When Darius and Jake arrived, I was standing on the ledge with my razor blades in hand about to jump. They talked me off the ledge and told me to put down the razor blades and step away from the ledge, everything was going to be all right. I had been up till 11:00 the night before cleaning up a flooded bathroom. I had seen S&D Plumbing in my neighborhood doing big jobs of replacing cast iron pipes and those that used them seemed happy with the results. I was on the phone at 7:00 am booking an appointment. From the time that they arrived till they left it was a pleasure. They were professional and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problems and will be working with my insurance company to rectify the long term solution. They fixed the immediate issue and diagnosed the cause of the issue that will take replacing my cast iron pipes. I feel totally confident going forward with the necessary solutions. I have not had good experience with plumbers in the past and are always skeptical of plumbers. I always feel that they want to do more than is really necessary. Not with these guys. They just wanted to diagnose and give me what was necessary.

They helped us adjust the water temperature in our shower/tub, unclogged pipes so the kitchen sink drains faster and diagnosed a hole in our pipes/found old piping that needs to be replaced.

Called on an emergency situation and Mack was there within 20 mins, explained the problem, gave me a quote, and proceeded to take care of the problem! The front office was efficient and even called me back to see if I needed water extraction - thorough!! Will definitely call them again

Exceptional is a good way to describe Mr. Rooter. Their service is exceptionally good, their plumbers are exceptionally prompt everywhere in Austin, their rates are exceptionally fair... these guys are simply exceptional in every regard.

Moore and More Plumbing was called out yesterday to provide estimate for replacing flange at toilet connection and very politely proposed a ridiculously aggressive estimate of $968. When told that the estimate was out of line for a 1.5 hour service with virtually no materials involved, they promptly lowered the estimate by $200. When told that the lowered estimate was still considerably more than their competitors charge for the same service, their plumber became indignant and stated that he would not accept criticism. Okay. The job was performed excellently by another company this morning for $477. I would never call this company again, nor would I ever refer them to anyone. Well worth the $89 service call fee simply to know how this company seeks to do business.

Had water start coming up in my carpet and called Al Mac to take a look at things. He was able to work over the weekend on short notice and fix our old, leaky pipes. We appreciated his quick turnaround and quality work!

John came over and gave us a reasonable estimate for the repair of our leaking tub faucet. He also noticed the toilet needed replacing and gave us a separate estimate for that service. He provided the repairs needed for today easily and quickly, then was on his way. I appreciated his honesty.

I scheduled an appointment and waited all afternoon, said tech was on the way, then called to say they do not work on 3 story units.
Well, they did in the past, so I will not bother to call again. Strand would have worked here but since the merger service has deteriorated. Good bye and con someone else.

My A/C stopped working yesterday. Gave Fox a call and they had someone out to diagnose the problem the same day. After a quick warranty check and parts order, they were out today to get it fixed. Thanks Darren! Great job.
