Josh Petrie and Jeff with about 4 other workers were at my house for 4 days straight helping update my 1964 home. They showed up on time everyday, were extremely professional, and also worked with me to come up with the best ideas for our needs. The crew gets along great and you can tell they enjoy what they do - which translates to their work. I am so thankful I came across American Electrical and ultimately hired them for our large job. Their pricing is more than fair and their knowledge is superior. I have nothing but positive things to say about Josh and his crew. Have used plumbing end for many years, then decided to try electrical end. The work of both entities is good and satisfactory, but the problem is the office and some of the staff. Some are not very helpful and are unprofessional. Brandon who oversees the invoices informed me of a small credit, then tried to say he didn't talk with me. that I spoke to electrical supervisor, which I did not
He then stated there would be no credit. This is not how you conduct a business to last.. Hope the owner gets the reviews, for it's unacceptable that this small issue could not be handled with integrity and without dissatisfaction.

The work that I got done was quick and professional, my complaint is, the technician had ran a new wire from the fuse box to the water heater and added a secondary box plus so other work . Thinking everything was good I didnt pay any attention to it because I had plumbing issues one resolved focus on the water tank and its not getting hot, use my multimeter and seen it was getting power I spent all this extra money on a water heater thermostat and heating elements, to find out it was the new 10/2 wire ran had a lump in it up in the Attic I know I voided my warranty when I cut it open to see and it was broke lead wire for the water heater,and pulled the wire out .this is not a bad mouth review just an experience I had. Everything seems to be working now after I ran a new wire myself.. I would use them in the future again if need be.

I had them perform a safety inspection, tear out some old circuits, and install some new receptacles. John and his crew identified a 220V (hot) wire that was not properly terminated by the previous homeowner's electrician. The wire was tucked away behind some pool equipment and just sort of left there. I hate to think about what might have happened if the safety hazard had not been found. Needless to say, I am furious with my home inspector and the home's previous owner. Do yourself a favor and hire real electricians (such as Lin's Electric) to do your work.

I hired R&R to change out the electric service at my home and install a new panel. Robbie the owner came out to my home and was very knowledgable and knew exactly what needed to be done to update my electrical. I received a quote from him the following day. Once I hired R&R they were prompt about getting electricians out to my home. The professionals they sent out did an excellent job. It was clear to me that the crew was experienced and talented. The front office was a pleasure to deal with and they were friendly, organized, and helpful. I will be using R&R for any future electrical work that I require.
