I had a hot water issue and Tyler can in and was able to fix it right away. Tyler is very excellent and clean worker. I will always call on Tyler to fix my plumbing issue.. Hope plumbing is awesome..

Professional staff, and affordable price

John came out on time, was very professional and looked for the source of our leak. We will still need a specialist to find the leak in the slab but John was nice enough to not charge us for the visit and recommended the specialist.We would love to have him come back to do the repair once we get the report. Excellent experience all around.John is excellent! He came back to ensure the information from the leak detection specialists made sense based on the layout of our home. He’s very knowledgeable and is very thorough in examining all possible situations. He is familiar with the home builder (our house was built in the 1960s) and was able to give insight on fixing our slab leak so we have a long term solution. He even spoke with the leak detection technician to clarify their report findings. On top of all of that, he’s a very personable guy. He’s made a stressful situation much more bearable with his insight and patience.

I love these guys. They’ve bailed me out of multiple jams the last few years and always affordable.

Phil was very prompt, courteous and professional. Within a short time, he had our drain cleared, and he made recommendations for maintenance. I can highly recommend Phil and would not hesitate to use him again.

Plumb Doctor backs up their guarantees on work. Six months ago they replaced our sump pump. The home warranty company, that they no longer do business with, would only cover part of the repair. They recommended work to be done, but it would be at additional cost. We trusted them and they did good work.

Flash forward six months and our sump pump broke down, but was under manufacturer warranty as well as workmanship. We quickly found out that Plumb Doctor was no longer doing business with that particular home warranty company and the initial discussion was one around that company being responsible. We had also stopped doing business with that home warranty company because of poor service and experience so, we were worried this would be a problem. However, we had the recommended extra work done and paid for it. This is where Jaimie from Plumb Doctor was amazing. She conveyed our story and situation to her bosses and staff as well as kept open communication with me. This was extremely important considering my basement was about to flood all over again.

So, within a short period of time Jaimie arranged for Ricky to be at our house that afternoon. Ricky found the primary pump had failed, replaced it on the spot and fixed a leaking pipe. Plumb Doctor was responsive. They were considerate of our situation and time. Finally, they backed up their guarantee on work.

I called Acme around 9:30pm on a Friday night because my septic was backing up into my house. The lady I talked with took my information and sent it out to one of their service technicians and within 5 minutes he called me saying there were no empty trucks and he didn't know if he could get to my house untilearly. Saturday morning about 8 o'clock he called again saying he just dumped and was heading my way. Arrived in 45 minutes or less. Drivers name was Michael and I tell you what, I've never seen someone so polite, informative, and willing to help any way possible. Some things didn't go his way with my riser and something got broke and he was so worried about it even after I told him several times not to worry because I was putting a new one on anyways. He even offered a couple if times to provide new parts cause he didn't want me to be put out or anything. Once again I declined and told him it really wasn't a big deal because as I told him earlier, I was putting new on anyways. I paid my bill, he left and I went to run around town. Got home a few hours later and that dude had brought me all the brand new stuff I needed for my new riser and left it by my garage, no charge. I called to thank him and again tell him he didn't have to do that. He just said he didn't feel right leaving me like that knowing I couldn't get my new parts till Monday.

I've never had a better experience with a company and especially with an individual employee. You don't find people like that anymore so I wanted to share. I will call them for any septic system need.

Michael is the type of guy you hope to work and deal with in any type of company no matter if it's home service needs or even someone working in a grocery store. Gave me a little faith in humanity with the screwed up world we live in these days and all the POS people wandering around.

Bob was at my house less than two hours after I called him. I had what could potentially have been an expensive problem. Bob found a way to get the job done without going the more expensive route. Great work, reasonable rates, friendly guy. I can't recommend him highly enough.

We hired Hamm & Sons to help out with a commercial remodel here in Lawrence. Yesterday was their first day on the project and I will say the guys showed up on time and were very professional and knowledgeable. Our water heater decided to go while I was out of town. The Steg Team was there the next day with a good solution for our home. We also had a pipe leak in our ceiling which they repaired while they were there. The were pleasant and responsive. I highly recommend Steg Plumbing!

Both of the installation technicians were professional and educated me with my new water heater. I called the company back saying I wanted to move forward with the estimate they gave me a week prior and they were able to install my new water heater that same day. Great service.

I got the maintenance deal with Summer's and had my a/c checked in the summer. It was running fine but the condenser made a loud thump noise when it would shut off. They, I can't remember their names, said something was going on with freon levels. Had a price to fix it. Also suggested maybe it was time to replace. It's no more than 6 years old and I've only been in the house for a year. I had them listen to the thump sound but with them ready to go, I forgot and so did they. I know I should have reminded them but I was so surprised they said a new a/c could be needed, I forgot. It worked great the rest of the summer.Had Miguel to check out the furnace as per the maintenance contract and things look fine. Miguel is a great young man, very personable and didn't push a sales. I'm not sure if I will stay with Summer's right now. The next appt is scheduled but I have 8 months to decide. If I do, it will be because of Miguel.
