I emailed explaining exactly what I wanted installed which was a Hybrid water heater. They gave me a quote and we accepted. When they came and installed they told my wife it was $100 more because it was a Hybrid. They admitted it was overlooked on their part. Don't know how they did. It was not my mistake. Now they won't reimburse and ignore my emails. I will never do business with this company again!!

I needed help with plumbing issues toady and they came right out! Once on site they realized I didn't need certain services anticipated and actually told me the truth and reduced my initial quote by $200! The guys were very professional and provided me with all the information I needed for the situation. I will definitely call them for all my plumbing needs! Well deserved 5 stars, not many companies out there like this anymore.

THE 5 STARS ARE FOR A-1 PLUMBING TECHNICIAN, DAVIAN ONLY!!I am writing this review because I want to warn propective customers that this company is not transparent with their pricing and do not disclose their basic prices to customers.As a result, I was caught off guard by a $254.00 charge, after the technician arrived at my home.I purchased a new stove and called TECO People's Gas, the provider of gas to my home. People's Gas recommended A-1 Plumbing. I called A-1 and was advised of a nonrefundable $79 dispatch fee. I asked the representative what would be the average charge for basic gas stove hookup. I was told their company policy prohibited this information from being related yo customers. I should have called another company. However, I decided on A-1 Plumbing assuming it should not cost more than $50-$75 for the hookup. The A-1 technician came out, took a picture of the connection, called the company, and was told to charge would be $175.00 for the hookup. Dispath fee $75 plus Hook up fee $175 = $254.00. There was no additional equipment or parts required. I called A-1 thinking the charge was an error. Spoke with Robbie, who said he was a manager. Robbie stated the $175 charge was the standard charge. I asked why wasn't I told the charge when I asked for it during my initial call. He reiterated the company's policy of not disclosing their pricing to customers.I told Robbie I thought the Company charge was exorbitant, their pricing misleading and I would give the company a less than positive review. Shortly, after, I received a call from Amber, stating the $79 dispatch fee would be waived. One positive for the company is Davian, the tecnician. Davian called before his arrival, arrived on time, was professional, courteous, and technically proficient. He tested for leaks around gas connection, insured the stove was balanced, and both stove burners and oven were correctly lighted and worked properly.Finally, although I appreciated the dispatch fee waiver, the fact remains that A-1 Plumbing's charged of $175 for a basic gas stove hookup was exhorbitant and bord er s on price gauging, they are not transparent with their pricing, and do not disclose to the customer their basic gas stove installation pricing. Beware of this company.!!! I will not use them ever again.

The plumber that came out was Nice ,.. I was told they were coming out the same day(Monday) they came the following day. My problem had started since Saturday ,. So I was frustrated by then.

The company was quick to send someone out, both gentlman were respectful, worked clean, and completed the fix quickly.

Had an installer come out last week for an estimate. Was told to expect Terri to email a proposal the following day. Waited several days before calling. The lady fielding the calls didn’t/doesn’t really seem to care and would only pass me to his VM. Called again this morning and the same happened. This company came on recommendation and the installer was clean and professional. Terri on the other hand is either and poor excuse of a “plumbing manager” or has more work than he can handle. Could be my project isn’t worth his time but if this was the case they knew in advance what we needed prior to sending a man...why did they bother. I suspect the other review was on point as to project size so I wouldn’t bother calling them for anything less than a HUGE project

They completed the installation in less than a day, and without any incidents.Griffin would be a great paradigm for any Small Business.

Siam Young was my installer. However he was not listed as an employee to leave a review on. Unfair from an employee perspective. The guy was awesome. Professional, communicative, and very friendly. If I ever need anything done again, he’ll be the one I request.

On a very busy day with high heat, Ryan showed up much earlier than I had hoped for. He quickly repaired my A/C system and showed great professionalism. he was also friendly and very helpful when he assisted me with setting up alerts on my Honeywell thermostat system. I was very satisfied with every aspect of this repair call.

I went days trying to get a water leak found and fixed using two other plumbing companies. I called Amelia Plumbing and by the end of the day had the problem located and patched and the next day the permanent fix was completed. Very professional, very fair pricing.

They are the absolue worst at appointments. They do not offer a time frame instead they say go about your day and we will call when we're on our way. That just does not work for me. Also, when you do have a day scheduled they may or may NOT show up at all.. so not very reliable. We will be looking for a different HVAC company.

Our toilet broke and would not flush. Best Jacksonville Plumbers helped us with it, and they were cheap compared to the other plumbers. Will use them again if we have another plumbing issue.

I just had Farrell's Mechanical install a natural gas tankless water heater and gas stove. When I first started the process of getting gas appliances I called several of the contractors that supposedly honored the Teco water heater program. Several of the contractors came out to give me an estimate only to find out they wouldn't honor the Teco program...even though it was one their own websites. I called Farrell's Mechanical...they came out and gave me an estimate that was a lot cheaper than the big companies. He honored the Teco program and he worked very well with Teco. Once Teco installed the gas meter, Farrell called me to schedule the installation. He was on time for the appointment and started work right away. By early afternoon I had hot water and a new stove installed at the exact price he quoted me. He provided an electrician to do the electrical work and properly ground the gas line to protect my house. Everything was done in a very professional manner. He hauled off the old water heater and cleaned up any mess. I save a lot of money by using Farrell's...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FARRELL'S MECHANICAL!!! They did an awesome job for a reasonable price.

I called Benjamin Franklin to get a quote on how much it would cost to have them come and fix a busted pipe that had partially flooded my house. After talking with the receptionist my husband told me not to call a plumber so I did not book them. About 20 minuets after I received a phone call from Hosea who was very nice and went above and beyond to help me. At the time he called I was struggling to figure out what supplies I needed to get. I told him that my husband wanted to fix it and he was supportive and listed to what was going on. He did not just hang up the phone and go on with his day, he walked me through everything I needed to get and took about a half an hour to help me find the supplies. If you need a plumber look no further!!
