Big Nick's Landscaping and Maintenance

We had some low voltage lighting installed in our yard. Big Nick's did a really good job. It wasn't just the installation that went smoothly but they also took the time to explain things to us and keep us informed during the installation. I genuinely loved working with their staff. They were so kind and went out of their way to make things easy for us. I am so happy with the end result. I will be recommending these guys to everyone I know.

I just had the team from Big Nick's Landscaping out to install pavers for me. This is such a great company and they do excellent work. Their staff was professional and got the job done super quickly. Everything looks great and they made sure to clean up after themselves when they were finished. I really can't thank this team enough. If you have any kind of landscaping or home maintenance needs your really have to call Big Nick's. You will love the experience. I know I did.

I have had Big Nick's do a number of jobs for me over the last few months including building block walls for us. They are so professional and always do an outstanding job. It can be hard to find a company that can handle all your landscaping needs and will charge a reasonable price but these guys are the real deal. I honestly wouldn't work with anyone else. They are outstanding.

The commercial property I own has a large courtyard that needs regular landscape maintenance. I was using another company but wasn't really satisfied with the restults. A friend recommended Big Nick's and the experience was night and day. This team is so professional and did an amazing job with our courtyard. We have been using them ever since. Our trees were really over grown. However, because I'm getting on in years I just couldn't safely trim them myself. My son lives in Prescott and wasn't available to come down and do the work for me so I started looking online for some help. I found Big Nick's and really liked their reviews. When I gave them a call they were super responsive and came out right away. They did an amazing job with the trees and it was very cost effective. I plan to have them come out regularly after this experience. Highly recommended.

Big Nicks has been servicing our HOA for over a year now. Nick and his team have done an excellent job overall for our community. This is a high-end boutique property with many demanding residents. Nick has gone above and beyond to accommodate many conflicting interests from residents, Board members, property managers, etc. We have been thru numerous landscape companies over the last few years, and in my opinion, and the opinion of the majority of residents, the place has never looked better. Are they perfect? No - but what I appreciate is that they are willing to work with us to try to improve. And there is a high level of courtesy and professionalism from the team. Nick is very approachable and responsive. They may not be the oldest or biggest landscape company, but they really care and do a great job.

I am so thankful that I chose to hire them. It won't be the last time!

We just bought a house and we had Big Nick's install pavers for us. They did a great job and were so nice during the whole installation. These guys really value customer service. It was a joy having them work on my home. If I could give them more than 5 stars on here, I gladly would. They definitely deserve it. Highly recommended.

We needed 2 Pecan trees and 5 Sissoo trees that were overgrown thinned and trimmed. The crew was on time, did an excellent trimming job, and cleaned up any debris. Very pleased and will definitely use Big Nick again.

They saved our playground grass! Between the AZ weather changes, and children constantly digging in it, our grass was brittle and dry. After Big Nicks company took over, the grass is back and looks better than ever. Can’t recommend them enough! They do the best job, and have the nicest staff!

My new backyard looks amazing. They also finished my sideyards and widened my driveway. The work was extremely professional every step of the way. The work crew is very experienced. And John Foley the main man is very pleasant to work with. I consider my yard project as being very average in size, and some landscape companies turned me down telling me they had larger projects to get to. Big Nick’s also had larger projects than mine on their books but they were very interested in my business from the beginning to end. John knew what would make my yard look great, but he also listened to my visions. Changes as we went were not a problem. As a result of all these things our finished product looks awesome, almost outdoor museum like, yet it also feels like our creation. It turned out even more beautiful than we had imagined.

Nick is the best in the business! Reliable, great communicator and hard working. He treats your home as if it were his own. Not just some quick mow, blow and go service. Owning multiple rentals I’ve seen a WIDE range of people in this industry. Nick is at the top. He pays tremendous attention to detail and has high standards. 1000% satisfied.

Excellent service from the first appointment (arrived on time and on the day promised) - that alone is worth a 5 start. Especially with the experience I had with other companies.
They did a complete concrete tear out and all new pavers and artificial grass strips plus palm tree and bushes.
The only complain was the time it took to get pavers! BUT they had zero control over this matter. The supply chain for these pavers was 12+ weeks. BUT again there was nothing they could do about this issue.
Would highly recommend Nick and his team of highly skilled individuals.

We chose Big Nick’s for our backyard landscape project based off of what we’d seen in reviews other satisfied customers had posted online. We had just purchased our home about 7 months prior, and while the front and interior were fantastic, the backyard was nonexistent. And, when I say that, I mean it was literally a barren dirt patch.

Enter Big Nick’s. They brought our vision to reality in an incredible timely fashion. We utilized them to demo and pour concrete, install an irrigation system from scratch, lay sod with a cool metal border, and put down about 7 tons of gravel.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the work they’ve done and 110% recommend them to anyone else in need of landscaping. You get what you pay for, and while I’m sure there may be a few companies out there that claim they can do something similar for less, I very much doubt you’ll get half the quality or attention to detail.

Nick is one of the most honest and hard working small business owners I have ever met. His passion for what he does truly shows in the quality of his work and responsiveness to customer concerns or questions. Even if I found a cheaper option out there, I would never use another lawn care company again as long as Big Nick's is still around!

Had them come out and bid on a tree trimming service in front of my house. Met with Nick and he was extremely professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have had trouble with reliable landscapers. I saw them during my neighbours l (which looks amazing) and asked if they would work on my front and back lawns. There was a lot that needed to be done. They fixed my Irrigation, cleaned up the crazy jungle I had going on up front and gave me really pretty grass like my neighbours. I also like that they invoice you and you just click a Botton to pay them. Nice and easy. My last guy I had to pay cash.

I couldn't be happier with the quality of service I recieve from this crew! My yard has seriously never looked better. They pay attention to my feedback and im kinda picky on how my plants grow! Always timely, always polite and professional. Not to mention it is easy to complete their digital invoices- no shady leave the cash under the doormat like all of my previous landscapers. Best crew in Arcadia.

I contacted Big Nicks for a backyard remodel. I asked for a quote. Nick showed up and seemed nice. After multiple texts trying to get a response or a quote I gave up. Big Nick ghosted me and never responded. Very unprofessional. I will not be using this company or recommending them to anyone.

We have not. By the time you answered me back, I hired someone and they came and gave me a quote. A business that doesn't answer phone calls and takes that long to get back is pretty frustrating. I needed to speak to a live person or be contacted within an hour at least. Its just professional to do so. I am a business owner and my customers are important to me. Then when you did call, you said yeah did you call this number?, well of course I did and left a message about it too. The way I would have done it is Hello my name is Victoria and I received a message from this number about our service. How may I help you? So you have a good day Big Nick's phone person. No dispespect but I have no idea who you are because you never communicated that at all

Big Nicks was the best yard service I’ve ever had! So sad they do not service my area anymore... I’m lost without them and wish they would come back... I’ve decided to just rip out all my landscaping and build a pool instead. I just can not have another service to do maintenance because once you have had Big Nick’s no other will compare , I’ll just stick to potted plants and tears... and some day... a pool.

Now here's a man who really loves what he does! Nick is passionate about lawn care and landscaping and he stands by his work. He has gone out of his way to help me and many others with their yards, trees, sprinkler systems, and mostly just because he actually loves doing it. The fact that he can make any money from this sort of work is just the cherry on top for him!

Every visit from Nick’s Lawn care is the same. My landscape looks so manicured. They also take the time for little things that go above and beyond to make the yard look better. Many thanks to Nick and crew. I can always depend on you.

I'm not great at keeping up a lawn so I wanted artificial turf installed. I'm so happy that Big Nick's was able to come out and take care of it for me. THey're such nice guys and did an amazing job.
