We got 3 quotes from 3 different companies and Mission Air is a decent one out of all. When I called in the request for the service, they were so responsive in getting all the information needed to get me started. I also requested them to get the work done as soon as possible because we need our sink. After finishing the work, they cleaned up and everything looked perfect as we expected. Thanks for your hardwork and fast work

I called on last Friday and made an appointment with Mission AC they made me an appointment for today Monday. The technician Ryan Case, not only showed up on time he was early. He was absolutely amazing. He not only fixed my system quickly and efficiently he showed me pics of what was wrong and gave me tips for the best way to adjust my wall thermostat. Ryan said these tips will have my unit last longer and help with energy cost. He was so kind he even fixed my attic latter. I’ve recently moved back into my home and I’ve had some unfortunate incidents with some repair men. I’m a single woman who lives alone. But Ryan felt like a friend who’d come to help me and I trusted him right away!I’m so grateful because now I know I can trust Mission AC with getting some repairs done for my mothers home as well. I’ve been blessed by an Angel today-Ryan! I’m eternally grateful and thankful! I feel happy knowing there is a Person and Technician like Ryan in the world! God bless us all! ❤️

I truly couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received from Mission. After calling the business and having experienced such a pleasant phone conversation with the office, I was expecting the same experience when the technicians arrived and that’s exactly what I got! Pleasant, knowledgeable, took all my concerns seriously and got right to work on investigating the problem. They were very through and explained everything they found. I highly recommend this company as I felt they performed excellent, timely and ethical services.

Great experience with Ricardo checking out our system maintenance. He did a great job explaining ways to maximize the function of our system.**edit**I am sad to have to edit this 5 star review. Unfortunately, there was damage to my attic door during this visit and the technician, Ricardo, did not notify me of this before leaving. You can see in the image. Anthony was wonderful! I was impressed with him both professionally and personally. He performed a furnace inspection, took pictures as he went to show me, made recommendations for repairs and explained the benefits of twice yearly inspections and how signing up in advance will give me a discount on any work done with Mission. I will request him when I have my AC inspected in the spring.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ricardo Rodriguez from Mission Air Conditioning & Plumbing and I have to say, I am extremely impressed with the service I received. After my heater had been out for 3 days and my house was getting colder and colder, I reached out to multiple companies and Mission was the first to pick up. Ricardo arrived promptly, listened to my problem, and quickly diagnosed the issue. He not only fixed the problem, but also gave me great advice on how to improve my AC unit with the addition of an Air Scrubber and Surge Protector. The entire process took no more than 20 minutes and Ricardo was very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Mission Air Conditioning & Plumbing and Ricardo Rodriguez for all your heating and cooling needs.

I heard water dripping from my attic last night and called Mission first thing the next day. They were able to get someone out to my home before noon and assess the situation. My tech Arnaldo was great at explaining what was going on with my drain line. He performed the repair and made me feel at ease. I signed up for their annual maintenance plan and would definitely recommend using Mission.

A+ company! Have hired Mission multiple times and always receive excellent work at an affordable price. Angelo is a skilled plumber who has been to my home a few times. He is proficient in his trade and very professional. Thank you Mission!

We had a two toilets backed up at our building in Deer Park this week, in back to back restrooms. We called our regular plumber that we had used for service work for years and Mission answered as they had bought out our regular plumber They said it would be $199 to come out and we agreed to that cost. Their technician unplugged the toilet and charged us $536 to remove and reset the toilet and $349 to snake out the line. I have a number of complaints with their work. First, he didn’t need to remove and reset the toilet to clear the line, if he even did. There was a floor drain 3 feet away from the toilet in both restrooms he could have used. And he kept asking our manager if she knew where the clean out was. There was a clean out on the common wall between the two toilets with a big silver cover on it that is there specifically for the problem we had, that he should have known to use without even asking. $199 to show up then another $885 to unplug it, and his total time there was an hour max. Then he called a friend at a water restoration company who wanted to come and give us an estimate for water damage that we might have, which we didn’t. And that guy, Robert would not take no for an answer from the ladies and kept calling. Then when I called the Mission office on Tuesday and explained our dissatisfaction with the work and cost, she said the owner would call me back. This is Friday and I have not heard from anybody since then, except of course from Robert who still wanted to come out and give us an estimate for possible water damage repairs. This people are a rip-off and my manager feels like they just took advantage of her because she didn’t know where the clean out was located or what we should have been charged for the service. He wanted her to sign when the job was finished but the device had a cracked screen and was so filthy she would not even touch it. They may have all kinds of glowing reviews but our experience was not. They will not be called again.

When I was having AC issues late on a Friday evening, Mission AC responded by sending Juan Barrron. Juan arrived in about 30 minutes and quickly took care of the issue. He was professional and good at getting the job done which was especially appreciated with it being after hours. To go from an AC issue to a fix so quickly on a Friday night was great, thanks Juan!

We were having issues with our heater. Ryan was very responsive and personable. While it ended up being an expensive issue, Ryan went out of his way to rule out less expensive fixes. We are happy with the service Mission provided and will use them again.

The team at Mission A/C and Plumbing was extremely helpful and professional through my entire A/C project. I asked them to scope a 2-zone A/C system to solve some major air flow problems in my house. They quoted that scope as well as an alternate scope that would be cheaper for me and still solve the problem (that I ended up choosing). They weren't looking for the payday - they actually wanted to do the right thing for me.The work crew was on time, answered my questions, completed quality work, and cleaned the work area at the end. The end result was a properly ducted system with manual air damper valves.I highly recommend Mission for their A/C work.

I called Mission and they were out within the hour. The technicians, Angelo and Matthew, were very professional and explained everything well. They worked diligently. The clog ended up being out in the City of Pasadena's line, so would've been their responsibility. Angelo went ahead and called another colleague who is familiar with the City of Pasadena's procedure, Jimmy, to get his advice. Jimmy was nearby so he went ahead and stopped by and was able to get the clog cleared up. Even though where it was would be the City's responsibility. Thank you to the Mission team!

Ricky was amazing! Would definitely be requesting him as a tech. He was professional, knowledgeable and very polite. The whole experience with Mission has been amazing. Would highly recommend Mission for any A/C and plumbing service.

Zoning repair and UV air scrubber install performed as well.Ricardo was professional, polite and patiently explained our issues, options to improve our system, and explained the fixes etc to my husband as he was working on them. He was efficient, personable, and we’d use him again and recommend to anyone we know.

Ricardo was very professional and explained everything he was doing, and why.We could also tell that he cared very much about doing a high-quality job and went an extra step to correct something after he had finished not related to AC that he notices and had been an annoyance for 5 years! Water heater replacement and toilet replace was good and the quality was good. Mission is not the cheapest vendor and they are sooooo expensive. Look elsewhere for a good price and service combination. I needed the replacements done at the time... after the fact I thought let me get some quotes from others to compare since mission quality is good and i wanted to know if I will be a repeat customer. I was shocked with the price differences.Update on 04/20: I am dropping the rating... listen to this... The Technician tells me your work is done at 04/18 and I am Set. On 04/19 their automatic system send me a message that I am scheduled for maintenance on 04/20. I reply back to them that this might be a mistake and my work was completed the day before; they never replied to clarify. 04/20 the technician shows up to my door requesting access to install a part on the water heater to comply with the extended warranty. The Company elected to not have the hard conversation, communicate the issue, or admit the missing installation till the moment their tech is on my door!!!!!! Imagine the technician (who did not tell me the installation was in fact not complete) forgot, fired, got into an accident, died. I would have have been kept without that part...therefore, I am changing my mind, for the price you can definitely find much better.

Rex, Matthew and Juan were outstanding!! Their kindness and excellent service went above and beyond. They were selfless in working on Good Friday. Their top priority was taking care of our family so that we would enjoy hot water over the Easter weekend. They were profesional, courteous and so very nice. They worked hard all day and did the best job! We are so happy with the work and having them here was a joy. Many thanks again! I had a 2-year old mini-split system leak water on my interior wall. Mission did not install this system, but I called Mission to repair it because, from their website, Mission seemed they were very knowledgeable about mini-split repair. The long story short is that the problem was basically a simple one: the plastic water drain hose had a bad connection, which required replacing one segment of the drain hose (and slightly adjusting the exit angle of the hose on the exterior of the house). But what should have been a straightforward fix took: three separate visits by Mission, various proposed other fixes (including possibly installing a water pump, even though the problem was a leak in the hose, not the movement of water), and possibly drilling a new hole in the exterior of the house. This all came at a charge of $1700 (they also charged me $225 just to do routine maintenance on another unit, but I'm not complaining about that). I understand labor and time are valuable, but this is why you want knowledgeable people working on your projects: knowledgeable people don't spend days learning on the job with your project. They figure out the problem and the get to a solution without multiple tries over days. To be fair, the guys were very nice and professional. They were trying to do the right thing. But ultimately, what matters is: did Mission's team have the necessary expertise from the start, and was the value of the work reflected in the price? The answer to those questions is no.

Just had our heater fixed and called to inquire about the price since it was under warranty and once explained to me, I signed off on it. When the gentleman came back to install he asked for payment upfront because they were concerned we wouldn’t pay. We have used this company for years in our old house and now our new home. We have never not paid, ever. The minute the work was done we paid him directly on the spot, but said we wanted to wait to make sure everything was up and working. I’m offended and disappointed with how they treated a loyal customer.

D’Marquise came within an hour of calling and needing a plumber. He came in checked out what was going on went to his van got a part that we thought was the problem and come to find out it was a leak in the pipe. He fixed the pipe cleaned up what little mess he had and was on his way. He was very professional and well mannered. Highly recommend his service!

Roel Murillo, our service man, was very professional and helpful. I got an online appointment late Sunday night as my ac wasn't working, and he arrived by 2 pm the next day. He had my wiring fixed and ready to go within 2 hours. Excellent work done!

Wasn’t very happy with our first service. I say that because we had an 8-12pm appointment window only to be told at 10:25 am he was running behind. Our new time would be 12-2pm, but that came and gone with no update until 2:10pm that our technician was on lunch. He eventually showed up at 2:18. I do appreciate the first communication about him running late, but would have been good practice if we were told he would be arriving late for the second appointment time window. As for the service he did what he had to do, but failed to read my note about pulling the ceiling ladder all the way down before expanding it because if he didn’t do it that it would damage the wall. Yes, he damaged the wall even though I knew he had to have seen the note because the stick to reach the access point was right in front of the note. Very disappointed in our first scheduled preventative service and will give them a second chance.

Supply line to water heater burst and we found out Christmas Day! I called Mission and within 4 hours we were up and running. Jimmy the technician could not have been nicer and more professional. He saved Christmas!

Angelo Masino and his helper were a hard working, precise information, talking to us about price as the work evolved. They saved us a little more than expected ($600) and explained how and what they did accurately.If we ever use them again I will ask for the same two professionals that came to my house today. Thanks for a job well done!!!

In April 2020, Mission fully replaced an a/c unit—condenser, evaporator, coil—the whole thing. It cost over $6k. Near the end of the install, the person handling the install didn’t feel well and left very abruptly. It was an odd situation, but we were assured everything had been completed properly. In August 2020, the new a/c unit wasn’t cooling. They came out and we learned there was a clog somewhere. In February 2023, the same a/c unit stopped cooling completely. Mission came out, replaced a capacitor, and told me that whoever set up my system did it incorrectly, so he adjusted the levels of various items and did a few other things to “fix it.” Under warranty, that still cost several hundreds of dollars. Here we are in May 2023, and we noticed the unit is taking longer than usual to cool. Mission came out and told us there is an issue with the coil and there’s a leak. This is a 3-year old system, and even though we have a manufacturer warranty, the labor will cost over $2k to fix it. It’s clear to me that the real issue is whoever installed my system did it incorrectly and we continue to have issues because of it, and Mission isn’t addressing the root cause. I can not ever recommend Mission because of this. Using them has been a waste of money and energy, and quite stressful.

Had a rocky start and was unhappy. Then I was contacted by a representative and had a discussion about the issues. They sent another person out for no charge and he was able to fix our problem without any other issues or cost. I am very pleased after getting past initial misunderstanding! I could now recommend the company to others and would use them for future issues.

Needed 2 base seals and 2 sets of anchor bolts. Received a quote of $3,173.00. Both technicians were very polite. I declined the offer. Called another plumber and had the job done for $300.00. Wanted to let you know the $199.00 service call charge is a great idea when you have no intention of actually doing the job. Again, great idea.

On 1/25/2023 my heater stopped working and I called Mission out to check it and fix the heater because I already had a maintenance plan with them.Ricardo came out checked the system and determined I needed a zone sensor. Installed the sensor and later on that evening it went out again I called Mission back first thing the next morning and they sent someone else out to check it .We both went up in the attic to find out what was going on and we both noticed a water bottle with urine in it sitting on the furnace.I lost it realizing the tech from yesterday had urinated in the water bottle the day before and forgot it. The tech immediately apologized and took it and put it in the trash in the garage.That being said this company is terrible they only afford a apology and said we will talk to him.If you want urine left in your attic this is to company for the job and my wife was down stairs feet away while he done this in my attic !!!!!! Stay away from them you have been warned!!!!

Anthony Fox was congenial and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied and even put up a vent cover for us that we couldn’t put up because of its location. We will follow Anthony wherever he goes.

We had our pipes completely redone and they have been excellent through every interaction. Kind, easy to work with and good at answering questions. Great company and will recommend them to anyone

Mr. Ryan Case was an awesome installer. He was on time, personable, and answered all my questions even the ones tangentially related to My HVAC. Willing to give various options and solutions offering different recommendations based on need. Ryan was a pleasure to work with and hopefully we will see more of him if additional HVAC work is needed.

Calvin did a great job with our annual plumbing inspection and flushing our tankless hot water heaters. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and thorough with his work.

Jimmy Ortutay with Mission AC and Plumbing is my go-to plumber. We have had several problems through the years and Jimmy has always been exceptionally helpful. He explains very clearly what caused the problem and what he has to do. He is patient and friendly in answering all questions and if there are options available, he will tell you. Juan Barron from Mission has been going to my grandma's house for the last 2 years. He's always been able to convey the message needed to my grandma who only speaks Spanish and makes it very easy to work with Mission.

Angelo went above and beyond to get the drain problem taken care of. He was very polite and professional. He explained everything he was doing. Should we need work done again I will definitely call and request Angelo.

Ricardo was very thorough in his maintenance check up mission installed me 2 new hvac systems5 years ago and the installation was done with high expertise. Thank you mission for the quality of work.

They answered very quickly. Came the same same day. My sink disposal was broken. The technician was great!Only their pricing is a bit high. $173 to unclog a disposal. That took about 3 mins. Then $49 trip charge.

Everyone that I have delt with at Mission has been great and personable. They were able to show me video of what wasn't working and explain it to me in an easily digestible way.I will be using them again for future HVAC maintenance and fixes!

Updated - my spring tune up also included s very detailed report with photos. Again Javier made sure the capacitor replacement and duct work was completed and I got a full explanation at the end of the job. It's a peace of mind to find a company you can trust. Anthony is always friendly, informative, and reliable.ADDITIONAL REVIEW:Ricardo R. came out for what we thought was an A/C issue, and even though it was late in the evening, he had a great attitude, and dealt with the problem thoroughly. It turned out to be a plumbing issue, but Ricardo still took several pictures and video to add to his notes when he created the request for a plumber.

Ricky Gonzalez did a great job today. He performed the most thorough maintenance check on my AC system that I’ve ever seen in my history of home ownership.

Ryan came and serviced our clinic, & he was amazing! He explained thoroughly the questions we had about what was wrong with our system ! In less than 30 minutes he fixed our problems!

This might be the company to call for routine maintenance, but if you need a repair, my suggestion is to call someone else. Their ability to diagnose a problem, responsiveness, and effectively communicate deserves ZERO stars.I called because the vent supplying my kitchen/dining area had no air flow, causing my downstairs to be significantly colder than upstairs. When the tech came, he said he would need to cut the sheetrock in order to visualize the duct. The charge was $225 for that. I agreed and paid.The first cut attempt in the kitchen was unsuccessful so he made another cut in the bedroom closet (see pics). After running a camera and taking pics in the duct, his assessment was that the low flow was due to the duct being clogged with insulation (which is actually listed as ROOT CAUSE in the estimate).In addition to needing this repair, I was also interested in getting a quote to replace the ac and furnace because I had recently purchased this home KNOWING that it had an aged system. For this, a different tech came to assess and gave me a quote for 12k to replace. He even mentioned that I was good for the time being. Your unit is still working.On the day of the repair, I was there to meet the tech, let him in, then left for work. I received a call from him later that afternoon saying that the repair was complete and air flow was restored....only for me to come home later that evening to a cold downstairs. There was absolutely no difference in the amount of air flow to that particular vent. I called to let them know and they offered to send a more experienced tech to troubleshoot.When that tech came, all I got was it could be this, or it could be that,...he also mentioned something about a damper, and was told the service manager would contact me with an estimate. I had to call several days later to find out when I might expect the estimate. When I received it, it was an estimate to REPLACE the entire system. When I was finally able to speak to the service manager, he said my guys told you the unit needed to be replaced. My response...Uh no...they did not. They told me the problem was the duct being clogged (see invoice again). I'm actually the one that inquired about the cost to replace. In the meantime, I received an invoice for $525...the cost to remove the insulation from the duct, i.e. repair the air flow.These back and forth service calls began on January 4th. Over a month later, I'm out $750, and the only difference I notice is the 2 gaping holes in my sheetrock!My lesson learned: Read the lowest Google ratings too. As you will see in this case, there are several recent 1-star ratings with very similar experiences as mine. Poor response, high fees, lack of communication, etc.

A wonderful experience. The service tech came right on time and knew exactly what he was doing. He wore booties and was very professional. A lot of a/c companies always try and sell you something or do something that is not needed. Not these guys and that is important because trust in this type of business is more important than anything else. I highly recommend Mission.

Jose was very professional and efficient. He checked the heating unit, filters, vents, and checks for CO2. He took pictures of mold found in the vents and explained that he would follow up with Green residential to recommend mold remediation options. I appreciate that he was thorough and explained what he saw in the HVAC system. He did an excellent job.

Juan from Mission AC has done our last 2 AC and heating maintenance check ups. He's professional and has been prompt and clear in communication. He also gave us advice on installing new toilets in our house. Would highly recommend any service from Mission!

The technician visiting my house, Anthony Fox, was very knowledgeable and effective, I’d recommend him to anyone and I hope he will be the one coming when it’s time for my next service as well.

Unfortunately Mission AC & Plumbing attempted to fleece us for a significant amount of money. They attempted to charge us $640 for restarting a hot water heater - about 5 minutes of work. They hid the total price during the charging, and then attempted to pressure us to pay. We found this be borderline fraudulent and very unethical. I would recommend others look elsewhere or be very careful dealing with this company.

I used this company to come and do a service on my heating service and love the service and the honesty of the technician who explained everything about my system and even took me up in the attic to show me. Martin was excellent and he was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining everything.

They did a job for me in the past, but I had a confirmed appointment for this morning, December 26, between 8 and 12 AM. They did not show up, call or return my call until I called again and sent a couple of nasty texts. What I received before they bothered to respond was another canned text telling me, not asking, that they would come tomorrow between 8 and 12. Did not ask if that was OK. Great first experience with this company! Very nice and extremely helpful technician, and just a very positive experience overall.

Overall pleasant experience with Mission and pleased with their service. However I will not be using Mission again as I did not feel their price was comparable to competitors in the industry that I have used before. If the price had been comparable I would continue to use them in the future.

Our service was excellent. We were notified of who was coming, prior to his coming. He was very friendly, informative and professional.

I received a picture of who to expect and Anthony was great! He explained what he was going to do and then explained what he found. He didn't pressure me into additional services but said he would email them and gave a brief explanation of what to expect. Prices were great and the service was perfect.

Only concern is gentlemen left mud tracks on stairs. Suggest double up on shoe booties on a rainy day. Prompt service and same day repair.

I called Mission to get a second opinion on some very expensive repairs to my furnace that were recommended by another company. They were able to schedule me for the same day. Justin came. He was friendly and professional. He quickly found that my thermostat was installed improperly and that was why my furnace and AC wouldn’t come on. For less than $100, Justin reinstalled the thermostat and everything is working fine now. The other guys wanted to replace my blower fan and control panel. My system is still under warranty so it would “only“ cost $2100 for the labor. With no warranty the parts would’ve been an additional $4300. I’m so happy and grateful to Justin for his skill and honesty. I will definitely call Mission first from now on and recommend them to my friends.3/9/2023 My AC stopped working. Employee is great, company is terrible. My technician was Ronnie, on time, work professional and patient with the client!Now back to the company1) I had a tune up in April, AC broke in July. Told me b/c my AC was fine when they check and it ran extra hard in this 3 month b/c it is summer. So pretty much their tune up does nothing just like all those other companies.2) The tuneup is promoted as they will waive your dispatch fee and 10% off for parts in future repair. Believe that sounds really “attractive to me” that is why I got trapped. You will still be charged dispatch fee for repair, the waiver is only for maintain. The quote for repair they give you is like Macy’s “sale””discount”, the price for the part has been raised 20x more already for what they called “high quality” and “warranty (not life time but 1y)”. So you ends up paying way more than that 10%3) 1thing they are right they are not the worst, most AC companies you can see an AD is like this. So either find a new AC man or cross this company off and find the next one which is probably the same as this.4) the employee deserves a 5 star, the company zero! You want to charge 20x more you’d better raise your technician’s pay!

I hired Mission when it was discovered that my existing a/c unit had some issues. I had quotes from three companies come in and the guy who does sales for mission did a great job. He really sold the system…even though we’d never heard of the brand before. They were not the cheapest, or the company with the best reputation that we had quote us. But went with them anyway because the guy really instilled confidence in this unit’s abilities. There was some miscommunication on their end about the drainage for the system from my attic. They finally came out and simply poured some rocks in my yard. Very quickly I began getting notices on my thermostat. They came back out and couldn’t figure it out. Finally a different person came and discovered the unit was improperly installed. So they had to fix that and bring someone in to help fix the ventilation in my attic. They told me I needed to have someone come out in the summer months to deal with making sure the ac was cooling properly because it was February at this point. Fast forward to summer and my unit fails in the first truly hot day of the season. They come out, waive the fee for coming out after I expressed dissatisfaction, and informed me that the unit doesn’t have a strong enough breaker it pulls from…which is news to me because that feels like something someone should have informed me of upon install…or even the quote. And he said it’ll probably keep tripping. So now I need an electrician out. And when I pressed upon the fact that not only is my upstairs still hotter than heck 24/7, even after insulation galore, and that I have to now run my a/c not at the 70-72 I did on my old system…but at 62 degrees constantly, I was told oh it’s probably because you need another return upstairs. I asked him to have someone call me from their office to discuss the issues with communication and he said he would. That was Saturday. It’s end of business Tuesday. Nothing still. If I could have this system uninstalled and get a refund I would. I deeply regret using Mission for multiple reasons.

This is the third time I've used Mission. Every technician that has serviced our appliances has been professional and courteous. They make solid recommendations for maintenance contacts, but do not pressure. They have always done repairs for the price quoted.

The gentleman who came out to help us out was very professional, he was very patient, he was looking for a gas leak and he went over it several times until he finally found the leak that was very small. He saved us money from having to open up walls to look for the leak, he was patient and made sure the leak was somewhere that was exposed before trying to look for it behind walls. Happy with the work on the heater but they made a mess of the house. Left insulation on my ladder on the bedroom floor hallway floor dining room floor and living room floor. When I call they said that they would send someone to clean up but I had already clean up because I walk with braces and crutches and the insulation made the floor slippery!

Matthew was very professional and made sure the hot water heater was installed properly.

I used to use this company when they were sweet water and they were reasonable and reliable. Just called to have Mission come out and they quoted me $699 to replace a garbage disposal. I asked them to itemize the quote and they refused, saying they don’t itemize quotes. I reached out to two other vendors that quoted no more than $250 for parts and labor. Highway robbery, integrity is clearly not an objective with Mission.

Been using this company primarily for Air Conditioning related stuff with a bit of plumbing with no complaints. Very professional, on time, reasonably priced, and has been able to resolve every issue I've had. I think there's even been a time or few when there was no issue and I simply wasn't familiar with a new homes system and they fixed it for free.

I called Mission AC & Plumbing and they sent out repairmen Alvin and Jose who arrived in about an hour. They spent about 15 or 20 minutes repairing my garbage disposal unit which had a small plastic cup stuck in the disposal. Alvin disconnected the disposal unit from the sink and removed the plastic cup and put it back together. Mission charged me their basic service fee or repair charge of $19.95. They came out promptly, were extremely professional, inexpensive and did an outstanding job. I very highly recommend Mission AC and Plumbing. They are the number one AC & Plumbing Company I would call or recommend to anyone. Happy Customer in Clear Lake.

Josh, the plumber that performed the service, was absolutely wonderful. Very pleasant and experienced and resolved the problem professionally and without incident. However, the price that Mission Plumbing charged was completely outrageous and ridiculous.! They wanted to charge me almost $400.00!!! Totally ridiculous to unclog a kitchen drain. We loved Josh but will never use this company again because of their prices!! Again, the plumber Josh was amazing but I do not approve of this company's charges.

Thanks again!Technician was super friendly and arrived on time, however I was misled by what the repair was. I was told it was a motor assist repair. I had never heard of this before and to my own fault I didnt really question what it was. I gave the go ahead and $640 later all that was replaced was the capacitor which I could have done myself for like $25. Why not just tell me the capacitor needs to be replaced instead of motor assist repair? Immediately regret hiring them. Even if I knew it was a capacitor replacement and wanted it professionally done there is no way it should be more than $200 tops for a 15 minute job. The pricing isnt the fault of the tech who was knowledgeable and friendly but the company's prices itself are insane. Will be reaching out to the BBB for some kind of resolution. This must be what a robbery feels like.

We’ve been having issues with our AC for almost two weeks. Up until this morning, we’d been working through our builder to identify and fix the issue. Today we decided to find our own help and gave Mission AC a call. They got us a service appointment same day. The communication before our service window was excellent. Our technician (Ivan) even showed up early (yay!) since we said we’d be open to this.I’ll just start by saying that Ivan was amazing. I could tell right away that I was going to like him, but he continued to impress throughout the appointment. He took the time to listen. He took the time to talk me through what he was doing during his tests and checks. He diagnosed the issue and explained what he recommended as next steps for our specific situation - all the while explaining things in a way I could understand. He’s is incredibly knowledgeable AND as a bonus he has a gift for sharing his knowledge with me - which he seemed able to do almost effortlessly. This, to me, is the sign of a true expert. I felt like our system was in great hands with Ivan.I started the day not knowing anything about our AC system really, and by the time Ivan left I understood everything well enough to make a confident, informed decision about the right next steps for us. A HUGE sigh of relief when you’re sitting in a hot home.I could not recommend Mission AC more and Ivan is a gem.

Mission tried to charge me $600 for an $8 part and routine fix, even though THEY installed this unit less than two years ago, “serviced” it three months ago, and it’s under a 10 year warranty. Absolutely unconscionable behavior and they tried to take advantage of the situation. This industry needs to be regulated and consumers need to be protected from predatory and arbitrary companies like this one.

I called Mission since I have an annual contract with them that started with the furnace checking on November 23, 2021. One of my furnaces stopped working.The positive:1) Was able to book an appointment for the next day.2) The technician Dejuan was a knowledgeable and pleasant guyThe negative:1) They changed the capacitor for the heater. It has a retail value around $15-$20 on line. I was charged $385 for the job (technician may have spent 90 min at my house). According to Dejuan, that included the 10% discount for member plus an additional discount given by his manager. This is simply too expensive2) and the following is a question I have: could this failure have been prevented or identified in the maintenance visit on November 23rd, 2021? If identified, I could have shopped around for a better pricing.This is my first year with Mission. I appreciated that they were able to send somebody next day meaning they have more staff than others I have used in the past. But I feel the price I was charged was out of proportion.

David Compton, Sales Manager, was superb. He evaluated the situation, introduced me to the Daikin product line and company, gave me three bids for different levels. Next day the team arrived promptly in the morning to install a new HVAC system. White glove service! Then I asked for service on my hot water heater. They had to install a new T/P line as mine was not to code. All in all a wonderful experience. Everyone polite and helpful — plus everything was cleaned at the end. We had previously used this company for an AC tune up. LOVED the technician. He was polite and informative. So much so that I decided to get their maintenance plan.I then requested a plumber come out and do some work on the sprinkler system that had been damaged by the freeze.He told it would be $675 to fix the back flow preventer, but I could do it myself with the part costing around $50. He did not examine the plumbing prior to this and just gave me the estimate and left.I replaced the $50 part and turned on the water, only to find that the pipes and the whole unit were damaged much worse than he had originally said.So, I called them up and scheduled him to come out. He came out and fixed the unit.Now I will admit, it was my fault that I didn’t go check his work before I paid. After he left I went and took a look at the new unit. He put the part on so the handles for the valves are in-between the house and the unit instead of facing out where they can be accessed easily.He cut off all the insulation on the pipes and instead of re-taping his just kind of pushed them back on.And the unit used to be about 3ft off the ground. It’s now about 16 inches. I read a little bit about the unit and it is supposed to be 12 inches higher than the highest sprinkler head. I have a sprinkler head that is over around 20” tall.Overall the craftsmanship is horrible.I sent an email to the company advising of my unhappiness with this service a week ago and I’ve received no response since.

Had a coil leak develop on a Friday afternoon. Mission had a tech check it out Saturday morning. While the repair was scheduled for the following Monday, Mission provided a portable unit they could get the ac back up. Technicians were professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. Office was als friendly and payment over the phone was easy. Very happy with the service.

The tech they sent, Troy (second time we had him), was friendly and super efficient.3. Instead of racking up charges as is often my perception, Troy both times gave helpful suggestions on how to avoid the problem, and where specifically to call to get free parts (I had forgot we had a lifetime warranty on that faucet).4. And the price was always super reasonable!5. Finally, and most importantly, the work is done quickly and correctly with long-lasting results!You are crazy if you do not pick this plumber!!!

The technician Joel M from Mission was great. He was on time and explained the issue with our AC well. One of the parts he was able to quickly repair and the other he had to pick up. He came back in the time frame that he stated and worked continuously until it was fixed. When you're house is almost 90 degrees this is appreciated.

Rex came out to our office to check a hand washing sink. He was quick to determine the problem and repair the pipe. Was professional and courteous. Demonstrated and explained the repair thoroughly before finishing and cleaning up.

The technician was very pleasant, professional and diagnosed the issue right away, and like I had suspected it was a bad capacitor that needed to be replaced. Here is the problem…the company charges a whopping 600$ for a capacitor change!!!!!Maybe there are folks willing to pay 600 bucks for a capacitor change but in my books…that’s downright unethical and ridiculously exorbitant. I will not be using this company’s services…and btw I got the capacitor changed out for under 100$ including labor.

As always Mission was prompt and professional. Despite it being the Saturday after Thanksgiving, they responded within hours. We had feared that our heater was emitting carbon monoxide, but Juan quickly diagnosed the problem was a fireplace flue apparently closed by the exterminator. I suspect that with some other hvac firms we would have been treated to a new heat exchanger which still would not have solved the issue. Our compliments to Juan and the whole Mission team. I highly recommend this first class company.

Technician was great, walking us through the issues and recommended repair options. I would give him 5 stars if I could, but unfortunately he was bound by Mission’s extremes price mark-ups on repair options. They quoted $250 for the first pound of R410a that needed to be added, and $86 for each subsequent pound as needed. For a material that cost ~$25-30 per pound for them to purchase, and the fact that I had already paid the $90 service call fee, this pricing was absurd. I called another service and had it refilled in <36 hours at $60 per pound with no service or call out fee.Sorry Mission, you probably lost a shot at replacing my unit this winter.

Mission is great! They were able to get to us within an hour or so on a weekend for an urgent situation. Everyone I spoke with as well as the plumber who did the work were exceptionally helpful and friendly. It was wonderful to finally have a positive experience with a contractor! My wife and I have used Mission for many services including: Two new furnaces, one new 5 ton AC unit, new duct work, and a new water heater. Recently they were at our house for a more dire need: repairing leaks from the freeze. Mission AC went above and beyond getting us scheduled and working 8 hours tracking down more than 20 pipe bursts in our attic. Troy Banegas was excellent. I would highly recommend Mission AC to anyone!!

Had an appointment for a AC tune up today scheduled between 12-4 p.m. it’s currently 4:46 p.m. and I’ve not heard anything from anyone.Y’all reached out to me to try and earn my business, and this is how you operate??This is not a good way to try and attract new customers.

I requested a technician to come and look at my honeywell zoning system, which I suspected was wired incorrectly therefor not heating each zone appropriately. The technician did not seem like he knew what he was doing or was very experienced. He gave random diagnostics which when challenged were not part of the issue at hand. I was not confident in his diagnostic or his ability to fix the problem with the random overpriced quotes he gave. Outrageous quotes of $720 to replace a damper motor that retails for $120, and $700 to switch a damper that is wired to the wrong zone (Which at first he told me was wired correctly, only after I challenged him did he say it actually wasn’t wired correctly). I paid the diagnostic fee and am confident I can do a better job trying to fixing it myself.

Our AC wasn't working efficiently so I scheduled an appointment. They were able to schedule for the next day and promptly arrived at start of the window they gave me.Ryan was our tech and he was knowledgeable and an all around good guy. He didn't try to up sell on anything and helped educate me on preventative maintenance I could do myself. He diagnosed the issue almost immediately and was able to remedy it without needing a followup appointment.Will definitely use Mission again in future.

Mission provides friendly and professional service, taking the time to make sure solutions address your issues. I appreciate their knowledge of the products and ability to answer any and all questions we had. We have used mission for both routine annual inspections as well as installation of a dehumidifier system. The techs are all identified before they show-up giving you some added comfort from a safety prospective. They also do a great job cleaning up after an installation and covering flooring for protection. Highly recommend their services if you would like the job done correctly the first time.

I used Mission Air to replace a couple damaged dampers and some duct work that prevented my zoning from working properly. They inspected my system on Monday, the same day they approved my financing and the work was done and completed on Tuesday. When they left they took the rotted ducts with them so I didn't even have to clean. Juan B also stopped by when they were done to make sure everything was taken care of, and he was also particularly helpful and attentive a couple days later when a minor detail affected one of my thermostats and he stopped by and fixed the problem quickly. I'm very happy with the service and I'll no doubt use them again when I need to, although hopefully I won't.

We had a plumbing issue and a tech was able to service our issue the same day, within a few hours of calling. We received text confirmations when the tech was en route and got his information and profile in advance, so we knew who to expect. The tech, Troy, was courteous, knowledgeable and extremely professional. He did wear a mask and booties to come into our home, and maintained distance, which I appreciated. The last thing anyone wants is to invite strangers into their home, especially now, but when you have a plumbing issue, it can’t be avoided. I was very impressed with Mission’s service and professionalism, especially when coming into our home during this crisis - I would highly recommend them!

I called them, and told them I lived in a high rise and the AC was on the roof. They said no problem. Waited nearly 4 hours for their technician to show up. When he finally did, I got a text (not even a call) to inform me that their technician was not well versed...in high rise units (and as a result, he wouldn't be able to service my unit this evening). Awesome service guys!Edit: After posting this, they called / texted and changed their excuse from our technician is not well versed in high rise units to the building won't give us access after 5. I personally, before they came, asked the front desk downstairs to give them access to the roof after 5, and there was no issue whatsoever. Unbelievable.Strongly recommend you avoid this company.

I purchased an AC system from Mission in 2015 and received good service. I also subscribed to their Maintenance Plan until recently. Their techs were professional and did decent work, however, they recently charged my $380 for a 10 minute job to blow out my condensate line. I am happy to pay a premium price for quality work; however, I feel that the tech misrepresented the scope of work when he called me for approval. I never would have agreed to pay that much for a 10 minute job. Research online confirms that condensate line flushing should be $150 at the most. They won't get my business again. I believe they may have grown too fast and lost their way.

Doing business with Mission Air has been delightful, from inquiring about service maintenance plans to scheduling and the service visit. Juan was great helping us to get the services we need. He was attentive and knowledgeable. Joel, our serviceman, was on time, recommended some upgrades to keep our system running properly and explained all in detail and was efficient and on point. The repairman showed up on time and fixed all that was needed quickly. Juan was very professional and very knowledgeable. I had an AC issue at a business I own in a retain center. I used this company due to the high rating it had and was pleased to find out that it was correct. The technician I had was Oscar and he was very professional in explaining what needed to be done and completed the work as soon as he was able to (once the part came in). I would highly recommend and would use again.

Way too expensive.They charged an $150 service charge just to come out. Didn’t use their service and paid the $150 and got another plumber to do the job. Paying the other plumbers plus their $150 service charge; I saved $300 on what they were going to charge me. Very Sad! Plumbers were very professional.

We have used mission AC to replace the unit as well as to repair one. They are always very fast to come out and staff is always very professional and helpful. We have use them for plumbing as well and when the repair didn’t work fully and we ended up having to replace some parts, they gave us a very good discount on the parts since they had already come out before. We would definitely recommend them!

We started using Mission about 2 years ago after numerous less than optimal experiences with other A/C contractors. They are incredibly professional, responsive and communicative. You can expect text messages with the name and photo of your technician, so you know whoIs coming and when.The technician provides detailed assessments and explains any services performed. If additional work is recommended, a complete estimate is provided and the work is completed same day or next depending on time of day.We’ll continue to use them for our cooling and heating needs.

After the service was completed he answered questions I had on possibly installing a Reme-Halo. He was able to check their inventory and come back out to install the next business day. I scheduled this service during Covid-19 and he performed the maintenance with a mask, gloves, and shoe protectors. Would recommend to anyone needing quick and reliable AC service.

Great service by Mission and the technician Joel. Called on a Monday, had someone out to my house the same week. Joel was able to come early and agreed a time with me. He quickly identified the root cause of my condensate drain line issue, informed me of the repair scope and cost, and immediately corrected the issue. Was courteous and clean (wore boot covers while in the house). Would use Mission again.

2019: AC Tune-up $89, the technician ran a vacuum to unplug the main drain and stop the dripping from the overflow pipe2020: AC Tune-up $89, the technician did not run the vacuum or attend to unplug the drain line, explaining us that dripping from the overflow is normal phenomenon2 months later the drain being clogged and the AC running full time, the dropping from the overflow is continuous, we contacted MISSION again, and the technician asked us $300+ to unplug the drain.------Thanks for your answer, but that doesn't explain why your technician didn't run the vacuum to unclog the pipe. I was there and those vacuum are pretty loud, I can tell you it was not used. It is a disappointment but as your company doesn't look interested to fix an issue coming from the lack of competence of your technician, I would prefer look for a more responsible and professional company.

This is our fourth or fifth experience with Mission between two homes (including purchasing a new unit at our old home), and we have always had a wonderful experience. We have had multiple issues with our AC line clogging up. We have had other companies come by and look, but all have done a quick fix without really explaining the issue. We emailed Mission on the weekend requesting for an appointment and were able to get an 8 am Monday morning appointment. Joel came out and listened to our continuing issues. Very professional, knowledgeable and honest. He clearly explained the work that needed to be done to get the overall issue resolved. Will definitely use them again.

Called in advance and arrived as promised. I described to him the symptoms and without looking at the unit he already knew it was most likely a dirty flame sensor. And it was. The tech knew the equipment very well, I have a 10 year old Goodman Amana unit, and he solved the problem in 15 minutes.I did sign up for their semi- annual maintenance plan and he credited the service charge toward the cost of the plan. He did not up sell me on it I asked him about maintenance and he made me a good offer.They also offer to bring you a portable ac in case they can't fix your unit in one day - that can be a life saver in the summer and not many companies provide this service.I have had plenty of bad experience with other contractors before, including reputable ones like Abacus who wanted to up sell me on a bunch of stuff I did not need.I am well aware of how many fake reviews are there online so I took the time to read a lof of their feedback and also who posted it. They did have several other Google local guides that appeared legitimate and gave very positive feedback, so I decided to give them a try and I am glad I did. I highly recommend them.

I have nothing but great things to say about the service I received from Mission. I scheduled my heating system maintenance on Monday and was able to get an appointment for the next day. Anthony answered all my questions, and while he mentioned Mission’s maintenance plan, he was not pushy, which I appreciated. I will call ok Mission again.

Needed thermocouple replaced on older hvac system. When I called to make appointment I gave specific detailed information about my system requirements. The tech came out, looked at it and told me he can't do it. Then tried to lie saying parts are unavailable. Wasted half a day and lost money missed from work due to their inability to communicate and listen to customers.

Troy was honest about what was going on and provided a fix that would last long enough for us to arrange for the major work that will be needed in the future. I am extremely happy with that type of honesty and upfront business practice. They were able to get a tech out for the plumbing work the same day, he called before coming out and he have plenty of lead time before he arrived in case I was not at home. Excellent service- I will be calling them for any plumbing work I have in the future.

The Mission AC and plumbing team are amazing! I called to schedule an AC repair, and they were able to schedule and render the services within hours. The technician, Juan Barron was professional and well knowledgeable. He explained the issue of the AC unit and went in depth to explain what caused the issue. They are pros at what they do, and it shows. FYI they also have a club member program which in my opinion is a must to enroll. This includes year round maintenance and additional maintenance services depending on which program you enroll. Do not let all the good reviews fool you. While the Technician was friendly and seemingly knowledgeable, either he or the company (or both) is terribly unethical. Their quotes for replacing two water heaters nears $7k in a fairly new home with no need for any major work (as supported by 3 other companies). I thought ARS was bad, but these guys are worse. Not only was the focus not on need for new water heaters but also it was entirely about selling other services and useless equipment. I would stay away from this company, you will be glad you did. I'd be happy to answer any question or rebuttal.Update: I really appreciated the call back from Mission and their rep more clearly laid out more details of their quote. I still think the price is fairly high for a water heater replacement. At $2500 per water heater, the price seems like there is way too much overhead that customers are trying to support. I would appreciate a more detailed cost to tell me exactly what I am paying for along categorical lines. The Rheem water heater is about $600, parts are about $150 max, labor for 4 hours @ $100/hr (this is a one person job) is more than reasonable; add in a buffer of $200 (in case I missed anything) and you should not be much higher than about $1300-$1400. I am still confused why this simple job should be $2500

The young technician was was genuinely conconcerned for the welfare of my elderly parents. Not only the service but the cost. I don't normally leave reviews but I was pleasantly surprised.

Ryan Case did a heater check in prep for the winter months. He took pictures to show me what he evaluated. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I signed up for the annual ac/heater check program. Mission is a great company. They re-piped our house last April and did a great job. The timeline was very tight and they got it all done.

Mission A/C & Plumbing appeared to perform good work, but the pricing is extremely expensive (in my opinion). Looking back I should have gotten a few different quotes had I known the end cost would be so much. They charged $690 to reconnect the exhaust vent on my hot water heater. Time (2 hours) and material was likely less than $200 so I spotted Mission A/C & Plumbing a nice $500 on that job.The Tech that came out (Matthew) seemed very knowledgeable and also assisted my wife in taking pictures of a mold issue in our attic. He went above and beyond and for that I thank him which helps with a 4 star rating. Matthew was able to come to the house on short notice and I also liked how he provided an actual estimated time of arrival and not some time between noon and 6:00 pm.A few more comments on pricing: Roof access on a 3 story house to reseal a vent was $300 (not too unusual), but to change the roof jack for the hot water heater was $525 which again seemed excessive.

I use Mission A/C & Plumbing regularly for all my needs. They were always clear and concise with the entire situation and I always know what to expect. In one case, I had a major issue with my house that was caused by the previous seller. The tech from Mission came out and told me that I should go back to the installer before paying Mission. In the end it saved me a bunch of money. I'm glad to have them on my side!

Mission AC is always our go-to. They are quick and very timely. They are reliable when they say they will arrive and always give updates on their timing. Juan is especially helpful. He fixed everything, but stayed longer to ensure it worked perfectly. Very professional!

I had my furnace blower fan go out and Joel with Mission AC came out on Tuesday to take a look at what needed to be fixed and provide me with a quote. He immediately found the issue and was very polite. It was at the end of the day so he had to pickup the replacement parts from the Goodman vendor the next morning. On Wednesday, he came back and knocked out the repair as well as recharged my freon. Throughout both days, Joel was walking me through what he was seeing, what all the moving parts of the system do, and what to look out for. This was what I truly found exceptional due to it made me more knowledgeable of what was going on and not just a service call repair. How quick everything was handled was also very appreciated but my main thumbs up still goes towards how he took his time to educate me about the system.Thank you Joel.

Casey was an amazing Plumber. After a disastrous encounter with a contractor who broke our main water line, Casey was able to come in and do the necessary repairs right away. He also noticed several hazards left behind by the contractors (open sewer lines, open AC lines) that would’ve caused huge problems for us down the road. I would highly recommend this service

Casey Meyer quickly diagnosed my upstairs leak after cutting into the sheetrock of my master closet directly below the bathroom. After determining my toilet flange needed to be replaced, he discovered that there was a definite builder defect in the way the toilet flange was installed below the tile. Casey brought to my attention that the subflooring was saturated and that I should immediately contact my builder. Casey took pictures along the way to document every step of what he discovered. I ended up using that evidence to hold the builder accountable for poor workmanship. After weeks of going back and forth with my builder and threatening with a lawsuit, the builder did step in and take over the restoration. It turns out that my other upstairs potty was also leaking due to the same circumstance.I am grateful for Casey's guidance which ultimately saved me several thousands of dollars.

I was very pleased with the salesman and he was able to accommodate our budget. The workers however could have been more professional. They left trash with pizza crusts, insulation and duct tape in our front yard. They didn’t clean the insulation that came out of there vents all over the house and somehow the sealant glue fell on the carpet near our stairs.

I have had air flow issues in my townhouse for and had been told by other company that I needed to install electronic dampers and zoning plus new ducts. The Tech that came out was very unprofessional and purposefully fried the contractor in my furnace after we agreed to a price for his troubleshooting trying to get more money.

David H of Mission was extremely professional and helpful. He diagnosed the problem with my HVAC (a musty smell) and recommended how to fix it, by flushing the drain line and cleaning the evaporator coil. This is the second time I've used Mission and both times they have been excellent.

Mission did a great job in helping me out in a pinch. When I called, they quickly set up an appointment when it was convenient for me. The windows of time they gave me were 2 hours, which is nice (I've had companies in the past give me a 4 hour window which is hard to work around). The called before they were on their way and were done very quickly. I needed a new thermostat, and I appreciated the fact that they did not make me feel stupid or behind the times when I said I didn't want anything fancy like the Nest, though I'm sure they would have been equally qualified to set me up with one and teach me how to use it. My veterinary clinic (built in 1978) began to get very hot during the day, and the AC had to run constantly just to keep it semi-tolerable. I had three different AC companies come out to figure out why it was not cooling. They all told me something different, and all their fixes, of course, would carry hefty price tags. None of the three companies diagnosed the problem correctly. Their assessments of the situation just did not make sense.Finally, I called Mission AC, and David came out to take a look. When he described what he thought was wrong, it made perfect sense. The fix was going to take a lot of work, because so many of our components were extremely outdated...but the quoted price was very reasonable. In fact, all three other companies were nearly double for far less actual work and equipment. And it turns out none of the other companies would have actually fixed the problem!The Mission Crew (Brent and Carolyn) were great, and did a great deal of work after hours, so as not to interrupt our business and to speed the work along.There were a few minor tweaks that had to be made to get the balance of air flow just right. But even though they had already been paid in full, Mission did not hesitate to come back out in a timely manner to get things perfect.Now, I have a comfortable, cool business even on the hottest days. These guys are top-notch, honest, and don't waste time getting the job done. I would recommend Mission AC to anyone who needs quality AC work done at a fair price.

I was able to set up a routine maintenance for our heating system two days in advance (during the first cold snap of the year!) Anthony arrived at our house an hour into the the two hour window, and was respectful of social distancing and masking during COVID. During the routine service, he discovered that the carbon monoxide vent had been dislodged during our recent roof replacement. The heating system was cutting off due to an imbalance in the system, and we had no idea we were being poisoned! The issue was quickly repaired.

I highly recommend Mission Air Conditioning. Everything about the experience was great from the representative who booked our appointment to the technician Roel who serviced our AC. Our AC wasn't working consistently for a few weeks and we initially called another company who came to our house for 10 minutes, said the AC just needed to be cleaned and then charged us $80 for hosing off our AC unit. Roel spent almost 2 hours identifying what the issue could be and was able to fix the unit. He was knowledgeable and a true professional. I found Mission based on google reviews and they did not disappoint!

My husband and I just switched AC companies to Mission AC. Working with another vendor, we thought we were going to have to replace a major part of our unit, so we asked Mission for a second opinion. A big question of ours was whether the part was under warranty (through previous home owners), which would inform whether to replace the individual part, or get a new unit altogether, with a new warranty. David worked very hard to research our warranty. He was so persistent with his contacts at the warranty company and ended up saving a couple thousand dollars. David and his install crew were highly professional and very easy to communicate with.

Our A/C broke in the afternoon and David and his team were at our house at 8:00am the next morning and had it fixed by the afternoon. Also pointed out some issues that could have some affect on the cooling with my system and made some recommendations on repairs to make it perform better without any high pressure tactics to do it right then and there. By far one more simplest experience  I've  had with a contractor. The owner personally called me on Friday night and walked me through some suggestions to get my A/C running. When those didn't work, an A/C tech was at my house the next morning fixing the problem. Where have you guys been all my life?!? Used Mission for the first time yesterday and I am so very impressed with their professionalism and customer service. Casey was top-notch from start to finish, clearing our problem and educating us as to why/how it was happening. All for an extremely reasonable price. I'll never use another plumbing company again. You guys rock. Especially Casey ;-)

I had an issue after my thermostat would no longer turn my a/c unit on. I called on a Wednesday evening and had a technician at my house the next morning. They quickly diagnosed the issue and had the problem taken care of in 15 minutes with great customer service. Roel was fantastic when I asked about having an annual inspection he offered to take care of it on the spot and diagnosed a dying capacitor and replaced it for me. I will definitely be using Mission going forward!

Completely taking advantage of people, especially during a pandemic is disgraceful and disgusting. That’s exactly what we got when we chose to use Mission after recommendations from our neighborhood Facebook group. From the moment I placed the call for service I was being upsold on replacing my unit, without anyone stepping into my property. This theme continued with each conversation we had with multiple employees plus follow up calls for someone to come do a “we recommend” visit. Even after describing our unemployment situation it continued. After they replaced a condenser for $450, the AC went out again one week later. They sent someone out and after 5 minutes he said the unit was completely burned up and would have to be replaced. 10k, nothing they can do.Husband took a chance later that night as we were melting and on the verge of a breakdown, and fixed it by replacing a wire for 10$. Had a second opinion by a professional a few days later and said the unit was fine! He checked everything thoroughly. We called to talk this over with Mission. Was told the call was being recorded and would be given to management. No response. I will be reporting them to the BBB next.

I wish we had called earlier. We have had trouble with our tankless hot water heater for months. Josh came out and now it works great.

Mission AC and Plumbing did a great job installing a new water heater. They provided a quick response with qualified professional technicians. They fixed the broken pipe. Less than 6 months later the leak came back. I scheduled them to come take a look because of the warranty and they cancelled on me 2 times. I have been without running water for 4 days now because they will not work OT and cannot fit me into their schedule. I wouldn't rely on them. Go elsewhere. 10/8/19.

We were in need of specialized service for our ductless system. David and his team did a great job of evaluating and servicing the units. David was especially helpful in answering questions and explaining issues with the system. Quotes for repairs were priced fairly and the work was accomplished quickly and efficiently. We plan to stick with Mission AC!

The actual service and professionalism of Mission AC was good. We had our HVAC unit replaced and signed up for 1 year of HVAC tune-up. The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable.However, the reason I'm leaving a 2-star review is for their business practice. It's been a year since we first signed up for their annual tune-up plan, which VERY clearly states it is for 1 year only (I have a copy of the invoice that I am staring at right now). They emailed me to say they would now automatically charge me again for the next year unless I say otherwise.That is horribly dishonest! I called and complained and they said that is why they sent an email to warn me so I can cancel if necessary. The default should NEVER be to charge someone without their approval, regardless of the reason. If I missed the email and they actually charged me, I definitely would have taken this to the BBB.As much as I respected the work of the technicians, the relatively high prices and shady business practices mean I will stay away from Mission AC and tell all my acquaintances and coworkers to stay away as well unless they change this tactic.

I am happy with Mission on the AC side! Techs are always timely and give you notice with identification. They are careful with your belongings. They do a nice report with pictures. Wish I could remember my tech’s name today. He was great!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I normally do not bother with writing online reviews but after the HORRIBLE experience with this company, I feel people should be aware!!I called this company after reading all the positive reviews but after my initial call to set up the appointment, things started going downhill.First off, the person who picked up the phone kept insisting she could not locate my home using Google maps which I found odd since we just had a big party and none of my 20+ guests had trouble finding my home on Google maps or on their GPS.Second, I specifically called to have both my AC units checked, cleaned, and also to find out why little rust particles are dropping from one of my air ducts onto my dining table. The technician and his helper did not get that message. When I did show them the particles they insist that it is just dust even after I showed that it leaves a brownish orange tint after I wiped a paper towel over the table. When I questioned him further, he admitted he does not know why or where the particles are coming from.They did do the regular checks on the units but did a sloppy job cleaning the outside units in my opinion.Third, they did not know how to use one of my thermostats because they did not hit all the keys to finalize the set temperature. I had to follow them each time to make sure they set the temperature properly.Fourth, the guy told me both my AC units were low on Freon and I needed to add a total of 7 pounds of Freon. It seemed strange to me that both units to be so low especially when they have been working fine. But after the technicians from Mission left, my AC started making really loud noises and just would not cool the house. So I called another AC technician the next day to get a second opinion. And this second technician told me that only one unit is low on Freon and after Freon was added, both units were working fine.Fifth, the guys from Mission also told me that the reason for the low Freon was due to a leak in both coils which would cost over $2400 to fix just one. I was in shock. I will get someone else to look into the state of the coils and post an update once it is done.

Mission is always excellent. Matthew was just here. He very quickly addressed our issue and easily answered all of our questions. All of the Mission techs have been great, very professional, and really seem to know their stuff.

Joel was the tech that came to my house. The guy was outstanding. It was Labor Day weekend and I was expecting a huge bill for the callout. I was very surprised, when Joel was finished, the bill was just a normal charge and I wasn't gouged. On the plus side, Joel explained to me of their twice a year check for a decent charge. Thanks Mission A/C. Your number is now on my refrigerator.

Roel Murillo came out to inspect the ac unit because the air out of the vents was no longer cold. He found immediately the gas charge was low and offered to refill it, making clear the refill could leak out and what I really need for the longer term is a modern condenser and evaporator units. I took a chance on refilling the R-22 gas charge and 30 minutes later I have cold AC again.Mission AC has good communication in regards to setting the appointment and notifying you when the technician is in route.

Outstanding service and attention to customers' needs. We recently replaced a 22 year old system with a 2 and 4 ton Daikin variable speed inverter units. David did a great job explaining options and pros/cons of each. We love the new systems and felt that we got a fair deal from Mission. David and his team will be highly recommended to friends and family in the Houston area.

I noticed that they did some extra work without asking to be compensated. The finished install looks great and correctly done.*Comments*I actually purchased two Daikin two stage systems from them which I highly recommend if you can spare a little extra up front now. It will pay for itself with cost savings later. Not only that but your home will feel more comfortable since you will have the advantage of humidity control.

We had our air conditioning quit overnight. We called first thing Saturday morning around 7:45 am and Mission AC promptly answered the call. A technician (Roel) was at our house at 10 am and by 11 am our unit was completely fixed. Roel was extremely thorough and very helpful. He walked through what it would cost to fix before doing anything. We were extremely pleased and wouldn’t hesitate to use Mission for any further needs.

My tenant's A/C unit went out last Thursday evening. I took a chance and started making phone calls for A/C businesses in the Houston area, but I didn't expect anyone to pick up. Even though it was well after business hours, David picked up the phone, and told me he could be out there the following day. He even agreed to contact the tenant directly to coordinate scheduling. After paying a hefty plumbing bill two weeks ago for this same rental house, I was wrecked as I waited for a phone call from David.David called me from the house the following day, told me he was there, and that he had already fixed the problem. Although the unit is probably on its last leg, David saved it! My tenant was happy. I was thrilled. Words cannot adequately express the relief I felt when I learned I didn't have to buy a new A/C system.I don't know how long the A/C unit will last, but I'll call Mission A/C to service it from here on out. And when it finally goes out for good, Mission will have my business. The customer service, as well as the price to make the repair, actually made me smile.I don't live in Houston anymore, so my contact with David was by phone. He could have easily convinced my tenant and me that the system was beyond repair. There are people in the industry -- as in any industry -- that would have done just that. I'm so thankful for this man's skill, but I'm more thankful for his integrity.

Juan was courteous and efficient. He completed our annual heater maintenance and diagnosed an issue. He illustrated the problem and gave us options to repair now or later. We have been nothing but pleased with our experiences with Mission Air and Juan certainly added to that feeling.

Henry was very helpful and informative when he came out the first time. A technician for another project I had came out later and the breaker was turned off. I woke up to high temperatures and no air the next day. I called Mission again and Henry stopped in the middle of his other projects to come and investigate. I am relatively new in this house so I didn’t realize how old the heater was. It turned out to be filled with sediment, 17 years old, and undersized per code. Matthew was out here this morning before 8 am with a new heater and it was installed in about 1 1/2 hours. Matthew has 34 years in the business and I really appreciated his expertise, punctuality, and cleanliness.3/9/21. Joel came out this morning for HVAC maintenance. He was kind, professional, and very helpful. He suggested adding compressor savers for more efficient usage of electricity and the HVACs themselves. I really appreciate the promptness and follow through.

Mission has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, to the point that I immediately had to get online and write this review. I wish I could remember her name, but the office lady answered on the first ring when I called for service yesterday. She was so easy to talk to and got us set up with an appointment for the very next day (today).The tech, Roel, showed up almost 45 minutes early (and they even called to let us know when he was on the way). That's all rare enough for a service company already, but then my husband said Roel was very nice and quick to solve our issue. We actually thought we had a huge issue but it turned out to be something minor that Roel solved in maybe 30 minutes. He even gave advice on what to watch out for with our AC, since it's getting pretty old.I also love that they email you a copy of the invoice right after service. I couldn't be happier with Mission and we will definitely use them for all of our AC maintenance needs in the future.

My experience with Mission was great. I had a routine maintenance check/cleaning. The tech came within the window of time and even called when he was on his way. He was professional and courteous - the whole experience was seamless.

I was hoping to have my kitchen faucet fixed but Mr. Peck said I needed to replace the aerator. I would like to know whether or not my faucet can or will be fixed. I appreciated him coming into my house properly adorned for COVID-19. I would like to hear from him again regarding repair of my faucet.

I've only owned by home for about 2 months and my a/c system was not cooling properly. I called an a/c technician who had installed a system in our previous home and he quoted me $12,000 to install a new system. As you can imagine, I wanted a second opinion so I called Mission and they came out the very next day. The technician went into the attic and took a video of my problem to show to me. Turns out I had a big hole in the transition piece that the previous homeowner had attempted to repair and didn't do a very good job. Half of my cool air was blowing right into the attic. My husband is a very handy guy so I told the tech he would repair the hole himself and the tech told me which products I should get to do the repair properly. I really appreciate Mission not trying to sell me a new unit or telling me I needed work done that I really didn't. My husband did the repairs himself and now my house is cool and the a/c cycles off during the day like it should. Mission was very honest and saved me a lot of money and, although I didn't need them to repair my a/c system this time, I will most definitely call them in the future.

Casey is a very informative plumber/technician and knew what he was talking about. Was very professional as well coming in with a mask, gloves, and shoe covers. Would highly recommend Casey and the Mission AC and Plumbing company.

Great service!My A/C fan motor went out at 1:30 AM. Mission had a tech at my house at 8 AM that morning. The technicians were very knowledgeable and gave you plenty of advice and options to fix my A/C unit.

These guys changed out a furnace and duct work in my attic. The guy that did the estimate, Dan, was a serious professional. He was knowledgeable, took time to explain everything to me and DIDN'T try and upsell me anything I didn't need or want.The crew that came by did a good job. Dan came by a couple times to check on them during the process. I had one small issue, though. They didn't pick up some of the small pieces of trash in the attic. Things like old zip ties and pieces of pipe that they cut were left up there and I had to go up there and clean that up afterwards. It wasn't a big deal and it wasn't enough to give them less than 5 stars, just something I wanted to point out.The price was excellent. I got several estimates from some of the highest rated companies on Yelp and they were the best, by a clear margin. The estimate was free. I would highly recommend this company for your heating and cooling problems, especially over larger companies like John Moore and ARS. The rating is legit.UPDATE: Literally 8 hours after I wrote the review, I went to lower the thermostat and the fan they installed started making a loud sound and wasn't working. I'm having one of their guys come by tomorrow to hopefully fix it. It's only been in for 3 weeks, so I think it's nothing too major. I'll update further on how they handle this situation.

A couple of weeks ago we had a major power surge that hit my home and took out a few appliances including on of my A/C units. I was in dire need of diagnosing what was wrong with the A/C as it was getting hot! I had lots of difficulty contacting and getting my regular A/C company to come out. After several days, I gave up and looked up Great A/C companies in Houston. I knew it was kind of a hail mary, but after contacting the first one on the list and not getting a response, I tried Mission. They answered and setup an appointment early the next day. They called before arriving, diagnosed the situation, and even had the part in stock for my old Ducane A/C unit. All was fixed on the same day and the best part was the great attitude and service-oriented nature of the technician Roel Murillo. He did a great job and I am now signing up for the service maintenance plan with the company. Thanks Mission Air!

Absolute worse customer service. They do NOT want your business unless it fits in their schedule and then they make up excuses. They scheduled my appointment and 5 mins later they called back and said their master plumber was not honoring appts based on the coupons they have posted online. So I just requested them to just come out anyway to diagnose the problem. Their agent literally told us find someone else to do it.UPDATE: We received a call back from the scheduler who made the appointment then cancelled...she told us she is about to be fired and shouldnt have lied to us and said we are on the do not service list. Unbelievable! Does such a list actually exist? Back story is we have used Mission once before and the 1st time the tech tried to swindle us from a $90 job into an over $1000 job...we said no way! Not only did the tech not fix the issue he made it worse. A Master tech called us, sent another tech out, and low and behold the vanity drain just needed a heavy duty snake to get through the clog. Long story short after pulling some teeth they did job. Since then we moved and ran into a similar problem and decided to give mission a second chance..big mistake! Aside from the stress of the plumbing issue we had to deal with this company who has zero ethical values and is not in business to serve the community but they are crooks who try to make a your plumbing problem worse only for you to pay more for a repair. So by all means Mission plumbing keep me on your Do not service list. It's sad you would fire a girl for scheduling appts for you and then making her lie to customers...shame on you! I will be sure to let the community know of your tactics.Another update: This morning received this text from the the girl who scheduled the appt stating she got fired. I don't know if she is being sarcastic with us but it's terrible how this company treats its customers...and employees. I've never experienced a situation like this but there will be a complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau. This company needs to be stopped in it's tracks! Mr. David Lewis, Owner as mentioned on the Better Business Bureau site...you should be ashamed of yourself for running a business like this!Owner is accusing us of not paying but I do have evidence of them being paid as soon as the invoice was received...at the time of the incident the tech advised us we would be billed now if it took them 4 months to send us a bill then whose issue is that...their billing department not mine! Since this latest incident also this company has put my phone # with false name and DOB on numerous solicitation lists so now my phone is continues to get robocalls...a disturbing and dirty tricks this company and their employees do when they feel they have been wronged. For some reason this company plays nasty tricks for revenge. I will continue to seek action to remedy this corrupt company.

Anthony was very professional and very friendly. He was very patient in explaining to us the issue and telling us how to solve it. Will definitely recommend and might possibly consider using him as our permanent AC guy.

Excellent service. We had a clogged drain from the ac that was causing a leak in our ceiling. Our technician Roel not only unclogged the drain but also made improvements that would reduce the risk going forward as well as explained ways we could prevent a clog. We will use them again for any ac repairs.

We had a wonderful experience with Mission! A big named competitor (John Moore, to be specific) came to our place twice, and on each occasion, left us having fixed nothing and not really sure what the issue was with our A/C system. We found Mission by doing some Google searches. Roel came the next day and found a super-easy fix to our problem! He was courteous and professional. We were so relieved as John Moore made it seem like the problem could possibly cost thousands, but Mission charged way less for fixing us up. I would highly recommend these folks and will continue to use them in the future!

I was very pleased with Rey and his partner in providing me with professional suggestions to resolve my issues with cooling a single room in the second floor of the house. They showed me a comparison of a mini split cost vs. replacing an old central unit. Very orderly, respectful, and pros.

Mission Air performed our water heater flush today and services were perfect as always. Townes was our technician and very knowledgeable, we always have extra questions and learned something along the way. We will continue to use Mission Air for our AC, water heater and furnace services.

Our AC unit was due for maintenance. I had called another HVAC company (suggested by the previous owners of my home) to come by but after being given an outrageous quote of unnecessary work that they said was needed I called Mission Air Conditioning. They came the same day (on time!!!) and inspected our unit and fount that there was a part that was left installed that was not supposed to be there, which was causing freon to leak. They were completely honest about what work was needed rather than trying to sell unnecessary labor/parts (which is what the other HVAC company did). I really appreciate how fast they were able to respond to my needs! Their technician Juan was very kind. professional, honest and allowed me to look over his shoulder while he worked on my unit. He explained what he was going to do and explained how my ac unit works and what to do if anything were to go wrong. Also, it definitely helped us financially going with Mission rather than others because I was not cheated! I am a bit concerned though that our AC will most likely not last much longer, but I am optimistic that team at Mission Air Conditioning will help us out when that time comes. Thank you!!

So I had mission ac come through last week for replacement on evaporation coil (best quote received) and that went well. They were very professional and kind. Their was a little fumbling about final cost but still better than estimates received prior. Today I simply needed my pipe flushed and Jose was awesome, professional and helpful. I used Mission AC to replace my HVAC last year after a recommendation from a colleague. They offered a competitive quote from a polite and non pushy technician. I recently called them out after finding an issue with my system. I rang in the evening and Roel was out the following day. As always he was polite, knowledgeable and extremely helpful and my AC is back up and running. I highly recommend this company.

This was one if the worst experiences we have had with a repair man. Justin Nedina was rude, disrespectful, and dishonest. He took two minutes to look at the issue and then came back telling me I need to replace everything. After he left, I went back and looked at the system and found the problem was something caused by Mission during a previous job and fixed it quite easily in less than 5 minutes.

Bought an old circa 1950’s house which I knew had a cracked waste water line under the slab/bathtub, common in houses built in the 1950’s. Contacted Mission Plumbing and Troy Banegas came out and gave me a bid to repair. I knew it would be expensive but it was in line with other quotes I had received earlier.Kind of hard to let go of this much money but I knew that the crack had to be repaired so I called Troy to schedule. They worked for 2-1/2 days on the repair, and even found another cracked pipe, which they also repaired, and now we’re just waiting on the city inspector to approve the job and the cleanup crew to fill in the hole.Even though I was expecting to pay something additional for the newly discovered broken pipe there was no charge over the original quote.Clean, professional, courteous and true to their word, I would recommend you call Troy and Mission for your plumbing needs.

Was able to get a quick, last minute appointment to repair a leak in my bathroom drain. Technician was very friendly, knowledgeable and offered an alternative to replacing the whole drain. Would recommend to friends!

I have used Mission AC in the past and they have met my expectations, but this time it was a serious disappointment. This spring I even payed for their spring maintenance and service warranty with the hope of avoiding any costly repairs this summer, but instead I received poor service at a high cost. When my AC went out I called to request a service tech and asked if the cost would be covered under my summer warranty, of course it wasn’t and no one at Mission could give me an explanation as to why it wasn’t covered. The day of the service the cost was $305.00 for replacing the capacitor, the tech was done and gone shortly after giving me the quote and making the repairs, not bothering to make sure the AC was actually working. That same day I called to inform them the AC was still not working, but they couldn’t make it back until the next morning. At that time I was given another bill for $441.00 this time for a fan motor replacement, while refusing to credit me for the failed work that had been done the day before. It appears Mission AC and Plumbing has decided to pursue growth at the cost of customer service. As for myself I will be contacting another service company the next time my AC is in need of repairs.

Have used Mission AC several times now in the past year (the joys of having an OLD system). Every time they have been extremely quick in their response time to a service request and have always either been on-time, or given me prompt and accurate updates to their projected arrival time. Technicians are also very professional and always wear plastic booties over their work boots to keep from tracking in outside dirt. Highly recommend.

These guys may be fine for regular a/c work, but do not let them talk you into a mini-split system. They can install them, but their ability to support, repair or even explain them is atrocious. On the positive side, you will become an adept home A/C repairman as you spend hours on YouTube figuring out how to take it apart and put it back together yourself. The service man's best guess as a diagnosis is It is humid. Only $150 for that little gem in the Houston summer.

I could easily give 1 star but giving credit to Mission for making it right. I was very pleased by the inspector that came out. He diagnosed the problem quickly and I was confident in them. Gave me a quote for a new coil system on the upstairs unit and for float switches. I declined the float switches. Work crew came out just 2 days later right after July 4th holiday. My wife said the crew was a bit rude and seemed annoyed at the job. In the end they charged my wife $500 more than the quote. I called immediately and found out they had installed the float switches I had declined. The office person tried to argue with me. First he told me that it was code and had to be done. Why hadn’t that been said when the quote was done? Ohh, on second look it wasn’t code and it was a mistake on their part. They said I could keep the float switches since I already paid for them or they could come later and take the switches back out and refund the money. I of course chose the refund. The next day they came and removed the switches. I come home afterward to find the upstairs unit completely off and suffocatingly hot upstairs. The installers took the float switches and left the unit without being sure it was working. I called immediately and was told it would be an emergency fee for the call out. Uh uh. Told them they screwed it up and had to come out immediately to fix it. Original inspector from Mission came out and found they had put a wire in the wrong place. What a mess. The unit is fixed. I’m expecting the refund this coming week. Just really feel it was all handled poorly after the initial mistake of putting in equipment I had declined. Front desk tried arguing with me instead of taking care of their mistake.

I'm trying to stay on top of things before the summer heat kicks in, so I just had Mission AC out to my house for an A/C check and tune up. The service was great. They were on-time, professional, and friendly. I will definitely use their service again and would recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Our AC went out. We called a different company, and they told us the exterior unit was completely shot and had to be replaced entirely. Looking to get a second opinion, I called Mission and asked them to come out to give an estimate to replace the unit.When they came out, they performed an inspection and found that the unit was in fact working just fine. There was just a minor problem with the power supply that was a cheap fix. I expected them to come out and give me a quote on an expensive project, instead they fixed the problem very easily. They showed up on time and fixed the problem. they wouldn’t give a price over the phone which, I’m pretty sure they know within reason what they’re going to charge for a clogged drain. They hid behind the, “we have to evaluate it the issue, we charge 79 to come out, but apply that to the repair”, it’s a bs practice but they could come out quickly. They up-sell the entire time they’re on site. up-sell hot water heater services, up-sell a maintenance package, etc. like I said, they showed up on time, they fixed the problem, but they were very expensive and clearly into selling additional services the entire time.

Installed a mini-split system in what will be our nursery. Install completed in a timely manner and of quality. They also offer a wide variety of options, unlike one of the other quotes I received from a different company. The unit has a fantastic warranty and I am very pleased with the work performed!

Be person that came to look at the unit both times was awesome she was there on time she took care of the problem immediately and I couldn't ask for anything better. If you call on AN off our day or time they can still be at your house within an hour. You pay a small service fee but at least you get your hair fixed :)

Had a gas leak during the winter storm so Centerpoint shut off my gas and took my meter. Mission confirmed an appointment and then cancelled it last moment because they weren't doing gas work. Ridiculously unprofessional.

Mission AC has amazed me yet again. We have them come do tune ups every 6 months. Earlier this month, when we turned on our AC, we had no cold air. Mission AC came out immediately and spent a very long time trying to correctly diagnose the problem, which turned out to be a blockage that was very difficult to locate. One of the technicians even came back to our house after his shift to rule out another potential issue. I am pretty sure many AC companies would have just replaced everything until they figured it out, which would have cost us in excess of $6,000.Mission AC figured out exactly where the problem was, fixed it perfectly and declined to charge us a penny since they felt that the blockage occurred on their watch. The owner informed me that while he was not sure if it was something we could have prevented from our last tune up, I would not feel right asking you to pay for something that there was even a slight chance that we could have prevented. They replaced a meter and spent hours of labor making sure the work was perfect. The work could easily have been $1,000. And they also replaced an AC water pipe in our attic that WE likely broke at no charge. They replaced our cheap pipe with a nice heavy-duty one.This is a classy operation with an honest owner and employees with integrity. I cannot say enough!

We had been without an upstairs A/C for over a week. We called Mission A/C on a Friday and they promptly arrived on Monday morning. To our delight the Mission repair tech noticed our A/C dilemma was due to a power issue completely unrelated to the A/C unit. He addressed the power issue, our A/C was up and running, and he charged us nothing (0.00), not even a charge for the visit! We will always call Mission for our A/C needs!

I know David through church and needed another opinion on my 14 year old heater. I had been using a company the past several years to service my HVAC needs and just before a recent 30 degree cold snap I tried to turn on my heater and it wasn’t lighting. I called my usual contractor and he couldn’t get to me for two days. By the time he got to me he gave me a two hour window (10-12) and showed up at 12:30 (30 minutes late). After looking over my unit he offered to fix my heater for $1000 or replace it for $9000. Told me it was old and had too many problems and wasn’t safe. Since it was about to get cold I called another local HVAC contractor who came out that evening to replace my igniter and give us heat. I still wanted someone to tune-up my system and give me an opinion on replacing it so i reached out to Mission A/C. I was scheduled right away and my two hour window was 2-4 PM. To my surprise i received a call from Roel that he was actually 30 minutes AHEAD of schedule! Was extremely clean, thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. Inspected my heater and showed me in detail that everything was safe and working fine. He called me up in the attic to show me exactly what he did and that the only thing he saw that needed fixing was the capacitor that was still working but on its last leg. He hooked it up to the tester to show me the reading it was getting and what it did. I was thoroughly pleased with Roel and his work. I would highly recommend Mission A/C to anyone and will be calling them in the Spring for routine maintenance on my equipment.

No follow up. I needed a new control board for my HVAC. I was told it was ordered and would take a few days. It has been over a week and I still have not heard from them. I called another company and the issue was resolved in 48 hours.

Mission AC did a fantastic job replacing all the duct work in my house. They were clean, efficient and extremely professional. David Lewis was great to work with. The general contractor who was in charge of the remodel was extremely impressed with Mission AC's work.

Overpriced! I suspected my A/C had a clogged drain pipe because I saw a bit of water in the drain pan. I didn't have any trouble scheduling the appointment, and the technician, Rogelio S. was on time. However, he didn't perform a thorough inspection (i.e. didn't check refrigerant levels or if the rooms were properly cooling), yet he charged me $79 just to tell me I needed $1,065 worth of work. I didn't agree. I found another A/C technician to flush the drain pipe, install a shut off valve and float switch for a fraction of what Mission Air quoted me.

First rate product. First rate service. The thermostat died when it was 35 degrees, and the service person came late in the day and worked until 11pm. He could have made excuses and left us in the cold. He did not. We totally endorse this company in the strongest possible terms.

Roel diagnosed the problem with my furnace, replaced a snapdisc limit switch and fixed some minor wiring issues. The heater is performing as it should. Roel communicated well with me while I was at work during the entire process. Thank you Roel! I certainly recommend Mission A/C & Plumbing and have used them multiple times for various tasks.

The company was responsive and prompt, and appears to have done a good job. Pricing was on the high side. $450 to clear two AC drain lines and replace a small PVC pipe under a sink.

We started working with Mission early in the summer when our almost 20 year old system was not cooling the house. A technician added Freon, and we made it through worst of the summer. In September it suddenly stopped cooling. I called right before closing time, and Jose was able to get out to our house in an hour. We needed a new capacitor, which he had on the truck. The house was cool again after dinner. A few weeks later the system shut down again after we set the thermostat too low, causing it to work too hard and overheat. Although Jose got it going again, we knew it was time for a new system.David Lewis (the owner) and I had a long talk about Ruud vs. Trane. David answered my questions patiently. Jose came over with some literature and sat at the table explaining various aspects of each brand to my husband and me. He took careful measurements of the very small closet where the system had to go and got us on the schedule for the upcoming weekend.On Saturday morning Brent and Carolyn arrived to install the system. David and Jose came by to go over the final details of how to fit it into the closet. Because of potential flooding in our neighborhood, our compressor has to be raised several feet off the ground. David was not happy with the platform that our old compressor was sitting on. He gave instructions to Carolyn and Brent to build a new platform to his specifications. The new platform is a work of art. It blends in with our house and even garnered compliments from the city inspector.Getting the new Trane system into the closet was an arduous task. At first Brent did not think it was going to fit. I was sure that sheetrock would have to be cut in the ceiling, but in the end the unit fit perfectly, and we even had room to put a media air filter below it without any need for sheetrock work or even touch up painting. A humidifier was installed (for winter), and the thermostat was replaced with a new, state-of-the-art touchscreen thermostat that controls the temperature and humidity.The new system is a thousand times better than the old one. It is very quiet and much more efficient. The old system was either blowing cold out full blast or not at all. This Trane system has infinitely variable speeds thanks to the DC motor in the compressor so once the house is cool (or warm) it drops to a lower speed to keep the temperature more constant without the full on-full off pattern of older systems.We have had a lot of contractors work on this house in the 25 years we have lived here. Our interaction and communication with Mission was the best we have ever had with a company. Choosing Mission was a great decision.

I had a problem with AC not cooling enough in a weekend of middle of july. After their standard initial proposal for a new compressor, I requested just adding freon. It was very expensive; I paid over $100/pound. I coughed up close to $600 for the service. Shop around before you call Mission. They looked opportunistic.

Perfect timing. A/C goes out at 7:00 P.M. the day before Labor day. With a 3 month old, waiting in the 90 degree heat wasn't an option so it was either a hotel for $150 for the night or find a company who was willing to come out.
