A very good friend of mine whose father died, put the house on the market. Hired them to upgrade panel. Got a quote. Panel replaced but next day JEA inspector wanted to see where permit was pulled. No permit had been pulled. RF Elec told him it would be 400 more to get permit. May not be illegal but it is very un ethnical and underhanded. Hints toward blackmail. Since they knew it required a permit in the first place.

Like the other people that reviewed... what a mess. Crooked outlets. Work not done up to current code. Had to come out multiple times to fix things that were not correct. At least he did come back. But every time was an argument. You've got a beg to get anything done. It's random when they'll actually show up or if they'll even show up on the day they said they were going to come lol. For the same price I could've gotten more reliable company so there wasn't really any true savings

My commercial project was handled professionally, inspections passed with no issues. Estimates where fair and service timely.

The estimate was fair and the job was completed in a timely fashion. He cleaned up the area and made sure I was satisfied before he walked away. I would recommend this electrical service to anyone who wants the job done correctly and professionally.

Business was referred by home advisor. He no showed for the first scheduled appointment. I gave him second chance and scheduled a second appointment that he also no showed. How unprofessional. Good to know now before I contracted any work with him.

Installation of an electric panel was promised to be done in a few hours. Besides it took from middle of July to beginning of August to finally fix all the issues the installation person caused as well as installation itself and get a permit after 3 failed inspections within 2 weeks, a few mo later when turned heater on during cold weather, the heater switch started tripping. Called and tried to make things right, was promised to have switch looked at and changed if needed and was stood up twice-no call no show no answering texts or calls at the time of appointment! Had another electrician come over and check everything- loose connection between the switch and electric wire caused the tripping and damage to switch which needed to be changed! He also found 3 other switches that were not appropriate and needed to be changed and stated that he has no clue how it passed the inspection for the permit, because it shouldn’t!!!

Very unprofessional. Had to consistently contact this company to complete work that I had already compensated him for. Always made an appointment time but never showed. Work that he previously stated was completed, was incomplete and now I'm stuck with outside outlets that don't work, missing interior lighting that was never installed, and my money was not returned even though the work was not complete. This company would never receive a recommendation from me and doesn't deserve one star. Very dishonest company.

I was very pleased with the service I received from R.F Electric. Rodney was very knowledgeable and Professional. I had a few things I wanted to add to my new home was given a great price and the repair time frame was quicker then expect I am in love with my new additions and lighting !!!!! I would definitely use this company in the future highly recommended!

The gentleman arrived on time was knowledgeable about replacing my panel. He was efficient and didn't mind answering my questions. The work was quality and I would definitely recommend him!

I contacted this company to install light fixtures. The guys did an excellent job. They arrived on time and I received outstanding customer service. Would highly recommend R.F. Electrical Services.

Very unprofessional and dishonest. Incomplete work, never returned for repairs and other work he was compensated UPFRONT for, and dishonest about every appointment and time set. Still has not completed work to this date and was hired and paid by my husband 3 weeks ago.

From the first text, I knew that there was going to be an issue. No greeting, just “do you still need an electrician”. He said 10am on Friday so I took off work. Texted me at 1015ish saying 11am. At 11:05am he still wasn’t here.

I cancelled the appointment. If you like your time wasted then have at it.

On time and communicated well on everything throughout the work being done.
Gave me options on what I wanted and everything worked after it was finished.

R and F came out and did a excellent job

AMAZING service !! I will never call another electrical company again! These guys not only came out in less than 24 hours but did so with such a positive attitude excellent customer service!!

RF made an appointment to be here tooday and did not show; and did not return messages.
