Crawford Electric

I hired them to rehang 6 simple fixtures I had taken down to paint. So, literally just reattach the wires + screws. They had 2 men here for 1 hour, needed one simple part and the bill was $459 or something in that neighborhood. I thought that was excessive but I didn't ask ahead, so opted to see it as a lesson to myself to get quote prior to install next time. I forgot this is post covid and business owners are taking advantage of consumers because they think they can blame the economy and our politicians. In any event, the real kicker here is they reinstalled correctly and then acted like I was an angry unreasonable customer when I called to schedule redo. That didn't go well so I sent the owner an email explaining the situation. He never replied. I followed up one time given that it's the busiest time of year and I gave consideration to the fact that he may be going in too many directions. No response to date...........sorry to report the bad news this business has been around a long time.

I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to Crawford Electric, Jeff was super helpful and saved my Sunday. My electric panel burned last night, Jeff came to help us on Sunday and came today to put in a new panel. I am so thankful. I do recommend his company.

Honest, excellent work, reasonable price, explained everything in detail, and we got same day service. We will definitely call Crawford again for future electrical needs!

I've given a TON of business to Crawford, despite the poor service and attitude I've experienced with one of their employees who goes by the name of Skyler. His arrogance and tendency to try to overcharge is offensive. He quoted me $1800 for a job to hang lights in my kitchen, most likely because he thought they didn't charge enough for my living room chandelier. Then the owner ends up quoting $1000 cheaper, so obviously Skyler had some agenda there. I was able to get past the disappointment I experienced with Skyler by requesting to not work with him again. I wanted to have two motion lights installed, which were done and had to be adjusted another day, which is fine. The other work was to have a Ring doorbell installed. The electrician Mark was fumbling on how to get this done and was supposed to get back to me with an update on what he needed. I never heard back from anyone at Crawford for two weeks. I called the receptionist and she said she would call Mark and call me right back. I never heard from her, called back and encountered an attitude from her and she seemed pretty happy when I mentioned I'd be going to another service provider. I would have to say the main reason for writing this review, was due to how poorly the receptionist handled my situation and with just a I don't care attitude and seemed annoyed with me when I questioned why I didn't hear back from anyone in over two weeks. I've given Crawford a lot of business. Very disappointing.

I called Jeff Crawford at 9am on Saturday of a 3 day holiday week end as the firm I have used in the past was not available until Tuesday and did not have emergency service available. Jeff was at our home when he said he would be and correctly diagnosed the problem. He called Beaches Electric for us as it was an issue on their end. The problem was fixed and the electric was back by 3pm! Jeff was professional and knowledgeable and will be who we'll call when we need electric work again!

We had another electrician come out to install a ceiling fan. For whatever reason the previous electrician was unable to do the job once the old fan was removed, leaving me with a hole in my ceiling. We contacted Crawford Electric and we were immediately given an appointment. I feared this was going to be a huge undertaking based on the previous guy. When Skyler and Will arrived, they immediately assessed the situation, put me at ease and took care of it in no time. The gentlemen were very professional and courteous. Keeping me informed throughout the process. I highly recommend Crawford Electric and a big SHOUT OUT to Skyler and Will. I will certainly be using them in the future.

Nothing but fantastic things to say about Crawford! Moved into an older home that needed rewired, lighting installed, repairs to existing electrical system. They were on-time and extremely knowledgeable. Last company we had out wanted to take out everything and replace with new. Would have been nice to do, but we just couldn't fit it in our budget so he ended up not calling us back. Our job wasn't huge, but Crawford treated us like it was. Give them a shout if you need help with electrical stuff. They are great!! Highly recommend.

Jeff Crawford Thank you! He was on time professional he reviewed our issue and gave me options on the repair. The most important thing he did though was pointed out some serious and dangerous flaws in the wiring that had just been completed for our new pool. These were things that could have caused electrocution. As a result we were able to get the original company back out and they have fixed all the issues. Thank you Jeff you have forever earned our business and anyone that asks we will send your way.

Wish we had gone with them in the first place especially after our original electrician ghosted us four times. Called Crawford and they came out within a week. They did a bunch of projects from adding an outlet to replacing outdoor fan box with a sealed one. They also installed a light that we purchased and it went out the next day. The owner himself came out and replaced it with no charge even though it wasn't the electricians fault but Home Depot's bad light. Crawford will be our go to company from now on.

The outlets on our patio were malfunctioning and one smoked when we tried to use it. I could smell the electric burning smell and called after hours. Jeff said that Schuyler was on the way. We used Crawford to complete three phases of inside electric work over the last year and were pleased with their work and timeliness. Today was top-notch. Schuyler was the best person to work at our home since we moved here. Schuyler identified the problem, fixed it, replaced two GFCI outlets, and was just a really great person with whom to talk. When we have an electric issue in the future, we will ask for Schuyler. He knows his stuff, is personable, and tidy. Schuyler is the type of person who loves his job, the customers, and best represents a super company like Crawford Electric. Zach and Levi were professional, respectful and thorough. I know the job I tasked them with was difficult and frustrating but they came through! Left my home clean which I appreciated. Also, the price quoted was fair and they did not upcharge me although it took longer and was more laborious than expected. Thank you both for your hard work!

Crawford Electric Co has been to our homes a few times over the last few years and they are the best company I have ever dealt with. One of the best technicians is James. He has been to our home a couple of times and came out today to address a couple of issues I had. He called twenty minutes prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way and when he arrived he quickly figured out what our problems were and repaired them. I would most certainly have him back for any future repairs I may have for my homes in the future.

I had a small electric job that needed done. Called several places and the most receptive and responsive was Crawford electric hands down. There were able to schedule the job within a few days and actually showed up early. Nathan, the service man was terrific- the job was done quickly and he left the place cleaner than it was when he started. I am EXTREMELY happy I called Crawford.

I had my AC company come out and test my unit and they said it was a power issue from the breaker box. On a Friday morning I figured that getting someone to come out before the weekend would have been out of reach but I was surprised by the speediness and professionalism of Crawford Electric. They not only got me in on Friday but they arrived earlier than anticipated. The tech that arrived was so professional and polite. He found the problem very quickly and solved the issue. Honest technician and great service. James quoted ($) only what I needed. Very reasonable and got my problem solved immediately. Good ol’ fashioned customer service you rarely find these days. I won’t hesitate hire Crawford Electric in the future should I have any problems.

Called for an emergency appointment. Not even 25 minutes later, they showed up. There was no upselling nonsense. The problem was simply fixed. High quality work. They have earned my loyalty.

I had so much trouble getting an electrician in the first place. But once I met James my wife and I couldn’t have been happier. He was very respectful, very professional, very knowledgeable and helped me understand what was going on with my house. (Btw it’s my first house so I barely know anything, I’m always asking questions. He helped me feel comfortable with him being in my home. He wore a mask and washed his hands. The electricity to my AC went out in the middle of summer. Jeff worked me in the same day which was awesome! He was very professional and on time. My problem turned out to be minimal at best and he didn't try to make me feel dumb or rip me off. Instead he was helpful and told me what to do in the future. I had such a great experience with this company from the second they answered the phone until the job was done. January took my initial inquiry and could not have been more kind, knowledgeable, and professional. When you don’t know anything about electric, it can be intimidating to ask the right questions but she was great. They offer free estimates which seems to be out of the ordinary for electric work but I’m not sure, very helpful though. Then Nathan (and another gentleman, I didn’t catch his name) came out to run a cable line. They found a different way to run the line and wound up cutting the initial quote in half. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs electric work. Thanks for your great work!

I'd like to tell you about their work but cannot. Jeff Crawford came out to do an estimate for us. He never followed up with an estimate even after several calls. In fact he never returned any phone calls or responded to emails.

Excellent service call. James took time to answer questions on other possible work in the future. Educated us about circuit capacity including where to move a problem appliance that kept tripping a breaker.
Replaced a faulty wired smoke alarm. Had a spare alarm on the truck so had him replace another alarm. Well prepared. Knows how to use the IPAD with cell service, take photos of work done, etc. Can't get any better than this.

Damon and Jeff transformed our dark, semi-dungeon great room and kitchen into lights you would see in an operating room. All I can say is WOW... We have an older home that we have relied on lamps and a ceiling fan light for lighting. No more squinting and using flashlights (kidding) to walk through these rooms. They installed 29 can lights between both of these rooms, and we can actually see our kitchen counter tops !!! All I can say is best money we have ever spent... We are now planning on having them come back and install some can lights in our bedrooms as well.... Very professional, and super nice guys ! Thank you, thank you, thank you.... My fiancé and I recently moved into a new home and the first day we moved we had some late night serious electrical issues. We called the emergency line and someone was out to assess and fix the situation within the first 30 minutes!! Very kind and attentive. They gave us amazing service but above all they gave us new home owners piece of mind that we can sleep easy and know our house is ok. I highly recommend them!!!

I really don't understand a few of the comments below ? Upon completion of our initial call, the office manager communicated to me very clearly that there was a minimum $98 diagnostic/dispatch fee for sending someone out to troubleshoot the issue. And trust me, I was GLAD to pay it. WHO WORKS FOR FREE ??? As a business owner, EVERYONE should KNOW that there are costs for paying the technicians, for fuel, all kinds of insurances, and many, many other fees.. Do you walk into a store and buy something without paying ? Or go to a doctor without paying ? WAKE UP PEOPLE !

January the lady at the front desk made an appointment for me immediately. The electrician was on time and very polite, he detected the problem in less than five minutes and installed a new ceiling fan for me. The price, the service, everything top-notch thank you

We had an emergency our breakers kept going off to our lights and sump pump and we’re afraid of fire. They sent out an electrician that afternoon which was just in the nick of time before the storms. The electrician fixed our problem professionally.

I will NOT use this company for any service and I do NOT recommmend them at all.

They showed up unannounced after I had cancelled a prior appointment and a follow up was not scheduled. They were in my house all of 5 minutes (not exaggerating), did not fix anything and said a tea kettle simply had a short and then charged me $100. Keep in mind they claim to do free diagnosis calls but refused to classify this as one. Do not use them!

Had them out today to rewire my house. They were on time , very professional, very clean and nice work. I have known the Crawford's most of my life.

I was quoted $50 each to install 4 GFI plugs .Invoice came to $330 .They never mentioned they charge an $89 service fee on top of all other charges.My wife called and said they had told me about the $89 fee.This is untrue ,I was never told..I was going to use them to install a ceiling but will now use someone else.When you quote a job at $200,stick with it.The invoice they e mailed does not break down the charges.Dishonest people.
