Now that the tear off and re-roofing of our 36 condominium units is complete we wanted to let you know of our evaluation of the work and the way it was performed. You were timely all the way through and stayed on schedule. At all times you kept us informed of your progress and whenever there was a problem of any kind, either real or perceived, you were quick to set it straight. We really appreciated your quick action and responsiveness.

I've contracted with RENCO for over ten years and have been extremely pleased with their professionalism, quality of work, responsiveness, caring attitudes and hometown presence. Quite the family run business! They've just completed a tile replacement for us...and we're absolutely pleased.

Roof recoating for the flat portion of my roof is coming due in about two years...and there's very little question in my mind that RENCO will place the bid that earns them the job. They've been around a long time and are extrmely trustworthy. Highly recommended.

Brown Roofing did a complete replacement of my shingle roof, including adding roof vents and replacing a skylight. Craig came out and did a full inspection, did a great job of explaining everything, and offered a very competitive bid. Debbie's communication was great, and once scheduled the crew arrived on time and completed the work in just two days. Craig was here every day to check the progress and make sure we were satisfied. The crew left no trace that they had ever been here and the new roof looks great. I strongly recommend Brown Roofing for all of your roofing needs.

They came when the said they would. We have a flat roof. Two other companies wouldn’t call back. They did a great job, they fixed the problem areas, and gave a us a new roof coating. They fixed all of the problems that came up. Thank you KY-KO Roofing for doing such a great job!

I am giving 2 stars before overall the roof looks good, however, their customer service is far lacking what it should be. I feel they've become so big, they can no longer give customers the attention needed to provide a good overall experience.

In 2018, our roof like many others got hit with that micro-burst and our insurance told us it's better to just get it replaced than fixed. We ultimately went with Lyons because they were a RosieOnTheHouse recommended contractor.

I'd like to state up front. There was nothing big that went wrong. This negative review is the result of many, many small incidents that built up to an overall bad experience.

Also, due to character limits I cannot go into detail on each, but will just list a quick list of everything they failed to meet good customer service on. Anyone can feel free to contact me directly and I will expand on any bullet point with more details.

Our problems started with getting in touch with them.
• Initial estimate was lost in their spam folder. Multiple times they took days, if not weeks to respond. One time, I had to reach out to them several weeks later for confirmation of start date.

This continued on from the start to finish of project.
• No phone call before they showed up 1st day (I was told there would be a heads up before anyone arrived)
• Project ran several days longer than estimated
• Roofers came at odd hours including 530 am with no warning
• Satellite antennae cable was cut
• Debris left behind after work was done.
• Large stack of unopened boxes left in driveway for days after work was done.
• Roof looked great except 2 parts. Small bubble in one spot and issue with metal stripping along flat wall.
• Project manager showed up for final walkthrough but did not contact me while there.
• No final walk-through with PM.

Even after project ended, we had issues with billing.
• Pre-Lein notice sent to house before actual invoice.
• Invoice sent on a Friday with a deposit on it that we did not make
• Accounting adjusted invoice with no explanation how deposit was put on invoice
• They failed to run the payment for the invoice after asking them twice. (got a temporary spending increase only valid that day)
• Next day, asked why they didn’t run payment. Was given an excuse that didn't make sense.

We asked for these concerns to be escalated to a manager, which more problems occurred
• Manager kept focusing on the 2 parts of the roof we had concerns of, kept ignoring everything else

He eventually came out to look at roof and while out there.
• Stated the small bubble in roof was not there. Said the damage to the metal sheet was normal
• Damaged a shingle with his ladder
• Talked in a very dismissive manner to me during our conversation
• Asked What are you looking for exactly after I finished telling him all my concerns
• Tried to put the whole thing back on me, saying his people complained about me being difficult to get in touch with
• Never once apologized for the overall experience being subpar
• He never followed up since he left

He did agree to send the project manager back out there to look at the metal sheet. He came out on a Friday. The PM came back out the following Thursday, a full week later. Giving praise where it's due, he did correct the issues with the metal sheet while he was there. It looked 100x better than how the actual roofers left it.
I left a review on Facebook that same day (before he showed up). I got a VM from a lady named Pepper. More kudos where it's due, she did apology for the overall experience and asked me to call her to discuss the whole thing.
I returned her call the following Monday and left a VM for her to call back. Have not heard from her since…

So in summary, their quality of work on the actual roof is good. They aren't perfect but no one is.
Their horrible customer service though should make anyone consider other companies. Especially when this place prides itself on customer service. The cost vs how we were treated caused us to never go with them again.

They provided great communication throughout the replacement of my roof, from helping me make the initial call to the insurance company to following up after the job was completed to ensure that I was satisfied. They got the job done in 2 days, which was amazing! Would definitely use them again!

Kevin and his crew repaired shingles that had blown off and came back to find a leak that had been pledging the building for over 5 years. Kevin found 2 areas that where probable leaks were. He repaired both and charged me a reasonable price!! I will never call another roofer!! (We have even used Kyko roofing; paid a ton!)

Patterson fully re-roofed my house 5 years ago. Last month, part of the roof fell apart in strong winds. I asked them for a repair and the cost. After asking me several questions, to which I replied, they ghosted me completely. Now I have to find a better company and pay hundreds to fix the shoddy work that they don't stand by.

UPDATE in response to business owner's comment. I replied to your last email on Feb. 17, 2023. You ignored it, and I followed up on Feb. 21 and Mar. 8 by email, no reply from you, and it didn't bounce back, so you did indeed receive a message from me. I'm glad to furnish copies as proof. But now you give me a phone number that you didn't answer and cannot accept voicemails because the mailbox is full. I affirm that I do not recommend this business.

Jack recently repaired the roof on a rental property we were selling. We were so pleased with that experience (responsiveness, pricing, workmanship) that we just had him do the roof on our personal residence. I would highly recommend Jack and his crew.

My project manager was Kris Chavez. He first stopped by my house last year but it was just as I was headed back up north for the summer. I told him I would be back the first week in Nov. to my surprise he stopped by again in Nov !! While I was gone a storm I lost one of my ridge vents leaving a big hole in my roof. He went to the store a bought a tarp and covered it for me. Once I had my claim filed through Allstate he took care of everything from there. He was professional and polite. Very please with this company and would recommend them to anyone needing roof repair.

Be careful if you hire this company. Just don’t share any insurance information with him, he will demand some extra proceeds that was issued to you from the claim . Mr Pachner just FYI my comments were not about workmanship but the way you handled things. You contracted a solar company directly on your own, when the solar company ruined the entire system, I contacted you to get involved and help me out, but you didn’t, you refused to help stating that you never received anything, text or email, blaming it on connection problem, but your assistant Neil called me back saying that you would call me in the afternoon, but you never did. I only heard from you 3 months later asking for the balance. Sorry, but you don’t do business this way.

Best Choice Roofing has an amazing team who made the process very easy! They came out for a free roof inspection and proceeded to get my roof paid for by the insurance company. I would highly recommend to friends and family!

Loved working with this company. Marshall the owner was very diligent in making sure everything got done as promised and done right. I feel good the most important asset is protected by Goe Roofing. Fair price and very honest.

I used Thomas Roofing in the past and I didn't hesitate to call them again to have my old roof replaced. They did a great job. They were prompt, worked very hard and cleaned up prior to leaving. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have their roof repaired or replaced.
