Best Electrical Power Restoration in Jacksonville FL

This is a very professional organization. American Electrical was referred to me by another very reputable company in town, David Gray Plumbing. After making my appointment, I received two calls confirming the appointment, one the day before. I also received a call from the Service Pro, Ricky about 20 mins before they arrived. They were right on time. Both Ricky and his assistant Lynell were very professional and courteous. They seemed to work very well together as a team. They wasted no time and got right to the job. When we ran into a few hurdles, Ricky suggested solutions that worked out perfectly. The final result of their work was perfect! I now have lights above my bar and an extra outlet on my patio. I highly recommend American Electrical; and would request Ricky and Lynell for any future work I might have.

They came out quickly to install several fans and run wire for a new plug to be installed outside. As usual I was not disappointed by the expedient service, the polite service folks, or the cost.

If you need electrical work done this is the place to come great prices and on time workers that gets work done in a reasonable time.

Scott and Danny were great! They showed up early, got the job done timely with excellent quality and price. They also answered all of my questions in language that I could understand. I am in finance and know nothing about electricity.

I have used them before and intend to use them again, very satisfied.

The person who answers the phone is pure rude. They cut off power to 10 different residents without notice. Blaming it on JEA when jea has nothing to do with what they are doing.

Attitude...Attitude...Attitude..find another company

I called Burbank electric after I had saw a recommendation on the Facebook Marketplace for this company. I had two wall outlets go out in my older house over the weekend and one was connected to my 75 gallon fish tank. I needed that one up and running fast.

Rich from Burbank stopped by and fixed my issue and he did it quickly. If I have any other electrical issues Burbank electric is who I will call.

Have had the opportunity to work with these guys on a couple of projects both big and small. Very professional and easy to work with. Give them a call and tell them I sent you.

EDIT 2: As of today, the technician contacted me and scheduled a time to complete the job today. He showed up and completed the job to my satisfaction. Therefore, I'm amending my review again, to 4 stars.

EDIT: Unfortunately I must edit my 5 star review to a 3 star review. While I was initially quite satisfied with the job done by Jax Electric, I was promised a return to finish the job that as of this writing, has not been honored. At the time of the initial job, I did not have the correct type of switches needed. The technician promised a return to finish that portion of the job for free, even though I offered to pay for his return. I contacted him stating that I was ready and had the supplies needed, to which he scheduled me. He did not show. I texted again, to which he informed me that he had me down for a different day. He did not show on that day either. I inquired again, and we rescheduled again. He informed me that there was a family emergency and had to cancel. He never contacted me to reschedule until I contacted him asking when he'd be able to finish the job. We rescheduled for today, and as of this writing, he has not shown nor contacted me. For this reason, I feel I have no choice but to revise my review. My original review is below.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

Hired to diagnose a shorted light switch and installation of several other smart switches. Technician was very knowledgeable and helpful, and offered suggestions about what types of switches I needed. Price was fair. Definitely would use this service again.

We had one wall in our home that no longer had power - neither the outlets nor switches. After trying the usual things to fix it, I contacted quality electrical services. Since it was later in the day, they took my contact information and said they could come out the next day. They called promptly in the morning, confirmed the time to come, and kept checking in to let me know when they were on the way. Very professional and a great price, and my power is working again. I highly recommend!

Josh and his team were some of the most professional people I have ever hired. They were so thoughtful and thorough! I would use them again in a heartbeat. They gave great advice and told me what I could expect. They even ask if I had any particular priorities or preferences, and then either met them, or offered even better suggestions! There are a lot of companies out there that have been around a long time, or may have big fancy billboards, but Hubbard Electrical Contractors are good people who offer a great service at a great price. I highly recommend them.

We had such a great experience with Crawford electric! Nick was so helpful and kind. We had a burned out breaker. He was very professional and came out to fix it within an hour of me notifying of the issue. I have two young boys that were so excited about having an electrician stop by and Nick was so sweet to them!

I’ve been using Gary and his team for various electrical projects for a couple of years now on multiple properties. I wouldn’t consider calling anyone else for my electrical needs. Apple techs are knowledgeable, dependable, and fair in pricing. I look forward to working with them on future projects.
