Had water pouring through basement ceiling when I ran water in kitchen sink - what a mess! Called Sunday night, and Pat came to my house within 20 minutes. He assessed the problem and told me it was a big job, and asked if it was okay if he returned Monday morning. I agreed. Pat was at my door at 7am sharp on Monday and he worked diligently until 3pm. It was very apparent that he not only knew what he was doing, but took great pride in his (excellent) work. The price was very reasonable. I will call Catano Plumbing for any future plumbing needs - and have already recommended them to several of my friends.

They did an amazing job, multiple times with my house plumbing work. Gets the work done swiftly.

Called when my boiler wouldn't start. It was 2 degrees outside. When the plumber arrived, he had a bad attitude when he walked into the door. He almost broke my nest thermostat. When we went down to the basement, he was convinced the boiler was working, but it wasn't, the house was still 54 degrees. All he did was flush out a few drops of water and added too much. Then he was flushing water out of the other boiler for the upstairs apartment no matter how many times I asked him not to. Then he made things worse by adding too much water to the upstairs boiler. So long story short, he didn't fix my boiler. I'll never call them again.

Pat was a joy to work with. We ran across several unforeseen issues with both plumbing and gas. Pat explained every issue and was able to rectify any and all problems we encountered.
Pat and his team were responsive, professional and very detail oriented. They stayed on the job until everything was fully operational.

I was changing a house water filter and was unable to get a good seal on the pipe. Desperate and in need of help, I call Catano’s number. Pat, answered the call and helped me over the phone. I know he didn’t have to and could have send someone over for an emergency call, but he did it out of his kindness. For that I am thankful and definitely will call upon them before I call anyone else. Thank you.

My water heater gave way and flooded my basement. I called Catano plumbing and they sent someone right out and pumped out my basement and replaced my water heater. They even left a couple of blowers to to dry the floor. I highly recommend them to who ever needs a qualified plumber.

I am not sure where to start. I had a 8000$ job with them. In summary, they changed their quote once the job started, the quality of work WAS HORRIBLE. and they never finished the job after chasing them for three months! Stay AWAY from these guys. All negative things apart, the quality of the work is very poor.

Initially Pat gave me a quote for 7000 after visiting the job and once they wanted to start, they increase to 8000$ after so much negotiating to keep it close to his first quote.

Every faucet installation and plumbing Paul did, he had to come back to fix the leak. In one occasion, the leak was so bad that leaked to the ceiling of the floor below on a newly painted ceiling.

Paul reorganized pipes three times for one of my vanities and yet still didn't fit the vanity, even though he had the chance to do it right before the vanity was installed. I had to cut my brand new vanity in order to be able to pull out my drawer. Both vanities work that he did, we had to cut the brand new vanity to fix the issue.

He still needs to come complete the job I already paid for and each time they bring excuses and after three months since beginning of the job still not done.

STAY AWAY from them if you want my advice.

I wish I could give the less then 1 star. I needed to install 2 Ecobee Thermostat. Which takes normally 25 mins per unit. They charged me $250/unit. Total of $500 for the work of less than 1 hr this does not include the Ecobee device.. Total Rip off. On the top of that guy is so brainless, He can't put the back plate of the unit. He just kept it hanging on the wall. why would someone keep it hanging???? Will never call them.

20 minutes work of replacing a fill valve cost me $275. Splashed water all over the floor AND on bathroom door. The guy even locked the door from inside and tried to clean up a bit using my facial wipes...

my advice to anyone who need a plumber stay from catano plumbing or you will be sorry,really sorry.

Just awfull they when to a clients house of mine and disconnected everything to the furnace and told her she needed a new one and quoted her saying it would be around $10,000.00 when the unit itself only costs under $1000.00 so she had a different company come in and with in 2 hours they had it working o and she is an elderly woman they are scam artist and they should be shut down

Grosley overcharged a customer of mine when I was Unavailable. I went by too check the work and see why it was so much. They charged over $850 for a part that cost $180 and can be changed in 30 min by any Plummer who even has half a clue but these guys must be the inventors of plumbing that's the only way I can imagine justifying the $670 an hour labor or maybe its company policy to mark up stock 600% either way these guys are crooks and would not only never recommend them to anyone but I urge anyone who has used them in the past and thought there bill might be a lil high industry standard is $100-$150 hr labor and you can look up the price of basically any parts they used on Google and get there price now add 40% and that's extremely generous. Now see how close that number is to what you paid. If its a diff of more then $150 I urge you leave a comment telling of it. There are too many so called professionals ripping ppl off who just don't know any better or are to trusting and its giving all the honest ppl a bad reputation. Thank you

Pat and his guys were awesome. Catano Plumbing is experienced, honest, clean, respectful, accommodating, and quick. These guys do amazing work, and are reasonably priced.

Catano, along with its affiliates, has done maintenance on my Navien Tankless System, gutters, and electrical system on my house. They were responsive, had competitive pricing, were professional, on time, and fully informed me while the activities were going on. Highly recommend.

Plumber “Joe and Pat” from Catano plumbing have lied to me on multiple occasions about a work needed to be done on my property. Joe the plumber had claimed that it would take two plumbers half a day and it would cost me $1250.00. This was to replace a thermostat wire that runs from the third floor to the furnace in the basement. It took him less than an hour and charged me $1100.00. Joe and Pat agreed to refund me some of it back but never kept their promise. Never call this company as these guys are scammers and not series about their customers and business. Also “Pat” and “Joe” refused to provide me their professional license numbers and full names. Both receipts do not have any of their business information on them.

I used this company several times. For example They came out and serviced my Lynx direct vent sealed combustion gas fired boiler every year for about three years. They basically bled the lines to my heating system and charged me $250. At first I trusted them because even though I though they were pricey I wanted to believe that they were being honest and they showed up on time. Long story short they never serviced the actually boiler and parts for the Lynx were never replaced and now they are rusted out. They are interested in over charging, which is kind of greedy but it gets worse. I wanted them to pull a permit for a sink that was put in by a prior owner. They showed up and charged me $150.00 for the estimate. Brian said would Pull the permit. They never pulled the permit even after I called them a few times. It appears this company is not licensed Pluming/HVAC company because they do not list their license number on their website as required by Mass general Law. Don’t make the same mistake I made. If you are going to get ripped off by a greedy “plumbing” company, at least make sure they are licensed. Do not hire this company.

I called Catano plumbing cause the Sewage was backed up in my basement and the stink was awful. The plumbers came right away and they had to dig the basement floor to work on the pipes. They were very professional and fixed every thing at a very reasonable price. I am very happy with the work and I will def use them again.

I picked Catano Plumbing randomly from the yellow pages. Noticed they have been in business for over 50yrs , so I decided to call. All I dealt with were prompt ,knowledgeable ,efficient and professional and reasonably priced. Was very pleased with the quality of the products and the service.[ and the clean-up after they were done] I would absolutely have them back for more work to be done and recommend them to others
