The winter storm of 2021, what I call Snow-VID (Winter-COVID) was devastating for so many across the state. When the plumber from Nick's arrived on the scene his professionalism and calm helped me get through the situation. There was not one copper pipe leak, but two. The tech completed the work quickly and shortly after he left I had one of the most glorious showers in years!

We were having an issue with sewer back up and decided to call GEI Plumbing Services to help us resolve the issue. Evan came, looked everything over, and fixed the problem right then. He was very informative, professional and tidy. Having a customer service experience like that would not make me hesitate at all in the least. Instead, I would call on GEI Plumbing Services again for my plumbing and drain issues. Thank you!

Called for a gas inspection ($450 - and said that was discounted!). They found a water shutoff valve not working properly on the water heater. Replaced for $150. In the process, broke a copper pipe that they claimed needed to be replaced anyway as it was old ($150). Came back next day and found another problem with a different gas heater ($350). Came back next business day with city inspector and found that the pilot of a gas heater would not stay lit after we reported no hot water all weekend. They said it just 'happens sometimes' and needs to be replaced ($400). I should've stopped this long before but I'm finally having someone else come and take a look. The technicians that came were very nice as well as the answering office staff when I called, but I can't help but feel like they are trained to find/create problems...UPDATE: Had another plumber out. He got the water heater lit and staying lit in 15 minutes...so glad I didn't drop another $400!!!

Had to turn off the water to the house due to a hole in a pipe, but they responded quickly and quickly got us back up and running. Quick, courteous, and inexpensive service. Although I hope I never need one again, I would call them if I did.

We’ve used capital plumbing many times! They are very responsive and get out to our house quickly always within a few hours! They do not over charge and don’t make you pay for something you don’t need! They even FaceTimed us and walked us through how to fix our pilot light ourselves! Saving us money and time! This is the best plumber we have ever used!!

I used this plumbing company services to install and repipe a new sink garbage disposal. I provided the garbage disposal. This installation was for my father. He stated that Rolando properly installed the disposal using new pipe and provided a ground wire where there was none, previously. The installation is a vast improvement over the last time the old disposal was installed, correctly piped in a more simpler drain pattern under the sink and again, installed a ground wire, as recognized as needed by Rolando. The company uses flat rate fees, which was not priced during our service request, causing some confusion, no fault of the plumber, Rolando. We worked it out satisfactorily. My father was pleased with the final price, the professional installation and conduct of the plumber who recognized the work needed improvement.Since Thanksgiving is next week, I suggest giving Rolando a bonus that includes a full-size turkey. Thanks, Rolando.

Stay away from these people! I don't understand all these positive reviews on google. Yelp is full of negative reviews and I did not see that prior to booking an appointment, the reviews are so true. We had a minor leak and did not want it to become a bigger problem as it was raining. We looked at google and came across this company and we’re unfortunately misled by the positive reviews. We decided to give them a chance. When I called to book the appointment, a lady made no mention about a Trip Fee and the service team will evaluate the possible problem and give me a quote. That all sounded good at the time. appointment. Two guys came to our home, and went to work. There is an issue with the air duct placement that caused the leak, I have moved them and you will not have the leak anymore. They pulled out their tablet and showed the charge is $150! We were flummoxed. Not at the price, but rather the fact that we were never given an opportunity to decide whether or not we wanted them to fix the “problem” or the fact that we were never given a quote and inform us about their findings. Then they approached me with the option to buy a membership instead of paying for the service and also tells me that there is $69 trip fee! They are supposed to evaluate the situation and give me a quote, not fix (if you wanna call it that) and force me to pay the charges. There was no Trip fee as per the customer service lady. I called the customer Service in front of them to sort out these charges and the lady refused to talk to the service guys, that was so strange! She just kept apologizing for their unprofessional behavior while the guys rushed out of our home and slammed our doors. Not once, but twice!

Extremely dissatisfied. I called my home warranty and they scheduled kintex come out to fix a shower valve that broke all of a sudden when starting. (The metal spoke connecting the handle to the internal plumbing broke) They came out and evaluated, and I'm just finding out today several days later after no follow up that they stated it wasn't normal wear and tear so my claim was denied by my warranty company. (keep in mind that I had already called plumbers in the area before I called my home warranty service to see if it would cost less through an individual than my deductible ) the plumber prior said yes that's a common issue with those shower faucets that come standard with these homes and he's replaced several throughout the yrs in the area but that it would cost more for him to do than my deductible. So question is how much actual knowledge of these types of common situations that sound like they should be well known in a company that specializes in plumbing are being miss labeled, or could it also be that the pay thats compensated for the work by the warranty company wasn't what they found fair and would of rather denied the claim? (He stated he might also need to cut out the back wall to get to the parts inside, and could end up as a lengthy process so before working on it he wants to make sure he has all the tools he needs) why give all the details and information on the next steps while you were in my home if you infact knew you were going to say it was miss use and the claim would then be denied?**UPDATE** 3/25/20My warranty company offered an option to do a second opinion with another company and they sent out 'Lindsay Company' this time around. The gentleman here came in, checked out the Valve and said almost exactly what I was told by the plumber prior to Kintex coming out. He said he sees this happen alot with this Moen brand valve, overtime they get kind of tough to turn and eventually break and he's replaced several. He's working on replacing the valve as I type this out. Kintex I would hope that you would share this with your employees (especially the 2 that came out) to make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks.
