Best Electrical Wiring Upgrade in Jacksonville FL

Corey and Keith were both very professional and courteous. I wished I would have asked the hourly rate as I was shocked at the price. I approved the work before they continued so this is nothing against the techs. That rate is way higher than I expected. $250 to $300 an hour is on the ridiculous side fog s simple doorbell install.

Service was performed this morning and the problem was fixed. However, when I was quoted the price it was for an hour of work and then priced in increments of half hour if more time is needed. They charged for an extra half hour even through they were not here longer than an hour and told my daughter it was because of drive time, etc. When I was quoted the price it was DEFINITELY stated that the price began when they knocked at the door and that travel time was not charged. Shame on me. I should have required a written quote. Just don't make the same mistake as I did. It won't happen again.

The Master Electrician, Michael Thurston, was phenomenal! He was professional, courteous, extremely skilled and experienced, timely and personable. He was the perfect ambassador for Mister Sparky. We actually added to our project work thamks to his counsel. He was also an attentive mentor to his junior partner, Carlos. Michael took his work seriously without being testy or short with us when we broached slight changes in our desired plans for the scope of work. And finally, Michael was our advocate with senior management when settling the cost of the project. It was most pleasant experience I can recall while spending thousands of dollars! Mister Sparky and Michael Thurston are on speed-dial!

This is the first time I have used American Electric. I had an emergency situation with a few outlets in my home. Wesley and DJ were the electricians to show up. I really appreciate how quickly they arrived at my house. I explained the situation to both of them and they were in and out in an hour. I was very pleased with the professionalism, willingness to resolve the issues quickly and at a reasonable cost. I will call American Electric of Jacksonville for all of my future electrical needs!! A+, highly recommend! I unexpectedly had to get my outdated electrical panel upgraded to renew my insurance. Bolt Electric replaced it for the best price, and did a great job! Their electrician Josh could not have been more professional through a long tedious job. I gave your number to my insurance agent for her other customers needing the same thing.

After receiving quotes from a few companies in town, we hired Empire Electric to install a 90amp line for our new pool. They were fantastic and so easy to work with. Great communication, punctuality, and walked us through all of the options we had. Very reasonable pricing as well. These will be our go to guys for any electric work we may need done in the future. Couldn't recommend enough!!

Thompson Electric has skilled electricians. They installed and replaced several switches and a ceiling canister lights satisfactorily. The work was completed in a reasonable time.

I’ve used a hand full of electricians in Jacksonville through my business (Battalion Airsoft) over the eight years in an old building that needs expertise and I’ve not received the kind of expertise and responsiveness and professionalism that I have through Fred and his team at Spectrum WireWorks. Cost is always a huge factor in dealing with any contractor in a small business and Spectrum is a non union shop but moreover they are quick and accurate in their diagnosis and work. Time on the job isn’t drawn out. They are trustworthy. The owner is a Master electrician so I have confidence in his ability to handle anything and I’ve thrown them some real “anything’s” and it’s like butter to them. I’ve referred them to friends for small jobs at home as well. They loved their service and price. These guys are really good.

I called Schumann Electric twice for 2 different orders that we had pending. 1.) was to fix a breaker for one of our apartment buildings that went out. I spoke with Tony Carta and he sent out an electrician a few days after in which they charge JUST FOR THE VISIT ALONE without fixing the problem. The technician explained the problem with the breaker and said he needed to order parts to replace it and I asked for a quote to then pay for the service. I never received any quotes or invoices of any kind so that was left in the air. 2.) One of my tenants had an issue with her heater going out as soon as she turned on the stove. She called the city in hopes that the issue would be resolved faster but it delayed the process of us ordering the new breaker and replacing it so we had to resort to calling Schumann once more and the same situation they sent an electrician to see the issue and he explained that we needed to replace the outside breaker. Mind you i explained to them that we are on a time constraint because my tenant did not have any heat in her unit and once she tried to crank it on she basically could not cook. Tony Carta was the one attending all of the calls. Tony did not have a sense of urgency for my situation and i have yet to receive any invoices or quotes from both of those situations. I kept calling Tony to see what was status on the Breaker and he told me I hope you don't call me everyday just to see if the breaker came in. Which was extremely rude because I'm doing my job and making sure i get the work done since they haven't checked back with the previous issue so it was only right I try to get the situation handled and just so i can keep my tenant updated. All in all this company is absolutely TERRIBLE AND EXTREMELY RUDE TO POTENTIAL CLIENTS. TONY CARTA WAS VERY UNPROFFESIONAL IN THE WHOLE PROCESS. Once i got my situation fixed Tony called me about 5 days later to tell me that he finally got the part in and i told him that he took too long and we resorted to someone else fixing the breaker and replacing it to which he said to me Do not ever call me again and have fun taking care of those outstanding invoices. Tony Carta is very rude and i recommend that you contract another company because they probably wont do the work unless you call them 24/7. ABSOLUTELY GOD AWFUL COMPANY

The gentleman arrived on time was knowledgeable about replacing my panel. He was efficient and didn't mind answering my questions. The work was quality and I would definitely recommend him!
