Best Residential Electrical Repair in Jacksonville FL

We had electrical run from the house to our backyard deck/gazebo. Cody and Sarah did an outstanding job, we are completely satisfied with the work performed. This is the second project we have used American Electrical, and would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them.

I had a bad experience with the owner of the company and would not recommend them based on the way he treated me. They gave us an estimate for a simple job and we questioned the quote bc the estimate seemed like a long amount of labor. We were told the job would take 2 hours of work and it was $100 an hour plus parts. The job was easily finished in less then an hour with no trouble. They still wanted to charge me the inflated price that was clearly quoted wrong on the time the job would take. I spoke with the owner and told them I was not paying for extra time that wasn’t spent and he immediately became rude and combative and said people like you try to get a cheaper price after. I explained I didn’t want a cheaper price I wanted to pay for the hours they worked. After being completely disrespected and yelled at by him he agreed to charge me a lower price. This was a very terrible experience and will not use them again. It was one thing to have a misunderstanding, but to be talked to like I am a terrible person and treated like that will not be tolerated. I felt like they over quoted the time by a lot to make more money off the small job.

I was referred by a relative and the service from Appointment to Install was prompt and professional. Everyone from dispatch to electrician was friendly and the results of the installation of lighting fixtures looks amazing. The chandelier was a difficult install but it was handled with no problem whatsoever. The kitchen is a great improvement from the previous 4' basic ballast that originally came with the home. Thanks to all at American Electric. I will be calling again for any electrical needs for my home.

We needed a dedicated line put in ASAP and Bolt Electric was fast, informative, and VERY helpful. Will use and recommend them in the future.

Very Unprofessional. Owner is not a good person. Owner “Shawn” will not answer and come get his money after cussing my mom out and threatening to put a lean on my house. First 2 days he was supposed to come out he never showed up or called. He finally decided to come out being 4 hours late and run his machine on turtle mode after we asked them for a refund. Just save your time and go with someone professional and not rude and nasty

These guys arrived on time responding to an emergency call due to me having an old (43 yrs) breaker for my a/c. It was a hot day in Florida and they were very understanding of my situation. Their work was very professional they know what they are doing. I recommend this company for all of your electrical needs!!

Lin’s Electric went above and beyond for us!!! We sold our house and had already moved away...like, 1000 miles away! The buyers of our house did a walk-they and found that a whole section of our house was without power. We freaked out since the buyer wouldn’t close until the electric was fixed. I called Lin’s Electric and they were able to send an electrician over to the house the same day we heard the bad news from the buyer (which was also the same day we were supposed to close!). Lin’s Electric fixed the issue on the same day, and they took video evidence of the newly working rooms so we could send it to the buyers! They helped us close ON TIME and worked hard to get us the video before the closing deadline. I cannot thank Lin’s Electric enough for working so diligently to help fix this problem! Complete trash. Unprofessional and incompetent. Couldn't repair a simple outlet in my bathroom after taking 3 weeks to schedule appointment and then showing up on the wrong day ?
