tl;dr: great work, good prices, versatile - highly recommendedWe had a leak in our garage and water in our water heater pan. Unfortunately they were not related, it turns out we had a leak in our laundry pipes and our 18-year old water heater was giving up the ghost.We called our regular plumber but he was unavailable, so we called the references he gave us as well as some companies off Yelp like Thunderbird plumbing. Ted from Thunderbird seemed the most knowledgeable and trustworthy (according to Hope, who used to work with a lot of subs as an architect and a construction project manager), and surprisingly enough also had the cheapest estimate. (Some plumbers wouldn’t even do all the work we wanted, like installing a pressure relief valve).A few days later Ted came to do all the work, and it seems to be done really well. He even replaced our main water shutoff valve without charging us more than his original estimate.All in all, a great experience, well worth a 5-star rating.

I have been using this company for several years for my business and my home and every time they exceed my expectations with knowledge and great customer service. They really seem to appreciate my business and know when an emergency plumber is needed for my busy water-reliant business. One positive for this company is their plumber was very nice! When I called, I described my situation about a leak in my house, the City detected from their computers. I explained to Moore that I had checked all the obvious places: The grounds outside, toilets, spouts, listening for any running water whatsoever. That was the reason I was calling, because I couldn't see or hear any water.They ended up charging me $89 for a look check, which I had already done and explained that again to the plumber. He inspected outside, as I already had done, and suggested I call back when the ground was not wet from the rains. He did not perform any kind of water pressure test. He just gave me his opinion which was to wait for the ground to dry out after the rains we had.I had the presence of mind to call another plumbing company who came out the very same day and performed all kinds of water testing and found the water leak under the foundation.

Great service, honest, they are not part of some big organization and don't get kickbacks from particular brands so they do t try and push product on you, they do what you ask and let you know if there are any other problems. They always clear additional work with you BEFORE continuing.

The technician diagnosed my AC problem -- a bad motor -- and replaced the motor swiftly and smoothly. He was professional, polite and friendly and made the whole operation as painless as possible.

I am very glad I used Aloha Plumbing for the installation of our new water heater. Unlike the two other companies I inquired with, Jerred provided a straightforward estimate over the phone. Although his estimate was (significantly) lower than the other two companies, the real reasons I chose Aloha were that I knew I would be working directly with a master plumber and I got the feeling I would be receiving excellent customer service. Jerred told me where I could buy a descaling kit for maintenance of the water heater and Brendan (who did the installation) patiently walked me through how to use it. They even took video of the descaling process to post on their youtube channel so other customers with the same model of water heater could refer to it in the future. I ended up installing a new water softener as well which was an equally straightforward process. I feel confident that I now have expertly-installed equipment as well as a responsive and professional company to address any questions or issues I might have in the future.

Price was higher than what other plumbers in the area have charged us. They also tried to upsell on a new garbage disposal but couldn’t really provide a reason why. I haven’t used them since.
