I had a great experience with Hope Plumbing. I had an issue with the Sump in my basement. They were able to get me on the schedule same day! Casey was my plumber and he had all of my issues fixed in the matter of a few hours. I really appreciated that he walked me through what the multiple solutions would look and did immediately not try to sell us on the most expensive option. We had a sudden water heater leak. Called To Rooter on a Friday afternoon, Alex came out the same day. He diagnosed the problem, ordered a new water heater and installed it for us the next day. He was kind and courteous throughout and we are back in business with hot water in less than 24 hours. Thank you Alex!

Called for a clogged sewer drain on Sunday. Hamm's drain person showed up in a timely fashion and spent 2 hours cleaning roots out of the sewer drain. Professional, courteous, friendly, and above all very skilled.Fee charged was very reasonable, particularly for Sunday service/

I've used Godby numerous times over the years and have always been pleased with their professional service. Most recently, the compressor failed on my heat pump, and despite their busy schedule, the staff went out of their way to make sure their on call technician spoke to me by phone that evening. Joe insisted on coming out the next day to see if there was any resolution during this weekend of severe temperatures. While the unit couldn't be salvaged, I was grateful for the quick response and great customer service from the entire team.

This one-star review is based solely upon the unresponsiveness and deceit of the co-owner of the company, Chase. It is not an indictment against any other employees, and in fact, Andrew was very respectful and I wish him the best.The first day, everything went great. We had a piping repair done, and had our water heater replaced and a water softener installed, and everything was nearly completed the first day. And that's when Chase went off the grid, and would only respond to me when I threatened to leave a bad review of the company. He deceived me about shipping me a product I was owed for MONTHS, and when I finally confronted it with him head on, he couldn't offer a valid explanation. In addition, it took hounding to get him to come back out and insulate the water softener pipes that he didn't have insulation for the day of the install (which he assured me on Day 1 he'd be back soon to take care of)In addition, he doesn't stand behind his work. He installed heat tape around a pipe that was freezing up and told me to seal the drywall up (and told me he'd give me a recommendation for a drywaller on Day 1, which I asked him for several times and he finally said he didn't have). I did so, and in less than a year, the pipe had frozen again. He had installed it into a HEATIT Thermostatically Controlled Outlet, which I didn't think anything of because I'm not a plumber...until the first freeze when the water overflowed down my replaced drywall and flooded my laundry room floor. After thinking about it, that was a faulty install, because it was on the outside of the drywall he told me to replace, and the heat tape was on the inside where it was much colder than room temperature (so the heat tape wasn't kicking on because it was plugged into the outlet, which was reading room temperature). So I took out the outlet and began plugging the heat tape in in advance during below freezing days when I needed to do laundry. Eventually, it overflowed again and he sent Andrew out. I told Andrew I didn't want to pay to repair the drywall again because it had to be done at an angle and cost $200, and there was clearly an issue with the install due to repeat freezing, and Andrew called Chase to address how to proceed. Chase told Andrew that he told me I wasn't supposed to seal the drywall up, which is not only false, but would make no sense because I'd have a draft coming into my house. The conversation escalated when he said he couldn't be held liable for drywall work around a frozen pipe off a garage, because my laundry room is on the opposite side of the house, connected to my kitchen. It's not in some unheated area, which he was implying. And when I told him so and asked him if he'd like to speak to Andrew to confirm it, he said he didn't appreciate my tone. So I gave him a piece of my mind and told him I'd leave the rest of what I had to say in a review of the business. And that's the reason for this one-star review.

While I was satisfied with the overall service there was one thing I didn't like. When the plumber asked if it was ok if he cut a small hole in the textured drywall ceiling of the laundry closet to run his camera and view the dryer vent I said sure, no problem. If I had known beforehand that he wasn't going to do anything to patch the hole after he was done my answer would have been different. So I now have a hole that's 2-3 inches by 2-3 inches in the ceiling of my laundry closet that will let in any type of critter that wants to come in and I, being a first time homeowner, have no knowledge of how to do any kind of drywall patching to fix the issue.

We needed a water heater replacement and we were able to get someone from 24-7 Plumbing to our house the same day we called. There were some nuances to our installation, and the team at 24-7 Plumbing worked very hard to make sure we were satisfied. They are professional, efficient, and willing to be flexible when requested. We will definitely call them again!

Well at least they showed up. Cause last night they didn’t. Needed two issues fixed and they left without even looking at my leaking drain from my tub into my basement and they did unclogged the kitchen drain at least, I guess I a got one done but still have my leak on that , Ohh boy. Make your own opinion from what I experienced. Nice guys friend and respectful. Just not happy about still having a leaking issue.

Matt and Jarred came out late in the evening and did a great job cleaning out my drain which was backing up. They were respectful and informative. They were very courteous. I highly recommend them!

About a year ago, my home had issues with tree roots in our pipes. I had been quoted by another company that our repair would likely run about $13,000 and we would be without water for a week. I wanted to get a second opinion, and am SO GLAD that I called Curt and Jerry's for that opinion. They were so professional, direct, and honest.
I spoke first with a woman, who asked specific questions related to my issue and was up-front about the potential limitations of their service, should my problem be larger than what their company specialized in. She was kind, communicative, and quoted me an accurate timeframe. She explained the way their service differed from others, and explained how they would help resolve me issue.
When the plumbers/technicians/folks arrived, they were quick, professional, and knowledgeable.
My drainage issue was resolved for a Fraction of the cost I had originally been quoted. and so much more expediently than if I had gone with another company.
*I will mention that the folks who came to home weren't particularly 'friendly', but were certainly professional. The only reason I mention that is so that anyone who may use this company wouldn't be put off, or doubt their abilities. It by no means bothered me; being charming doesn't mean one is a more honest or competent tradesperson.*

I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone. My issue took place nearly a year ago, and I just felt compelled to contribute to their positive ratings.

Electrical maintenance. Jake replaced my hot water heater and he was professional and explained everything to me. He was very polite. Today coldToday Cole came and did a maintenance check on my electrical. He was very thorough he even helped me I had surgery on my hand couldn’t open this one thing he opened it for me replace it on something else he went the extra mile. This was the first and will be the last time we use Roto-Rooter Plumbing. We had a leaking drain pipe and leaking water pipe in our guest bathroom. The initial Roto-Rooter employee that assess if water damage has occurred told me this fix was “an easy fix.” I had already bought one of the needed parts but was not confident in replacing it myself. The plumber had quoted me $356 to fix the leaking problem. He approached me after an hour saying that there was another part that needed to be replaced and it would be another $100 plus the price of the part to fix it. He quickly jumped down to $50 plus the part to installing the new piece for free if I paid for the part. The plumber was gone for an hour and a half getting the part even though multiple home improvements stores are within 20 minutes or less. The plumber replaced the part, did not turn the hot water back on, nor verified that all of the leaks had stopped. Another plumber from Roto-Rooter had to come repair what he should have done the first time. An “easy fix” turned into a 4 hour debacle. If you want to be priced gouged, then Roto-Rooter is the company for you!

We just had a new gas line and water heater installed by some really great people at best indy. They are really knowledgeable and professional. We will use them for any of our future needs.
