Best Residential Water in Jacksonville FL

I was without water for 3 days Bcz a root crushed a pipe and rather than keep spilling 7500 gallons a day (per JEA) I had them shut it off. I was also recovering from knee replacement surgery!! First plumber was a no show. Called Darley’s - they arrived early - very professional and friendly and affordable and kept me apprised of the situation. Also when I posted in FB instantly three of my friends from different walks of life had been previously bowled over by their service!! Darley’s has a customer for life (but hopefully not too soon!). From Pam scheduling to Eric and Joey fixing the problem, it was incredible.

The job was done well. However, it was too expensive for the task at hand. Unfortunately, due to the size of the fee for the assessment, we had to go through with the service. This was a good lesson to get a ballpark estimate before requesting an assessment.

I needed a new water heater and Turner came recommended by a friend. So glad I called them! They were prompt, professional, and priced fairly. I will definitely call them for any other plumbing issues I might have.

They came out to give me a price for re-doing my shower. The guy looks the job over and says it will be $3000. We talked a bit and then, on his way out he says: I'll get a written quote to you for $3500. Price went up $500 in 5 minutes. Then to top it off, even after bugging him twice via text, I never received a written quote. Pitiful.

The worse customer service. I tried to call them multiple times for them to give me an estimate about a work that needed done. They keep hanging up the phone. And when I tried to called them back they didn't answer the phone.

UPDATE 7/20:Duck Duck Rooter came out yesterday and quickly discovered that our septic pump was not pumping because the float switch was broken. They replaced the pump and now the septic system is working well.The tech and I examined the drain field and found the blow outs. They were dry and apparently had not blown for awhile. The tech told me they were caused by roots from trees on the neighboring property. I cut the roots away from the mound and will find a way to keep them from infiltrating in the future.Before they left they covered the septic tank and the dosing tank with dirt and spread grass seed.I appreciate that the owners took my original review here seriously and took the necessary steps to rectify the situation. They have also apologized for what the original pumping tech told me and have said that they've now talked to their pumpers about this.UPDATE 7/17:One of the owners did reach out to me and did a much better job of explaining what might be happening. He wants to send someone out to take a closer look so he can give me a more definitive explanation. He also apologized for not recovering the tank lid with dirt/sod and said he will send someone out to take care of that.I'll keep updating this review as things progress.ORIGINAL POST:They pumped out our septic tank last week. The tech on site called me to say the septic system had major problems. One of the problems, he said, was that the septic tank was never connected to the dosing tank, which I know for a fact is wrong because I was there when the dosing tank was installed. Also, this system has been working as is for over 10 years and I've had other companies pump the tank several times during those 10 years; none of those other companies mentioned any problems. He also said that the drain field had a blow out. How can the drain field be blowing out if it's not connected to the septic tank?, I asked. He couldn't answer that. He said he'd have someone from their company call me and set up an on site evaluation.This week I called them to find out if someone could explain to me what the tech was talking about. They just read the tech's notes to me and arranged for an on site evaluation. We discussed the scheduling of the evaluation over several phone calls, but it wasn't until yesterday that someone told me the evaluation was going to cost $625. Had they mentioned this sooner we wouldn't have needed to have several phone calls to schedule the evaluation, I would have given up on them much sooner.Finally, the tech who did the pumping did not recover the tank lid with dirt/sod when he was done; every other company that pumped the tank always put it back the way they found it.

We get the job done right

We chose Lettow Plumbing to complete a whole home re-pipe for us. We also had our hot water heater location changed, had whole home filters installed and had a bathroom renovation completed by Lettow Plumbing during/after the re-pipe. We were very pleased with the work! Chris and his staff are very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I appreciated the time that Chris took upon the initial consultation/estimate visit to thoroughly walk through our home and begin to problem solve some unique issues that we had. From that initial visit to the final walk through visit that he did, everyone took the time to listen and respond to questions and to explain daily progress. We look forward to calling upon Lettow Plumbing in the future should there be a need and highly recommend the company to others!

James and the other young man that came to fix the clogged main line were great. They worked hard to remedy the problem and fixed it efficiently. Much appreciate them working in the rain and not one complaint. Will definitely recommend this company again.

I called David for an estimate on a cast iron drain replacement and he came out the next morning. The next day the work was done in 3 1/2 hours on the low side of his estimate. This guy is good.He was prompt, courteous, and he even swept up the floor afterwards. The interaction of the guys there was respectful and professional. It is obvious that David and his guys practice what they claim on their website. These are not just words to these men, they are a class example for the trade and one to be emulated. Need a plumber, call THEM.

Don't even call this company. only thing they care is your money. They charge for running their snake machine 1time over $500. it's ridiculous I have been dealing with other plumbers several time before average price were below $300. They don't give price on the phone. never call them.

We recently used McKendree's Plumbing during our (unplanned) renovation. The employees who came out were so understanding to all of the moving parts, so patient and thorough with all of the fine details. I appreciate all they did in helping to complete the job.
