Slow to respond, three weeks to quote

With our 18 year old system failing, we called Radiant. They sent John that same day to inspect our system. Once it was determined we needed to replace, Drew came out & explained our options & financing. Then Nestor and Andrew arrived on time on a Saturday to do the install. They treated our house as if it was their own. Very polite and professional men. After the installation Nestor went over the new thermostat & helped to set it up with an app on my phone. He explained everything we needed to know about our new HVAC system. We are very, very happy we chose Radiant to do this work.

Plumber was out very quickly to look at leak; charged $350 for the dig job to identify the leak but left with the wrong assessment. Had to bring out other plumber the day after.

Fantastic experience with A&T. Had a leak that was so bad that Austin Water contacted me due to excessive water usage. Called A&T at 2pm, they had it done, yes done by 6 pm. Great work. Everyone was friendly with a sense of urgency. Corbin and Corbin, Associates, as I came to call them, explained everything as it was progressing, and made sure to get a quote before starting any major work. They did come out quickly to help with a smell of gas in our new home, but we’re not able to fix it as it was an appliance and not the pipe. The owner was very kind and did give a generous refund of a portion of the charge for services. Thank you!

There was a bit of confusion the morning of my appointment and Johnny Rooter was not able to come at the time that was scheduled on the previous day, and they made the extra effort to come out the same day after hours to rectify the issue. Not only was the issue resolved, but they made no hesitation to assume responsibility. Things happen, and they did what needed to be done. Can’t ask for anything more from a service company!

The valve to the refrigerator ice maker had a leak that needed immediate repair. I called Santana Plumbing Company after hours and I was quickly given an ETA for a diagnostic estimate and repairs. The ice maker box with quarter turn brass valve and the hammer arrester were replaced within minutes. Jaime had all of the required equipment and tools needed. I was extremely impressed with the responsiveness, professionalism, punctuality, quality and very reasonable fees. My water heater was leaking. I received bids from two plumbers who insisted the unit had to be replaced and gave bids of between $1,000 and $1,750 for just labor costs (the new water heater being a separate cost) because of the unusual configuration of the unit, space constraints, location of water filter, etc.I refused to accept those outlandish prices. I contacted the manufacturer and was sold a replacement component intending to repair the water heater myself. But, then I was stuck because my water shut-off didn’t completely turn off the water. Enter more plumbers who were telling me the only solution is to shut off water to the entire condominium building. They said that process would take several hours (on the clock the whole time). The fact that the water shut-off wasn’t operational also would have increased the original bids significantly as those bids assumed the water shut-off was functioning properly.After two weeks of a broken and dripping water heater, I contacted Al Mac who offered to come out and look at the situation. Instead of just giving me an estimate and scheduling a later date to repair the problem, he offered to fix it right then. For a couple hundred bucks, he engaged a temporary fix with my water shut-off, replaced the broken component with the part I purchased, and had the water heater totally fixed and working within an hour!!!It took him 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and explain how he could fix the unit, all at a fraction of the cost of other plumbers.I greatly appreciated his integrity to tell me what was actually needed, his willingness to use parts I had already acquired, and to repair the water heater (versus replacing it), saving me literally thousands of dollars and unnecessary work.He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and even vacuumed the area when the work was done, leaving my space cleaner than before he arrived to do work. The total bill was EXACTLY what he said it would be.I cannot recommend his services more!!
