Called Griffin Service @ 8am on Friday due to lightning strike taking out my water heater and Steve showed up an hour later. They truly made me feel like they cared in regards to my family being without hot water especially over the weekend. Steve was amazing. He definitely arrived much sooner than I anticipated. He was also very professional, very knowledgeable, explained very clearly what he was doing and very clean. I absolutely recommend Griffin Service for all of your water heater and air conditioning needs!!!!

Oh my goodness ! What a Pleasant Happy experience getting a split system heat pump installed by Griffin Services !! 1 day to set install and one day to complete ! Who does that , Griffin Services ! WOW and AMAZING- Tracy exceeded expectations and helped us with an emergency plumbing repair. We had another plumber who broke a pipe trying to install a dishwasher. He was unable to repair pipe as he broke it behind the wall. Meaning all water had to be turned off to the house. Griffin Services not only assured me they could be out today, then repair tech called within 10 minutes to let me know she was on her way. Tracy was professional, knowledgeable, and a master at her trade. She was thorough and took care in making sure she fixed the problem with the plumbing and hooked up the dishwasher for us. She even had to leave to buy parts needed to install the dishwasher properly. Her work ethic was astounding. Tracy, thank you again for making our bad experience better! This is my third time using Griffin Services and we’ve always had a very good experience with their service technicians and installers. Great reliable company, worth every penny! Wish I called you initially I didn’t realize you installed appliances, as this would have saved me a big headache today and money. But you definitely saved the day!!!

I highly recommend Griffin Service for a water tank installation. Griffin's office was very responsive about scheduling and the next business day their technician Dustin arrived promptly for an on site inspection. He discussed 3 options/levels of service and provided detailed descriptions with quotes through an online system. Immediately after accepting an installation option a scheduler called to book me at my nearest convenience. I received email/text confirmations and a call from Dustin prior to his arrival. Dustin was courteous and professional. His work was thorough and he added several upgrades to the plumbing valves and mounting brackets. He clearly cared about the quality of his work and my satisfaction.

James Bowers came on time and did a really fine installation. He explained the operation, removed the old unit and did a really neat plumbing job for my tub in the garage. Thanks James.

Starting off our New Years our water heater went out. Griffin was able to quickly schedule us and sent out Gerald. Gerald, went above and beyond and truly epitomized the Griffin motto of Legendary Service. Not only was he able to quickly diagnose the issues with our water heater, he explained the cause, the severity of the issue, and provided multiple options to remedy the situation. When I needed further assistance later on in the day, he was still available and responded even on his own time. Gerald truly went beyond the call of duty. Highly recommended! Thank you very much!

The team at Griffin was the first to respond to my request. Everyone I encountered was kind, friendly and efficient. James was the technician that came to assess my shower drain repair and gave me a fast and fair estimate. He was honest with what will need to be done and they (he and Justin) were able to come the next day and get the work done. I’m satisfied with their services top to bottom and am grateful that they were willing to crawl under my historic house and make my renovation possible.

We had an old sink that fell through and needed to be replaced. Griffin service were responsive and got someone out to me the next day. Gerald was very nice and genuine. He was very informative on what needed to done. He was very meticulous in his work. The sink was perfectly installed and the plumbing underneath the sink was much more organized than before. Needless to say, I will definitely be using Griffin Service for any future work.

I highly recommend this company, especially Dustin!! He was so thorough and explained all our options on replacing our homes two water heaters. I got a few quotes from other companies and no one else mentioned that we would have to replace our 65 gallon tanks with 55 gallon ones. He added boosters to our tank to keep our hot water capacity similar to what we are already used to. Installation went great! Dustin was extremely professional, quick, and clean. He took the time to teach me how everything worked. Cannot recommend this company and Dustin enough!

Matthew and his assistant from Griffin Service did a fantastic job installing my new hot water heater. They were professional and courteous. Matthew thoroughly explained everything he installed and asked if he could help with anything else. They always knocked before entering my house, wore booties so as to not track in dirt and cleaned everything up when they were done. Besides the new water heater I couldn't even tell they had been there! I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to others.

We were very impressed with the service received … we have concerns about a hook-up for a natural gas fire pit on our lanai. Dustin, a licensed gas plumber was scheduled to come the day after I called. He was knowledgeable and very professional. He developed a solution for us and will assist with the installation when the new fire pit is delivered. He also offered to talk to the contractor to facilitate the installation even more. Great service!

I did a better job installing the one Griffin removed.Didn't provide a bill. Didn't wipe down the floor prior to installation. Didn't install flanges around the pipes. Didn't get the mat square below the water heater. Didn't plug the drain line for the hybrid unit they removed, creating air conditioning problems. Left trash behind the water heater. Not impressed. Installation did not live up to the commercials I've been listening to.For $1632.50 installed for a knock-off Rheem, I was expecting more.So, Griffin came back to correct some of the things that I was not happy about.I still do not have a bill. They halfway tipped down the floor around the hot water heater (24x28). They removed the trash they left behind the water heater. I plugged the drain line for the hybrid unit, I didn't want the A/C flooding my house. They installed the flanges and some insulation around the pipes. Then, they installed a drain pan below the hot water heater even though my wife went to great lengths to let them know that we did not want a drain pan. The installer made my wife very uncomfortable about insisting that we do not want the drain pan.Let me be clear!! I don't want a drain pan under my hot water heater. If it leaks, I will know immediately, and it cannot hurt the garage floor.Employees from Griffin will not be allowed back on our property, unless I am home. It's obvious that they are not very professional, and show little respect for customer requests.I am adding pics of the things they did ringlet and wrong.

Excellent service to fix a broken pipe out in the yard. The quick response time allowed our emergency to last for only a minimal amount of time. Would absolutely recommend using the service and the technician Gerald Howell who conducted the repair was amazing and very respectful to our situation, clearly explaining everything that had happened and what he was going to do. Extremely happy with the work!

I used Angie's List to get a quote from Griffin Service today at 8:20 am. I was contacted by Griffin at 8:25 am. Melissa was very friendly and professional on the phone. The technician, Gerald Howell, showed up about 9:25am. He was very professional,friendly, and does awesome work! He left the work area cleaner then he found it! He replaced my bad hot water heater with a new one and was finished by 1:35pm! I didn't expect to have it done today. What a great surprise! Especially since I had plans for the next 2 days and I travel for work.

Very very professional. Jimmy did a great job he even showed me how and what was going on with my drainage. He was very friendly and I definitely love the price. He was on time and he saved the day. David came at 8:15 AM and was here for about 1 1/2 hours. He was thorough and efficient in his work. He took everything apart and cleaned it thoroughly, both inside and the unit outside. Upon conclusion he explained in great detail what he did and what he would recommend going forward. He was very thorough in his explanation of the process and what I should do moving forward. Highly recommend Griffin and David B.

The entire process of getting an estimate for a new AC system and installation was great. Kyle did a great job explaining the different system and broke down how each component works. Jordan and his team did an awesome job installing the system. Jordan explained how to operate the new thermostat and filter system. He made sure no debris was left. Great company!!

James called ahead to make sure his arrival time would be convenient. Promptly started the replacement of our tub valve in the master bathroom. Kept communication lines open of everything that was happening. Upon completion, he cleaned up as if he were never there. Did a great job and would recommend James for anyone needing plumbing work done ?

Kylan explained all of my options and the entire process of the job. Jordan, Mike, and Castro did primo work and answered all of my questions.

The team showed up in force early. They worked for nearly 13 hours straight replacing two AC systems. They were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The price was almost half that of the competition with a better system. Before leaving They cleaned up and made sure we knew how to work the systems.

Randy from Griffin Service tried to repair our tankless hot water unit. He even went to a local supply store for a part. It didn't work but he went above and beyond staying here until 10pm! We had Griffin install a new water heater by Dustin & Randy. They were very responsive with excellent service. We trust them.

Very helpful. Installed the new AC without any problems. Took their time and did not rush through it. Love how they laid down protective lining to protect the carpet and floors. Showed us how to use the new unit and how to clean it each month. Best service around.

I had issues with heat when temperatures drop at night. Leon came and checked the unit and came up with the conclusion that it was that the thermostat was not programmed right. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend using Griffin services no doubt ask for Leon he’s awesome!

Brandon and Lee provided excellent information on A/C units and let us decide which we preferred. Installation was done quickly and efficiently! They were both awesome!!! They were a pleasure to have at my home! Because of them, if we need a service again, we will call you guys!!!

A while back, our AC unit went out and we needed to get quotes on a new one. Had three companies come out. Griffin was one of them. This tech was the only one who did not put booties on his dirty shoe went upstairs on the carpeting and into the AC room which is covered with thick plywood on the floor. He was a large man and literally broke through our floor and never said anything. Never offered to replace. He never said a word that he had even broken it. His explanation of what was wrong with the AC unit was lame and he did not seem knowledgeable at all. The other two companies spent quite a lot of time, gave us a thorough explanation and a quote. Of course, we ended up going with one of the other companies. Was very disappointed in this company. Shocked that other reviews are so good.

This was my first time using Griffin. Errol and his colleagues were fabulous! Scheduling the appointment online was a breeze. I received a text and call when Errol was on his way which I really appreciated. He covered our floor and inside the kitchen cabinet and came ready to work with all of the tools he needed. We added on other services and they got it all done in the same day. Pricing was very fair. Excellent work and professional people. We will be using Griffin in the future.

We had Griffin give us an estimate to replace our 15 year old A/C handler and conductor. They came out the next morning and replaced it. They were professional, polite and finished sooner than expected. They leaned up nicely and showed us everything. Pricing was good…..would recommend

The lady that answered was responsive and clear. Randy called and arrived as stated. He was sincerely interested in trying to get the water heater fixed even though the initial response from his super was it might take a few days due to warranty and parts. Fortunately he got a company rep on the phone who walked him through some steps and got us temporary hot water until they come back on Monday for a permanent resolution. Randy explained things about the water heater that the original guy who installed it, did not. So that was also helpful.

I called Griffin for a plumbing issue and Tracy was at my house the next day. She was friendly, professional, and she really knew her stuff. She helped me understand my options, provided me with a detailed quote, and once I made my choice, she fixed me right up! I will be calling Griffin again with my AC and plumbing issues.

My natural gas grill needed to be hooked up by a Plumber. Dustin was very professional and knowledgeable. He made sure that I understood the operation of my grill and the natural gas hook up system. I feel very confident that my natural gas grill was hooked up safely and I have no reservations using the grill. I recommend Griffin Service without hesitation.

I had 2 condensers and air handlers installed on 1/30. The system was not operating properly and Joe came out and resolved the gaps from the team that did the install the previous day. I want to be candid that my trust in Griffin went down, but Joe changed that lack of trust after spending 4 hours at my home to ensure that everything was working as it should have been prior to the installation team leaving my house the previous day.

I had anew AC installed last February and got on the yearly maintenance plan. Shane installed the AC and was great! Today Eddie did a maintenance check. He took a lot of time to explain everything and show me how to set up auto and download app . He was great and very professional. Thanks Griffin!

Had an overnight HVAC issue and decided to call Griffin Service after hearing their radio commercials and think if I need an HVAC company I’ll try them. I’m so glad I did! Everyone I spoke with were courteous and professional. Eddie the technician called me about 45 minutes before arriving to let me know he was on the way. When he arrived he he was clean, professional and got straight to work. He didn’t try to sell me on anything and gave me plenty of options. The service was spot on and consistent with what their radio adds touted.

This is the second time I used Griffin Services in less than a week for two separate issues. This time I had Erroll in charge of my repairs and we was excellent. Very friendly, polite, fast, and honest. I am very pleased with the work Erroll did and with Griffin Services in general. I highly recommend them.

Randy with Griffin was absolutely fantastic. He was super professional and courteous. Randy jumped right in and quickly assessed the problem, discuss the solution and quoted me a price I could live with that included a service guarantee. I called Griffin on a Saturday morning when we had discovered that the bedroom carpet adjacent to the bathroom was completely soaked with water. Griffin sent Randy out that afternoon. He quickly ruled out a slab leak and began to determine where to cut a hole in the drywall to attempt to find the leak. He cut one, perfectly rectangular, hole in the wall and found that the leak was coming from a pinhole in the toilet water supply line. Then he cut one more small hole in the wall to access the PVC pipe and fix the leak. The work took him about an hour to complete. I would definitely recommend Griffin plumbing services and Randy as well.

Dustin from Griffin repaired my 30-year old gas fireplace and it works GREAT!!! The initial visit was timely and the first technician gave me a quote and put the part on order. When the part came in, Dustin did the repair/installation of the new part, and my fireplace is back in action! He was very cordial and super professional, cleaned up as he worked, vacuumed after he was done, and overall went above and beyond what I would have expected. I highly recommend Griffin for gas fireplace repair!

Excellent service. Courteous knowledgeable and on time. Will use again and again. James Bowers was great..UPDATE:I had horrible experience with John (senior electrician) who showed up on 3/15/2023 with an outstanding junior electrician (Dominic). Operations manager (Sarah) was called to describe the totally unprofessional behavior and attitude by John. My overall experience with Griffin staff has been outstanding so far. John is definitely an exception. Sarah promised that they will never send John to any future service call. I had a short in a front-yard electrical outlet that was triggering the main breaker. I inspected the electrical outlet (next to my front-yard fountain) and it was very obvious that a crack has developed and shorted the wires. The wires were charred and totally fused. I was 99.99% certain that this was the root-cause for triggering circuit breaker. Hence, I placed a service call with Griffin to have an electrician come out and replace the electric outlet. John showed up (with Dominic) and started immediately to offer me a-la-cart menus of services regardless of what I want or even need. He started by quoting me a $525 charge for 1 hour to diagnose the short and insisted that he cannot do anything before he performs a diagnostic service. I was speechless and insisted on not wanting to pay this outrageous amount for a service I do not need since the root-cause was obvious. John stated that if they do not perform diagnostics for 1 hour whatever they do is not guaranteed to work. I asked how much was the cost to replace outlet/receptacle. John quoted $165. I asked him to proceed and replace. I had specificity requested when I called in to have the technician bring on the truck an outdoor GFI receptacle since I knew the root-cause. The crew did not bring any. Now they needed to go buy one. John then changed his quotation to $390 with a disclaimer that it may not work and they are doing at my own risk. His explanation, which did not make any sense, was he needed to replace the entire box not just the outlet. I asked him to proceed begrudgingly. Dominic disconnected the fused wires and proceeded to the main circuit breaker in the garage to ensure 100% that the outdoor charred wires were in fact the root-case. That was a very logical step. John stopped Dominic immediately and I heard him tell Dominic that if he flipped the breaker to verify the short there would be an additional $525 charge for diagnostics which I did not purchase (the total will be approx $1,000 to replace the electrical outlet). I heard that and I got super upset. I went myself to the garage and flipped the breaker and as expected, the charred/fused wires were the root-cause. I then told John that his attitude was unprofessional and that I felt he was fleecing me. I proceeded to call Griffin’s customer service line and I asked for a manager to complain and get help resolve the issue. Sarah took my call. After exchanging facts and 4 pictures I agreed to pay $390 and that Dominic will go to purchase and come back to install it and that Griffin will place a note on my account for John to never take any of my future service calls. I still feel that I was over-charged since the technician did not have the needed receptacle on the truck, but Dominic did a fine job. All of Griffin’s service calls (HVAC, Gas, Tankless Heater, move my A/C, etc.) went very well in the past and I had given Griffin 5 stars. This time my overall satisfaction is very llow. Griffin charges premium price and I expect premium service. John was clearly attempting to fleece me and was taking me like a fool. Please note that I am a Griffin regular customer (the most prized) and I pay Griffin monthly maintenance fee for HVAC, Tankless, Water Filtration upkeep. I also told Griffin’s operation manager I would be writing this review because I feel obligated to do so after I gave them 5-star review in the recent past. Leon was very professional, knowledgeable and explained what issues we had with our system, presented the solutions and we came up with a game plan to implement the program to correct the problems. Leon was also very personable. We highly recommend Griffin Services for you next AC/Heating repairs or maintenance!

Griffin is the way to go! Water Softener with charcoal and the reversed osmosis for a reasonable price while other places were a rip off! I'm very happy with my whole house being filtered from the main source. John installed it all, very professional and very understanding of what we needed, thank you for helping us!

I googled “plumbing services” after an outside spigot broke and bursted. I called Griffin Service and they scheduled a same-day repair for me. We used this company for a complete repype of our house. Matthew and Paul where are technicians and they were amazing from start to finish. They were on time everyday and always came with smiling faces and great attitudes. Before they started the job and once they were finished for the day they always asked if we had any questions and they kept us updated the entire time on what was going on or if they encountered any issues and what their plan for resolution was. I am so grateful for everything that they did and how much they helped us. They really turned this whole bad experience around for us and went above and beyond everyday! I don't usually write a review.But,I was so impressed I felt compelled to do so. Matthew Sours & Paul Pennington did an exemplary job.They we're very knowledgeable and worked very well together. I was quite impressed with the whole process.And they even cleaned up after. Thank you guys for all your hard work. I would also like to thank Tracy for for helping me with the financial process,she explained everything in detail.And worked very hard to get me a good price. 12 months ,no interest. Thanks for your help .

Griffin is overpriced and probably a rip off. Charged over $600 to correct a “wiring” issue on a zoned hvac controller. Took at 20 mins and included no parts. That’s $1800/hr.Also needed a new thermostat downstairs. They had two options. One was a standard thermostat for $365. The other was a smart thermostat for $850. That’s when I realized they were ripping me off so I declined any of the thermostat replacement and bought a smart thermostat for under $200 and installed myself in 10 mins.

From my first phone, Griffin Service was polite, and professional.Tracy came and fixed the problem quickly.She was very professional and nice.Highly recommend this company.

I had a couple of issues. The electrical install was overpriced, the tankless heater was delayed, but prob because it was a special TECO program. James kinda made up for all that. Timely, very personable, very professional.. HE Did a good job. His only problem was he was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. We had a great chat about football with mutual respect for both our teams. Anthony was very friendly. He's got a great attitude. Also, the quote I got was one of the better quotes I've recieved. Anthony might be the reason why I choose this company. A good attitude goes a long way.

We called Griffin after waiting 2 months for a different company to repair our air/ heat unit. Griffin set up an appointment the next morning. Ralph was great! He explained everything perfectly, he triple checked to make sure he had everything in order before he left, and made sure to answer all my questions. Griffin hands down has the BEST guys in the field, they are always so kind, so professional, so patient, they never rush through things, they have incredible customer service values, they do things RIGHT!!

Thus far, I just had Griffin tech Joe Schiraldi come out to do an assessment. And, without reservation, Joey immediately proved himself to be an open, honest, and unquestionable customer service-oriented professional. He ensured I understood the difference between what's needed and not - to ensure that I do not spend more than necessary. Even when I pushed for more, he said, If that is what you desire, however, do you really want to spend more than you have to? He also openly expressed the pros & cons of repairing or replacing now compared to waiting until the system is fully broken. He also pushed hard for me to stay away from the things that could be done, but in he end, would result in a waste of time & ultimately thrown away money. Yes, that is a lot to be said for someone just doing an assessment, but that is how awesome Joey was. An exceptional first impression of the company and its employees!!!

I originally really liked this service. They did great work and were responsive, kept me up to date on what was going on. That was over 2 years ago.As of writing this today, I had a confirmed appointment to have a broken water pipe fixed. We had no water. I missed a whole day of work just to find out that they were not going to be making it today. I tried to call and text just to find our exactly what happened. I just didn't get any answers. I called, I got some kinda call center they have setup who told me they would try to get their dispatcher on they line. There was no response. The last text they sent me was they would be here after 2pm, but no other response after I texted them again after 4pm had passed. I texted them on Facebook, and I just got an apology, but still no answers about what was going on.I had to give up on them. It's now past 7pm and I called another service out to help me, which showed up literally within a few minutes of me calling. If you want to know who helped, it was Kingdom Based Plumbing. If they do a good job, you can bet I'll let everyone know.As of now, I'm probably never going to use Griffin Service again. I had been a good customer to them. I called them for whatever I needed, including installing a complete A/C system on our home. There is no excuse for how poorly Griffin Service handled this.

Jeffrey is the most amazing service guy at Griffin! He’s very knowledgeable about everything ac related. He’s been back to our house dealing with an issue that’s not Griffins fault but he stays until the issue is solved and really listens to our complaints. He’s truly a saint :-)

Returned after performing maintenance on the water softener system two months ago. Water became hard again Nigel determined the water softener may need to be replaced and may need manual operation. He re-examined his maintenance work today.Appreciate the professional review and guarantee two months after maintenance expense and visit.Today’s visit made me even happier with his services, and I would definitely call them for any other plumbing needs in the future.

They told us the system had to be pulled out cleaned then re-welded back in place. It worked for 2 weeks then went out and they told me it would be over $2400 in repairs. We had a 2nd opinion and come to find out the type of system I have doesn't have to be pulled out to be professionally cleaned. The other company told me that Griffin had no reason to pull it out amd in turn broke the system leading to it leaking freon. They should come out and fix the system they broke but they refuse to do anything saying it wasn't thier fault. Worse place to have ac work done by. Recommend Florida Home

We were in an emergency situation. Toilets backing up into showers! With four young kids and 2 adults in the house we were desperate. Called after hours and spoke to someone who said they would put out a service call. Never heard back. We called in the morning. Got put in the schedule. Technician came. Looked at a pipe under the house, opened a sweep and stated that the slope was off and the whole line needed replacing. Fine. Great. What about now? Is there anything you can do to get us going now?? We have no toilets!! No, he said. But he did charge us $99 for an estimate, no temporary solution for our huge problem and that quick peek he took. He left us stranded in sewage. What choice did we have!?! We accepted the work proposal at 330pm that afternoon, with an automated response that ensured that a call would be sent out to schedule. We did not hear anything back. We called the next morning and was surprised to hear that our work was not scheduled!! Come to find out, there was no availability until the next day!!! Forget it. We called DAVID GRAY. They came out the same day, popped open the line, shoved a camera through and saw a wall of grease!!! Wham, bam 20 minutes later we had toilets again!! What a relief! No doubt the slope of the pipe still needs to be addressed and it will be, just not by Griffin. We needed this temporary solution to function. Y’all left us. We would have paid WHATEVER to get the emergency addressed. Your tech didn’t look. He didn’t help. Also, your communication system is terrible. Sitting here writing this review I get a text informing me that your tech is on the way for the appointment that we cancelled LAST NIGHT. No thank you, sir. No thank you. Best of luck to you.

I have nothing positive to post about Griffin. They appear to have contracted to provide services to TECO but are understaffed or ill equipped to honor the contract. They do not follow-up, they do not meet appointments that they set. If I have concerns or questions, I have to contact them. They may provide quality service once they complete a job, but I wouldn’t know because I can’t even get them to perform the initial visit.

Griffin is always prompt to send someone out. Justin came to service our hot water heater and check our softener. He was extremely thorough, took time to answer any questions I had. Professional, friendly 5star!

We moved into a home and realized the AC was not working. I have been doing HVAC for a long time and have never treated a customer the way I was treated. My fiancé is pregnant and I am constantly working this time of year so I didn’t have time to fix the system myself. I called them out because they were the installing company and figured it would be covered under a one year labor warranty. System was installed January of this year. Long story short I called them out to correct the install error and was basically told I’m wasting “Joes” time. Asked to speak with their Operations Manager and haven’t heard from anyone. I have since corrected the issue but that’s not the point. I expected the same service as any customer and extremely disappointed with this company. Most systems are installed incorrect and this is a perfect example of that. Pictures are to show what the issue was since they didn’t want to entertain my service call. Clogged piston and capillary tubes. ??

They are the absolue worst at appointments. They do not offer a time frame instead they say go about your day and we will call when we're on our way. That just does not work for me. Also, when you do have a day scheduled they may or may NOT show up at all.. so not very reliable. We will be looking for a different HVAC company.

The tech that came to my house left such a bad taste in my mouth telling me my repair would cost around $30,000 that I didn't call them back and put it off for 6 months. Just had the problem remedied for less than $2,000. Wouldn't call them again or recommend for any service.

I called because my system was working poorly and my home got up to 80 degrees. The unit had just been service by Snyder in May before I purchased my home. Griffin came out same day,, found a buried drain pipe that was causing constant backups and poor output. They moved the pipe above ground, unclogged the lines, replaced the capacitor and offered to install my Nest thermostat I had bought. I said yes. 2 hours later and my 80 degree house is now a comfy 74. You betcha I bought their maintenance plan. Thanks Griffin! New lifetime customer.

Dave B came out this afternoon to inspect our system that is not cooling all rooms equally. He went through and measured the air flow and temps from every vent then went back and made adjustments as needed. This seems to have done a good job but he went on to explain how the return air vents are not performing up to par the way they are installed and explained a solution and provided an estimate for that work but suggested we wait for a hot day to see how the current adjustments really work before jumping in to the other work. That is why we stopped using McGowan and started using Griffin, first - they return calls, second - when they come out they are professional and thorough. Thanks again !!

Everything about my experience with Griffin was excellent. Professional scheduler got us set up quickly for same day repair on tankless water heater. Tech Gerald was fantastic, knew the problem before he even looked at the unit. Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I am new in the area, Griffin is now my go to for plumbing issues.

FIRST TIME: I hired them to remove a horrid utility sink from the laundry room. Even though it was pouring rain when they arrived, my floors and the work area were left spotless and they even hauled that ugly sink to the curb. Thanks, guys!SECOND TIME: After having a positive experience the first time, I called them back out to look at a leaking supply valve to my washer. They charged me a $69 service call just to look at it, then after sending 2 men who knew nothing about plumbing to look, they called the boss (who NEVER saw the issues) and told me the only way to fix it was to remove the entire assembly from the wall (tearing open the wall to do so) and that the cost would be $900. Knowing a bit about plumbing after 30 years of renovating homes, I sent them away and called a REAL plumber. That plumber only charged me $100.00 total, had it fixed in less than 30 minutes with about $10 worth of parts and it works great, no issues. So consumer beware...they may be ok for some stuff, but not plumbing leaks.

Had Griffin do AC check and cleaning due to having a coupon. Technician was pretty thorough including leaving pictures of suggested repairs and work done. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that Griffin (no fault of the tech I’m sure) gave me a quote of over $150 to replace UV light ( the bulb cost $59) and over $200 to replace the capacitor which cost me $15. Very suspect of over pricing. Sorry, just how ai feel.

The water throughout my house was not getting hot so I called Griffin in the morning and they scheduled me right away same day to help with my electric tankless water heater. Their communication was excellent from scheduling, arrival and walking me through what was wrong with my water heater. I have had A/C issues for The past three years and have gone through seven different AC companies in an attempt to have it repaired. After hearing a radio ad about Griffin Services I Figured I’d give it one more shot to find a company that knows what they’re doing. At the recommendation of our pool installer, I hired Griffin to run a gas line and hook up the pool heater. The installation was not functional at first, but Griffin was extremely responsive to calls and worked diligently with both the pool installer and heater manufacturer to identify and resolve the issue. He never told me his name but he fixed the problem easily and quickly. My gas tankless water heater thermostat fell out of it's mooring and was hanging by a wire. He put longer sheet rock screws and reattached the thermostat. Done!

Our ac drain line got clogged and started leaking through our ceiling. The next day griffin plumbing service came out to help us figure out the issue, we thought it was the washer since we just installed it that day. After cleaning our washer drain line and running the washer the leak persisted and Errol the plumbing tech said “where’s your ac?!” (It’s right next to our washer) he could see it was leaking and had overflowed. He quickly called his team and got A/C and the water restoration crew out. A/C took a while to get there but they had texts that let us know the a/c tech was finished with his other job and would be heading our way. The a/c tech was quick and ableTo diagnose the issue and fix it in under an hour. They were super informative and answered all our questions, and while they showed up late I’m glad they showed at all. Such a stressful experience since we justMoved into our home one month ago and these professionals really handled this so well. We even signed up for their membership. Super glad we used griffin. They took a lot of stress out of a very stressful situation.

Had a switch where the spring had corrosion and had intermittent failure to connect, Logan arrived quickly, assessed the unit, and gave us a full breakdown even taking the time to make sure we followed his explanation of the problem and the repairs needed. I had a tech come out for an estimate on installing a tankless water heater. He was professional and answered all my questions and I will be proceeding with the work.I'm giving 4 stars because of the miscommunication when scheduling the appointment. I made it for a Tuesday, got confirmation from Griffin through text and email and no one ever showed up.When I called they said it was moved to Friday without confirming this with me. This was a huge inconvenience and is unacceptable from a licensed company.

Tracy was the first plumber that cared enough to find the issue and fix and give great advice. The past 3 visits were unproductive and a waste of time and money. I HIGHLY recommend Tracy and will wait to have her service any future needs! 10+ to final get an answer and solution.

I called Griffin Service on a Thursday afternoon due to a sporadically working tankless hot water heater. They took my info and said they'd have a tech call me the next day when they were on their way to my house. That ended up being around 10am, but I had already reached out to a friend who was able to fix the problem earlier that morning. They were very nice about me canceling, and the two people I tailed to send like they were nice and cared about helping. I would definitely call them for service again if needed.

We had a gas leak in our house somewhere and they were very methodical and checked everything, even being here late on Thanksgiving eve. Found leak seams to be in my generator so testing that for the next 24 hours. Would recommend them for service!

We spent $18000 on a brand new AC system. Since it has been installed a little over a year ago Griffen has been back to repair several parts that went bad. We have error codes almost monthly. Each time its something new. I have asked several times for a manager to call me back and have never received a call back from anyone. The last time the technician came out (just last month), the AC stopped working the same night! Now less than a month later another error code! I will be contacting the BBB tomorrow. I just do not know what to do at this point. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I would never use them if I had another chance.

Dave was fantastic. Was very knowledgeable and courteous as performed quick, successful troubleshooting and explained what he was doing and why throughout his service activity. AC issue was resolved quickly and without any further issue over the next 2 days.

3 repair visits in 14 months on an over priced unit? Unit was installed on existing copper. Found out during installation that new copper would cost an additional thousand dollars! I was never given the option during negotiations. Oldest trick in the book, You be the judge.

I received a call 30 minutes before my tech Randy showed up. I showed him what repairs I wanted done. He gave me my price that I agreed with. He got right to work and was done with my shower faucet and bathroom sink plumbing repairs quite quickly. It came with a two year repair warranty so that’s a plus.

Called them on a Thursday mid day. Our thermostat went out sometime during the night. They were here the same day. They wired it so we wouldn’t be without ac til they could get us a replacement. I've been in Florida 18 years, and I've gone through 3 AC companies No need to mention their names they know who they are. that being said. I heard an ad for Griffin services. So, I call to inquire, and I thought is this a gimmick. So, I schedule a PM. OMG they are exactly who they say they are. their technicians Logan and Eddie who are OCD like myself very detailed and explain things in English so that I the homeowner understand, feel comfortable about what I'm Purchasing and to keep my family comfortable. They know the equipment and the products they stand behind.When I had Griffin services come out for the 1st time about a year ago what they noticed on my recently install AC unit from another company that my 2-phase system was wired for a 1-phase, so it was inefficient and always on high costing me more electricity and wear and tear. Eddie rewired the for the crew when ahead and fix that for me thank you then we proceeded to notice other pieces in the system that were done incorrectly causing me failures as well and I had them correct those which was out of my pocket, but worth it this system is purring and my AC unit never ran this good I have to put a coat on or go out side to thaw out. Nigel and Gerald were amazing. They arrived quickly, went above and beyond to try to problem solve, ran to get a part and worked very efficiently so I could get my water turned back on without a geyser in my bathroom! Highly recommend both of them.

We had Griffin Plumbing replace the shutoff valves for our washing machine in order to replace a dead unit. Our tech was very nice and skilled. We were charged over $900 for about 2-3 hours of work, and later found other plumbers in the area that charge closer to $120/hr. We also received a quote for replacing 3 exterior hose bibbs that amounted to another $900 ($300 each.) We ultimately had two replaced by Pack's Plumbing for just over half the cost.The advantage of Griffin is that they are very quick - if you have an emergency and money is not an issue, they can get the job done for you! For non-emergencies we would not use their services again as the cost is far too high, and the quality is frankly not above other local plumbers.

In the middle of summer our AC stopped working. We put in a call to Griffin Service and they were able to come out right away and check things out. It was hotter than heck as we were waiting for the bad news. We were sure it was going to have to be replaced, but how much money would that be?! We got the answer quickly... under $200, yay!! Even though our AC was old, Griffin was able to replace a blown capacitor and give it years of life! What a relief. Five stars EASY

The unresponsiveness of this company has surpassed Xfinity Cable! You sit around your house all day and wait for them to come. They have yet to come twice, but Xfinity comes within a three hour window!!I reached out to this company as a “new customer” hoping they would want my $50,000 contract. I’ve heard about them on WOKV radio 104.5 Jacksonville and everybody talks about them as being a great HVAC company. This is not the case so far they have been very unresponsive and uncommunicative with the exception of Sarah the person that makes the appointments in the office.I reached out to Griffin the week after Labor Day 2022. to have a quote done on my home for blown in insulation and radiant barrier installed. Sarah stated that a tech would be out to my house to give me a quote that day,awesome!;so I thought. The tech never showed up and I never received a call back to reschedule anything nothing from this company.I called the company back the following week and again spoke to Sarah and she put me on the schedule for another appointment six business days away and here we are to that sixth day and the tech never showed up never got a call from the company or an email.Looks like I’ll be taking my business elsewhere they say it’s the best but it’s not always the case.

Technician came out when scheduled and fixed the issue. Replaced defective motor. Technician also cleaned the fan. Unfortunately whatever substance he used to spray and clean the fans? killed a good sized patch of my grass as he had laid it down in the front yard while spraying it. You can see dead grass with two decent sized distinct black circles within dead grass area. So not too happy about that. I would have preferred he just laid it in the driveway as there was plenty of room. I am assuming it wouldn’t have harmed the concrete.

Had used Griffin for the past few years and was satisfied. The past 6 months have had to call them out several times for AC work, and increasingly felt something wasn't right.Recently, one of their guys came out for an AC call, charged me almost $1,000 for new Freon, but missed diagnosing what we subsequently learned was a very obvious leak. One week later, system isn't working again, call them out again, they fix the leak and charge me again to fill the Freon, even though they obviously missed the leak ONE week prior.Shortly after this the compressor fails, they quote me for labor (compressor covered by warranty) more than double market rates. Given the relentless pressure from them to replace the unit, I suspect they use high labor rates to push you towards replacing your unit with their preferred brand.Griffin used to be great, but something definitely changed in the past 6 months and I can no longer trust them.

Nobody is happy when they realize it's time to replace the HVAC system and clean the ducts. Griffen made it quick and at a reasonable price.But they went above and beyond. As I was trying to load somethings in the attic, Andrew stopped what he was doing and did it for me. What a wonderful unexpected surprise. Really great people. Customer for life

Awesome from the first call, estimate, and the actual installation. Everyone was on time and notified me when they were on the way to my house. Christian and Austin did a fantastic job of removing my old hot water heater and installing my new tankless system. They were very meticulous with everything and I could not be happier. My technicians Logan, Eddie and David B, arrived on time and let me know when they were on the way. Griffin also sent a picture of technician’s so I knew who was coming to my home. They did a complete diagnosis of my system and was able to locate mold in my system and get is remediated. While I wish plumbing cost less and that I could have gotten someone to come out sooner, my experience with Griffin was a good one. They called and texted when on the way, even though it was later than I had expected. Service was professional, quick, and actually knew what he was doing, unlike the previous company I had called. Most of all, I hope not to need a plumber again any time soon, but if I do, I'll call Griffin Services.

Joe performed our 6 month service for the A/C and water heater today. This is the second time he specifically has come out although griffin has been put to our house multiple times due to cruddy builder installation (definitely not griffin). Joe is always professional and friendly. He always takes the time to explain everything to me in a way I can understand without talking down or being demeaning. We love having griffin as our A/C service and as long as they keep it up we will never leave.

I now have only Griffin's number, if they can't get to it I wait until they can , I don't want another company .

John and his crew did a great job. Very knowledgeable and professional. They suggested upgrades while performing the re-pipe, but did not push or try to hard sell me. I had an unreleated problem on the weekend during the re-pipe. John dispatched a technician promptly and quickly resolved this issue, giving me much needed temporary water until the job could be completed. If I have any other issues I will not hesitate to call and use Griffin.

Very professional, service same day. I had no hot water, called them and they came on the same day, found a simple problem. The gauge showed 70lbs, tech taps on the meter, which apparently “unstuck” the needle and I was near 0 gas. Gas company called who, came out immediately, Courtsey Gas Company, replaced the regulator, Nice hot showers again.

I had a couple service techs come out for a gas install at my in-laws. They sent two guys, Dustin and Jim. Let me say, not only are these two professional, funny and knowledgeable. They are determined to get the job done, and get it done right! They know how to make a stressful situation pleasant. It was a pleasure to meet these two gentlemen and I highly recommend these two specifically. They are like the modern day Mario Brothers. Great guys really.If you have the option to request techs, ASK FOR THESE TWO. It would be a shame if they split them up. I havn't seen techs so committed before, its very nice to see that still exists today.

Not to get too specific, but I was lied to and over charged. Plus, just look at the brands they use. Go somewhere else, trust me. Very disappointed.

My A/C system cooled the house up to 81°, that’s No Bueno!First interaction - I called Griffin Services on Thursday morning and had the pleasure of speaking with Lacey. She took the time to answer my questions, which I had a number of….and accrued more as the conversation progressed. She is pleasant, polite, and helpful. I felt comfortable with Griffin Services even more whence we concluded our telephone chat. I set up an appointment for the next day to have a technician come out to diagnose and refresh my A/C for summertime.Thursday evening I am home talking to my wife, and we conjure a couple more questions. So it’s 1900-7:00pm and here I am calling Griffin Services, expecting nothing. Who do I have the delight of tonight? YOU GUESSED IT…..None other than Lacy! So as we chat on speakerphone, my wife and I listened as she totally blows our expectations out of the universe again. Lacey saved us a little bit of money with her knowledge of her job. She seems like she cares and enjoys working with Griffin Services. We ended up adding one service and changing the existing service to another more encompassing package. Of which, my wife felt confident as well.Friday morning comes and Leon Parker arrives right on time. He is polite and diligent. His knowledge is great and he was kind enough to explain things to me completely and thoroughly. I knew what he was talking about when he explained it to me. Leon arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. The repair was fairly priced. He also showed me other things that I need to keep an eye one. No pressure and thorough.

AC went out late last week, tech was able to get out to troubleshoot early the following day, repair was not the best option due to the failure and age of unit, Griffin was able to install a new unit the next day. All techs involved were informative and friendly, prepared, efficient and left the place in good order.

Joe troubleshot our mini split issue. He added freon and got the heat working, but recommended the installers come out because our lines are in the wall and the sheet rock will need to be cut. He also let us know about the Griffin club membership (which we purchased). He was very helpful and informative.

Hands down the best overall company. I have used them for plumbing repairs multiple times, electrical, water heater, and well water system install. They have the best customer service over the phone, and the techs are all knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. Highly recommend!

After hearing from our home owner warranty company’s hired A/C contractor stating that they couldn’t get to our home until sometime the following week to repair our broken A/C unit in this 96+ degree weather, I called Griffin in hopes for a same day miracle. Not only did Griffin respond the same day, they troubleshot and repaired my faulty unit in less than 20 minutes. Joe S., our tech from Griffin, was extremely professional, courteous, and spot on with his skillset. I will always use Griffin for my A/C repair needs.

Billy came out to do the routine maintenance on our 2 AC units. I knew the one for upstairs needed to be replaced (18 years old). He was knowledgeable, kind and very professional. He did confirm that the upstairs unit was on its last leg. We also had some issues with air circulation on one side of the house. He went into the attic to check with ductwork and made some observations/ recommendations that would help with that. He told me about the Griffin Club (which is a GREAT deal) and said I would be receiving quotes soon for a new upstairs unit and the ductwork repairs. Looking forward to working with Griffin in the future!

Logan came today and gave my system a thorough evaluation and check-up. He was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and very professional.

I used them to install two new AC systems and water heater. I called to get an estimate on duct work and they wanted $199 just for an estimate even though I had previous work and was also a maintenance customer. I called Hammond Air and got a free estimate and had them do the duct work as well as replace the system on my rental property. Griffen did a good job but trying to charge an existing customer for an estimate cost them a customer.

When I called Griffin, the super friendly dispatcher took my call, and set up an appointment for the same day. I thought the $69 charge to get an estimate was more than reasonable, especially for same day service. The technician, Leon, was very knowledgeable and efficient. He was able to quickly resolve and fix the problem, and recommended some future services to help boost the efficiency of my old unit. Definitely will call Griffin again, but hopefully won't have to for a whole.

A Griffin Service representative came to my house today to service my old timer AC unit. Shane was very pleasant and patient with all my questions as he showed me what he was doing to service my AC. He also gave me a detailed quote on a what would be necessary to replace it when the time comes. I just can't say enough about how pleased I am with Shane and his company. They are stellar in professionalism and care of this customer (me). I had many questions and Shane made sure that I had all the answers to my questions. When it is time to change my old AC unit...there will be no other company that I will call. Griffin does business the old fashioned way...and for this senior...I miss old fashioned service these days. Again...I highly recommend them. And by the way...you might ask for Shane :-)

Called to get refund for unneeded part we were charged for and gave called 3 times with NO call back over the last 2 weeks. Was promised a manager would call each time. Still have yet to hear from anyone . Is this how you handle an upset customer? Very poor customer care!! Do better Griffin!

Front the young lady that took the call and scheduled the service call, to the estimate/quote, to the two techs that replaced our old hvac everyone was top shelf. Everything was spelled out clearly and the work was completed 100% as quoted. The system is better than I expected. I am thoroughly pleased with the total experience.

Our kitchen faucet started leaking Monday evening. We were able to get a plumber out the next day. Dustin quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the options thoroughly. I decided to have the faucet replaced, purchased one the same day, and the next day Dustin was able to return to install it. He came back with another tech, Austin, and they both installed the faucet perfectly in 30 minutes. They also removed all of the old material for disposal. Very happy for the quick, courteous, thorough, and professional service. Would definitely use again. Thank you!

Scheduled an appointment with this company on Tuesday for Friday and everything seemed professional got a confirmation text as soon as I got off the phone and a follow up confirmation text on Thursday afternoon. They don't give appointment times or even ranges so I had to take the entire day off work to meet them. Waited here all day Friday, texted them at 3pm only to have them tell me oh, the plumber is stuck on a job and won't be able to make it today and offered to reschedule me nearly a week later. Clearly the plumber would have known much earlier in the day if the job was going to take significantly longer and they could have let me know but what is also clear is that this company only values their own time. I do not recommend them based on this experience.

I called to have a quote done they came out and quoted my entire bathroom instead of just my tub and shower like I asked. On top of that I asked for an itemized quote and they just sent me a a flat rate quote for over 6k. That was over a month ago I still have not received my quote. I called and asked for my money back and they had an attitude on the phone. I will be disputing this and reporting them to the BBB.

Tech was on site when I was told, they called when they were on their way and the service and equipment are top notch. Griffin really is awesome. I have used them for other services and repairs and they are always exceptional.

I found water pouring out of our almost 17 year old water heater in our garage this evening. We called Griffin because we had heard they can often times do same day installations. Steve called and gave us some options and we decided that it would be best to get it replaced this evening. Steve came out and went right to work confirming our unit was done for. This company is marked as 24/7 plumbing, ac, and heating services. I called them and they had availability; however, the dispatcher stated they would not come to diagnose my hot water heater issue simply because I was a tenet. I have a legally binding lease and was willing to pay to have the issue fixed, but my property owner lives out of the country. I think this is the dumbest rule, and do not recommend this company.

David was great! He was knowledgeable, professional and timely. He was respectful of my home and took his time to measure twice and cut the drywall once. Once the pipe work was done, he replaced the tub/shower fixtures with no problem. Quality job for sure. I was reticent but David assured me of his experience and ability to successfully complete the project which he did. He also took a look at a different issue I was having with my bathroom sink and offered suggestions for preventive care. I will definitely use this company again.

Update: We have now used Griffin for plumbing our bathroom remodel as well as installing a new ac Unit since our 21 year old unit ended up finally biting the dust in the summer. We have been so satisfied with them we signed up for their membership and it’s nice to have piece of mind using them. They are always very professional, polite and do a great job. Still highly recommend Griffin!Previous review: Our heat went out suddenly late and I was able to call and get an appointment the very next morning. When the technician was on his way I received a phone call with an eta then shortly after a text from the company stating who the technician was with a short bio and a photo of who was showing up, I really appreciate this detail from their company! The technician Joe was very polite, Joe kept me informed the whole time he was working and as to what he was doing and what was needed. He even took time to answer questions about some additional products we were interested in and to discuss their membership plan with me as well, since our unit is almost 21 years old. Joe was the first technician that has not told me my unit will probably die on us soon because of the age, he just recommended keeping it serviced to keep it thriving at its old age. I will definitely continue to use Griffin Services and highly recommend them.

Tech came out, saw that I had a dog, automatically assumed that my dog peed on the condenser coils and they're now ruined, said they have a leak, there was no visible corrosion. Said my capacitor was bad, although my unit was running, charged me without even putting under warranty, which it has a 10 year parts warranty, then told me I needed to just buy an entire new unit, mine is two years old! Also said they don't sell mismatch units, so I would have to buy both new units! I called for a second opinion, the leak is on the evaporator coils inside, no access to a dog, covered under warranty, do not need a new unit! Griffin needs to check their tech's knowledge and character. I believe this tech was trying to get a sale of a new unit! Couldn't had the decency to put the part he claims was bad that HAD to be replaced before he could do anything, under warranty instead of charging me $219 for a $15 part. Never again will I use this company for any services!

Words can hardly express the level of professionalism, customer service and know-how of the team at Griffin Services! From our initial phone contact to the visit with the engineer, installation team and duct installation team, our experience was nothing short of exceptional! In addition, it is summer here in North Florida, and most often, every HVAC company from here to Miami is booked solid! Initial contact to installation was less than two days (and the only reason that was, is I believe our initial contact was on Friday). These folks are not afraid to work hard, regardless of the temperature of the attic, the men are friendly, and highly considerate of your home. They cleaned up and the best part, was they were very conscious of my pets and took extra care to make sure that there were no escapes! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. The team at Griffin services IS LEGIT and while I cannot speak for everyone, I know that I would most definitely use their services again! Despite scheduling days in advance they don't give a window time frame for arrival on appts so I burned a vacation day and spent ALL day waiting. At 3:50pm when I still hadn't heard from them I called and was assured they will be by and they finish all jobs scheduled for the day. 5:40pm came and I got a call saying the tech wouldn't make it because of a busy day and they dont work past 5pm. I contacted Griffin via online to come out and give me a quote to install a new water heater. Not only did they confirm via email my appointment; their receptionist called to verify the appointment the day before and day of, and their technicians called on their way and showed up on time.Not only were the techs that came out knowledgeable, but offered advice on what they thought were good options for the new water heater, and when they sent back the quote via email they included all options available with pricing.Because of their prompt and courteous service I used them to install my new water heater.They replaced my 2004 Rheem Solaraide with a new AO Smith 66 gallon hybrid unit. Dustin and his teammate showed up this morning on time calling to let me know they were on their way. When they got here they got straight to work replacing the water heater.I can not speak high enough about the service from Griffin, but I will be using them for more electrical and plumbing needs.

We selected Griffin Services to install a gas line for our new pool heater. They were not the cheapest quote, but they were fair, on time, knowledgeable, and professional. During the process, the local gas company dropped the ball and did not install a regulator going into the house that left us with no hot water. Our Griffin Services Specialist, Dustin Williams, came out to our house at 10:30 pm on a Saturday night, to make sure we would have hot water until the gas company returned to complete the installation. I would HIGHLY recommend Dustin Williams and Griffin Services where customer service is a premium.

I needed a new water installed for insurance purposes and was on a time crunch! Griffin was able to call me in the morning at 11am and have a brand new tank going in SAME DAY by 4pm! Tech was efficient, professional, knowledgeable and polite!

Heard about Griffin Service through radio ad months ago. I decided to have them look at my HVAC system due to a leak, discovered months earlier. They came promptly as scheduled. I discussed the leak with their Tech, Eric R.. He then explained my options in full details . Eric was very professional and was able to answer all my questions while he work on my a/c. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and experience. He found the leak and did the repair, while giving me more info on the matter. To the owner of this company and to fellow readers in search for an amazing company : I have been in my home for the last three years and I know that I had bought a home which had a lot of problems. One of the problems consisted of needing to be repipe my home (The company that worked on the plumbing in this home before I bought it really did not know what they were doing). I bet you all can imagine how devastating a costly repair would be for the home. However when I called Griffin, I was quickly given a very reasonable estimate and then was able to get a quick turnaround to start the repipe project . The technicians Keith and Elijah are truly phenomenal people and worked very hard on my home to bring it back to life .They arrived on time, we’re very professional and always made sure to explain what they were going to do and show me their work when they had finished a portion. Something so stressful and yet I was relaxed because I knew my home was in very capable hands . I was incredibly impressed with their knowledge and especially their ability to explain it to me and very relatable terms. My home was ready in 3 to 4 days and I was so impressed with how they made sure to protect my floors and always cleaned up after themselves so that I didn’t have another project to take care of. I needed emergency help with an overflowing toilet and after calling 6 other plumbers in my area, Griffin was the only one to be able to help today. I felt they throughly assessed the situation and gave me fair and honest estimates before beginning any work. They were quick, courteous and fixed my issue for the lesser of the two possible cost options. I will absolutely continue to use them in the future for any of my plumbing issues.

Get a handle on price beforehand. We had a leaky kitchen faucet. The last time we had it replaced we used Pack’s Plumbing, but we were having trouble reaching them and called Griffin instead. We also picked up a new replacement faucet.Pack’s charged $159 for the same job on the same sink in 2019, including the $59 trip charge. (Nothing wrong with workmanship... it was a cheap faucet).Griffin’s quote was $469, inclusive of the $69 trip charge. We paid the trip charge in exchange for nothing, refused the service and called Pack’s.On the positive side, Griffin seems to be very professional operation, with a nice friendly dispatcher/scheduler. The tech was friendly as well, and wore a mask. The scheduling window was very broad: Between 9am and 5pm. We received frequent texts to confirm the appointment and to notify us the tech was enroute.My mistake in assuming there would be some parity between rates between two plumbers in the same market performing the exact same work. It’s at most a 1 hour job, which puts Griffin’s rate at $400/hr vs Pack’s $100/hr.Update: Griffin called and apologized for the misunderstanding regarding rates. They also offered to refund the $69 service charge if I would agree to amend or delete the review. However, for them to do so required I sign what essentially was a legal release. The fact that such a release exists in the first place would lead me to believe that this is a standard business practice for them, and that there may be other negative reviews that have been handled in this manner. I decided to let them keep the $69 and let the review stand.

Have a cold water tub faucet that has not worked in months, had griffin come out and quoted me a price of $850 to fix a tub faucet handle. Absolutely absurd and a horrible way to run a business I was motivated to fix it myself now and believe it or not for under $50 I fixed it myself. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. High way robbery!!!

The sewer line inspection showed that it needs to be cleaned, but not immediately. Keith let me watch the screen as the camera went through the sewer line. I really appreciated that.

From my first call to Griffin they were 100% customer service oriented. We called for a second opinion because another contractor said we needed to replace our unit due to a coolant leak. 1st contractor said that he couldn't say for sure WHERE the leak was, but since our unit was 10+ years old it wasn't worth spending any more money to look because we could spend money on coolant that could be going toward the new unit. The logic was sound, but I wanted a second opinion to be sure.We paid Griffin to come out and give us that 2nd opinion. They went the extra mile (without asking) to use a sensor to confirm that the leak was in a location that made repairing the current unit cost prohibitive (in the core). While the first contractor was right, either he didn't want to go that one step further - or they didn't have the tool that Griffin had to test for the presence of coolant in the air. The 1st contractor wasn't bad, but I felt that Griffin has earned the business after confirming 100% the other contractors hunch.Once we signed with them, we got text updates on WHO was coming (with photos so we could recognize them) and when they would be there. Even a link to see how close they were. We were put on the schedule, and the techs were at our house exactly when they said they would be. They did the work, they put drop cloths everywhere, and they completed the job within about 15 minutes of the estimated completion time.I have no problem giving these guys a 100% recommendation. They were 100% professional from the word go.

RAVING CLIENT!!!!My A/C unit broke down about a week ago, that lead to a challenging, frustrating and confusing process. All I was looking for was honesty, reasonable price, and good warranty. Griffin sent James to install a Delta Trinsic Touch 2.0 faucet in our kitchen today. I scheduled the appointment through Google and text messages. Communication was excellent. James was professional, courteous, and made quick work of the installation. He noted the original faucet and soap dispenser were probably installed in the wrong holes. I never thought about it before but he was right. Since I purchased the faucet and soap dispenser, I was aware of their function, but he made sure to demonstrate and note the dispenser is filled from the top. I appreciate attention to detail. I will use Griffin again for our future plumbing needs.

I must say that Griffin Service is the top heating, ventilation & a/c service in the area. Yesterday I had a hot water heater installed by James and Blake, they are highly skilled and totally professional. They completed the install and explained in detail what I needed to do to prolong the life of my water heater. Prior to contacting Griffin Service I had another company scheduled to do the install but I cancelled, in the event I saved over $450. If you want to save money and get top notch service This is the company for you.

Great service and customer service, after a failed experience with a company trying to repair my older unit i decided to just replace it and found Griffin.Not only were they able to supply aquick quote but explained everything needed and most importantly what’s NOT needed as well, which not many companies do that.I asked for quotes on Monday from 4 different companies, made my decision on Tuesday and my A/C got installed Wednesday!!!Extremely pleased and will definitely do business with them again.

Installation went as planned. Our AC went out on Tuesday. Kyle, the customer service representative arrived on Wednesday morning at 10AM. By 12PM we had a replacement contract in place. Thursday evening at 5PM both new units where cooling our home. Kyle was even able to give us a better price and warranty than a competing vendor. Installation technicians were respectful, friendly and very professional. Kyle and customer service personnel have all called to make sure everything was working properly and to make certain they had met our expectations. Fantastic, prompt customer service.

The service tech was excellent. He was able to identify and describe a very complex issue that had arisen as a result of multiple plumbers servicing the house over its 80 year life. He fixed the immediate problem then instructed me on next steps, should I wish to rectify the underlying issue which could cause problems in the future. I don't know about the rest of the company, but my guy was great. I'll be calling the company for him again if I have plumbing issues in the future. I was 100% happy with this business from start to finish - answering initial questions, scheduling, notifications, and the tech Brenden was knowledgeable and professional. I even told him it wasn't necessary to fix one of the toilets since I had already arranged for it to be replaced (then later was convinced the problem was the sewer vent), but after patiently explaining how he knew it wasn't the vent, he explained I'd have to pay the base rate for him to show up so he fixed it anyway! I called a big name company who told me it would $148 just for them to come out. Plus $30 something for each 15 minutes if the service took more than 45 minutes, PLUS parts. I am so glad I looked for another option and found Griffin Plumbing. They had a special that was less than half what the big name company wanted and they would waive that if I elected to do the repairs they recommended. My plumber's name was Alan. Ge was on time, professional and friendly. He fixed the problem for in a timely fashion and was thorough in explaining what he was doing and why. The service call took about 90 minutes and cost only slightly more than the other company wanted to charge just to come out. I would give give Griffin and Alan 5 stars. I have found a company I can trust and a plumber that I like and I will call Griffin for all my future plumbing needs.

Highly recommend Griffin Service. They not only show up when they said they would,they also do an outstanding job without overcharging. They take the time to explain the pros and cons about different systems and what makes the most sense. Griffin Service replaced three aging air conditioning units with two high efficiency variable speed units. The difference in air quality in the house is noticeably more comfortable while realizing savings in electricity costs.We have also used Griffin to purchase and install a water conditioning system and my only regret is not doing it sooner.Jake did a great job with installation. He was on time,completely prepared and took the time to walk me through how everything works.A new hot water heater will likely be the next thing to be replaced and Griffin Service will be the only call I make.

This is by far the worst company we have ever dealt with. Received quotes from several companies, and went with Griffin because of the knowledgeable salesman, Kyle, and the reasonable price; not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Had our old, but working system replaced on April 20, 2021. When the City of Jacksonville inspector came out to do the inspection, the system failed. It took a month to get Griffin back out to fix the system and correct the failed issues. When the tech, Chad, showed up, he asked me what I wanted to have done, and said that he didn’t know what he was supposed to do! He considered cutting a hole in our roof to correct what he perceived as the problem, but thankfully thought better of it. After being given the runaround, he said that his install manager, Mike Bateman, would have to come out and figure it out. This went on for months, with the system failing inspection THREE times, due to safety issues; pipe was touching combustibles in several places and we were advised to not run the system until corrected. We have had five techs out (Chad, Mike Bateman, Jordan B, Deklin, and David), talked to five office staff, (Sequoia, Karley, Jordan, Merida, and Lacey), had to be available for four tech visits, four inspection appointments, and been unable to run our system during many cold nights. From the install on April 20, the system was finally cleared by the city inspector on November 17; SEVEN months later. During this time, we tried repeatedly to talk with someone in management. No matter when we called or who we spoke to, the answer was always that management was “out of town”. Sarah is the office manager, and we requested to talk to her on August 30; we still have not received a return call. Shane is the operations manager and after we insisted that we wanted the system removed, he finally called on November 10 with the attitude of “What do you want?”, and said that the inspector was being picky. All the women in the office are beyond rude, with the exception of Karley. She was the only helpful person in the entire organization. The techs are clueless, and management clearly does not care. When the techs showed up for the FOURTH time to correct the issue, they kept needing to borrow our tools, some without even asking! When we were at our wits end, we insisted on a refund and told them we would have another company remove the failed system and leave it by the curb. Still no one from management thought it necessary to call us. We were told by two techs and the Operations Manager, Shane, that our job was “not a priority, because it IS working”. However, we had been instructed by the inspector to not run the system, because it was unsafe. We are so over this company that despite prepaying for the service plan, we told them to cancel it and don’t bother coming back here. We will forfeit the money for that and instead go with a knowledgeable company who cares about their customers. Save yourself an immense headache and go with any other company!!

Called to question the recent installation of my American Standard A/C unit which was recently installed by Griffin A/C Systems. They sent someone within one hour of my call!! Excellent customer service!! Joe did a great job of testing the home temperature vs what my thermostat was reading. Everything checked out correctly. Thank you for such prompt service!

Eric Roenisch is a real professional. He came to our house, got right to work and explained everything he was doing. He repaired a line that had not been insulated during install and saved us a lot of money in drywall repair. He also recommended an additional filter box for my kids' asthma, which he installed like a champ. He is a complete BEAST!! Let me explain. Poor Eric screwed a 2 imch screw directly into his finger tip. We helped him get cleaned up and he was right back to work! He finished the job with his remaining 4 fingers and did it with a some!! Griffin should be proud to have such a hardcore pro working for them. Give this guy a raise!!Overall, our family's experience with Griffin has been very positive and they have always done top-notch work! They're not always the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for!

We are very pleased with Griffin, their staff, and customer service.

There were cheaper prices out there but we're ones who read people's reviews and Griffin Services had great ones. We definitely didn't want to go with some Joe Schmo who could be out of business next month and ultimately leave us with no warranty.Shane was the rep. who was very thorough in measuring the house so we got the proper size unit for our home. He explained the different options available to us with no pressure to over sell. This was one of the main reasons we chose to go with Griffin Services. Some of the others who we had give us quotes were like car salesmen who just rubbed us the wrong way.Dave was our installation technician who took the time to explain things as he was doing the job. Everything went in smoothly & works like a charm.We couldn't be happier with our new AC & have zero complaints on the install.We highly recommend Griffin Services.

You two were quite helpful and I appreciate your professionalism. However, when I called back to report continued leaking of the AC through my ceiling after the repair visit/part replacment, the representative was not personable and quick to tell me that they resolved the issue and I would be charged more fees because they replaced the part ($37 part for $300+). In trying to share with her what happened as the initial repair had to be rechecked and revised by a second repair visit, and different service technician (who shared that the 1st tech missed a valuable check in his assessment), she attempted to cut me off as I was speaking. I let her know she could CANCEL any appointment for my location and to have great day. I will NOT utilize this company. As a business professional, I uphold and appreciate great customer service. This was unnecessary sub par customer service and support. I will add when someone has taken initiative to patronize your business and solicit your services, you can be assured they are not doing so to be ignored and dismissed when calling to report further evidence that the repair may be flawed or perhaps something in the repair initiative was overlooked. I bid you adieu as I empty the water reservoir...again. AC still leaking...??‍♀️??‍♀️

I’m always pleased with the service we receive from Griffin. I called them to repair a leak under our kitchen sink and they came out same-day! Dustin and Ryan performed the work. Both were quick, efficient, and professional. There was no mess left behind. I’ll be calling Griffin for any heating or plumbing jobs I need!

BEWARE So I took off work the first day, they said emergencies came up and they needed to move it. Not a problem. Second time they said I’ll be “first call” 8-9am. No problem. Second day off work. I start calling at 930am. No one has called me, no one came. Throughout the day I’ve been hung up on, forwarded to voicemail, and finally told my appointment was rescheduled to 530. He comes at 530, quotes me 1.5k for a faucet repair and two sink stoppers. Took his $70 and ran.

Very quick response time. Quoted and installed in the same week. Comparable prices, very professional, knowledgeable, worked cleanly. Didn't feel pressured to buy more. Would def work with them again!!

My air-conditioning went out today. I called two other providers one who couldn’t come out until tomorrow evening and another they told me that it would be five days before they could make it out. Griffin was able to get a technician out within a couple of hours and my problem was solved and we have cool central air again. Thank you very much!

After speaking with him, there was just no denying how well he understood his profession. Very informative and helpful. Jim and Wes were very courteous and professional as well. The gentlemen that arrived to repair my plumbing were exceptional! However, I was basically given an 8 hour window, and had to sit at home all day waiting on them. They finally arrived around 5:30. I have no complaint about the technicians. They were entirely competent, professional and polite.

Came out in 30 minutes and replaced a burst water pipe. John was awesome. Knew his stuff. I wish all companies were as efficient as Griffin was. 5 stars. Highly recommend. Will keep in mind for future services!

Maybe it’s a small oversight but I didn’t appreciate it happening “TWICE” Start keeping your promises of a binding contract Griffin Services, we only want what we paid and signed for, we did our part, you should do yours. Fingers crossed they get better because the installation was great but afterwards, not so great when you have a issues.

I called Griffin Service on 9/5/19 to schedule preventative maintenance for our one-year-old tankless water heater. The lady that I spoke with said that I needed a flush/descale and the cost for the service was $149. I informed her that their website lists a $99 water heater tune-up special and that I received a $69 Anytime Tune-Up or Service Call for A/C or Plumbing flier in the mail. She put me on hold twice to confer with someone and then agreed to honor the $69 price and we scheduled the maintenance for the following day. When the technician arrived at my home, he told me that the cost of service was $178 and that the $69 was an ADDITIONAL FEE that he would generously waive due to the confusion.UPDATE on 9/10/19: After turning the technician away and leaving a less-than-stellar review, I was contacted by Griffin Services on 9/6/19 as they were interested in remedying the situation. They explained the root cause of the confusion (outsourced advertising that simply lacks plumbing industry savvy) and offered to perform the requested maintenance in exchange for a revised review because they genuinely value integrity and customer opinion. At first, I was taken aback by the offer, but proceeded with the maintenance as we had previously agreed that it was necessary. A technician came out on 9/10 and performed a flush of the water heater and reported a lot of sediment which he was able to remove.All in all, I am pleased with the service that I received from Griffin Service. In fact, I am MORE THAN PLEASED with their responsiveness and their focus on maintaining a good reputation. The initial confusion was due to outsourced advertising, but outsourcing doesn't absolve them from professional responsibility. That being said, their eagerness to make it right is why I decided to improve my initial review. Should I choose to use their services in the future, I hope to give them 5 stars.

Of course!! About to be the hottest week of the year and our AC goes out. Called 1st thing this morning. We have their Griffin annual service plan! Paid for itself today! Jamie walked in, turned on the thermostat and new exactly what it was. Fixed 20 minutes later if that. AC is running cool ? once again. Angie was the customer service rep. She was kind and sympathetic. I know she doesn’t have an easy job but you couldn’t tell it! Thank you both!!

Outstanding, Mr. Jimmy Cruz walked us through everything and explained everything in detail. Was very up front about the costs. Everything was through a software program so no made up numbers and no hidden costs. Next day service of this quality is very rare in my experience. Would definitely reuse and would recommend.

Griffin did a great job on installing our new A/C. Kyle E. was an absolute pleasure to work with he came out and gave us a few reasonable quotes w/ multiple options and worked with us on pricing. It is always hard when it comes to purchasing big items like this and we feel that Griffin Service was very fair w/ the pricing. As far as their product goes... WE LOVE OUR NEW A/C. What a difference and the two men who installed it were very polite, efficient, and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. We are very pleased with the service and will definitely be returning to them for future business.

Best service and experience I have ever had!! ? Joe was extremely kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend requesting him!! Before each step in the process, he took the time to thoroughly explain what he proposed to do and how much each thing would cost. He helped me to understand what was going on with my A/C and then taught me about all the options I could choose, so that I could make the best choice for my home and budget. Not only did he do all this, but he taught me a lot about A/C maintenance and showed me how to tilt the air vents so my family would feel the air better. They are GREAT. Amazing communication, workers and price!!! So good that I’ve used them 3x in a month to do things I’ve been putting off. First to install a new garbage disposal, then install a new kitchen sink and to do maintenance on my two AC units. The guy that came to do the AC maintenance did more then anybody has ever done before. Plus he explained what he was doing and gave me tips on how to make the system last and save money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The staff and service at Griffin are top notch. We had our AC from another company die after a hurricane and we needed a complete new system. Griffin was on the spot just after the storm which was amazing. Scott figured out our problem right away. Ben was very responsive and helpful with the sale of our new system and our install process was incredibly smooth. After the install service calls were perfect as well. We had a damper problem left over from the old system that had always been there (the old company could not figure this out). Scott and Joe came out, found the problem and had it fixed in no time. After experiencing this company and their staff for myself I can say for certain that the high ratings you see on Google don't lie. Griffin is the best!

I called Griffin Service the afternoon prior for a quote and they gave a great price in comparison to others. They were able to answer all my questions late that evening and had a team out the next morning. Very professional, honest and great service. I had a working AC within 4 hours. Another company told me I needed to replace my duct work and the Griffin inspector went in the Attic to check and said absolutely not, the other company was just trying to upsell. So glad I went with them!

OVERPRICED and NON-COMPASSIONATE! Don’t use Griffin Home Services LLC! This week, my shower developed a leak. As a single mom on a tight budget, I try to do repairs myself to save money. I bought an aftermarket Moen 1222 cartridge to repair the leak. I disassembled the shower head, fixture, and all of the hardware. I removed the bad cartridge and put in the new cartridge. The new cartridge just didn’t seat well. So, when I turned on the water, it was spraying everywhere. So, I needed a professional to help with a true Moen 1222 cartridge. I chose Griffin Home Services, LLC because they were local and they seemed honest, according to their reviews. I needed to save money on the service call, so I had everything disassembled and ready for a new cartridge. Literally, all Brenden had to do is bring a true Moen 1222 cartridge from his truck and pop it in…. that’s it. He came, and did just that. He even put on the invoice that the customer disassembled everything and all he did was put in a new cartridge. The bill was $259! Seems a lot steep for having the fixture and hardware all ready to just pop in a new cartridge. The next day, I got a call asking about my experience. I told the woman that Brenden was polite, professional and clean but I think he overcharged me… considering I did all of the work…. He even used MY Cartridge Puller! The rep told me that the cartridge was actually discounted $185 for me! Does that mean they usually charge $265 for that cartridge??!! Which would have made that service call $444 without that discount! I found that crazy since the Moen company actually sells that cartridge for $79.20. Their resolution was to offer me $50 off my next service with them! Are they crazy? I can’t afford to even dial their number on my phone if that’s how they hike fees up! BUYER BEWARE! This company is expensive, I told Brenden I was a single mom and that’s why I was trying to repair it myself. They have no compassion to do what’s right, nor make it right when they know they overcharged.RESPONSE: I DID contact you and your management team advised that I could have a $50 credit to go towards a future service call to Griffin Service or Griffin Home Services LLC.

We had appointment for maintenance and told us our options to correct the problem.. Gave us the cheapest to the best quality. Before each service came out Griffin sent out a profile of each Service representive that would be doing our services.We ended up getting best quality including air purification because i have Mold and really bad allergies.. We replaced the whole unit because our system was 9 years old.But very excellent care and on top of their services. I would recommend to others.The only thing was unsure about was why i wasnt able to getting financially loan through their company when a week later i was able to get a loan for over $9000.00 with excellent credit.So we ended up paying upfront for services.. after thinking about the plan.. i wish they would offer a maintenance plan for at least one year but otherwise it was excellent services..

John, the person who responded, was very comprehensive in reviewing the options. They also were very responsive. We contacted Griffin services after our air conditioner died a couple weeks after moving in and our warranty refused the claim. We weren't planning on replacing the system yet so price was a factor. That being said we also wanted a new system that would be an investment into our home and not something we just settled for.Griffen Services handled both. Not only were taking they cheaper than the other companies we had come give us estimates, we got a great system that we feel will improve our home for the life of the system.Also worth mentioning, they were amazingly thorough in their quote--measuring all our rooms, checking duct work, and all our vents. In the end we were presented with two great options both at a good price and calculated to ensure the system we installed would be able to handle the size of our home.In addition we were given a temporary machine to help keep us cool until they were able to install the new system.The two installers were great as well and me with some great tips on how I can keep my machine running efficiently. It was a great experience all around and I couldn't be happier with Griffin Services.

The last company we hired to come out failed to tell us the condition, show us the condition, and was in and out and on his way. Joe was thorough with the cleaning, inspection, and report. Joe spent an hour going through the air conditioner and assessing the maintenance needed, and then spent additional time to show and explain what he did and what he recommends for future visits. What a fantastic experience dealing with Wade, Darren, and Griffin Service! I had Wade come out a few months ago to provide estimates on several projects around the house. I had planned to wait a few months before starting, but decided to go ahead and buy the 5 yr service agreement due to the cost savings, and the support of military veterans that came with the deal. Just a few days later, I had a coil go out on one of my AC. It was a unit that was under recall, and Wade handled all the replacement paperwork for us. I decided to replace a unit that had been inoperative for 2 years at the same time, and Griffin gave us not only the best deal we could find on a new AC unit, but installed the warranty coil for no additional labor at the same time. Our Technician, Darren, was prompt and professional. He arrived at the agreed upon time, worked quickly and efficiently, and had everything required to do the job on hand. That was a welcome change from the last experience I had with another company, who left the premise 4 times to go get parts and supplies.Not only great service, well trained and professional technicians, and extremely fair and competitive pricing on quality products, but friendly and community service minded as well. After shopping around I entrusted Griffin service to provide us with an emergency installation. My professional salesman Shane was knowledgeable and was able to recommend me with what was needed to accommodate our home. We recently were having some issues and our AC wasn't keeping up, as well as needed some plumbing estimates to get a water softener bypassed. I contacted Kris with Griffin Service and was able to get an appointment for the next day. She was very friendly and accommodating! She made sure that all of my bases were covered as far as my needs. Automated messages were set up to confirm my appointment as well as sending me updates of who is on their way to my location as well as a photo of them.The next day Jake (a plumber) and Anthony (an HVAC tech) both arrived at separate scheduled times. Both were very knowledgeable and made sure to explain everything in detail. I received three detailed options/estimates on the plumbing work needed. I don't know about you, but I LOVE options! We ended up having a refrigerant leak and a new AC system was recommended. Griffin Service was able to get me on the line with a lender to get approved for financing for a new system. It was really quick and affordable. We opted to add a water heater as well since ours was rusting pretty badly and could be added to our financing.Since it was a whole system swap, they were not able to do the work same day, which is to be expected. They scheduled to come out two business days later (which was fine since our system was weak, but it was still working).Michael, David, and Jake all arrived when expected and got right to work! Very polite and informative, as well as understanding of my 5 year old hopping in their way from time to time. Our hot water and our AC is AMAZING now!! It's a bonus that it is all much more energy efficient so it's basically paying for itself! Very satisfied with Griffin Service from beginning to end and HIGHLY recommend them for any HVAC/Plumbing needs!

Regular maintenance of Rinnai water heater led to a repair and it took another visit by technicians, 3 at one point, to get system running again. After several hours Griffin tech Dustin resolved the problem.. Frustrating being with without hot water for a day problems resolved at no charge to me.

Called Griffin services and was able to get appointment for service by next day. Jordan arrived on time at beginning of appointment window and resolved issues. The price was reasonable and shared with me prior to completion of work. I like the fact that they give you carbon copy of agreement signed and email it for reference. Also - the fine print is HUGE so you know what you are signing. Will use them again. Price was fair and service quick. Our AC is working again and that is COOL.

I highly suggest Griffin Services! From scheduling with Samantha who was extremely accommodating to my schedule to Jordan B the technician who came out to service both my units.Jordan did a great job diagnosing our ac units. He was very professional and friendly. He provided me with all options but was honest in what he thought would be most beneficial. I appreciated his honesty.

First the good, I called them for same day service and they showed up in a couple of hours. Then they quoted a price, which I questioned. The technician told me quotes were not negotiable, stating that I don’t negotiate with Starbucks, why should I think his price is negotiable. I continued to try to determine why the price was much higher than I expected. He was not having it and I told him to go ahead and do the work, but it would probably end up with giving a bad review. He said oh no-you are threatening me with a bad review, I am packing up. I said okay, but it would probably still be a bad review. So, I called another plumber who came out same day and they did a wonderful job and charged me 65% of what Griffin quoted me. I now think he was so argumentative because he knew he was overcharging me. Buyer beware.

I use Griffin Service for my business's HVAC needs and couldn't recommend them enough. After really struggling with other local companies to even respond to us, let alone be willing to do a quarterly maintenance contract for our unit, we finally reached out to Griffin Service and I don't know why we didn't do it sooner. They had an appointment scheduled with us the next day and the tech who came out was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The fact that our neighboring business is literally an AC company and they couldn't even make us a priority speaks volume for the sense of urgency and attention to detail you'll get with Griffin Service. Call them today and don't look back!

****1 year update: While the initial experience was great, just shy of 1 year later, the system quit blowing cold air one day. A tech came next day and made some sort of temporary repair. The following Monday a different tech came and had to undo everything that was done and then said the system is working, which it was. 2 days later nothing but hot air from our $13000+ less than 1 year old system. Next tech showed up at 930pm on a Friday night and was here until 1130pm he had to refill the system with coolant and told me he had to come back on Monday to troubleshoot the leak (obviously there is a leak) No one contacted me Monday to schedule so I called Tuesday morning and he came out that afternoon to tell me it's still working so he can't troubleshoot it. Then wrote the ticket to say that I said that I didnt need service because it's working fine. A few days later I got another tech out who apologized for the poor service and assured me he would remedy the situation. He serviced the unit and with a half hour found the leak in the coil upstairs. Well almost a week later and still no coil and sitting here placing bets on how soon the ac is going to stop working again. So from my experience with them, once they have your money and they are working on warranted items you are much less important to them and not a priority. Just sharing my experience, yours may be different...Used them with recommendation from friends to replace an old broken A/c system. We did opt for their top of the line daikin fit systems so can't really comment on value or pricing, it wasn't cheap any way you look at it, but the system is great, crazy quiet and uses less energy. They brought portable ac units while we waited a couple of days for install, everything with install went smoothly and they even reached out afterwards to make sure it was working properly and that we were satisfied. Their maintenance plan is very affordable and the techs have always come during the scheduled window. I'm sure there are techs out there that will do stuff cheaper but I want it done right and use a company that will stand by their work. I would definitely recommend checking them out at least to anyone who needs their services. .

Called Griffin Services for a leak. There was a 24-hour response time, which is GREAT for a plumbing service. Steve showed up, in the rain, was gracious enough to use disposable foodies and not track up our floors (LOVE him for that)...He identified the issue within minutes, repaired it, showed us how to correct the problem if it were to happen again (loose screw) and didn't try to break the bank for the service. THANK YOU for a great experience!

Jimmy and Ryan (I believe) were friendly and professional! They got our plumbing working again, cleaned up the backup in the showers and provided us with tips to reduce the issue from happening in the future. They also provided us estimates on additional services we requested.

had a relatively simple job of unhooking a stuck gas line for a new gas dryer. I had to go pick up the dryer before hand and the tech actually waited for me to pick it up, unhooked the old one and helped me carry the new one up stairs. He wasn't super busy that day but he could have easily not done that and just unhook the old one. They also scheduled me with only 2 days notice. Would definitely use again.Thanks Pat!

Mike and Joe did a wonderful job. I had my dryer vents cleaned as well as my plenums replaced, fan cleaned, uv light installed, mold clean-up, vent adjustment, etc. They were both professional and courteous.Griffin Services as a whole is such and professional company I have already recommended them to three other people, two of which have already called! The company is up front and honest. I did not feel once that I was ‘being sold’ on anything I didn’t need. Sean is the first person we spoke with and he took the time to listen to what we were experiencing with our HVAC system, past experiences with other companies who tried to help us, and what we were hoping to achieve. Just received the first service from this company and the customer service was just phenomenal. You get so used to companies just showing up and looking a bit rough around the edges and they come in dressed very professionally and they cover their shoes with plastic as they walk in. The rap seem to be very knowledgeable in what he was talking about and explaining how my system worked and what he did to repair the issues at hand. He took his time to go through every single potential problem that could be happening and check it. If it needed fixing, he fixed it. I would highly recommend this company.

Scott was great. Our heating system stopped on 1/2/18 at 3:00 in the afternoon. Scott was there by 6:30 PM and stayed until everything was working. I called Griffin's 24/7 emergency service and within 2 hours Joey arrived. After a thorough exam he found corrected the problem. Joe was very professional and patiently explained what he was doing. I am going to have a maintenance contract with Griffin because of their prompt and professional response to out loss of A/C.I had my first service and it was top notch. Called Griffin to have them replace a garbage disposal and when plumber came out he quoted me $438 in labor alone. Had a different plumber come out the following day and had the work done for $160. Buyer Beware. This company tried to exploit me. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable plumbing company.

Our experience with Griffin Service has been excellent. Our A/C went out Saturday morning. We called several companies those that actually answered their phone said they could not get out until Monday or later. We called Griffin Service; they answered the phone and said they could have someone out Sunday at 8 am.Joe sent a text that he was on the way and sent a picture. He was here on time – 8am. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Unfortunately our unit was beyond repair and we would need a new one. Joe contacted his manager Shane.Shane came out that afternoon and went over our options. Shane was knowledgeable and did not pressure us in anyway. He gave us options and explained the differences, answered all our questions and was very upfront about what could be done and the cost. He even went up in the hot attic to check out the ducts. The installation was set up for Thursday but luckily he had a cancellation on Tuesday and got us in.David, Mike N and Wesley come Tuesday and installed the unit. Wesley came in first to relocate a duct in the attic, not a pleasant job but did it without hesitation. They were all very professional and polite. They cleaned up when done and answered all of our questions. We have used Griffin twice for AC and heating issues. They are by far the most pleasant and professional service provider I have worked with. The office staff is helpful and very polite. Shane and Wade called before arriving and arrived within the promised window. They were excellent at communicating what the issues were and how to fix them. John Tuthill was an extremely professional, kind, and down to earth plumber. I thought I was going to be a handyman myself and fix an outdoor leaky faucet, ended up busting the pipe. John came in, had it fixed in probably less than an hour. Very friendly and quality service. Very respectful of your home, and clean up well. Cost of repair was better than I expected. Extremely pleased.

The gentlemen who have worked in our home have been courteous and professional. It has taken a few service calls to get our new system installed, up, and running smoothly. Our only complaint is the often long wait time (sometimes 2-4 days) when we have had to schedule a technician. The perception that they give is an absolute lie, and to know how they conduct business I feel would only resonate to the way they treat customers after getting your money.In my opinion, their only goal is to dilute money and inflate prices on services that you can get elsewhere with a better experience and a lot better value.As you'll see in their response to this negative post. You'll see a 2 faced company that is masking themselves to be great. They'll even try to let you know their great by referring that they have a lot of happy customers, or good reviews..The major reasoning to this is a software that filters out negative reviews and only allows positive reviews to post.I'm writing this negative recommendation on Facebook simply because they cannot filter it out here.Whether this matters to you or not, I'd simply recommend taking a deeper look at this company, and decide if you want the ethics that you deserve as a customer.

I just moved to the area and my A/C went out after a couple of days. Since I didn’t have a service agreement it was a challenge to find a company to come out same day but Griffin fit me in. They offered a solution that had my air up and running in less than 2 hours. Joe and his helper were professional and pleasant. This experience won my business. I now have a service agreement and will talk with their plumbing group about repairs/upgrades that are needed at my house.

We just had Griffin Services visit our home to complete a maintenance job on our air conditioning units and to get a quote on a full duct cleaning. The technician Jordan was very helpful and polite. He explained all of the service options available in full and didn't oversell to me which would have made me very uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend.

22 Aug 19Had an issue with our main unit thermostat shutting down, so I called in the issue. Valerie got me on the schedule for later in the day, and Scott called and showed up pretty quick! Very friendly professional guy, which I’ve come to expect from Griffin techs. I was seemingly able to resolve the issue myself beforehand, but Scott still did an all over ops check on the system as the expert just to be doubly sure, and we’re good! Still happy with Griffin a year later and definitely don’t plan on going with anyone else.2 Nov 2018I’ve had the opportunity to use Griffin 3 times now. Once for a new home service to check and service the existing units and another time to assess my ducts and see about making two units into one. Service and communication was top notch both times (which is absolute key and of utmost importance to customers). I knew when the guys would be here, what to expect and got everything I needed and all questions answered. House was thoroughly checked from top to bottom so they knew what was what since houses are different from one to the next.The third time was to explore a relocation of existing units. Starting with (Kyle?) when I called who’s always friendly and helpful, and got me scheduled for a consult that day, to Ben who let me know precisely when he’d arrive. Ben arrived and re-assessed the house, figured out where we were at and what we wanted, then kicked around different options. He answered all questions and gave us the time we needed to explore a possible $10K+ decision. We settled high on doing a complete relocation/new install.A couple days later the guys arrived when I was told they would for a two day job and went right to work. They were always courteous, professional, worked hard, never stopping, and did things pretty meticulously step by step and how I wanted and would expect, and answered any questions I had here and there. In the meantime, Ben would stop by and other times just check in with me; any questions that came up were always answered instantaneously, and a couple minor changes I asked for happened without any problem. The guys wrapped up late on the 2nd day; things cleaned up and left no loose ends. Definitely happy with the job, all communication and questions that got answered thoroughly and resolved instantly from the first phone call to job completion, getting me what I needed when good options were slim, Griffins service overall...and I continue to feel confident I am and will be taken care of for years to come.

I gave Griffin Services a call at 5pm, it was 92 degrees in my house when I got home from work . Joe came out to make the repairs. He went through the steps to figure out what the issue was. Once he figured out the issue he made the repairs. I am very thankful he took the time and looked at it, other then just saying i need a new unit. I'm not sure what time he made it to my house but I do remember that is was 10 pm when he left. I have a family of 4 kids, one is a baby. Thank you Joe for looking at my a/c unit,making the repairs, and getting it back up and running. Most of all thank you for being Professionaland not just saying I need a new unit !!!

I would not have left this review had they not threatened us with an email that we are prohibited from leaving a bad review in order to receive our money back, after no services were performed and they completely wasted our time in the cold winter months here in Jax. Not an apology for messing up our service from start to end, but a threatening letter to keep our money hostage, money that they didn't earn?!2 stars because they came out last minute on a weekend and did help the issue, otherwise a zero star here would be appropriate.We were explained the maintenance plan we signed up to when the tech came out to help on the weekend.The tech took the money, said we would be contacted shortly in the week, we were not contacted. I called and asked for the maintenance, after much looking, they found us in the system and booked us for that Friday. The tech made a note of the filter we need for this basic maintenance and assured us it would be there on hand when the maintenance would be performed.We waited all day Friday and no call, I looked at the email they sent me, and realized it was addressed to a different person all together. I called and asked if they are coming, they had to pull out another tech to come on site from another job. Before he got here we texted the new tech to make sure he comes with the part in hand, and he did not respond at all until he showed up at our door in a foul mood. We explained to him what had happened and he only bad mouthed the original tech and gave my wife attitude and said he will have someone else come with this part.We called McGowen, and had excellent service from the start to finish.

It is rare to find a business as responsive and customer focused. I was fortunate to get the assistance of Joe and while he had a full day was willing to handle my repair needs same day. Totally pleased and happy to recommend to anyone with AC or heating needs.

So I recently got a brand new Amana AC and Heating unit from Griffin AC and it's been a wonderful new unit! Michael came out at first and inspected my old one that was over ten years old, told me the problems and after meeting up with Kyle (Very friendly guy!) was able to get financing options and found about the different options that would be good for my Condo. He gave good suggestions without pushing for something way more than I needed and provided the benefits of different systems, even letting me know about a nice JEA rebate too. I've been very happy with the system. Michael and Jordan came out on a Monday to get the system installed, installed new copper, and had the thing done in good time. They cleaned up well after themselves and laid down cloth so they wouldn't even make a mess of the rug. Both of them were super friendly and informative and helped make sure everything was right. They've come out since to check that everything was working on a followup visit and even changed out the breakers to the right type for the units. Very professional and very nice guys all around. Highly recommend Griffin AC for very courteous, friendly, Professional, and great service people. Thank you for your great service and me having a nice cool home once again!Also Billy has come for my six month service and such, really nice guy too and friendly and prompt indeed! I also just learned Griffin does plumbing too, which is something I need.

The handle to our washing machine hot water supply broke off and water was flowing. We turned off the main water supply to the house. Griffin came the same day we called and fixed the plumbing and now I can use my new washing machine. Other plumbers said it would be days. They were awesome!

I am not one to be negative or write poor reviews but our all around experience was absolutely awful! We have never had such a horrible experience and for what we paid the service we received was even worse. They over charge, seem to be in a rush to get done, and you have to provide your own parts or they will charge you triple for what part actually costs. I spoke with a lady to try and resolve the issue and she offered me a 25$ Walmart gift card and then I never heard back from her after my response. Stay away!!!!!! I still get mad when I think about the experience we had with this company! A small fix that took 10 minutes cost us over 400$. Never again!!!!

After my 5 year old AC unit had a massive leak in the coil, I decided I did not want to replace a bad coil with a replacement coil that could only be replaced by an OEM coil that would take 1 week to get and that may fail within 5 years. So I opted to replace the whole unit. Process could not have gone smoother. Install team was on time and completed the job timely. Fantastic service.

Needed our ducts cleaned. Called locally and received outrageous quotes... tried a little further out and found Griffin Service. Quoted the same job $200 less than others AND could get out the next day. The company texts you a picture and short bio of your tech when they are en route. Billy was our tech, showed up, spent 5 hours cleaning and servicing the unit, then was on his way. Paid over the phone. He even insisted if we had concerns to call him. Very easy, smooth, and friendly company. In a community full of competition for this kind of stuff, this is what's needed to earn my business!

Awesome honest employees and excellent customer service. Shane was my salesman. He was excellent at explaining all the equipment and details. He asked to view all our existing equipment and even asked to go up into the attic. There he found the problem. We had a large hole in the ductwork. He actually patched the hole for us and our house cooled down immediately. We were so impressed with the honesty that we decided to go ahead and replace our system with a newer more efficient unit since our existing unit was a 2003. Our installers were Dave and Wes who were so polite and professional. They repaired the defective ductwork and took pictures to show us. They check all the seams for any leaks. They vacuumed and cleaned the closet that housed the old unit prior to installing the new system. We are very pleased with our new 2 stage system. It is much more quiet and cools so much better than our old system. Griffin Services also included a hurricane pad and registered the warranty information for us. I recommend them highly. Once again this is why you dont need Griffin. Called to get a ballpark estimate on replacing a shower faucet for a newly remodeled bathroom. They insisted someone needed to come look and quote me. Knowing there is a min $60 fee but it would be taken off if they did the work. Well in 5 minutes the gentlemen told me what I already knew and quoted $664 to replace a $35 dollar part and 30 maybe 45 minutes of labor. I said no way but payed the $60. Called office and talked to Barbara about pricing and paying for literally nothing . She basically said too bad have a nice day. I'm replacing my AC soon and would have inquired with them about that job but after being ripped off today no thanks.

I called Griffin last week to get some information about duct/vent cleaning.Shane Olsen came the next day early in the morning. I was very impressed with his professional, intelligence and really good communication about duct cleaning/vent cleaning, how my a/c works, and other information about my air conditioner which I never knew before.He is the most professional air conditioning person I have spoken to and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone needing assistance with their air conditioner.Joe came a few days later to clean the vents/ducts. He worked very hard and was very courteous.

Griffin did not follow through on scheduled appointment, saying they had a policy that the business owner had to call directly or they wouldn't come out. The business owner pays me, the general manager, to handle such things, and I've never had any problem before. I think the tech just didn't want to do it, so they made up a ridiculous policy. Called someone else.

We recently had our ducts cleaned by Griffin Service as well as having an electronic air cleaner and new thermostat. They were very professional and we had outstanding service. This was absolutely the best service experience I've had since moving to Jacksonville 4 years ago! My heat went out at 6:30am, I called at 7:30, and was able to get a same day appointment (hard freeze warning for the next 36 hours, so this was huge!) I received a call when the Wade was about 30 minutes out. He asked me if I needed him to pick up anything on the way (coffee/lunch/etc) so that I wouldn't have to go out on the cold. This is above and beyond customer service! Once he got here, he walked me through the process, made everything super simple and after a quick review showed me pictures of the issues and gave me a very comprehensive explanation for next steps. The unit is 17 years old, so he gave me a great quote on a full replace and cleaning as well. I will definitely be calling them back in the next month or so to replace the HVAC system. While no one wants to have to call a repair service out to their home, this has truly been a great experience, and I will highly recommend these guys to anyone who asks (and even those that don't!)
