They charge by the job not by the hour, but the price quote is not free. They charged me $59 to come out and quote me over $600 to replace four simple ceiling lights in the kitchen with existing wiring. No attic work, no special mounting work. Should have been less than an hour's work and they quoted over $600.I should also mention the guy spent 20 minutes trying to sell me his fixtures when I already had mine in the house ready to install.I should also mention I called the office and courteously informed them that their quote was out of line. They promised me a callback from a manager - which never occurred.I'm sorry I paid the $59.Update 5/23/2017:After posting the above review, Mister Sparky contacted me and offered to refund the $59, which they did. They also asked me to take down the negative review. I said I would modify it. I have removed the negative language but I will leave the facts.Today a different electrical company came to the house and installed the lights as requested for a $30 truck fee and $75 for one hour's labor.The price Mister Sparky quoted me was not competitive and they did not get the job. That's how the free market works.

We just converted our patio into a 400 square foot sun room and American Electric provided all the electrical wiring for the space. The crew did an amazing job at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend them to family and friends. Thank you Mike Murphy and crew.

Danny and Scott were here and upgraded our panel box! These guys are awesome!! Considerate, efficient and so very helpful!! Even after a repair man that was called to move our hot water heater cut the water heater hose and sprayed water all over their equipment!! They were still professional!! We definitely need more people like them in the world!! Great job guys!!

Ken and Santonio came out and worked on a minor repair, but the service and professionalism were above expectations. I wouldn't call any other company for electrical work in the future.

Jax Electric was amazing for my simple job. Most companies don’t want to bother with a quick service call. Mike installed a much needed outdoor plug. His estimate was fair and in line with other estimates. He was prompt and completed the job with no issues. As a female he treated me with respect and didn’t take me for granted. We had one wall in our home that no longer had power - neither the outlets nor switches. After trying the usual things to fix it, I contacted quality electrical services. Since it was later in the day, they took my contact information and said they could come out the next day. They called promptly in the morning, confirmed the time to come, and kept checking in to let me know when they were on the way. Very professional and a great price, and my power is working again. I highly recommend!

I hired HEC to install a stand alone plug for my sauna and they were amazing to work with. They did exactly what I was looking for and more. While they were there I had them add a few extra outlets in my garage and I’m so glad I did so I don’t have keep running extensions cords. Crawford Electric Co has been to our homes a few times over the last few years and they are the best company I have ever dealt with. One of the best technicians is James. He has been to our home a couple of times and came out today to address a couple of issues I had. He called twenty minutes prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way and when he arrived he quickly figured out what our problems were and repaired them. I would most certainly have him back for any future repairs I may have for my homes in the future.

Artur and his team have completed multiple jobs for us. He is prompt, thorough and reasonability priced. The work is very professional he does not cut corners. So far, he has upgraded us to a 200-amp service, replaced the load center, cleaned up old cloth wiring and installed the wiring for new appliances and HVAC. His next projects will be wiring for a pool heater and hot tub this fall. Duval Electric is who we call for any electrical project.

Apple Electric is a 5 star + company. Gary assisted me in identifying what was needed and was very easy to work with. I changed my mind several times and they were very patient, understanding and didn't rush me. I would highly recommend them for your electrical needs.
