If I could, I would give Champion AC, a six star rating. They are very professional, but what makes them THE BEST is the caring attitude. It starts with the moment you call for an appointment with Tracey and Maria: It continues with Noah the service representative and then with Ed, Raul and Jose, the individuals that installed our new AC. He was courteous and friendly, he called ahead, was on time, brought all necessary equipment with him and even brought shoe covers which was much appreciated. I had my annual plumbing check done by technician Noah Trevino. He was great. Very thorough. He answered all my questions clearly and took the time to fix a faucet handle at no extra charge. I am very happy with his service.I also had my annual AC inspection done by technician Brandon Paul. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. I was interested in possibly getting a new thermostat. He gave me several options & explained them well. Definitely a five star experience!
Once again Scott did a phenomenal job! My water heater was leaking and was overdue to be replaced. Scott was on time and did an incredible job! The plumbing repairs ended up being monumental, yet the team of Raymond, Ricky and Noah with their excavation, pipe rebuilding, and project management allowed me to truly understand my needs and make the decision that was best for my home. I've used other companies in the past, like Fox Service (I do not recommend them for anything, they're pretty terrible in my book), and Champion has always delivered! Noah, who's become my go-to technician, is extremely patient, easygoing and knowledgeable. He explained how my system was struggling, and answered all of my questions, even multiple times, informed me on all of my options and talked me through each one. The entire team at Champion is great, I can't recommend them enough!

Replaced water heater. Ricky was fantastic, very knowledgeable and professional. Did a perfect job. Great price and great service, what more can you ask for. I had received quotes from 2 other companies, as high as $2300 to replace water heater, but they came in much lower. So glad I went with them.
My technician Frank was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly taking his time answering all my questions and explaining what he was doing. He gave me tips for how to keep up on maintenance throughout the year until they come back to service again. He was also so sweet to my pups and cautious entering so they didn’t escape. I purchased the yearly contract which I would recommend to anyone. It includes plumbing on water heater no service fees and a discount on repairs. I thoroughly recommend this company for all your pluming and A/C needs.

I am a member of their service plan, which is a reasonable price for maintaining my cooling, heating and water heater. I had two technicians come out yesterday and they were so nice, knowledgeable and professional. Brandon did the yearly maintenance on my A/C and made some maintenance recommendations for things I can do to prevent issues. Noah serviced my water heater, inspected my plumbing and fixed two minor plumbing issues. My experience was so positive that I recommended this business to two friends last night.

Called at 9:50am on Christmas Eve morning and they had someone here by 10:30 to assess a burst pipe in below freezing weather. The person on the phone was helpful, friendly and very sweet, and Noah was quick and professional. He fixed the problem and we had water back on in under an hour. Fantastic service!
Edit: 4/10/23I had the opportunity to use the plumbing side of the business today. Since I purchased the yearly shield membership, they sent over Scott to do a full inspection on our plumbing system. He showed up on time, and provided excellent customer service. He was polite, courteous and patient when answering all of my questions. Additionally, I was impressed with the inspection. It included a flush of our water heater; which I'm glad they did after seeing what came out. He gave me what I feel was an honest assessment of our plumbing, and did not employ scare tactics to try and push for unnecessary plumbing work. Something that I really appreciated, and will keep me calling back for future work.Furthermore, I'd alike to add that I really appreciate the tracking system that comes with the text alert telling me the tech is on the way. It's nice to be able to see in real time where the tech is instead of wondering when they will arrive.So far every touchpoint of Champion A/C has been excellent. Very professional outfit.------Prior review for A/C side:Great customer service, and very helpful. I spoke with Amy to schedule a last minute appointment on a Friday afternoon for a fairly simple issue with my A/C unit. She was able to coordinate and fit me in to the schedule last minute. The technician Eddie was prompt, helpful, and knowledgeable. I'm very satisfied, and happy I called them.I have some A/C maintenance work coming up, so I'll be calling them again when I'm ready to move forward.
Had a burst pipe on 12/23, terrible time. Tracy with Champion answered my call promptly, was pleasant to talk with, and was able to set me up with an appointment that day. Noah arrived early, was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional and made sure the problem was fixed same day. A+

Alex is our service technician for maintenance and he is professional, prompt and very thorough. Can’t recommend him highly enough. Technician Robert Vasquez came on time, and did excellent job on annual home A/C maintenance service for me. He took extra time to evaluate the 2 A/C units and a very thorough work on the units. Courteous, but extremely over priced. We had Thomas from Champion out today to replace a leaking shutoff valve under our kitchen sink. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and did solid work. They worked with us on the final total that had some surprises by waiving the service fee, and another unexpected line item. Their customer service was courteous and they made a genuine effort to rectify the situation. The initial charge was going to be $480 to replace this simple valve, a 20 minute job with a non expensive, common part. They came down, but I’ll be looking elsewhere for more reasonable priced work in the future.

Water heater went out 5 days ago. I tried to get pilot light relit but was unsuccessful. The technician actually showed up 1.5 hours earlier than scheduled, which was great. He called prior to arriving. I told him I would be working to move a bunch of items out of the way. He said he could help when he arrived (but I had it all moved before he arrived). Scott was professional, informative, and knowledgeable. He was able to get my pilot lit so only needed to pay the $89.95 for the visit. Because of Scott, Champion will be the company we call for our future HVAC and plumbing needs. Scott gets 5 stars today.
Champion was great. They were able to fix the issue that the last guys couldn’t. Eddie did a great job explaining what was going on and how it could have happened. It’s nice knowing that if we have issues in the future, we can rely on Champion.
We had a leak under the kitchen sink. Scott was prompt, courteous and very professional. He assessed the problem, gave us options and was able to complete the service the same day. Very happy with the service!

We’ve had a mystery leak for a few years that just could not be ignored any more. Thomas was great about explaining what he suspected the issue to be and I appreciated that there were multiple options of repair offered. Both he and Matt completed the repair quickly and were conscientious to be as tidy as possible when cutting a pipe to size, removing drywall, and crawling in our attic.
I was able to get an appointment the next day and my issue was resolved quickly. The technician, Nick, was extremely friendly and professional. He explained the process and made additional recommendations to avoid future issues.

Wow I didn’t think customer service like this existed anymore. Our faucet in our tub broke (while on) and the valve to our main water line corroded so we couldn’t shut it off. They ended up moving their schedule around to get someone here immediately (something none of the other companies eve considered), then they sent us a text with a photo of the tech that was arriving and a bit about him (shows they care about us feeling safe and also their team by providing a bit about their personal interests) -that is a fantastic touch! The tech was fabulous!! Really really nice guy, he fixed the problem working a timely manner and helped us find coupons for the service. I truly don’t k know how they could have done any better as a company! We are very satisfied and will use them again if we are ever in need!!!

After a very pleasant experience on the phone with Montranique, Scott was dispatched to check out our leaking water heater. Champion was able send the technician earlier than the estimated time. We received text messages, keeping us informed of his ETA and one from Scott, himself. Scott was both professional and very personable, but never hesitated in the work at hand. He was able to replace it in record time so that we'd be able to have hot water, tonight. 01/06/2023 - My experience with Champion AC has been great because of their employee - Osmin - who went above and beyond to help resolve a compressor that went out on our system as well as condensor coil & thermostat.Osmin is a gifted and personable technician, a valuable employee and a sterling representative for the company. I trust him - he keeps on top of whatever the issues are until it's successfully resolved to the customer's satisfaction. My wife and I are well satisfied.Also Adam, Champion AC, called my wife and I to explain the day before service that they would be out to take care of the compressor. They were here right on time, courteous, helpful and with protective booties on when they came into the house.We rate Champion AC based on our experience with Osmin & all - 5 stars all the way.
Thomas performed the annual back-flush on our Navien tankless water heater. He arrived at the appointed time and completed the work in a reasonable time frame. He was very professional and had great communication skills. Would be happy to have him back anytime. I’ve never had an issue with Champion AC & Plumbing (formerly Faught Service Company). The service tech was friendly. Next day service a plus. The Tech Shared some options but was limited by his company on which options he was allowed to provide. Price was outrageous to replace a proprietary equivalent thermostat when I could have purchased the exact one online for half the price. Huge mark up?. I needed a thermostat today so I could have heat so I sucked it up and paid $1200 for a brand name mid level device instead of $1700 that would work with my system. I know things are more expensive but you’re about to price yourselves out of work and we’ll go with dyi mini splits or window units.
Our toilet tank cracked and water was everywhere. We needed help and a new toilet ASAP. Champion and Noah came quickly to the rescue. Noah called and came within the time set. He was nice and professional. He gave us options and answered all our questions. He had us all set with a new toilet quickly and also cleared our clogged bathroom sink! Ricky also came to help out. Turns out tree roots were interfering with my pipes so I called these folks. I reached out to my insurance first and they said they needed an evaluation form filled out. Champion AC came and gave me an estimate and filled out the form, no problem. Office staff was very responsive and workers let me know when they were on their way. Being a Champion’s client has been the best decision for our home and family! Without fail, they always provide superior work, answer all our questions, and help us with decisions that are in our best interest. We recently had new thermostat’s installed for the entire house, which has been a game changer. Next, we plan to have them hook up a full home water filtration system and can’t wait. Love it that they are up to date and knowledgeable about these type of life-changing home and health options as there are many to choose from and take a ton of research.

Anthony was professional and very thorough in presenting multiple options for replacing our water heaters. He was patient and helpful answering our questions regarding comparisons of the multiple tank and tankless options. On our request he returned to reevaluate a recirculating pump and PRV settings. He was attentive to our needs and provided helpful explanations.The only negative comment is regarding the roof work that hasn’t been completed. As a part of the agreement Champion was to have a licensed roofer complete the vent pipe area through the roof. It seems a small project like that should be relatively quick to complete within a few days of the install. I suspect bigger jobs are taking priority.That being said, Anthony was great and did his part well.
Scott with Champion Plumbing installed a new prv in my house plumbing. Service was professional, friendly and faster than expected. I will definitely recommend Champion Plumbing to my family and friends and have them ask for Scott!

Champion performed a 6 month HVAC and plumbing check. Scott completed the plumbing check. I knew ahead of time that a new water heater was needed as my current one is over 20 years old. Scott is extremely professional, very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything and answered all of my questions. He made sure l knew where my water cut off is located in case of an emergency and also showed my neighbor who happened to be outside at the time. I will have Scott and Champion install a new water heater next week.Bill performed the HVAC/heating/AC check. Bill was on time, did a thorough examination, showed me pictures of everything as he was providing his report. His service is superb and he is very knowledgeable. I’m glad I selected this company.Firstly, they do an outstanding job communicating job schedules and appointment reminders via phone, text and email.Secondly, they were always on time and had multiple eyes on the project (ripped and replaced the entire duct work, AC tune up, comprehensive seal).The price was the best and work perfect. They installed an air purifier that kills 99% mold germicidal killer. Great for living in Austin, especially if you have asthma!The home feels new. More efficient and cools/heats upstairs where air flow before was terrible.The owner Brent was here to meet the city twice along with the operations manager Adam. They were hands on. Gave me a free WiFi thermostat which is awesome!They also made sure I would get as much money back for the city rebates. In my case, 25% of my total cost will be a rebate check from the city in 4 weeks. Thanks guys!!!

Go Green wasn’t pushy about selling me something I didn’t need, totally professional personnel. Everyone from the AC Technicians (installers) Jesus Panduro and Hernan Hernandez to Eddie Montalvo (Home Comfort Advisor) are total professionals! The job took about 6 hours. Everyone communicated well and my new unit was installed effortlessly. They covered my carpet so that they wouldn’t track dirt everywhere and used booties for their shoes. What I really liked was that everyone double-checked all their work and made sure it was perfect. I give them 5 stars for their professionalism, courtesy and communication.

I called this business to help with a plumbing issue. One of the shampoo bowls in my salon has a clog and I needed assistance with unclogging in. I was charged $89 for the plumber to come out and tell me it would be $343 to unclog the hose. He didn’t even open the cabinet to assess the plumbing hardware! When I commented on the high price he said it was because it was a “new business.” (!!!) Needless to say, I did not hire him to do the job and won’t call this business for plumbing issues in the future.

1 star for friendliness and another for punctuality.I had GoGreen install a brand new HVAC system in my house almost two years ago. They were friendly, efficient, worked with my budget, etc...A few months ago, my compressor went out. I still had a parts warranty but my labor warranty had expired a couple months prior. They quoted me $2k for installation which they said would only take 2-3 hours. I asked multiple times for a cost breakdown since $2k is a fairly large amount for 2-3 hours of labor and was turned down every time.A few weeks ago, I had them come out to check the system since it was having a hard time keeping my house cool. Again, very friendly technicians. He said everything was working properly and efficiently, blowing cool air, no duct leaks, etc... A few days later I found 3 leaks in the ducts where they connect to the supply plenum, so I called them back and requested someone come patch them up, and they sent somebody free of charge which I was grateful for. I showed the friendly technician where the leaks were, and after a while he came back inside and said the leaks are patched. The next day I went to check the ducts, and there was no sign of any work done, and the seams still leaked. AC went out; valve leak, lost coolant...August, ATX, no bueno. Mark (outstanding) came out and did a deep dive eventually finding the the problem. He coordinated with Brandon Faught (not enough superlatives to describe this guy), who immediately took action getting us a replacement unit. Brandon, Robert & George came out, Robert did the heavy lifting and was awesome. They were thorough, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The replacement unit is now cooling and we're very satisfied clients. It all starts upfront. Who you speak with sets the whole tone. Chances are you're probably calling in with a negative issue. Too many businesses overlook the importance of their front line Team members. Amy & Tracy could teach a course on how to deal with a customer. They're the best. The Champion leadership would do themselves a big favor by acknowledging these fantastic Team mates. Give 'm all a raise!

Go Green is awesome! Their staff is always professional and will ensure your HVAC system is fine tuned. Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Bill who came to service our AC. Beforehand, I received text message letting me know who our service technician would be (bio included with photo), then a phone call letting me know how far he was out from the house. This was great, because unlike other companies, Go-Green kept me VERY informed and up to date letting me know exactly when my technician would be there. If you don’t like waiting around. Our upstairs a/c went out as soon as the dog days of August set in. Go Green had done our system maintenance back in March so I called them again (left a message after 5pm). They called me back first thing next morning and had Alex out here by 10am that day. He showed us plenty of photos to demonstrate the issues with our 11 year old unit and we agreed we needed to replace it.Noah and Eddie came the next day to install and were fantastic. It was an all day job and they were professional and pleasant throughout. At times it was 140 degrees in our attic where they were working but they always had a smile on their face.I appreciate the quick work and our new system is great. Brent and his team are some truly amazing and hospitable people. I like the old-fashioned attitude of Brent coming to check on his work and his team's extremely professional demeanor. We had Brent come out initially for an old system that had a configuration issue and later used him to replace the 30 year old HVAC that died to more efficient American Standard model.I couldn't believe it but he was available to do the job the very next day despite the short notice. His workmanship and prices were all very fair and so far a few weeks into owning the system can say it's much quieter and of course more efficient (6-8 Seer(?) to 16.5)If you're looking for replacement HVAC services definitely put out a call to Brent and his team. They have tools and services that evaluate your house and the fact that American Standard is a subsidiary of Trane gives you peace of mind that the unit will last a good clip longer than just the warranty has. Knock on wood that it might last as long as the last one!

I got routine HVAC maintenance and during the appointment they tried to convince me I needed a $20k replacement of my entire HVAC system. I got a second opinion and got a $500 fix the next day. Felt like they really went above on beyond to freak me out and push a really expensive option. I assume their team works on commission!

Our AC fan stopped turning, but we were able to kickstart it and keep our house cool. We called out Champion (that used to be Go Green) to take a look. The service technician came out for less than 10 minutes, told my wife the fan motor was dead (which was still going when he arrived), the repair would be $1400, and some one would be out in a few days. He left with the ac not running. We again started up the fan and kept the house cool over the weekend, waiting for the office to open. I called on Monday to let the office know what happened, that we thought the capacitor was out but the fan still worked. Champion would send someone new out, with the threat that if the motor was indeed the problem, we'd get charged another service fee. Thankfully the next tech was able to replace the capacitor and things working. Champion did refund our first $89 service fee, but the cost of replacing the capacitor was over $400. This is an extremely overpriced service. In the end, we could have been taken for $1000 more if we had let them, which is upsetting to think what someone else might have fallen for. Our house is cool now, but I would not recommend taking the risk or paying the outrageous cost.

We had an issue on a 2 year old air conditioning system that another company installed (but since has gone out of business). I was declined service from another company because they didn’t want to do warranty work!! I called Go Green and am very pleased with the courteous and knowledgeable people I have spoken with. Alex came out during the first snow we had. He was very appropriately masked, stayed a distance away from us and protected our floors with shoe covers. He explained everything, every step of the way and made us feel very confident with his skills.I have spoken with Brent, Celina, Sam as well as Alex. Every single person made us feel that our patronage was very important to them. Alex returned today to complete the repair and do a seasonal checkup of our 2 air conditioning systems. All is good and we are very glad we chose Go Green. When it’s time to replace our 2nd system we will be calling Go Green!

Had both of our 14+ yr old A/C's replaced by Go Green in early Sept. We had several estimates done. All recommended similar updates in duct work, returns, condenser unit sizes, etc. But Go Green offered the best (by far) combination of cost, warranty, and financing. Plus their Advisor, Brandon, was the most responsive to our follow-up questions and any minor changes we wanted or concerns we had. The install crew did a great job getting everything installed in 2 days, making sure we always had at least 1 A/C working (that was a big deal during those 100+F days). Kudos to Go Green for doing a great job!

Had a leak in my AC condenser coil which previous repairman couldn’t find/fix after 2 visits. Alex found it on his first visit and came back to fix it. Explained exactly what had to he done, step by step. Both times arrived on time, and was very professional. Highly recommended!
David, Noah and Eddie S. (not to confused with Eddie the salesman) were awesome to work with. They listened well to our concerns and needs. For example, we had an old system and a very old house. We were concerned about what they would find with piping in the attic. They started with the tour of our old units and assessing the pipes. The first plan was to reuse the same piping system but with further assessment and seeing the condition of the original pipe job, Eddie S. and Noah removed and reconstructed the work carefully and meticulously. They removed the old units and installed the new ones. They walked us through all of the features of the new units and made certain that they were all working properly before they left. If you could request this team, we highly suggest it. Made the whole experience a great one.

These guys were awesome! They were able to install attic insulation in the heat of the summer within the same week of my quote. I got a few estimates and their price was competitive with other companies, but I felt like Go Green cared about the project as if it were their own home. The techs were professional, polite, and took the extra time to explain/show me their work. Highly recommend and I don't plan on using anyone else for my heating/cooling needs.

We needed a full HVAC replacement including compressor, furnace, ducts, vents, insulation, etc. and had been shopping around for several months. Go Green was competitive with pricing within a few hundred dollars of everyone else, but had a higher level of interaction & customer service from the beginning. Our install/replacement project was a complicated, 6 day event but the guys at Go Green were all over it and awesome to deal with throughout every phase. The workmanship is top notch and we have been extremely happy with the finished product. This was not an inexpensive project so transparency and professionalism were of utmost importance to me. Go Green came through on all fronts. Definitely recommend.

We had a great experience using Go Green for the first time yesterday. I called in the morning because our AC was not cooling at night and they were able to get a technician to come take a look at it the same day. Mike, our technician, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and had our best interest in mind! He gave us advice on how he would handle our situation if it were his own AC and took the initiative to check on our warranty for us. He called the next morning to ask us how the AC worked overnight and let us know the details on our warranty. This family is happy to know they have found their forever HVAC company! We would love it even more if we could request Mike every time!

I highly recommend this company. They thoroughly explained their services and fees upfront on the phone and took the time to talk about the problem I was having with accumulated water in my drain pan. Alex Atkins was the technician that came that same day and did a thorough maintenance of the whole HVAC and fixed my problem that was due to condensation from uninsulated lines. He was very patient with all my questions and welcomed more questions to make sure I understood the maintenance process and the what/why/how much of the repair. I appreciated the transparency and education and I feel their pricing is fair and competitive. And best part is I know Alex knows what he is doing because I went in the attic the next day and found a completely dry drain pan.
I noticed my a/c unit was blowing out warm air. It was a warm June Saturday and I knew it was only going to get warmer. I called another company and the first appointment I could get was in 12 days. I called Go Green and Frank Barbera came out and quickly solved my problem. He was friendly and professional and showed up in less than 45 minutes. He went outside and came back in with a rusty condenser from 2007 when we bought the house. He said.he could replace it and quoted me a reasonable sum. He even took $50 off when I showed him an online coupon I found. Long story, short don’t book the first company you call.

Absolutely absurd pricing. Compressor fan ($100-200 part) was replaced and they charged $1406 to replace it. $89 Diagnostic Fee wasn't even waived. I called some of their local competitors and this should have cost $500-900 at the very most.Last month, they came out and replaced a bad Start Capacitor ($75 part) and charged $349, plus of course the non-waived $89 fee.Faught was purchased by Champion in December 2021. Seems like the new owners are taking advantage of unsuspecting customers who used to trust Faught like myself. Look elsewhere for your AC repair needs.
What a great experience. After our a/c stopped working and leaking water through our ceiling, we were worried we would have to get a new system. Go Green sent out someone within a few hours of my call. Troy was extremely polite, conscientious, knowledgeable, and efficient. He gave us some practical tips on how to maintain our system, and had things back up to speed very shortly. I appreciate the honesty and integrity. And we didn't have to get a new system! Wonderful company that I would highly recommend.

Then when our technician was on the way, I again received a message informing us. We wanted service as soon as possible and Alex arrived earlier than the scheduled time. Before everything, he clearly explained to us what the problem could be. Then he checked our system, determined the problem and provided us an estimate for the solution (damper replacement). He kept us informed at every step. And the next day, our AC was fixed.We had been working to resolve this for more than a week with unsuccessful trials with 2 other companies. Go Green was the third company I called after the heating at my rental property went out. I was desperate to get someone over to fix it fast, so that my tenants wouldn’t be cold that night. They called me back almost immediately and were able to come over less than an hour after calling them. Bill was able to diagnose the problem quickly and do a quick fix to make sure that my tenants had heat again for the night, but he wasn’t sure how long his fix would hold. So the next day he went out to the hardware store and got some parts to make sure that his fix would stay in place, so that I didn’t have to spend $1,100 on a new part. I only had to pay less than a 1/3 of that for all Bill’s hard work and am extremely grateful that Bill found a cheaper solution! That is honesty and ingenuity!!! I would highly recommend Bill and Go Green and will be using them for my house and my rental properties from now on!

We're new home owners and realized that we wanted to install a second and third zone in our 2-story home. We got a few bids, including one from Go Green. Eddie came out to evaluate the work that needed to be done and walked us through (in great detail) the specifics of that work, coming to a few different solutions. He answered all of our questions, even drew out a visual for us and showed up a video he took when he was in our attic looking at the duct work. He was on time and responsive once we followed-up and provided us a few different estimates based on our needs. We are holding off on the project just so we can live in the house through the summer, and will definitely be reaching out to Go Green/Eddie in the Fall to follow-up. Highly recommend trying this company, even if it's just to get a bid.

Go Green Heating and Cooling did a great job replacing my 21-year-old AC/Furnace system with a new two-stage unit. I contacted them for the Austin Energy Home Performance program (with loan). Brett and all his staff were friendly, efficient, and happy to answer all the (many!) questions I had.Brandon explained everything I needed, gave me a clear and complete bid within minutes of his visit, and shepherded me through the pre- and post-inspection process, making sure I got all the appropriate rebates, which reduced the price by a couple thousand dollars!Jaime and Zach worked their backsides off to get everything done in less than three days. They made sure I had AC overnight and for as much of each day as possible, which was so nice since I work from home. They were very polite and patient with my small requests (taking the back plate off the new thermostat; installing the CO2 detector in a specific place; etc). And they left the attic so much better than they found it!Sam & the folks at the office coordinated everything with great customer service every time I called. Finding a company to replace your homes HVAC system and duct work can be a daunting task. You need to look no further then Brent and his team at Go Green. I have nothing but positive things to say from beginning to end. From the initial consultation with David and speaking with Brent I knew they cared about what they were doing and wanted to deliver to me the highest quality and proper system for my home. I was overdue for a complete HVAC replacement and new ductwork and knowing the large investment it requires they worked hard to fit it into my budget without sacrificing quality components and workmanship. Noah, Jamie and Steve worked with us during the removal and installation of our new system, they were extremely professional and friendly the entire way through. Ready to answer any questions and focused on doing a great job. By the time they were done I was ready to have them over for dinner! Once the work was completed I had about a week to get used to the new system and then KC came by for a thorough Quality Check and make any adjustments I thought were needed after the first week. I called on Thursday afternoon with a thermostat/HVAC issue and was greeted with a friendly associate who apologized for not having anyone available for service the same-day. They were able to give me a two-hour window for the following day with their tech, Alex.Alex called and arrived well within the two-hour window and was able to quickly identify and solve our thermostat issue. He was able to explain things to us and ensured a quick and thorough fix. We had functional A/C again very quickly thanks to Alex. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Wow just had a great experience with Go Green! Troy was fantastic in explaining things to me about my air conditioning system. He fixed the things that were creating my issues and talked to me about black mold - which I do not have but about which I had some worries.Troy also didn’t push me to replace the whole AC system even though it’s old and having issues. Unless the issues get worse, he let me know I could likely get by until I have to follow the new regulations for Freon in a year or so. I asked him questions about all of this and I appreciated his direct responses.I also appreciated the fast call-back after my initial inquiry, and a time set for the next morning to fix my AC. Also great was having prompt follow-up by a person in the office when I had additional information to share with Troy.All around super impressed with Go Green. I can see why all of the positive reviews!

The team at Go Green did a Home Buyer's HVAC Inspection for me. I left this same comment with YELP, and it deserves repeating with the Google audience.We developed a leak in our ductless AC and were concerned how to fix it or if it was systemic of a larger issue. Having dealt in the past with other recommended air-conditioning companies we had regrets.So, I googled for the best ductless repair in Austin. Several company names populated. I checked the ones with the most positive comments; realizing that one must always take reviews with a grain of salt. After careful research, I selected GO GREEN Heating and Cooling here in South Austin off Old Manchaca Road.My first impression when calling was the professionalism and courtesy of the office manager. When I called back to schedule an appointment and got their answering service [another plus], he called me right back and confirmed my appointment; listened to the issue. I asked if Alex could be sent out; he said yes.I asked for Alex because the positive reviews that Go Green received, included Alex in their praise.Well Alex showed up this morning and was professional from the word go; very patient, he knew what he was doing - fixed the issue. He gave solid advice on how to prevent future leaks. The ultimate reason for the leaks was that the drip tubing was blocked because of all the frying we do and not cleaning the filter. So folks listen up, if you do a lot of frying - clean that filter frequently.Bottom-line - to my neighbors in South Austin and Austin in general - if you need help with your air-conditioning problems - call GO GREEN Heating and Cooling and ask for Alex, if he is available. However, I am confident that this company has equally capable staffers, if Alex is not available.GO GREEN Heating and Cooling is an awesome company with awesome staffing. And they've got one more happy customer for life. If you could see me, I am doing my happy dance - cause my air-conditioner is working thanks to Go Green and that's no blarney!
Today’s AC repair was prompt and professional. I appreciate the security of the advance text with the photo of my technician before his arrival. Frank B arrived early and explained his diagnosis before making a timely repair. So far so good. No one likes to pay for repairs but it sure is wonderful when your system is back online and cooling?——I’ve been trying to help my sister with HVAC air quality issues in her 10+ year old home. After 3 companies failed to show up (surprising as they’re all well known) and extensive reading of Yelp reviews, I chose “Go Green”.The positive reviews were impressive but I chose them because of the way the owner, Brent Merchant, responded and handled the few customer complaints. I’ve found even the best vendors get it wrong sometimes and that’s when you know their true mettle. I also liked that Go Green is based in South Austin.We were lucky Eddie Montalvo was our service specialist. He called to let us know he was on his way; arrived on time in a clean uniform and immediately donned booties. All basic stuff but you’d be surprised how many companies don’t care to get the basics right.Eddie really listened to the issues and what we’d already tried. He did a thorough system check and videoed the attic setup on his phone so everything was documented. He presented several options with no hard sales pressure. Ultimately we decided to approach in stages. He returned for a 2nd visit to finish the upgrade (because that fit our schedule better)—same protocol: calling ahead, videoing, reviewing the work and leaving zero mess behind.When I need work on my own home, I plan to call Go Green and I will be asking for Eddie.
My technician Eddie was knowledgeable, friendly, completed the service quickly and answered my questions. I was satisfied with his professionalism and service.On the other hand, I was disappointed by the scheduling and follow through through customer service. I was told 11 am - 1 pm time window. When I didn’t hear anything I called Go Green and talked to their answering service who left a message for the office. I still didn’t know the status of Eddie’s arrival. Called back again and spoke to service and they explained that Eddie had called and was running late. This hadn’t been communicated to me. Eddie did arrive around 3:30 and did a good job. I would have appreciated a heads up from Go Green rather than having to follow up multiple times on my own. I had the same experience with receiving my receipt. Need to improve their customer service.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. I was aware of Go Green’s impeccable reputation and gold star service having used them previously for servicing my rental property AC. I was worried they’d be out of my price range but they were the lowest bid out of three collected quotes. Installed my new HVAC in less than five hours. Great guys, very professional and left the house as clean as when they arrived. Advisor Brandon arrived with the installers, came back mid way to check up and did a thorough walk with us immediately following the job. He’s great at what he does and made us feel well taken care of. Highly recomend!

Great experience with Go Green. A/C unit went down and needed repairs ASAP. Contacted Go Green based on their reviews and was not disappointed. I contacted them late on a Sunday evening and they were able to get somebody out Monday afternoon. Tech was very thorough, patient, and professional. I feel like this was a situation I could have been taken advantage of in regards to repair recommendations, but he made it very clear what was necessary to get the unit up and running again while explaining additional maintenance, but not pushy at all on those items. I have had a few bad experiences with other AC and Heating companies, but Go Green Heating was a pleasant surprise. Go Green’s technician, Casey, was prompt, knowledgeable, and honest. He took the time to explain his findings and provide options. I originally called for a tune-up on two heat pumps. After performing the service, I had to call them back a few days later. They came out within a few hours of my call, resolved the issue at no additional charge. I highly recommend Go Green and will definitely use them again.
My capacitor on the outside unit went out on my ac. Johnathan from go green was able to come earlier than originally scheduled so that was helpful. He was a young cute friendly guy which was great, he was efficient, confirmed what was wrong with the unit, had a capacitor on hand and was done and on his way in less than an hour. Would use go green again.
Long story short, Alex was awesome and Im highly impressed after he bailed my family out of the heat in late July.Our AC system stopped working Friday night after a big storm rolled through while we were out of the house. Anyone who's been without AC in Texas knows how big a problem this is. I looked around online for a service company that offered 24hr service (as it was about 7pm at the time) and GoGreen was one of the business that came up and they had great reviews so I gave them a call. The person who answered was helpful and got me in touch with their on-call tech.Alex was able to make it over in about 30 minutes and got right to work. He went way above and beyond. After working for a couple hours to troubleshoot the problem he get us back up and running that night. I can't say the bill was cheap but I do think their prices were fair, and I understand working on AC systems is something that can add up quickly (and unfortunately the storm had fried basically all of the electrical components in my AC)Again, I can't say enough good things about Alex. He was super helpful, thoughtful, concerned and patient. He was even kind enough to answer a few of my questions after everything was over and get us paperwork written up to make our Homeowners Insurance Claim. I hope I don't have a need for AC repair again any time soon, but if I do at least I know who I'm going to call. Thanks again!

My newer Air Conditioner went out on Father’s Day. I called the company that installed the unit and they couldn’t get me an appointment until the following day. If your AC goes out it’s usually on a weekend or a holiday, and it’s always in the middle of the Texas summer. I called Go Green and they came out, diagnosed the problem, and I was back and running before my house hit 80 degrees.The technician dropped what he was doing to help me and my family on our Father’s Day. I am grateful and impressed by the professional and expedited manner my issue was resolved. I would highly recommend this company to everyone for not only service, but installation and maintenance. Go green is now my new HVAC company for the life of my current unit and the next. Great Job you guys!
Go Green did a good job overall. They responded quickly, kept us informed of their arrival, and completed the job. However, they did the diagnostic, but did not speak with us before repairing the unit. We did not have a chance to discuss what service we wanted before it was done. I think they need to do better here. The owner called me and received the feedback. We will consider using Go Green again!

Had my ac go out over night. Had one of their technicians Alex come out the next morning and not only was he respectful, transparent, and informal. He also had it up and running in no time. He went over everything with me and gave me some options to choose the best route to take in fixing it. Will definitely use Go Green again and again for all my hvac needs. The company seems more than reasonable with pricing. And it’s hard to find a company like this. I’m surprised more people aren’t raving about them!
I called this morning at 630am and Alex came about 8am. Our capacitor was out and Alex had it fixed and working within 45min on 4th of July! Alex is one of the most professional AC techs I have ever met. He explained everything to me and did maintenance on our system as well. Go green gives fair prices also. We contacted Go Green Heating and Cooling because we were planning to replace our old AC unit that had probably been in place nearly 20 years.We had decided that we wanted to purchase an American Standard unit because they have excellent reputations for dependability and they receive excellent ratings and reviews. Go Green was listed as an authorized American Standard representative installation company and they had received very positive reviews as well.We met with their representative, Brandon Acosta, who sat down with us and told us about their company and American Standard, which as it turns out, is very selective about which contractors they will contract with to install the American Standard brand.Brandon was very thorough and informative in his presentation and let us know exactly what we could expect from Go Green as a company and the American Standard brand with installation and back up of their work on the service end afterwardsHe was patient, polite and not pushy. He answered our questions and pointed out the differences in units and peripheral equipment that would enhance the basic unit and tailor its performance to the type of climate control we desired. As an example, he recommended an auxiliary add on that would controlmoisture in the air as well as the buildup of mold from moisture on the coil. We have already noticed that our air is drier has no odor. We feel this will alsohelp control allergies due to molds in the air which can be high in Austin anyway. We are very pleased with the unit that he helped us decide on and feelIt was a very good investment.He also helped us with setting up financing for the purchase which was a tremendous help. I really commend the attention he provided us with during the entire process. I had to contact him several times over the course of the process and he was always prompt to either talk with when I called or contact me promptly if I sent a text or email.The installation itself went very well. They crew showed up on time and worked efficiently and quietly in the attic both when removing the old unit and installing the new one. The quality of installation seems very professional and well done. It is evident that they pay attention to detail and take pride in what they do. We had told Brandon at the outset that the ducts on the old unit were delivering too much air to the Master Bedroom. He informed us that the original ducts had not been installed in the correct place on the plenum. So he had the crew rerout the placement and the airflow now is just right.The entire job was completed in one day which we were told it would be. The crew did not leave a mess behind in the attic and cleaned up our home where the came in and out as well.Overall we are very happy to give 5 Stars to Go Green and Brandon for the excellent work they did from start to finish. We will also continue to use their service for maintenance of our investment and will be happy to recommend them to others in the market for installation or service. We feel very satisfied with our choice of American Standard and Go Green Heating and Cooling.
The motor went out on our air conditioner and within a few hours of my phone call to Go Green, Eddie came out. He diagnosed the problem quickly and provided a detailed explanation of how to resolve it. He was professional, comprehensive, and took the time to make sure we understood the issue and any potential downstream impacts. Eddie needed to get the motor and he stayed late until the air conditioner was up and running. We will certainly use Go Green again and we have already referred multiple friends to the company- all thanks to Eddie. Additionally, Brent was very professional on the phone and we were very happy with the service from beginning to end.

On the first cold, cold northern that came in this past two weeks my heating went out. I called and they were there that same day. The technician was very adamant about getting the unit to work right. It took him but he stayed until he finished and got the unit working right. He must have spent about 4 to 5 hours but he was insistent in getting it fixed. He was courteous and very caring. He made sure that I was not going to spent another night with no heat. They responded fast and stayed until it got fixed. That is more than I can so for some companies that do not seem to care. Every time I have called them for service they are always very courteous and helpful.
I’ve been a customer for years and have been so impressed with GoGreen. The front office is super responsive and the techs have always been really professional. Today, Alex came out to install surge protectors on our system and he was exactly on time and super informative. Thank you!
Eddie was my maintenance technician today. A few months back, I had talked to him on the phone because my heat pump wasn’t working and I had a fairly new system. He was on call that weekend and over the phone helped me bypass the issue so I could have heat. Today he remembered the issue and took the time to figure out and fix the problem during the maintenance call. He saved me a few hundred $ and I’m very thankful. I have used Go Green Heating & Cooling several times for AC repair issues. They are very responsive and professional and have sent out someone on the day of every time. I have had a great experience working with Brent and a recent time, my fan motor went out and the technician, Aaron, was very helpful in addressing the issue and picking up the parts to replace it. Alex and Eddy were also very responsive and quick to diagnose a recent problem with my HVAC system. They were professional and thorough. I will definitely continue to use them.

I had an absolutely great experience with Go Green. My AC froze up and someone called me back right away to schedule a repair call. They got the unit running, but in the end, I ended up deciding to buy a new unit (old one was 18 years old). The owner worked with me on finance options and patiently described the differences between various SEER ratings, etc... The installation went good. All of the employees were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Clean up was immaculate. I'm very glad I chose to go with them!

We hired Go Green to replace the air ducts on our 50-year-old home and add insulation to the attic. We got quotes from 3 different companies, and theirs was NOT the cheapest, but we were struck by Brandon's professionalism and felt confident they would get the job done RIGHT.They also handled the claims process with The City of Austin in order for us to get a rebate from the city for the energy efficient improvements we were doing. This saved us around $1,500.The men who came into our home to do the work were friendly and we felt safe leaving them there to do the work while we went elsewhere. They didn't do a perfect job, but they came back to correct the (minor) errors that were made.Finally, after all of the work was done, The City of Austin refused to give us our rebate until an upgrade was made to THE WATER HEATER CLOSET. This had nothing to do with the work we were having done, but COA is a bully like that. Go Green really impressed us by doing these updates FOR FREE in order for us to be able to qualify for the rebate we were due without an added expense. THIS speaks volumes about their integrity. Go Green did those updates the same day the city inspector told us the work was required, and our rebate was approved that day!Last thing...it has now been 2 weeks since the work was done, and there is a drastic difference in the comfort level in our home! We've already had 90+ degree days here in Austin, and our home easily stayed at 72 degrees! Prior to this work being done, our A/C was constantly running on hot days and still couldn't cool below 80 degrees at the hottest days.THANK YOU, GO GREEN!

I called Go Green because I needed routine maintenance on my AC unit. The whole experience from start to finish was great!I submitted an inquiry online late one night and received a call early the next morning. The gentleman who scheduled my appointment for two days later was very pleasant. Today during my appointment, my technician, KC Knopp arrived in the window of time I was given. Mr. Knopp was very honest, professional, and explained everything he was doin in detail. He also demonstrated excellent customer service. I received a confirmation text after setting up my appointment and a reminder text the day before my appointment. The day of my appointment, I received a friendly text with details about my technician, along with his photo. This really impressed me, and I think it’s a great touch offered to customers so they know who to expect and can feel safe knowing they’re letting the right person into their home. At the end of the maintenance, Mr. Knopp went over my AC maintenance report, and sent me a copy to my email.Lastly, I really appreciate that Go Green and it’s employees are doing their part in maintaining social distancing, equipped with masks, gloves and shoe booties during this pandemic.All around, this is a superb company, and I’m always happy to do business with a local company. I’ll definitely call on this company in the future and highly recommend them.

Brent, owner of Go Green, called me back within five minutes, even though it was after hours. He was very informative and polite. I told him I had been dealing with another company for a week with no progress. Brent had someone out the next morning and got everything working same day. The guy who came out was Nick, and he also was smart and polite and efficient. Great service.
Very impressed! The technician knew his stuff. He troubleshooted the whole thing like a pro, talking us through each bit of it so we understood it too, and had it figured out and fixed all within an hour. And then he did his due diligence to make sure everything else was in order and it was actually repaired. No up-selling or trying to get us to buy parts or expensive treatments we don’t really need. Made some suggestion for future but not in a pressure-you kind of way, more of a “I’m an expert and this is what I recommend” kind of way. Based on this experience I will definitely be going back to them for anything else I need and plan to get the maintenance plan as well.

UPDATE: I called Go Green again after my heating unit started giving me trouble. I requested Eddie because he had done such a good job on a previous job. Eddie and his brother, Alex, came out and diagnosed the problem with my heating unit. They did a temporary fix so that we could use the heater and then came back a few days later to finish the job. As before, Eddie and Alex were both professional, friendly, and were happy to answer all of my questions about their repairs.Go Green will be my first choice for any cooling or heating problems that arise in the future.----------My A/C was blowing warm air making the house very stuffy and uncomfortable. I called Go Green A/C and Heat because they had excellent reviews on Yelp and Google. They sent their tech Eddie out within one hour and Eddie quickly diagnosed the problem (backed up drain line) and recommended different ways I could address the problem myself. He also topped off the refrigerant in my A/C unit to improve its performance. Eddie was friendly, informative, and professional. Go Green will now be my go-to place for any A/C or heat related problems. I highly recommend them!

They we're able to make a prompt appointment to assess why my house was so hot. Come to find out it was a pretty costly issue. They took the time to explain the issues and provide pictures as proof. A quote was provided quickly. We got a quote from another company that was only 100 dollars cheaper. We decided to go with Go Heating and Cooling because the cost included new nest thermostat and the reviews online were stellar. The reviews were not wrong, we had excellent service and now have an AC that works properly.
After receiving a ridiculously high quote from the HVAC company sent out by our home warranty, my husband wanted a second opinion. Our technician Mike was thorough and honest about what needed repair. Not only was the diagnosis much simpler, so was the price.Mike got the repair done quickly and was very professional. This is the second total system replacement by this company the equipment is top notch and the installers were excellent they left my attic and my house clean each day they were always happy to explain what they were doing and answer any questions. No corners were cut and I will use them again with zero hesitation! Thank You for another job well done.

Boy, oh boy, Go Green came through for us in a big way! It was a cold, cold night in town the weekend before Christmas and late in the evening. They came in within 2 hours of the first call and fixed the heating issues within 30 minutes. The tech, Eddie, was terrific! He communicated everything all along the way. He even helped us submit the claim to home warranty after the fact. I couldn't have asked for a better experience that this. I would always recommend Go Green and Eddie.
We were told by another company that the evaporator coil was going out on our system which is only 5 years old. We wanted a 2nd opinion, so we called Go Green. Eddie confirmed it was in fact the evaporator coil, but the other company had not opened the area where the part was located to actually look at it. They were only guessing. Go Green's price for the repair was also lower so we had them do the work. We would like to thank Eddie for coming out. He did a great job of educating us on how the AC actually works, and made a few suggestions on how to resolve some other issues we have (some rooms not cooling as well as others, etc.) When Eddie came out today with Manny, they did a great job, and actually discovered another leak at the outside unit. We were very pleased overall and will be using them again!

The Go Green team serviced our AC thoroughly and provided some great advice regarding how to maintain the system between check-ups. They also evaluated our home's doors/windows to check for any air leakage. Overall, very helpful and would highly recommend.

Go Green heating and cooling set a repair man, Michael to my house and he did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable, he shared the problem and the solution and the cost upfront as he went along. He was very courteous, careful and neat in his work. I Highly recommend them!!
Incredibly happy with the service here. My A/C stopped working all of a sudden last week and the entire system froze up. I called-in and Alex showed up within a few hours. I was happy that they were able to make it the same-day and were on-time with estimated arrival. Turned out my control board went out on my 21 year old Lennox system. It was too late in the day to get the necessary part so Alex was up the first thing the next morning to pick-up the control board needed for repair and was back out early that afternoon. I had A/C again! Alex set proper expectations given that my system was original to my 20 year old house. I’ll be calling them when it’s time to replace. It’s wishful thinking but I hope it’s a long time from now. Thanks Alex!

Aaron was outstanding. I've had many experiences with several A/C companies in Austin. Frankly, most of the companies are not reputable and look primarily to empty what they can from your wallet. Aaron from Go Green is the exact opposite. Based on my amateur knowledge of A/C systems, he guided me through troubleshooting steps over the phone without even taking my credit card number. Only after is was clear that professional services were required did we make an appointment. When he did perform the visit, he was thoroughly professional with my tenants and resolved the issue quickly. When I have my next A/C issue, there's no question to whom will be my first call. Simply, it was outstanding work.
Go Green installed new conditioners very promptly. The technicians were careful with the floors and walls and cleaned up after themselves very efficiently. We reviewed several companies and Go Green had the best reviews. Their price was very competitive and we opted for a long term servicing contract too
KC came to do the Spring maintenance check this week. Great work, system working better than new, his persistence in essentially reworking the system so the 2 stage compressor worked paid off. Our previous maintenance company for 5 years installed the system for the builder and apparently never wired the 2 stage system properly; hence, we had a new Trane system working at 70% capacity. We complained to the prior maintainer about areas of the house not cooling well in 100 degree heat but he said it was normal temperature differential for all systems. Luckily our previous HVAC company, based in Leander, decided it was too far to drive to Dripping Springs and they referred me to Go Green. Couldn't be happier that we now have a system that works better than ever in the recent Austin 95 degree weather. Highly recommend KC and Go Green. And if you are buying a new house don't recommend you trust the builder's installer to do your maintenance....conflict of interest was evident in our experience.Follow-up: Manny completed the overhaul of our system by installing a new coil and expansion valve. He did a great job, was very polite and personable, took care with explaining what he did, clean up, and was considerate wearing his Go Green Covid mask. Very pleased.Just finished fall tune up and air conditioner capacitor replacement. Re sealed ductwork to help cool Master Bedroom. Still 5 star service. Quick reaction, good quality, and easy to deal with.

I have used Go Green for some years now for my regular check ups for 5 units in two different locations. They have done repair work on a lot of the units and installed a new one last year. Everything went smoothly. I have mostly worked with Eddie . He has always done a good job and explains everything that needs or is recomendable to be done very well . I was totally lost, I had no idea about where to start to buy a new HV/AC unit. I had to replace a very old one that was about to die so I did a search on Google, I looked for local, Austin based, environmentally friendly companies and I decided to contact Go Green. The person who answered the phone when I called the first time was super kind and professional. He told me that Brandon was one of their representatives and that he would meet with me at home; Brandon was very professional and kind, as well, and answered all of my questions. Brandon also talked about the more comprehensive dimension of AC: insulation, which my house needed really bad and I was totally clueless about. After patiently exploring different options and answering all of my questions, he helped me make the best decision and put together a package for me. The new AC unit has been running for a few days and I am in heaven. By the way: before I established contact with Go Green , I actually consulted with another big AC company here in Austin (no names) and it was like night and day, so I decided to hire Go Green. These guys are the best, hands down. We had to replace our HVAC system last year, and they helped us make good decisions and got us into some great technology to help keep our air quality high. Then we had a problem with out new unit, and the owner came out and admitted that a mistake was made and rectified it immediately at their expense. Then months later we noticed that our air wasn't as cool, called and he came right back out on a Sunday. He diagnosed a leak, refilled our coolant at no charge, and scheduled our annual maintenance early so he could come back and fix the leak permanently.Look, things happen. The process wasn't perfect, but because of his impeccable customer service and dedication to getting it right for us I have no problems with it. He has gone above and beyond our expectations, and we are extremely happy to have made the choice to use his business. Highly recommended, would do it again in a heartbeat.

Called because my fairly new AC unit wasn't cooling. A Go Green technician was at my house within 2 hours. It turned out to be just a breaker affected by the storms a few nights ago. The system was fixed and cooling within 10 minutes and there was no charge! Absolutely first rate service!

I have used lots of HVAC service companies over the years (mostly with poor results), but KC Knopp with Go Green was the first technician that got it right the first time. KC was able to explain my issues and make it easy to understand what needed to be done. I did NOT feel like he was just trying to sell me something. He was very professional and did what he said he was going to do. Will definitely use this company again and I will request KC comes back out!

I've replaced my HVAC ducts with this company and I was happy how the work was done and that's why I recommended them to all of my friends.But the last work they did made me unhappy! I asked them to install ducts for my exhaust fans and kitchen hood and to not make it very bad I really really appreciate that they helped me on a short notice. It was my bad that I asked them to do this job as soon as possible.Professionalism.First of all guys just broke recessed light and when I told them about it they just replied sorry.The other thing is that they were connecting my kitchen exhaust and I wasn't happy that someone comes to my house with dirty boots, but I ignored this because I'm fine to vacuum and mop it later, what I couldn't ignore is that he stepped with those dirty shoes on my kitchen countertop. That's not cool at all! You could ask me and I would cover it at least with some sheets!Quality.Isn't it in your best interest to make the work you do with highest possible quality ?!Other company started to connect my kitchen exhaust and didn't really understood how and what should be done and that's why I called Go Green. I thought that they will remove the part that was installed by them or at least review it and make it better.So what wast wrong:1. When kitchen exhaust is turned on a lot of air is leaking right after the fan, because the square to round transition wasn't even screwed into place2. I assumed as least a small amount of tape should be placed to cover big holes, but nothing was done. And exhaust leaked heavily.3. The prev company did a hole in ceiling and glued to drywall from 2 sides the thing called Take Off Start Collar and Gasket which means that in between is a not treated or sealed at least drywall. This means that wet and smelly air from kitchen will be absorbed by the drywall opening and potentially will be covered with mold and will be ruined.Sorry guys, I really think you are a great company and I do really think that you could do better.Thanks.
Go Green recently replaced our 20 year old system. We had been seriously exploring replacement alternatives almost two years, since one of our three compressors started failing. We got bids from 4 companies and seriously considered another company for the job due to their dependable responsiveness to our past repair needs and price. Everything I read during my research indicated that the selection of the system designer/installer was a very important decision when shopping for a new HVAC system - not just the manufacturer of the equipment. We were very impressed with the thoroughness of Go Green's evaluation of our present system and their suggestions for some very cost effective design changes that addressed several of our concerns with our present system. We selected Go Green and have been very pleased with the installation and performance of our new HVAC system. Thanks to Aaron, Eddie and Alex who answered our many questions, patiently explained the system design and equipment alternatives, and provided a smooth installation experience.
Mr. KC is the best technician! We truly felt that he took the time and attention to properly service our HVAC. During this COVID situation, he was extremely mindful about our safety and health even if it meant he stood outside in the heat. Do everything you have to do to keep him Go Green because I'm going to request him every time!!

After getting an estimate for $3,200 and being told he was too scared to clean the evaporator coil , I had go green out. They showed up on time which the other company failed to do , actually opened up my system to look , and told me they could clean it for $935. My mind was blown at the customer service and quality of work , he was here and done within 2 hours. The other company called me back telling me it was a huge job and I really should just let them replace the whole unit. I laughed at them and told them no thank you. Go green has a customer for life and I have my ac back in the hot Texas summer. Thank you

The job took a little longer than they initially thought because of some of the peculiarities of our home, but they withstood the heat and the hiccups like pros. I moved to Texas 4 years ago and have always called Go Green for maintenance or repairs for my AC. Friendly, professional, trustworthy and knowledgeable. Just recently my AC went out in triple digit heat. Go Green came the same day to diagnose the problem, give me several options, and I had new HVAC within 36 hours. The installers were efficient, working in horrendous heat, always friendly And maintaining their professionalism under trying circumstances. Go Green is my go to!
The customer service its amazing, they were super nice, and they made me feel comfortable during the whole process. This kinds of services always make me nervous because I'm clueless on the subject, but they explained and seemed very open and honest all the time.They were also quick to respond, go to my house, called before arriving (extra points), and to work. Not even 3 months after we purchased and installed a new system, the entire system stopped working in the middle of TEXAS SUMMER. We knew what the problem was so we called for some help and they charged us a ridiculous amount just to tell us what we already knew! They didn't even fix it! No consideration for the new system or for covid-19 hardships. I'm so disappointed. I do not recommend this company.

The tech, Manny, called and was able to arrive earlier than planned. He quickly found the problem (a bad capacitor) and resolved it promptly. He was professional and efficient. He was thorough and cleaned the unit before he put it back together. We have used Go Green before and we will use them again.
Alex was great! He was very knowledgeable about air conditioners and was patient enough to answer all my questions while we troubleshooted my AC system. I will definitely use them in the future.

I had a AC that was not cooling on a Sunday. Chris, the technician, called me within 10 minutes and was at the house within 2 hours. He diagnosed the problem and was able to repair the AC within less than an hour. Great service. Will definitely use them again.
Great experience (if having your AC go out on a 100 degree day can be great)!I called Go Green first thing in the morning, they had a technician out the same morning, and were able to identify and fix the problem in less than half an hour. The technician, Aaron, was great too. He explained things clearly and personably. I will definitely call them again if I have any more problems.

Fanastic service!Our new AC system was giving out some kind of funky smell and another AC contractor messed it up by suggesting us to pour some bleach and water in upend PVC which is for HVAC drain. And it has nothing with the funky smell. Oh boy. Few months later, we called another AC service, Go Green— their customer service is quick and straightforward.The technician, KC Knopp, arrived one/two days later as expected.He’s very friendly and being transparent with my questions. After opening up HVAC, we were able to point the source which is the evaporator coil. So he was being honest by offering two solutions; spray or remove it and give it a deep clean. The difference is like $600! So we took cheaper solution. He agreed and went ahead.After a couple of hours, no more funky smell!Will recommend this service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
My technician Bill came and diagnosed my AC problem. He ended up changing the capacitor and recharged refrigerant. I asked him about the capacitor and said that he didn't have the same one I had but he has a better one but costs $100+ more.Later I found out that the capacitor only costs $65 online, I felt like I am being cheated. Then realized that AC is a closed system so if I have a leak then I would need a refrigerant but my AC was up and running for 12 years and this is the first time it was serviced so I doubt I only lost a lbs of R410A refrigerant. I understand you have a business but please don't make us customers like stupid because eventually we will figure it out.So I believe I got cheated. Just be honest, we understand you have a business to run.

Where do I start?? I moved to Austin in May of 2017. Things with my 2007-built home were fine until the heat REALLY hit in late July, when our AC started going out periodically. We called several places on Friday night (after hours) and none were able to make it out to help. Go Green, however, sent someone out at 8pm which was a LIFESAVER since we had a 7 month old at the time. This similar situation happened 3 more times until we finally decided its time to get an entire new system.As much as I loved our experience with GoGreen for the repairs, I wasn’t going to NOT search for the best deal. I had 3 other HVAC companies out to quote, and GoGreen was the most competitively priced!! We’ve had our brand new HVAC system for about 8 months now and couldn’t be happier. Literally zero bad experiences with these guys!!
My AC went out overnight and there was supposed to be a high heat advisory later in the day. In a panic, I called Go Green and they quickly triaged my call, contacted me for more information, and then sent over a wonderful technician, Bill, who arrived promptly, and diagnosed and resolved the problem immediately, clearly explaining all of my options. I just had a 5 star experience with Go Green after finding their company on YELP. Same-day response (within 4 hours of the initial phone call), quick diagnosis, low cost, super personable & knowledgable tech who offered up so much helpful information & future ways to improve our system. After waking up at 3am with no cool air in June (nightmare), this company saved the day and we felt so relieved after their visit. I won't be using anyone else for my future AC/Heating issues!
Had a 14 year old system replaced on the second floor of my house. Brent talked me through my options to make an informed decision. The crew showed up on time the day of the scheduled installation. Soon afterward Brent arrived and made sure the job details were fully understood by his people. The technicians were professional and courteous. Go Green is my go to AC company. Alex was awesome. He called me first thing this morning to tell me he would be my technician today. He gave me an approximate time, since he was driving across the city during rush hour. He arrived 15 minutes sooner than he thought. His introduction was professional & friendly....and enthusiastic about finding the problem with my AC. He checked my thermostat, my furnace, and the outside unit. TL;DR They are technically excellent with a strong focus on service & can always come out promptly.I've been using this company for a few years. I came to them because at the time no one else would work with my connected thermostat. Every time they come out I learn something new about HVACs in general & my setup in particular (even on Sundays). Last time they replaced a major part in my 15 year old unit, they told me that the next part to go would be $$$$ & that type of freon is now illegal to replace. They did not attempt to sell me a new unit on the spot, but estimated a timeline to failure & offered to have their estimator come out bid on a new system.Their sales tactics are consistently low pressure and high attention to my needs. I ended up buying through them. The install process was smooth & easy, and I'm quite pleased with the new unit.
Great experience having Eddie Montalvo out to check on my system. Gave great advice and taught me a few things about HVAC systems I didn’t know. Always professional and considerate, I highly recommend this great company with great employees.
My wife came home to find the AC running flat out, and the temp was 10 degrees above the thermostat. We called Go Green. Nick came out right away and had us cooling down fast! I was impressed with the service, the speed, and the price - even after 5:00!

Our furnace stopped working during the first cold snap here in Austin. Eddie walked us through some potential fixes over the phone, and when those didn't work he was out here first thing the next morning to take a look. He reworked his schedule to make sure he could pick up and install the necessary parts the same day so we could heat the house. We are so appreciative for his helpful attitude and expertise!

We woke up on a Friday morning to no heat on one of the coldest weekends to date. We contacted Go Green and they were out the same day to run diagnostics. It was determined to be a circuit board which they did not have in stock. With it being late on a Friday, all the distributors that they use were closed for the day. The technician was able to find one at another vendor but they weren’t open until Saturday morning. He drove to South Austin then all the way to Round Rock on a Saturday morning to fix our furnace so we wouldn’t have to sit in the cold all weekend! The entire company is to be commended for their prompt response to our need, their courtesy & professionalism and reasonable pricing! Aaron and Rory came by to install 2 Ecobee3 thermostats and perform a health check on my systems. They were efficient and friendly. They got everything setup and explained their operation. They have me good and useful information about my systems. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
GoGreen took care of replacing my entire HVAC system with an awesome American Standard variable speed that also has an AccuClean filter for allergies and I am so impressed with these guys. First of all I have to tell you that I contacted over 7 different companies when our AC went out at 10 pm on a Friday night. GoGreen is the ONLY COMPANY that said they would be at my house around 12 noon the next day to fix the system. They came they fixed and then on Monday Eddie came over to our house at 8 pm to discuss a brand new system.These guys are great!! Had a brand new system the very next Monday!!Thank you guys!!

We called on a Saturday morning after a night of no AC. Two techs from other companies have failed to fix the problem over the past month. Eddie came out within 2 hours, found the leak that the other techs missed, and repaired it. He explained everything to us and was very kind and courteous. He wore shoe covers and left no mess. We've hired several HVAC companies to help us solve the issues and we've always been disappointed with the results.Eddie from Go Green has been, by far, the best we've worked with. He took time to troubleshoot our system throughly and to help us understand why our A/C had frozen over. We'll hire Go Green and ask for Eddie when is time to replace our system next year.
From sales to the installers, Go Green are very professional and accommodated everything I asked of them. They had some very good recommendations and a clever solution on routing the lines. I'm very satisfied with the new systems and how everything looks. Thanks

I just had a consult with Eddie for a vent problem and he was so honest and forthcoming about what the issue was, what they could do to help --and what might make sense for our plans for the house, that he even mentioned a few options that we could do ourselves. I hugely appreciate his honesty and commitmment to helping us find the right level of work to do, even if it meant we might not do the work with him.
Go Green was great - see ya later big chain companies (I'm lookin' at you Strand Bros). Eddie Montalvo was my service technician - he called me within a half hour of me speaking with the dispatcher and then was at my house a half hour after that, and on a Sunday as well! The fix needed on my non- working AC was so dumb (a power switch had gotten turned off during other service 2 days earlier from Strand) that he didn't even charge me. That's pretty darn refreshing. I'm going green from here on out!

Since Go Green was bought out by Champion AC everything form the quality of the work, the staff etc. has gone down. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
Great company and techs. always satisfied with their service. He was here right on time and did a quick and great job.

Our AC went out at the perfect time, as temperatures cooled in Central Texas. The quick fix was a $2800 coil and $900 worth of refrigerant that is no longer produced. This shocked and horrified us. Aaron was the perfect representative of ANY company I've ever dealt with while feeling these emotions. When we as a family learned of the multi-year no-interest financing Go Green offers for system overhauls we were sold. The new system is installed and is silent: To the point where when I first saw on my phone that it was on (the app is awesome) I had to run outside to see if my new Trane was running. It was purring! And reducing humidity. Our old system was a Trane, but 23 years old. Won't hesitate a second to call these guys in 23 years.

We have had all sorts of trouble for years with the ACs here at the store. After several different people we finally called Go Green. I wish we had used them from the start. They were efficient, courteous, and best of all they were able to find the problem and fix it rather than the years of band aids we had previously had. I wish the scale went above 5 stars that is how good they are.
My AC was intermittently blowing warm air for longer times than it was blowing cold air. I had Go Green come out and they quickly determined that the pressure on the system was too high. It was great that they could show up in less than an hour on a weekend when the temperatures were approaching a hundred degrees.

Robert came to my house and took a look at my vents and duct system as I explained my allergies were especially bad after using my heater for the first time this year. I explained that I was highly allergic to mold and dust mites. He looked in my attic and opened the closet where the air unit is kept. He removed my filter and showed me an area that was pretty dusty and explained how I could access it to get it cleaner. I haven't cleaned that spot since I bought the house new 9 years ago. He said there was not much of a chance for mold growth as all my ducts were properly sealed. He recommended I clean around the filter a little better as well as the spot below the filter and showed me an intake vent that I could easily remove and clean.When I asked him how much I owed for his coming out and looking things over he said I didn't owe anything. I'm a licensed irrigator and I don't even go to inspect a house for free! This company rocks!
Extremely friendly customer service. The technician explained everything thoroughly and they came out and had the AC repaired and back on by 1:00 p.m. after it stuffed working in the night. Highly recommend!

Read the reviews and overall 5 stars, called Go Green and the receptionist was great and friendly. They set up my appointment to come take a look at both my units and I was told that one of them would only need to be replaced due to a MAJOR leak. I was told that I my refrigerant was empty and that I would need a whole new unit because other repairs would be too costly and would only make sense to get a new unit. $6,500-8K is the quote. To the contrary after calling another company they came by on a Saturday to ask how the Go Green technician could determine the unit was out since there was an electrical component that was nonfunctional. After they repaired the $25 part they were able to tell me I had over half refrigerant still in the system and wasn't sure why I was told it was completely empty, OH YEAH the electrical part was replaced for a professional diagnosis. Needless to say, instead of $8K we have been up and running for weeks now for less than $500. Go Green only wants to sell, sell, sell new units rather than assist their clients. So much for taking reviews into consideration, just a sneaky sales tactic. Be cautious unless you have extra $$ to just buy new units vs repair.
My wife called Alex Gotay while I crawled through a sweltering attic to siphon water from the pan below my AC coil. Some debris from a previous repair had blocked the drain line and the float switch had cut off the system to prevent water damage. It was 85 degrees in my house and Alex had 5 emergency service calls to complete before mine.But that didn't stop him from fixing the problem. After I explained the situation, he gave me a solution to try: disconnect the drain line and use a shop vac to clear it. It worked! Thanks again Alex!Update — August 24, 2018Go Green has fixed a water leak that my old HVAC company introduced, and it's a HUGE load off my mind to not worry about this anymore. (I was going to write another review, but my only option seems to be to edit this one.)After my old HVAC company installed a new coil, drops of condensation began blowing from the coil into the ductwork and then dripping into my attic. We didn't discover this issue until the summer, when water began dripping through the ceiling in my son's bedroom!The old company blamed me, saying that I should have had them come out to look at the system before the summer started, and they refused to cover any of my costs to repair the ceiling.I hired Go Green to look at the issue. They didn't fix it on the first attempt, but on their second visit (free of charge), they tried reducing the speed of the blower which has resolved the issue! It's an immense load off my mind to not have to worry about this water leak anymore, and Go Green is definitely my go-to HVAC company. Thank you Go Green!

My AC went out the night before. I called in the morning and they worked us into their schedule. They diagnosed the problem, followed up on the next client, picked up the parts and got us up and running before the end of the day. Alex was hard working, honest, and diligent.

We called after hours on a SUNDAY. I was surprised that someone answered. It was an answering service, but they forwarded our A/C repair request immediately to Go Green.Aaron called us back within a minute and explained their after hours service call fee. For only $55 more than a standard service call, Aaron came out Sunday night around 8 p.m and had us fixed by 9 p.m.A $55 premium was less than a decent hotel room, and made the whole family happy. Absolutely amazing customer service. Our AC wasn't working over the weekend and it was August in Texas, so crazy hot. Eddie came over and went above and beyond. I will absolutely use this company again in the future when it comes to any and all my AC maintenance/repair needs.

Showed up within 12 hours of my call (after hours) and Bill did the job right. Tested other aspects of the AC system and provided additional preventative suggestions. Very up front and honest service technicians.
KC is the absolute best and the reason I went with Go Green. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had me up and running within the hour. I picked Go Green over multiple companies and am not disappointed at all.
On short notice, I received a comprehensive quote for a replacement residential heat pump from Eddie M at GoGreen Energy. The office was short-staffed because of the flu too. Eddie addressed all my concerns and had a quote back to me the same day. He knows his stuff.

After literally kicking another well known AC company out of my home for doing nothing more then trying to sell me new AC's Go Green stepped in and literally blew me away with how good they were. Anything HVAC related, you need to go call these guys first!When hiring a contractor to do work, I always look for three main things, in this order.. communication, skill set and price.They exceeded my expectations on all of these and more!The company is super professional from beginning to end!
They gave plenty of prior notice. Came earlier than they said they might be able to, which was great because in this terrible heat, the sooner the AC repair can happen, the better! They were fast and courteous. Professional. And the experience was entirely positive.

Had an A/C Drainage issue which stopped our system form working - leading into the hottest day of the year so far (into the 100's). Called at 8pm, left a message, and our guy KC arrived by 9am. Other companies never even responded to calls! Fixed the problem fast and for a good price. What more can you ask for.

Bill was very professional and and all my questions.
Long story short, bad install of a capacitor by ABC, minor brown out in our area, AC started blowing warm air. I couldn't have that with 2 adults and 2 little dogs. Nick was thorough, explained everything, and now we are enjoying a nice cool evening! They came out within an HOUR! Switching over!
