Jim's Plumbing and Heating was a great find. They called me back within the hour that I initially called, confirmed the appointment the day before...and then came on time. He was great about explaining the big problem, identifying and doing the quick fixes on the spot and leaving the area cleaner than he found it! Thank you Jim's Plumbing and Heating for an A+ job!

After 24 hours attempting to unblock our kitchen sink drain, using ever available method, we finally called Roto-Rooter. The service tech, Ron, showed up at 9pm as scheduled, quickly evaluated the situation and quoted the price. He was both professional and friendly, and completed the work in short order. He also provided us recommendations for drain maintenance going forward so we won’t get into this predicament again.

Ralph, who arrived around two hours after I had called, identified the issue and fixed it in an hour. If money is tight for you, less is not for you. However, if you're looking for top-notch service with affordable prices and a quick turnaround, I don't think you can go wrong. I'm hoping things are better now.

I had an excellent experience with a plumbing issue. Maddaleni Plumbing's work was efficient, got the problem in my kitchen fixed, and at a fraction of the cost of another plumber's estimate. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. He fixed a problem in an hour an a half that two other plumbers couldn't accurately diagnose and fix.

This had to be one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. Not only did we suffer thru the hottest days of the year without cooling in our home, but it took over a month with multiple service visits each with increasing costs. At the end of the visit I did not have a stable working system until another vendor, with additional costs, came in and repaired what Boston Standard mis-wired.At the end of the day I would not recommend them, and would consider their warranty to be worth less than the paper it is written on.Edit: Apparently Joe replied to my review after posting and can’t even associate the dissatisfied customer with the correct problem. I never had a flood of my system. What I did have is over 4 different technicians from your organization visit my home to service my HVAC system, replacing several parts at your will. And to wrap it up mis-wired the system causing it to not remain stable. Either way if I could save one further client from dealing with poor service then this accurate review will have served its purpose.

I am new to the neighborhood and to home ownership, and I could not have lucked out more with finding this plumber. Super fair on prices and very communicative about problem solving. I will be calling them and only them for any plumbing issue I have in the future.

My water heater gave out at midnight last night. I was at a loss of who to contact for help. Rich Mathews was the first site to come up in my google search and I am so glad it did. He had great reviews and was local. I called right away and his wife was so nice and very helpful, Rich called back in 5 minutes, we had a Face Time chat so he could see the area. He gave me a very reasonable price over the phone and within 30 minutes he and his wife were in my driveway with a new water heater. What a great guy and great company and great couple. His work is impeccable, they cleaned up after themselves and even gave me a couple of recommendations for some good restaurants. All in all a lovely couple and ultimate professionals that take pride in their work. I will recommend Rich Mathews and Sons to all of my family and friends. Frank Formica is my favorite plumber now, discovered in Oct 2018. Fair priced, honest, gets it done, having clear communication, always sharp on time and I've got the best fair treatment ever. True pleasure to have business with. I appreciated that I was not hedged with a paging company or hidden number like other plumbing companies around here do.

Have not hired to do any work, so cannot comment on that aspect. However, when I called to ask about a problem in my bathroom, he was extremely helpful on the phone and suggested things that I can do first before having him or anybody else come over to have a look. He spent 5 to 10 minutes with me on the phone, at no charge, which is quite generous. Highly recommend calling. Said he would charge $75 to come over and take a look, FYI. Better than many other price quotes I received.

Just moved to the area, and was in need of some boiler TLC. Luckily I called these guys because man were they great, Tyler and Eric I believe were their names. Friendly, broke down all my options for repair right there on the spot. Had it fixed up in an hour. After they left something went wrong with the fitting and within five minutes these guys were back and put another 30 min of work in. Boiler is working better than ever. Call these guys for your house. They will take care of it.

DO NOT use this company! Very sketchy. First they ask $300 for membership fee+service or $300 for service only. Of course former sounds better. So they first take $300 before any service. After a service man comes to your home, they do not give a prior estimate and after a poor service they charge you a ridiculous amount and does not leave until you pay.

This guy is very very very very very expensive never call 📞for service.
