Best Water Heater Replacement in Indianapolis IN

I'm a Hope plumbing member with an older rental home in broad ripple. I was informed by my tenant that there was standing black water next to the drain in the basement. They were able to come out the next day to snake the mainline as they have before. I do have roots in my line due to trees that we not cut down till last year. I was told that my line could not be cleared and I have no other option than to dig. I called another company for a second opinion and they had the line opened in less than a hour with a hydro jet from my basement cleanout. They then cleared the line of all roots and confirmed on video that my line is in very good condition considering the age. Also I should add, they charged my full price save my 10% member discount even though and they could not unclog the drain. They were professional per usual and helped cap an open drain.

This was my first experience with a plumber, but I've had work done by carpenters and electricians and I found the price of Carter's too high for my liking.

All said, my bill came to $564 to run 5ft from an existing gas line and extend it through the floor for a stove hookup. Total time working was around 1.5 hours, with a 30 minute run to the supply house for something that was missing.

There was a $70 service charge just to come out, plus a $98 fee since my house is on a crawl. My crawl space is clean, with easy access and the pipe in question was only a few feet from the entrance. While I understand the plumber works from a flat pricing grid, this seemed a bit unreasonable to me.

In terms of professionalism, the plumber showed up when he said he would, acted professionally while at the house, and the work seems to be done well. I feel like I overpaid for the work, but I needed the job done and it got finished.

I am sure my experience could have been worse, but I will shop around next time before committing to service.

On a Sunday night my tub faucet decided not to turn off. I called L.D. Plumbing the following morning and they were able to get a plumber to me on that same day. I ended up having them install a new shower/tub trim kit instead of repairing the old one. My plumber was Joe and he was professional, knowledgeable and arrived on time. And his clean-up after the job was completed was Fantabulous! Thanks L.D. Plumbing!

Very pleased with my experience with Bob the Plumber. Arrived on time. Solved my issue. Price ended up being less than the initial estimate as the work required became less in scope. (It's not always going to work out like that, but it is nice when you feel you just received fair treatment.) Straight shooter and a nice guy.

I think Hamm & Sons is a really good plumber. Our whole family lives in Indianapolis and have used them for years. They are very honest and friendly and you dont get that feeling that they are trying to trick or overcharge you that you get with some home service companies.

We will definitely keep using Hamm & Sons Plumbing when we need repairs.

My bathtub faucet will let water out after it is turned off, steg says it is the design of this product.
1.what company will design this kind of faucet?
2. steg, you are not the designer/manufacturer of the faucet, how you can say that issue is the design of the product.
I would say it is a defective product or your poor installation.

Floyd Crenshaw was our tech. He was professional, explained in detail what the problem was and fixed it quickly,we bought a service contract as he also showed us how to save on future purchases. We are very satisfied with. His promptness and fresh friendly service. When we upgrade further in the near future we would like him as our tech. He was excellent.

I called them about a busted water heater. They came out the same day and were almost half the price of the other quote I had received. I would definitely recommend them.

I called and they were able to get someone out within 2 hours and didn’t even charge any additional emergancy fees to clear my drain. I had been trying to clear my drain myself for about a week and could NOT get my auger past this 90 degree turn. Paul came out and he was SO professional and helpful. He tried for a solid hour and couldn’t get it clear and just when we were about to give up he stuck his hand in. What did he find? A TINY RUBBER DUCKY MY TODDLER SHOVED DOWN THE DRAIN. He was able to get it out and because of his dedication I didn’t have to get the whole cast iron pipe cut off and replaced. 12/10 would recommend every time.
