 service call fee simply to know how this company seeks to do business.

Jaden and Samuel arrived promptly at 8am and spent the next 6 hours removing the old HVAC and installing the new one, including adding an additional return air duct. Had a unit installed in May and because my house is propane they needed to switch the gas lines to propane. Didn’t think about it until this weekend when it got cold. Reached out to my advisor Austin Hiatt and he said I’ll o get it scheduled ASAP. The first tech that came out was Alex that came out was awesome he was not propane certified but got it rescheduled for tomorrow but Pablo came out ASAP today and I have heat.
