Best Garden Design in Phoenix AZ

I had the pleasure of working with the owner/designer Sean Andersen from Mountainscapers Landscaping. While I hadn’t a clear idea of what needed to be done in the area that I wanted to improve, Sean was able to produce beautiful designs and walk me through the process. Equally important, he was respectful of my budget and layered the project and costs so I was able to decide which elements were necessary. That allowed us to consider design enhancements while knowing their impact on the total cost of the project. Additionally, Sean’s enthusiasm for my project was energizing. I had confidence in his abilities and the team he assembled. If you are clear on your design ideas or need some clarity brought to your plan, Sean is your professional. I look forward to working with Sean again in the future.

I normally never bother to write reviews, but I have to share what was the worst customer service experience I've ever had to warn others of how they may get treated.

In April 2018, I paid in full for Chris to put together plans for my rather large back yard. Contacting him is an extreme pain - do not bother calling their business number as you will get connected with someone who seems like they could care less about your concerns. I emailed Chris roughly 15 times over the past 5 months and called countless times to try to get updates on blown deadlines, which there were 4 of them and countless excuses.

He eventually agreed to come meet at my house to try to right things and talk details of the plan, which came out to be incorrect twice (probably because there was such a long gap between the meeting and when he sent me the next drawing).

Finally in September of 2018, after missing the deadline for the 'final plan' twice, he sends me a drawing with no dimensions, no renderings, no estimates, and no water/power/gas line configurations like I had asked for. When I asked him about it - the drawing is 'to scale'. Now nobody can do any work without converting the plot plans to what a PDF hopefully correctly converts tiny measurements to.

All of this to say, I highly warn anyone who doesn't have money in hand (do not pay in full before the job is done, or this may happen to you too) for a specific job and dimensions ready to go to work with Lone Star. They really need to work on their communication and committing to promises. I am now out almost $2,000 with no workable plan. I am hoping they will now bother to call me and correct this imbalance.

Perfect in every way. From initial consultation to design, installation, and follow up. Would not change anything. We are very happy.

Chad Bennett at Ground Zero Landscape and Construction LLC does amazing work and completes it when he says he will. Not only have they done my yard but I am a Real Estate Broker and I have referred him to many of my clients and he has always done an amazing job for them and I have never had one complaint come back on him. They are always staying up to date on the newest products and continually going to courses to stay up to date with the newest products and trends. They will design and build just about anything you need from exterior lighting, hardscape and landscaping. I highly recommend this company for anyone needing work done on the exterior of commercial or residential properties.

As a project manager, I have used BJ's Landscaping many times for trenching and backfilling work and they have quickly risen to the top of my preferred vendors list. Their work is done cleanly and quickly. I am impressed every time. Thank you, Bobby and Mari!

Masterscapes did an awesome job on our backyard. It was a complete redo. Zee did an amazing job on the design. It was exactly what we were looking for. Communication was great and they always advised when they were going to show up. As the job progressed we made a few changes and they were willing to accommodate as well as make suggestion to make the backyard better. Strongly recommended!!

I have been using Phoenix Landscaping and Pools,LLC for about 3yrs now and I love their work. Competitive rates. They are very professional and communicate if they need to change the date of service. They send email reminders with suggestions. I'm happy that I found them! Almost didn't answer the call but glad I did.

I want to say thank you to the team at Big Nick's Landscaping. These guys are amazing. They did a travertine installation for us. They did such beautiful work and I am so happy with my expereince. Their crew is very organized, professional, and they do fantastic work. I can't say thank you enough. I definitely plan to utilize their services again in the future.

Landscapers Phoenix did a beautiful job of hardscaping. They are the best hardscaper in town.

I asked Luis to pretty much re-landscape my parents' backyard. All my parents had in the back was just dirt, weeds, and a citrus tree planted by my grandpa. Luis and his team came in and did an excellent job transforming the backyard to a much more attractive place for our family to hang out. My dad especially loves the putting green that was added... and the little bench between the citrus tree and the putting green is a perfect little shady spot to relax while putting around. Did I mention that Luis and his team was able to get the job done in one day! The timing was perfect! They completed the job before my parents returned home from the hospital. Needless to say it was a great surprise for them. Luis is a great guy with great teams working with him. I would highly recommend Landscaping Authority for your landscaping needs. I look forward to working with them again! The gents at Century West Landscaping are an excellent, fast, efficient and professional collection of well oiled cogs in the machine. These guys clear up your weed problems with ease and keep them gone! Every time Ivan and his crew have come out to my house it looks fantastic, front and back! Seriously I've been recommending CWL to everyone I know. True, honest, and hard work with the results you need.

What a wonderful company to deal with in Scottsdale. From the project layout to the final day of installation, these people were fantastic. I contacted this company via email and phone call on April 2 to have this company bid on landscape maintenance at my home. I verified verbally that someone would be at my hone by 2pm on April 9. By 3:30 today no one showed up and no contact was received. I called this company again and the lady I spoke with said she did have record of my inquiries and understood I was scheduled for service today but did not know why no one showed up. However, the lady said I was called but did not answer. I did see a call but for some reason no message was left. Nothing was communicated why no message was left or why it appears only one call back was made. The lady who I spoke with today said she didn’t know what happened but I didn’t talk to her. I replied that should not matter. I have had serious problems with finding a good landscape company and thus experience was no different. No one actually communicates. Their primary issue is not to communicate and certainly not accept responsibility. How companies can put such glowing, self serving descriptions on their website but have no clue about customer service is amazing. Lost me as a customer before they ever start. I am certain anything I say does not matter. Sad

3 times canceled, and my yard is not getting done before Christmas, what a surprise

Well just got a job me and my brother today,
Cool people and friendly

First they added a drainage system they charged us $9,000 and the drainage system does not work included in that was cutting a drainage canal and that just holds water so that was a very unsuccessful ordeal but they still want their money
Second they said they would replace all of our sprinkler heads for $12,000 then we caught them not replacing them they said oh it was only to be fixed got out on that Catch 22
Third they planted three trees they did not last more than a year only one of them's alive one of them's broke in half and one of them's completely dead but they say they don't warrant you that either even though they agreed to give it to your warranty this is the worst Landscape Company their word is no good there weren't you there no good be very careful
