Called about what I thought was a need to replace my water heater and scheduled an appointment to install a new heater I had purchased. When the technicians arrived and I described what was happening they suggested it may just be a faulty bottom heating element. Sure enough that is just what it was. They saved me over $350 by diagnosing and then fixing my problem.Jim Smith and his assistant Jordan were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. I could not have asked for better service.

Timely on most work. However asked them to replace sprayer on kitchen sink as part of job. No problem with that mentioned when setting up appointment. Tech then said “they don’t sell sprayers separately... you will need to buy whole faucet setup and then call us back to install” and didn’t do as part of work. Was at Ace, and they do sell new sprayers separately.... I feel a bit mislead by Haley the tech. At least some of the work got done but don’t understand the sprayer not getting done.

Tech named Sean came out on Saturday and cleared my drains. Efficient and effective work. Nice young man, excellent work!

Pumped out septic tank. Was very cautious of my property.

The first 2 nice honest guys came out and said I should not change water heater untill I get the water pressure in house fixed,my water pressure is very low...or new water heater could burn out not getting enough water fast enough, they admitted they were not plumbers. So later that day your plumber stopped by, checked a few things out, tried to find where water comes in house, went out to my well and said do you hear that noise ? You have a problem with well and said he had to charge me 59$.I called my well guy 150$ service fee, checked everything said no problem with well, it's a plumbing problem possibly hot water pipe on hot water heater must be clogged,must be sediment in tank , that a plumber knows how to fix that. So far im out 209$ and still don't know problem. I'm a senior citizen living off Social Security. I Called another plumber company and they said 1200$ to replace tank and 120$ per hour to clean out or replace pipes... this is my review...

After a big name plumber refused to give me an estimate for a toilet replacement, I looked up a local plumber. He gave multiple scenarios and cost ideas. Arrived 10 minutes early, knocked the job out quickly, and over-delivered on his estimate. Absolutely amazing experience!

I have been dealing with A1 plumbing for greater than 30 years; initially in New Jersey and since 2008 here in the Jacksonville Florida area. They have never let me down.

Was overcharged for the time they spend to do my plumbing work, while I provided everything, sink, faucets etc for all bathrooms and kitchen, they came unprepared, had to run out on my dime to get supplies to do the job. They worked 4.5 hours to the tune of $95.00 but I was charged $650.00. I am a Senior on a limited income and was overcharged over $220.00, shame on them. Wrote a letter to the owner, will see what comes of it. That is just outrageous and highway robbery. Cannot recommend them and will not hire them, even my church members recommended them, I will let everyone know what they did to me. Reported to the BBB, no answer from owner

I cannot begin to say all the good things about this plumber. First of all they are honest and know what they are doing. I used them for a repipe and installation of a water heater and it was literally a life saver. I had an old pipe in the kitchen that was right above my electrical box for my dishwasher and it was about to go. They fixed it and moved the new pipe to a much safer location. Also, my pipes in my shower literally crumbled as they were replacing them. They got all the crumbing old pipes out and replaced them perfectly. I didn’t realize how much of a mess my plumbing was in my house, but they got it fixed and working correctly. The best thing I ever did was to hire this plumbing company and I will be using them in the future for sure.

The day after Thanksgiving we discovered our outdoor irrigation system sprang a leak and was gushing water. We called Crabtree and left a message; they called us back within 30 minutes and there guy was here less than an hour later. He explained the problem and quickly got it repaired. Will definitely use Crabtree from now on! Greatly appreciated their quick response, honesty, and professionalism.
