Advance Electric was fantastic through the entire process from the estimate to completion. I give 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for their professionalism, expertise and honesty. I’m having a pool installed and needed electric run from my inside panel to the pool panel. I had 4 different companies come out for an estimate, 2 quoted me extremely high for the work I needed done. Brice came out to take a look at what I needed, he sent me the proposal shortly after, it was just the right price and very reasonable for what I needed done.

Additionally, I was very impressed with how quickly the work was scheduled and completed, (within 2 weeks from the estimate) all the other companies couldn’t guarantee a timeframe of when they’d be able to start and complete the work. Communication through the entire process was outstanding and their team of electricians where all about business and getting the job done right; I highly recommend their business! I contacted American Electric of Jacksonville to hang crystal chandeliers in 2-Story areas of our new home. Not only did they get it done with amazing quality, there was a considerable amount of troubleshooting which they took in stride. They spent the time to get everything perfect which required hanging these heavy, massive chandeliers, and then placing hundreds of individual crystals. They treated the installation as if they were doing it in their house.

They were also incredibly easy to work with and really well priced. I can't recommend them enough. This company will be my go to for years to come.

Arranged an appointment for today between 11 and 1pm. Went so far as to cancel a Doctor's appointment so that I would be here. At about 12:50 pm I received a TEXT telling me that they needed to reschedule due to the technician having a family emergency. I guess they only have one technician. Basically they stiffed me and wasted my day. I strongly recommend that you use any other electrical contractor that you can find. Their attitude was extremely indifferent and unprofessional. No sense of concern. Takes unreliable to a whole new level. I am sure that they will post some heart wrenching response. But, excuses are a dime a dozen. Unbelievable.

Replaced two fluorescent light fixtures with LED bulbs. Work was done professionally and the lights worked fine. We thought that the bulbs they provided were not bright enough, so we asked them to replace them with brighter ones. They did this at no extra charge. They also installed a SmartHome switch at no charge.

I am a general contractor and the Duval county area and I tried to use all service electric. Unfortunately due to their unprofessional standards I was given an estimate andthen once I was ready to schedule the work I called back only to find out that they had no recollection or records of my estimate. Then proceeded to tell me it would be nearly 4 times the amount originally given in the estimate. please don't use them it's not even worth the headache. This misunderstanding put me in a very bad position with the investment group I work for.

Excellent service from first contact with Jacque in the office to the work done by Sean and Kenny. We are so happy with the outcome-they even rewired our old chandelier to replace the one my wife did not like. Great job-so nice to find a quality company with great staff!
