Mike replaced p-trap and line plus ran a new line for the ice maker on the refrigerator. Was done in less than an hour.

After dealing with a national big box plumbing chain last week, I contacted Hamm & Sons, Inc. Ended up being an A+ service from the office personnel that contacted me to let me know when the plumber was on his way to the work that was performed. The plumber, Ryan, was very courteous with answering our many questions and ensuring that he wore boot covers to keep the floor clean. The price is right in line with the industry, and they were quick with the work, which is good for the consumer. Will definitely be using this company again for our future plumbing needs.

**Go elsewhere if you have a home warranty, or will need any form of documentation for warranty or insurance needs!!!!!! They WILL refuse.My husband and I have used Howald a few times over the years, in both our previous home and our current home. The reason that they are receiving two stars is because until now we had not experienced any issues.Yesterday our A/C went out. As usual, when we had an issue we called Howald. They came out today, and the technician James was great. He replaced a part that was malfunctioning, cleaned off our unit, and talked through our options over time as our unit likely was near the end of it's life. We didn't want to refill the refridgerant yet because it was going to be very expensive, and wanted to call our home warranty company. James has mentioned that they don't work with warranty companies as a policy, which I didn't realize was going to be an issue as we were going to pay out of pocket and submit for reimbursement.I called Howald back, not 20 minutes after the technician had left our home. They said that they refused to speak with my warranty company to answer their questions, and also wouldn't be able to provide me with any documentation about my service or needs without coming back out and charging me again. I simply needed a sheet of paper answering a few questions about what they just looked at on my A/C. My warranty company attempted to call for me, and they still refused.We would have given them likely $1000's in more business for the convience of speaking with the warranty company OR providing me with documentation of their visit. And we're out 100's more dollars than need be.

Everything went as expected, Ryan did an outstanding job.

Called them when commercial water heater went out at one of our busier restaurant properties and they came in and had the tenant back running in 24hours. Thanks Jake.

Unprofessional office with unqualified workers in my experience. Don’t give any underground jobs like sewer or water line repairs to them. They took a lot of shortcuts that ended up costing me more to repair a second time with a different company.

Told me I didnt have a leak and needed a new water softener, which they sold me. 2 weeks later, no hot water. Came back out and said I had a leak. Leak detection tells me that I had the leak all along and that I didnt need a new water heater.

Professional & polite. He came on time and was kind the whole time.

Had a mask on already and didnt have to ask him to put one on.

Great experience will hire again.

Mike came to look at our water softener to see if the line lead to our dishwasher as our glasses were coming out cloudy. After confirming it did, he tested our water and it is being softened. He recommended using a different detergent and to our pleasant surprise, told us no charge as he was in the area anyway. I have an upcoming bathroom remodel project coming up and will definitely schedule Mike to help do some of the work... But this time he will get paid!

This company is WONDERFUL! Everyone from the lady that answered my call, Joshua that gave me the proposal, to Jacob and his assistant, they were great. I didn't know what to expect because I have replaced previous water heaters, when I was younger. Everyone was prompt, courteous and respectful. I really didn't expect anyone to be out until the next day. They were out within hours, and installed within hours. Thank you very much!!

Jason was very polite, on time, fixed my bathroom shower that has not worked in few months. Other plumbers and handyman could not diagnose the problem and wanted to replace the entire shower valve assembly charging $500.

Jason was the one and only plumber to accurately diagnose the Tuscany (Menards brand) shower valve cartridge adjustment; it took him only 5 minutes to have the shower running without replacing any parts.

Simultaneously, he checked two other problems with hose bib and kitchen faucet and gave diagnosis without charging extra.

Had a very good experience with Northern all the way around. I have trusted them with my HVAC maintenance ever since I bought my house. I just went through an overhaul installation project to get all new HVAC and water heater systems. The sales team was very open to hearing my requests and worked around my budget well, with good follow up during the project. The team performing the install were timely, not interruptive of my daily routine as I worked from home, and did not finish the work day until they made sure my furnace was working. Definitely consider Northern with your HVAC needs.
