The Final Touch

Had Sears home warranty and Final Touch was the contractor for my plumbing job. They fixed the dripping faucet (replaced faucet) once replaced now I have a leak under my sink. They don't want to fix. The sink wasn't leaking prior to faucet replacement. Poor customer service.

Jason was very polite, on time, fixed my bathroom shower that has not worked in few months. Other plumbers and handyman could not diagnose the problem and wanted to replace the entire shower valve assembly charging $500.

Jason was the one and only plumber to accurately diagnose the Tuscany (Menards brand) shower valve cartridge adjustment; it took him only 5 minutes to have the shower running without replacing any parts.

Simultaneously, he checked two other problems with hose bib and kitchen faucet and gave diagnosis without charging extra.

My home warranty contracted The Final Touch to replace my water heater. Jason communicated well and did all he could to replace the unit as quickly as possible. He was polite and professional and I am very pleased with the service .

We were put in contact with Final Touch through our home warranty company. The issue at hand extended beyond our home warranty coverage, so we hired them directly. The issue was fried original wiring in a house built in 1955, and fried heating elements in our water heater. Multiple visits were involved due to the home warranty element of the situation (this was no fault whatsoever of Final Touch's) and due to the fried wiring not being readily apparent at first. Each visit was quick; it's clear Jason really knows what he's doing. And he was really patient with my texting him a lot to set up what was ultimately the final visit to address our lack of hot water. Even that last visit, where he had to cut a hole in the ceiling of our garage to access the fried wiring, was done in under an hour. Jason even patched the hole in drywall before he left. (This was especially appreciated as we currently have a million home improvement projects in the works, and now this will be one fewer thing to worry about!) We finally have hot water again thanks to Final Touch!

My home warranty company dispatched The Final Touch company for a plumbing issue in my basement. I had no cold water coming from my bathtub/shower. The original appointment was set for a Tuesday however they called the Friday before saying they could be at my house in 20 minutes. Great! Cameron showed up and attempted to assess the issue. He was on the phone consulting someone else for most of his time. Long story short, they advised I needed a new valve body and said I’d be responsible for removing my tub/shower so they can gain access. (As well as putting it back afterwards). I should also mention , that after he finished with his diagnosis, he put the tub/shower fixture back on incorrectly leaving a gap between the wall plate and knob. That didn’t sound correct to me and I looked up online afterwards if their company were actually licensed plumbers. I couldn't find anything other than a general contractor’s license to generate their company’s name (basically if you pay $250, have liability insurance and workers comp) and you can become a “general contractor”. (handyman basically, IMO). I decided to call a local licensed plumber as a 2nd opinion and he diagnosed the issue immediately.(balancer cartridge). The cartridge was $65 and took 5 minutes to replace. No tearing out of my bathroom as suggested by this company. I’m happy I went with my gut and hired a licensed plumber but had I listened to The Final Touch , I’d be out $1000’s for tearing out and replacing a tub/shower that did not need replaced . - morale of the story - check the licensing to make sure companies are qualified to do the work they say they can do

There were a leak on my ceiling Jason checked my upstairs bathroom and detect the problem immediately and fixed it quickly Jason is professional and I will recommend him to my friend and family members

Jason was very helpful before he even came out to my house! He got here in the time window that was provided and called me when he was on his way. He was very professional and of the job done quickly! He replaced the bathroom exhaust fan and even explained what my home warranty company would and wouldnt pay for ahead of time so that I wouldn’t be surprised later. I will definitely be using their services again!

Highly recommend. My home warranty company contracts with Final Touch and I’ve been able to get them for 3 different repairs. Each time they were prompt, friendly, and professional. They also talk to me like a homeowner instead of asking me some version of is my husband home. Most recently, I was discussing some possible work I wanted done and Jason gave me advice that made the work unnecessary, which means he will get all my work in the future.

They have great service! Marvin came by and fixed our water heater. He was very knowledgeable and helped us understand what was wrong. He gave us information on how to prevent it in the future and was a nice guy. Would definitely recommend The Final Touch.

Jason was on time and did a phenomenal job at getting my stubborn shower fixture together! Can't go wrong!
