Dan the mold dog did mold removal and sealed up the attic and my crawl space. He and his assistant seem to do a good job, they worked on a very hot day in the attic and appeared to be working very hard to complete the job on time. Would recommend.

The crew did a good job and Dan was very courteous and thoughtful about working in and around the house. The office and work crew both need to work on communicating with homeowner. They were slow or didn't respond to many requests regarding the job scheduling. The crew was very late starting one day and we didn't get any phone call, etc. however they did complete the work on time as promised.

Daniel, DDog, did an excellent job cleaning out my crawl, treating for potential mold, repairing anything above and beyond and replacing a vapor barrier. He also was friendly and kind and provided suggestions for future homeowner preventative maintenance.Daniel explained everything he was doing each step of the way and provided pictures of before and after. I’m feel confident the crawl space is in excellent condition. He actually dropped everything he was doing to help me move a couple pieces of furniture.

We referred to Indiana Residential who uses Mold Dogs for our crawl space mold remediation. They were very thorough and showed me pictures of the completed project. It looks so much better down there!

In addition, we just moved in the house and we were having trouble finding the septic clean out. I asked if while they were down there if they could keep an eye out and take a picture for me of the clean out if they found it. The person I spoke with happily helped me out!

I had Indiana Residential's Mold Dogs come to eradicate some mold and put a vapor barrier down in my (very) low clearance crawlspace. There was a good deal of large/nasty mold growing down there, and the crawlspace itself is very tight. They were extremely thorough, very polite/friendly, and overall did an excellent job. It came out looking like new.

I’m 1st time homeowner and had the guys from Indiana Residential come out to spray seal my entire attic where mold was visible.

Instead of just hitting a few spots they sealed everything from top to bottom. They went above and beyond, getting down below the rafters too. They even offered to help me fix the plumbing on my kitchen sink I had been working on throughout the day.

I would highly recommend anyone dealing with attic mold to inquire about their services! I will definitely use them for any of my other contracting needs!

Not sure I would recommend this company in all aspects of their work.

The company was hired to do some plumbing related work, which included installing an air gap device for my water softener and putting a lid on my sump pump pit. After installing the sump pump lid, the plumber contracted to do the work neglected to inform me that water was being discharged out of a couple of pipes above the pit into the sump pump. Because of the lid installation, water was then being discharged all over my crawl space floor. These two pipes are very hard to miss. I believe a professional plumber should have brought this to my attention and if I had not caught this, it could have caused a lot of long term and expensive damage. I brought this to the attention of the estimator in charge of my work and was told the plumber did exactly what was in the work order.

Additionally, I had a furnace shut off switch installed by a contracted electrician. The electrician used a light switch as the shut off and mounted it onto the side of the furnace. As a result of this, the switch is blocking the air filter trey and can now not be opened. This being something very easy to catch at first glance. Now I can't replace my air filter until this shut off switch is relocated.

My estimator was also very hard to get ahold of. When reaching out about the sump pump situation, I was promised a quick response from my estimator by another employee through an email to which my estimator was included on the email chain. It took me three times within a week and a half to get a response from the estimator. However, there was plenty of time for them to type up an email asking for the payment before I got a response.

These were just a few of the issues I encountered with them, but not all of the work performed was disappointing. I had some carpentry work done and the contractor for that did a fantastic job.

Additionally, mold dogs were awesome guys who are very good at what they do. It was great having them out and am very satisfied with their performance.

Had them come out to do roof and crawl space work on a house we had just bought. We were really impressed. The gentleman working on our crawl paid close attention to detail, reconnected our dryer vent that he noticed was disconnected in the crawl and, to top it off, cleaned the snow off my car when I asked him to move his van so I could get out of the driveway.

They were great to work with and I truly appreciate the ease they brought to this whole process.

Very disappointed with Indiana Residential, especially Brian Alexander in particular. They don't seem to be able or willing to work per IHPC guidelines, which is unfortunate given the number of homes around here within historic districts. We asked them to quote siding and trim replacement plus painting. We were told we'd receive a quote on Friday, Monday at the latest. We didn't receive a quote until the following Thursday after we contacted Brian to follow up. We immediately sent follow-up questions and once again, did not receive a response after several calls, voicemails, and emails. We only received a response 12 days later when I submitted another request for quote on their website. Brian's response, in my opinion unprofessional, was I will not be quoting installation of sheathing at the property. With the limitation of saving existing trim material around windows, We will not be able to address any sheathing installation as the trim would end up recessed behind the siding. Thank you for your understanding, best of luck finding a contractor to address your repairs. Overall, disappointed that we wasted our time with Indiana Residential.

We were impressed by everyone associated with Indy Residential from the office to the 3 members of their crew working on various electrical issues, repairing a small leak on an old outdoor gas line and adjusting locks on large sliding windows (in our sunroom). I've recommended them to our neighbors and the new home owner.

Had 2 jobs done by them - no one called to say they were on the way even though I asked them to - just subbed the work out to other plumbers and electricians - work was good but for the electrical work they charged me $550 for 10 minutes of work

I have used Big Frog Plumbing for two jobs. They where fantastic! Quick and clean. Very affordable. They even told me I didn’t need some things to save me money! I highly recommend using them for you next plumbing job!!

I have used Indiana Residential for a number of transactions, some with very extensive and complicated repair issues. Their ability to provide quick estimates is invaluable during negotiations. They have responded quickly and professionally in some situations that required very immediate responses and have helped keep deals together and enabled us to close on time. I highly recommend them.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had a roofing job done to replace a few shingles. The communication leading up to the job was good- they would even text me (which is more convenient for me due to my job). I was not at home while they were working on the roof but immediately upon my arrival, I noticed that the shingles that they installed were a completely different color than the rest of the roof. I’ve tried multiple times over the span of two weeks to get ahold of someone! Left multiple voicemails, tried to contact everyone I worked with leading up to the job, etc. Dead silence. Haven’t received one returned call nor a follow up. Ironic how the communication went from fair leading up to the job to absolute nothing when it concerns the actual work they did. I’m extremely disappointed and NOT HAPPY whatsoever with the job done on my roof.

We primarily worked with Joel Shores. He was quick in getting back to us. He walked us through all the details. We were selling our house and he even offered to meet with our buyers and explain the repairs that we planned to do and why they addressed their concerns. I'm sure that him going the extra mile is why we were able to close the sale. There were one or two very minor details that I think may have gotten overlooked (like getting a cover back on something, etc), but the major work was all done well. I was especially pleased with their work installing a new electrical panel. It looks incredible and they labeled it very clearly. The crew was also exceedingly polite and conscientious about trying to minimize any inconvenience.

I was referred to this group by my realtor. I called to set up an appt for a House we were going to buy. He asked for an inspection report and pic and my realtor sent that to him. He said I need to look at the property and we set that up. After about a week and half he emails my realtor saying this is not a good fit for us. We were only looking for an estimate and not asking him to fix everything right then and there. We called him to ask for an explanation or what was going on no one called us back. Then finally we just get an email saying basically good luck with no explanation. What is not a good fit my accent the way I look or the car I drive. You should give a decent explanation if you choose not to work with someone. You wanted our time and delayed our closing dates. I would not recommend them to anyone as they are not reliable or trust worthy.

we used IR for some front porch rail work that required cementing a new main post and rebuilding the stair railing and furthermore need some soffit work to be completed. the work was thorough, neat, and a most excellent clean up afterward. the price was fair and done in a timely manner. way to go!!

I have rarely in my life left a survey, but in this case I felt it was necessary when it came to a company being out right dishonest. We are in the process of selling our house. 2 other reputable companies told us that the roof was repairable and had significant service life left, At least 5 years. This company stated that the roof was beyond repair and said that the whole roof needed replaced. If you want to be taken advantage of and work with a dishonest company who is only worried a paycheck then this is the company for you.

They are my one stop shop for all my professional real estate inspection repairs. They get the job done well and fast. Clients already have a lot of issues to deal with to get to closing and Indiana Residential makes their life much easier. Thanks for all you do.

I was set to have a speculative property quoted for refurbishment; a week before the inspection I called to make sure the project was the kind they would be happy to work; I was told yes. As the work was speculative, I offered to pay for the quote, as there was a reduced guarantee of work; I was told it would be for free. Two hours before the inspection, I was contacted and told it was something they didn’t normally do, so they were not going to support the viewing. I easily could have found someone else to do the work if they had just been upfront, and I would have respected their decision. Very poor professionalism, disrespectful, and untrustworthy. Move on to someone else you can trust from the beginning.

This was very frustrating since they had already been paid. Jason, the worker that was eventually sent completed the remaining items, was polite and efficient. Had roof done 2019, leaked 3 times, then came out to put tar around where there was no flashing, gee sure it's gonna leak, would NOT recommend, it wasn't done right, have to have flashing........extremely upset,

Our realtor suggested Indiana Residential for our inspection response. They responded within minutes of all emails, they showed up on time, they did the work that was requested, and their technician explained everything he was doing. Competent and professional, what more could anyone ask for?

Zero stars isn’t an option unfortunately. I scheduled an inspection with Robert and he was the one who set the day and time. I coordinated with multiple people’s schedules to make the inspection work only to have him no call - no show. I tried calling Robert to discuss and left a voice mail with no response and no call back from him. Very disappointed.

We recently bought a home in Avon, IN - during the real estate transaction, we ordered an inspection that revealed a number of age and weather related repair issues such as loose rooftop shingles, rotten fiberboard trim, leaking windows, broken outside electrical outlets, interior water damage, and other issues - after contacting Indiana Residential and receiving an acceptable quote we were advised to wait for a few weeks until the weather warms up in order to make outside repairs more lasting - over the past few days Indiana Residential dispatched 4 repair technicians - each day they were on time, worked all day, took only a short break for lunch, they kept every work area well protected, and after each project was finished, they cleaned the area as if it was a hospital operating room, each project was executed flawlessly - the quality of their work is beyond approach - we couldn't be happier and I would, without hesitation, recommend Indiana Residential to friends, family and neighbors - We are very impressed !!!
